A "wave" is equal parts conversation and document, where users can almost instantly communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more. Google Wave is also a platform with a rich set of open APIs that allow developers to embed waves in other web services and to build extensions that work inside waves.

What is the Google Wave API?

The Google Wave API allows developers to use and enhance Google Wave through two primary types of development:

* Extensions: Build robot extensions to automate common tasks or build gadget extensions to provide a new way for users to interact
* Embed: Make your site more collaborative by dropping in a Wave

Google Wave is currently available in a developer preview as the APIs and product continue to evolve. Accounts on the developer sandbox will be given out to people intending to build with the Google Wave APIs prior to the public release.

AVG Link Scanner

How it Works

AVG LinkScanner® works instantly, but the video show you a one and a half minute version.

Microsoft Calculator Failed

<img style="display:block; - concept phone On one hand, clear conceptual phones already, so this is not just the first, but on the other, the so-called Window Phone has one impressive feature - its transparent housing varies depending on the weather! Thus, in the sunny days, the screen will be completely transparent, on a rainy day it will appear «virtual» drop, but it is covered with frost frost. Ie translucent screen will look like as well as present a window into a variety of weather. I do not know how it will be practical, but at least, very original! :)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 395px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UCImzR85Xps/SqNNhVWjsvI/AAAAAAAACqw/lv6Hu8hMRh8/s400/Transparent_phone_02.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5378227615073284850" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 384px; height: 400px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_UCImzR85Xps/SqNNhu8C0VI/AAAAAAAACq4/T714NZaP39E/s400/Transparent_phone_03.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5378227621941399890" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 391px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UCImzR85Xps/SqNNhyLLKgI/AAAAAAAACrA/pzli8qKPDho/s400/Transparent_phone_04.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5378227622810167810" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UCImzR85Xps/SqNNiZO1RJI/AAAAAAAACrI/D-7NVsOGgpM/s400/Transparent_phone_05.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5378227633294492818" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 310px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UCImzR85Xps/SqNOiIXyGgI/AAAAAAAACrY/Y6Ie9PdX6o8/s400/Transparent_phone_06.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5378228728280259074" />

Remote Desktop for Mobiles

Access remotely your computer even through NAT and Firewall from mobile. The defining characteristics of LANs, in contrast to wide-area networks (WANs), include their usually higher data-transfer rates, smaller geographic place, and lack of a need for leased telecommunication lines.

A virtual LAN, commonly known as a VLAN, is a group of hosts with a common set of requirements that communicate as if they were attached to the Broadcast domain, regardless of their physical location. A VLAN has the same attributes as a physical LAN, but it allows for end stations to be grouped together even if they are not located on the same network switch. Network reconfiguration can be done through software instead of physically relocating devices.

Find Small Tips On suby.co.nr

Email in Indian languages

It's hard for me to imagine going without email for a day. It's such an easy and convenient way to communicate with my friends and family. However, there was one limitation that bothered me: my family members and friends who prefer to communicate in Hindi did not have an easy way to type and send email in their language of choice. I am extremely happy to announce the launch of a new feature in Gmail that makes it easy to type email in Indian languages

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 238px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_UCImzR85Xps/SdL4xz4zeOI/AAAAAAAACfw/9OmtiSI-2nY/s400/GoogleLanguage.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319587644503718114" />

Click here to know how

WORLD EARTH HOUR 2009 - Save Mother Earth

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 391px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UCImzR85Xps/Sc0nOp5iA-I/AAAAAAAACfg/pIfMy9AmJBA/s400/Earth+Hour.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5317949867713233890" />
Mother Earth has offered us all so many beautiful gifts from the air that we breath to the land that we walk on.. And what have we done for her? Just polluted her, cut down and destroyed her, each and every second of our lives we help deteriorate her in every possible way by using electrical appliances, burning fuel, dumping wastes into the oceans etc..

So how can you be a part of World Earth Hour..
Just switch off your lights on March 28th 2009 at 8:30pm[IST] for one whole hour..

Taking four years to complete, the switch is created using a small scratch on a piece of glass. The scratch will mean almost instantaneous error free access to the internet anywhere in the world, announced by Centre for Ultra-high bandwidth Devices for Optical Systems (CUDOS) at the Opto-Electronics and Communications Conference (OECC) held in Sydney.

"This is a critical building block and a fundamental advance on what is already out there. We are talking about networks that are potentially up to 100 times faster without costing the consumer any more," says Federation Fellow Professor Ben Eggleton, Director of CUDOS which is based within the School of Physics at the University of Sydney. The scratched glass is actually a photonic integrated circuit that has the capacity to increase the slow rate of information carried by optical fibres.

Using photonic technology that has terabit per second speed, the circuit uses the scratch as a guide or a switching path for information. Similar to when trains are switched from one track to another, this switch takes only one picosecond to change tracks. Therefore in one second the switch is turning on and off about one million times.

With the current prototype proving to achieve speeds 60 times faster than current Australian networks, the development team is confident that with further work the future of the technology looks promising. As we move towards faster and faster networking there will be ever higher demand for instant web gratification and photonic technology might be the way towards delivering those needs.

TFOT has previously covered P4P – next generation P2P, an advancement to file sharing technology. The system has the ability to make internet service providers (ISPs) and peer-to-peer (P2P) software providers work together in order to deliver data in a more efficient manner. TFOT also recently covered the world's smallest transistor, where graphene is carved into tiny electronic circuits with individual transistors not much larger than that of a molecule.

Additional information on the new scratch switches can be obtained at the University of Sydney's website.

C:\resycled\ntldr.com is not a valid win32 application error

Defected :

Everytime I click on my external hardrive, I get this error message;

c:\resycled\ntldr.com is not a valid win32 application

Tho I can access the hardrive by right click>explore

I was having this same error message when i clicked on my local C:drive but I have just restored my computer with the start up disk and am only getting it on my external hardrive.

Resolution :

Download tool Gozilla removal tool

Read about Resolution From ma Friends BLOG

Download tool here

Retrieve permanently deleted mail in outlook

Just because you accidentally deleted an important mail from your outlook inbox? Now right click the new Dword Value and rename it toDumpsterAlwaysOn.
Note: This is case sensitive.

7. Right click on the DumpsterAlwaysOn and modify the Value data to 1and click on OK.
When you type 1, this means the Recovery deleted Item is on. Also 0 to turn it off.

8. Formerly known as Gaim but because AOL’s instant messenger (AIM) has similar name, they’d to change the name and they chose Pidgin. By all in one instant messenger, I mean that it supports and allows you to login to multiple networks, i.e. using Pidgin only you can access and chat with your friends on Yahoo messenger, Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk and lot others. Lets look at the PROS and CONS of Pidgin. We know that it has got one huge benefit, that it is a all in one messenger but is it good or not, lets find that out :
PROS of Pidgin :

1. All in one instant messenger : This is the best feature of Pidgin as you can log in to multiple networks at one go. This not only saves you from installing multiple softwares but saves memory too. As you just have to run one software instead of all the messengers. It supports Yahoo, Windows Live Messenger, AIM, ICQ, Jabber, Gadu Gadu, IRC (these being the popular ones) and many more.

2. Less Memory Usage : Pidgin uses around 24 Mb of memory and considering the fact that it is the only software which you’ve to run for chat and not multiple softwares. This saves lots and lots of memory and people like me will certainly find it very useful.
3. Extend-able through plugins : Pidgin gets better with the help of various plugins and that gives boost to this program’s profile too. Any program which can be extended is always better than the ones which can’t have plugins. So, if you are missing a feature in Pidgin, then you can always look for a plugin for it (although you may not find the one, which you want but chances are you’ll find one or there will be one under development…always think positive).
CONS of Pidgin :
1. Not so impressive interface : The interface of the software is really not impressive. Developers have tried to keep it as simple as they could but it is not the easiest of all too. One has to spend some time with this software, in order to ensure that the person can access all its features.
2. No support for audio or video : Pidgin doesn’t have any functionality where one can make use of VoIP features of the networks or the video conferencing of the networks. This is a real big negative of pidgin. Even there is no plugin for the same.
Overall rating & views :
Pidgin is a multiple network supporting messenger with the basic functionalities and a product which heavily depends on its plugins. Pidgin can be useful for those users who are not into all those frills and who are not interested in the audio and video functionalities but want a messenger which can support many networks. If that’s your requirement then its definitely worth a try but you may not like the interface too.

Opera@USB makes the super fast Opera browser portable

Overview:
Opera@USB has the same features as a normal desktop version, surf the web, write emails, use IRC while having your contacts, bookmarks and settings with you - anytime and everywhere.
Features:
- there are no unwanted effects on IE or other browsers
- existing Opera versions are not affected
- make no entries to the registry
- works with every Windows PC (company, Internet cafe, friends,..)
- leave no data on the host computer
Review:
Opera@USB attempts to make the Opera browser fully portable with pretty good results in my opinion. All of Opera features along with it's trademark speed are packed into a zip file which can be placed into a pen drive and launched normally. Opera@USB supports a wide variety of languages so if your an international person the chances that your language is supported are very high. The only drawback with this program is that it only works with Windows that sucks when you think the original Opera browser works with Windows, Linux and MacOSX.
In conclusion Opera@USB is a pretty good way of running Opera from your pendrive oh and if you are looking for a more anonymising alternative then try OperaTor. Available for all Windows versions.
Get it at http://www.opera- usb.com/

Remove Virus from USB Card

Many of your PC/laptop's normally gets virus because of Pen Drives or USB devices (Even PC's who are not connected to network). In such a case what can you do to prevent your PC from getting infected with Virus that spreads through USB devices or Pen Drives?
You can protect your PC by just following the simple steps below. It won't take much time.
Connect your Pen Drive or USB drive to your computer.

Now dialogue windows will popup asking you to choose among the options as shown in the figure. Likewise there is a trick to make Internet Explorer 6 fast too. Browsers are designed to work with fast connections but with this trick even dial-up users can experience fast and smooth browsing.

Optimize Firefox and IE Browsing Speed

I shall be teaching you two tricks which work separately on Firefox and Internet Explorer. It doesn't require you to be some expert rather all you have to do is change some registry values and you are done.This is perhaps one of the oldest tricks to optimize Firefox and IE but it still works great.

Trick to Increase Firefox Speed

1. Open Firefox and in the address bar write about:config and press enter
2. Double click network.http.pipelining and set it to True
3. Double click network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and set value to 10 from 4
4. Right click and create a new string nglayout.initialpaint.delay and set its value to 0

You are done. Enjoy lightning fast Firefox browsing and now for IE.

Trick to Increase Internet Explorer Speed

1. Go to Start –> Run and type regedit
2. Select HKEY_CURRENT_USER –> Software –> Microsoft –> Windows –> Current Version –> Internet Settings
3. Increase the values (DECIMAL) from default to a higher value e.g. 10

Http VS https

The main difference between http:// and https:// is, It's all about keeping you secure

HTTP stands for HyperText Transport Protocol, which is just a fancy way of saying it's a protocol (a language, in a manner of speaking) for information to be passed back and forth between web servers and clients.

The important thing is the letter S which makes the difference between HTTP and HTTPS.

The S (big surprise) stands for "Secure".
If you visit a website or webpage, and look at the address in the web browser, it will likely begin with the following: http://.

This means that the website is talking to your browser using the regular 'unsecure' language.

In other words, it is possible for someone to "eavesdrop" on your computer's conversation with the website.

If you fill out a form on the website, someone might see the information you send to that site.

This is why you never ever ever enter your credit card number in an http website!

But if the web address begins with https://, that basically means your computer is talking to the website in a secure code that no one can eavesdrop on.

You understand why this is so important, right?

If a website ever asks you to enter your credit card information, you should automatically look to see if the web address begins with https://.

If it doesn't, there's no way you're going to enter sensitive information like a credit card number!

Less Known Facts - about Bill Gates

1. Bill Gates earns US$250 every SECOND, that's about US$20 Million a DAY and US$7.8 Billion a YEAR!

2. If he drops a thousand dollars, he won't even bother to pick it up because during the 4 seconds he picks it, he would've already earned it back.

3. The US national debt is about 5.62 trillion dollars, if Bill Gates were to pay the debt by himself; he will finish it in less then 10 years.

4. He can donate US$15 to everyone on earth but still be left with US$ 5 Million for his pocket money.

5. Michael Jordan is the highest paid athlete in US. If he doesn't drink and eat, and keeps up his annual income i.e. US$30 Million, he'll have to wait for 277 years to become as rich as Bill Gates is now.

6. If Bill Gates was a country, he would be the 37th richest country on earth.

7. If you change all of Bill Gate's money to US$1 notes , you can make a road from the earth to moon, 14 times back and forth.But you have to make that road non-stop for 1,400 years, and use a total of 713 BOEING 747 planes to transport all the money.

8. Bill Gates is 40 this year. If we assume that he will live for another 35 years, he has to spend US$6.78 Million per day to finish all his money before he goes to heaven.
Last but not the least:

The Best One!!

9. If Microsoft Windows' users can claim US$1 for every time their computers hang because of Microsoft Windows, Bill Gates will be bankrupt in 3 years.

Orkut.com , Founder

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 256px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UCImzR85Xps/SQWLL4i9nkI/AAAAAAAACIo/_KaUrqRWP0w/s400/o2.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5261764775926144578" />

A guy lost his girlfriend in a train accident....

but the gal's name nowhere appeared in the dead list. The exact date when we celebrate our birthday has moved around over the years, depending on when people feel like having cake. For more on Google’s history: http://www.google.com/corporate/history.html

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UCImzR85Xps/SN4UuluR7OI/AAAAAAAABpM/9kJ7nacUXow/s400/google10thaniv.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250657006193339618" />Google has got a new logo on its 10th birthday.It has been great 10 years for google, in which they rose from ground and now they are the leader in Internet
technology and that too by a margin.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GOOGLE and all its employees and its users.

According to official google blog.

The Google doodle tradition started a long time ago (in summer 1999, in fact) when Larry and Sergey put a stick figure on the homepage to signify that they were out of the office at Burning Man. Nothing against stick figures, but our logo designs have become rather more varied since then. Today you’ll see a special design that commemorates our 10th birthday. We’ve incorporated a little bit of history by using the original Google logo from 1998. And since everyone keeps asking what we’d like for our birthday (besides cake and party hats) — the first thing we thought of was a nice new server rack.

Official google blog celebrating google birthday

Microsoft Sliver Light

Light Up the Web Microsoft® Silverlight™

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UCImzR85Xps/SLJTcRjfPLI/AAAAAAAABok/AMCLlLqnOuo/s400/frontpage.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238341061799001266" width="256" height="92" />

What is Silverlight?

Silverlight is a new cross-browser, cross-platform implementation of the .NET Framework for building and delivering the next generation of media experiences and Rich Interactive Applications(RIA) for the web. It runs in all popular browsers, including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera. The plugin required to run Silverlight is very small in size hence gets installed very quickly.

It is combination of different technolgoies into a single development platform that allows you to select tools and the programming language you want to use. Silverlight integrates seamlessly with your existing Javascript and ASP.NET AJAX code to complement functionality which you have already created.

Silverlight aims to compete with Adobe Flash and the presentation components of Ajax. It also competes with Sun Microsystems' JavaFX, which was launched a few days after Silverlight.

Currently there are 2 versions of Silverlight:

Silverlight 1.0 :

Silverlight 1.0 consists of the core presentation framework, which is responsible for UI, interactivity and user input, basic UI controls, graphics and animation, media playback, DRM support, and DOM integration.

Main features of Silverlight 1.0 :

Built-in codec support for playing VC-1 and WMV video, and MP3 and WMA audio within a browser.

Silverlight supports the ability to progressively download and play media content from any web-server.

Silverlight also optionally supports built-in media streaming.

Silverlight enables you to create rich UI and animations, and blend vector graphics with HTML to create compelling content experiences.

Silverlight makes it easy to build rich video player interactive experiences.

Silverlight 1.1 :

Silverlight 1.1 includes a version of the .NET Framework, with the full Common Language Runtime as .NET Framework 3.0; so it can execute any .NET language including VB.NET and C# code. Unlike the CLR included with .NET Framework, multiple instances of the CoreCLR included in Silverlight can be hosted in one process.[16] With this, the XAML layout markup file (.xaml file) can be augmented by code-behind code, written in any .NET language, which contains the programming logic.

Main features of Silverlight 1.1 :

A built-in CLR engine that delivers a super high performance execution environment for the browser. Silverlight uses the same core CLR engine that we ship with the full .NET Framework.

Silverlight includes a rich framework library of built-in classes that you can use to develop browser-based applications.

Silverlight includes support for a WPF UI programming model. The Silverlight 1.1 Alpha enables you to program your UI with managed code/event handlers, and supports the ability to define and use encapsulated UI controls.

Silverlight provides a managed HTML DOM API that
enables you to program the HTML of a browser using any .NET language.

Silverlight doesn't require ASP.NET to be used on the backend web-server (meaning you could use Silverlight with with PHP on Linux if you wanted to).

Compatibility

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UCImzR85Xps/SLJTcTCCCVI/AAAAAAAABos/MwXtOf9iR7M/s400/req_silverlight.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238341062195546450" width="400" height="322" />

The iPhone price has been announced.
