Simplicity is what I love with Google Chrome. Other Search Engines are very difficult to use. This one is minimalist. It will not take you a decade before it will become a user friendly search engine. I just love it. =)

This is quite interesting. I knew that Google acquired certain companies – in particular they purchased the underlying infrastructure for Google maps as well as Google Earth. However, I never knew that they purchased a company for the infrastructure behind AdSense. Ultimately, I believe that this is a major problem with our economic system though. We allow for continual accumulation, resulting in vast inequalities of power (both economically as well as politically). Just look at Google with regards to Adsense; if they do not like something you have done they are free to revoke your site (and there is little you can do other than to beg for them to stop).

In case any one was interested, I was doing a little research on popular browsers the other day. According to http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp the stats are as follows:

Firefox – has about 46% of computer users
Internet Explorer – has about 30% of computer users
Google Chrome – has about 17% of computer users
Safari – has about 3.5% of computer users
Opera – has about 2% of computer users

I tried Google Chrome a while back; however, I found it similar enough to Firefox that I didn’t change (perhaps old habits die slowly :] ). These days, unless you need an Internet browser for a very specific reason, it seems like one is just like the other. I don’t notice huge differences between IE, Firefox, or Chrome (even though, apparently IE is much more susceptible to viruses – or at least it was).
