How to fix iMessage and Facetime Activation failed/waiting / error on Airtel, Jio & Vodafone Idea (VI) Prepaid or any other Prepaid.

If you have tried all the methods of turning on/off, airplane mode, network reset, etc. etc. and still have not been able to activate Facetime and iMessage on your iPhone.

I will give you three simple steps:

Make sure the My Number field under Settings > Phone > My Number has your number entered in International number format. i.e country code-mobile number eg: +919999999999

This is the most important step, since the activation message is sent to an international number, your unlimited prepaid plan doesn’t allow the message to be sent. So you need to have some talktime balance on your card. You can recharge with Rs.10 to get about Rs.7 talktime,

Try to activate Facetime or iMessage again. Now Rs.5 should get deducted, and your Facetime and iMessage will get enabled!

Leave your comments below if you got it enabled or still have an issue

I have tried many different web-hosts in the past, including Hostgator, Hostmonster, Godaddy, Dreamhost etc. Some I bought for myself & some for my clients. However Hostgator has proven to be one of the best out of them. Their server performance is fast and support is quick & responsive. So this year, I decided to renew my web-hosting with Hostgator. They use cpanel for management. What I like about their control panel is that, they have a no-fuss system, which even non-geeks can easily swift through. They have one-click installers to get you started with your website, be it a blog, forum, presentation based, image gallery etc. All types of websites are up in 5 minutes with just one click. The installers do the geeky part in the background themselves. If you get stuck in setting up your website or something, you can ask me in comments below.

I have been using the Hostgator’s Baby Web-Hosting plan for past 1 year, using an unknown “coupon code”, which I got from a Hostgator guy, and which no one else has it on internet! I have saved over hundreds of dollars with this coupon over time.

This coupon code consistently gives maximum discount more than any other cupons every time I have used it. My friend also got an amazing deal from this promo code coupon only. This discount coupon works on all types of plans, be it Shared Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS Hosting or Dedicated Server!

Hostgator Coupon Code for Maximum Discount

Today, I am revealing this discount code to you as I have benefited from it all time, so now you can too!

Below just enter your id where the coupon needs to be sent, and you will get it right away. Just remember to remove the old coupon pre-applied by Hostgator (gives lower discount), and apply the one you get in your mail. You will save maximum money possible with this!

If you are an Indian Telecom user (Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Tata Indicom, Docomo, Reliance etc.), Then you are in luck for some free offers. With the launch of MNP – Mobile Number portability, these telecom companies are doing everything to retain their customer base.
I thought of checking with one of the service provider(Airtel) , if I want to switch around to other company.
And it came as no surprise, upon asking them to switch to other operator, Airtel gave me a “Airtel Surprise Offer”. They offered me 10p/minute for one month!
To send the magic SMS

Send “PORT <your-mobile-number>” TO 1900

and in sometime you will get a SMS with some transfer code(ignore it, if you are fine with your provider).
I researched a little bit and found that your Airtel Surprise can be free talktime, special call rates, free sms etc.
I am not too sure about other operators but if you also got such offer on Vodafone, Idea, Tata Docomo etc. Tell Us in comments below.

Google conducted experiments to reveal this shocking fact that Bing copies Google results.

Google used some search terms for which results didn’t existed in there database and artificially inserted totally irrelevant page for that search term. The terms didn’t appear anywhere on the page, in title, content, link etc. Search terms used for example were:

tarsorrhaphy

hiybbprqag

delhipublicschool40 chdjob

juegosdeben1ogrande

indoswiftjobinproduction

mbzrxpgjys

Microsoft uses the Bing toolbar’s suggested site feature and the Customer Improvement Program thing to copy the results. Whenever a user types in a query on Internet Explorer, that query and the result user clicked is phoned back to Microsoft Bing, and Bing just inserts that most clicked result to its SERPS. But what an amazing algorithm really! This much of feedback to its search engine is pretty bad btw. What if I create an artificial feedback generator where I will make Microsoft Bing think that the most clicked through site for the word “Microsoft” is TechGeekGuy.com .
