According to tipster Yogesh Brar, OnePlus could introduce its new N series in India as early as next month, that is July 2026. While OnePlus has not officially confirmed the existence of the new smartphone lineup yet, but the leaks seems to bring a completely new yet affordable option. 

OnePlus N series: Price is the main highlight

If the latest leak turns out to be accurate, the first OnePlus N series smartphone could make its debut in India sometime in July. At the moment, there is very little information about the device itself. However, the biggest talking point is expected to be the pricing. The leak suggests that some N series models could be priced below Rs 20,000, making them among the most affordable OnePlus smartphones available in India.

This would place the upcoming phones below the Nord CE 6 Lite, which currently starts at Rs 20,999. Over the last few years, the Nord CE series has largely handled the budget segment for OnePlus. But with smartphone competition becoming more intense, the company may be looking to create a separate lineup dedicated to entry-level buyers. 

The N series would also give OnePlus a stronger position against brands such as Redmi, Realme, Poco, iQOO and Motorola, all of which already have multiple options under the Rs 20,000 price bracket.

What about the specifications?

For now, OnePlus has managed to keep most details under wraps. Even leaks haven’t revealed anything about the processor, display, cameras, battery capacity or charging speeds. So, it will be way too early to predict what the new affordable OnePlus phone will offer. 

That said, OnePlus has recently shown its interest to bring bigger batteries and higher refresh rate displays to affordable phones. The recently launched Nord CE 6 Lite, for instance, packs a large 7,000mAh battery and a 144Hz display. Whether the N series follows a similar approach remains to be seen.

For now, though, this remains a leak. Until OnePlus makes an official announcement, it is best to take these details with a pinch of salt.

Siri AI gets a major overhaul  

Siri AI was one of the headline announcements at WWDC 2026. Apple has rebuilt Siri and tied it more closely with Apple Intelligence. The company says the assistant can now handle more complicated requests, understand context better, and work across different apps more effectively than before. 

Users can still access Siri through the “Hey Siri” command or by pressing the power button. At the same time, iOS 27 brings a redesigned Siri interface. On iPhones with Dynamic Island, Siri interactions now appear at the top of the screen. Users can also swipe down from the middle of the display to bring up Siri AI and continue conversations in a chat-like interface.  

Apple is also bringing a dedicated Siri app that acts as a central place for interactions with the assistant. Users can revisit previous conversations, ask follow-up questions, generate text and images, analyse files, and adjust how Siri sounds and responds. 

Siri AI can work across apps, understand on-screen content, and perform actions based on what users are looking at. Apple says the feature will be available across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Vision Pro, CarPlay, and AirPods. 

Apple Intelligence expands across apps 

Apple also announced a major upgrade to Apple Intelligence, which now powers several system features. 

In Safari, Apple Intelligence can organise tabs into categories, notify users about changes on websites, and even help create custom browser extensions through simple descriptions. 

The Messages and Mail apps are getting AI-powered smart replies that can generate responses based on context. Calendar can now create or modify events using natural language commands. 

Apple Intelligence is also coming to the Shortcuts app, Home app, Passwords app, and accessibility tools. The Passwords app can automatically strengthen weak credentials and update them on supported websites. 

Apple also confirmed that the new Apple Intelligence architecture has been developed in collaboration with Google. 

iOS 27 brings Liquid Glass improvements 

Apple has refined its Liquid Glass design language in iOS 27. 

The update introduces an opacity slider that allows users to control how transparent the interface appears. Apple has also redesigned app icons and adjusted visual elements to improve readability. 

Beyond design changes, Apple claims iOS 27 delivers faster app launches, quicker AirDrop transfers, improved search performance, and faster loading across Mail, Photos, and Apple Music. 

The company says iPhones as old as the iPhone 11 should also feel more responsive thanks to changes made to CPU scheduling. 

Photos and Image Playground receive AI tools 

Apple is bringing several new AI-powered editing features to Photos. 

The updated Clean Up tool can remove objects more naturally while generating more realistic backgrounds. A new Extend feature allows users to expand photos beyond their original frame, while Reframe lets users adjust composition and perspective after capturing an image. 

Image Playground is also receiving major upgrades. Users can now generate photorealistic images, create visuals from existing photos, edit images through text prompts, move or resize objects, and generate custom wallpapers. 

Apple says all AI-generated or AI-edited images will include a SynthID watermark. 

New parental controls and child safety features 

Apple has expanded parental controls with a new Child Account system. 

Parents can create age-appropriate accounts, control app access, manage contacts across Phone, FaceTime, and Messages, and set category-based screen time limits. 

Children can request permission to access websites or download restricted apps, while parents get more detailed insights through an updated Screen Time dashboard. 

Apple is also introducing additional setup options for children using an Apple Watch without having their own iPhone. 

Availability 

Developer betas for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate, watchOS 27, and visionOS 27 are available now. Apple plans to roll out the stable versions later this year. 

Siri AI will initially launch in English and will support more languages later. Apple has also confirmed that Siri AI will not be available on iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 in the European Union at launch, though it will be supported on macOS, watchOS, and visionOS in the region.

According to outage-tracking website Downdetector, reports related to Canva saw a sharp rise. Users mentioned different issues, including trouble logging in, accessing the website and app, and loading existing projects on the platform. 

The disruption has affected a large number of users. Canva is one of the most popular graphic designing platforms used to create presentations, social media posts, posters, thumbnails, and marketing material. It has become a go-to tool for students, creators, freelancers, and business professionals. 

Canva confirms issue  

Canva has acknowledged the problem through its official status page. According to the latest update, some users may experience issues accessing designs on the platform.  

The company first said it was investigating the issue and that its teams were looking into the matter.  

The status page update stated:  

“Some users may have issues accessing Canva. Our teams are urgently looking into this and we will provide an update soon.”  

A few minutes later, Canva confirmed that it had identified the cause of the issue and engineers were working on a fix.  

The company said:  

“The issue has been identified and our engineers are working to implement a fix.” 

What users can do  

While Canva has now been fixed and is working fine for several users, many might still be facing problems with the platform. 

If Canva is not loading properly, users can check the official status page for the latest updates. While some users may be able to regain access by refreshing the page or trying again later, the problem appears to be linked to Canva’s servers rather than individual devices or internet connections. 

Canva has acknowledged the issue and has fixed the service. If users are still facing issues, they may wait till all services return to normal.

After spending time with it, what stands out isn’t the AI branding or the marketing around NPUs and TOPS. Instead, it’s how balanced the overall experience feels.

Design & Build: Premium Without Looking Flashy

The OmniBook Ultra immediately gives off premium ultrabook vibes.

The chassis is crafted from aluminium and feels impressively rigid despite its slim profile. HP claims the laptop passes multiple MIL-STD durability tests, and while most users won’t actively test that, the solid construction inspires confidence. What I appreciate most is the restraint. There are no flashy design elements, unnecessary RGB lights, or aggressive styling cues. HP has kept things clean and professional. Whether you’re carrying it into a boardroom, a coffee shop, or a creator workspace, it fits in naturally.

At around 1.27kg, portability is excellent. Throw it into a backpack and you’ll barely notice the weight. The Stone Blue finish is particularly attractive, offering a subtle personality without being distracting. HP has also added an anti-fingerprint coating, which genuinely helps keep the laptop looking cleaner over time.

Display: Easily One of the Highlights

The display is where the OmniBook Ultra starts to justify its premium positioning.

HP offers a gorgeous 14’’ OLED touchscreen panel with up to 3K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass protection, and full DCI-P3 colour coverage. The moment you power it on, the difference is obvious. Colours look vibrant without feeling exaggerated. Blacks are properly deep, HDR content looks fantastic, and text appears razor sharp. The 120Hz refresh rate also adds a layer of smoothness that becomes difficult to give up once you’re used to it. Everything from scrolling webpages to navigating Windows feels more fluid. The touchscreen implementation is also surprisingly useful during everyday use. Whether it’s quickly navigating presentations, browsing, or media consumption, touch support adds convenience without feeling gimmicky.

That said, there is one compromise.

Like most glossy OLED displays, reflections can become noticeable in brightly lit environments. The panel gets bright enough to compensate for most situations, but if you frequently work outdoors or under harsh lighting, you’ll notice it.

Performance: Fast, Responsive and Efficient

Depending on the configuration, the OmniBook Ultra is available with either Intel Core Ultra processors or Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 chips, with HP positioning it heavily as an AI PC. HP claims up to 85 TOPS of NPU performance on Snapdragon variants and even higher combined AI performance on Intel configurations.

Thankfully, the real-world experience is much more important than the marketing numbers. In day to day usage, the laptop feels extremely responsive. Multiple Chrome tabs, video meetings, office work, content creation, presentations and multitasking are handled effortlessly. Applications launch quickly, animations remain smooth and the laptop rarely feels stressed during normal productivity workloads. Thermals are also surprisingly controlled for such a thin machine. HP’s vapor chamber cooling solution does a respectable job of keeping temperatures in check.

No, this isn’t a gaming laptop or a mobile workstation designed for heavy rendering workloads. But for the audience HP is targeting, the performance feels more than adequate.

AI Features: Useful More Than Revolutionary

Like every premium laptop launched recently, AI is a major talking point. HP includes several AI-powered features, including webcam enhancements, posture monitoring, noise reduction, AI-assisted productivity tools and Windows Copilot integration.

One feature I found genuinely interesting is HP’s posture monitoring system, which uses the IR camera to remind users when they’re sitting incorrectly for long periods. Is it life-changing? Probably not. But it is the kind of thoughtful feature that feels more practical than many AI gimmicks currently flooding the market.

Battery Life: A Major Strength

Battery life is easily one of the OmniBook Ultra’s strongest selling points. HP has equipped the laptop with a 70kWh battery and makes some extremely ambitious battery life claims depending on the configuration. While real world numbers naturally vary, the overall battery performance is genuinely impressive for a thin OLED ultrabook. Even during heavier productivity days, the laptop feels dependable enough to comfortably get through a full workday. Fast charging support is another welcome addition. HP claims around 50% charge in roughly 45 minutes. The compact USB-C GaN charger also deserves credit for being travel friendly.

Keyboard, Trackpad and Audio:

The keyboard feels well thought out. Key travel is comfortable, spacing is generous and typing sessions remain comfortable even after several hours. Writers, students and office users will have very little to complain about here.

The haptic touchpad is another highlight. It feels smooth, accurate and responsive while supporting a range of gesture controls. Audio quality also exceeded expectations.
The quad-speaker setup tuned by Poly Studio delivers clear vocals, decent bass and enough volume for media consumption without immediately reaching for headphones.

Ports & Connectivity: The Biggest Compromise

This is probably the area where some buyers will have concerns.

HP has gone all-in on USB-C. You get three high-speed USB-C ports along with modern wireless connectivity like Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, which keeps the laptop future-ready.

However, there is no USB-A port, no HDMI port and no SD card slot. For some users, this won’t matter. For photographers, content creators and professionals who still rely on older accessories, it likely means carrying a dongle or hub regularly. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s worth knowing before you buy.

Pricing: The Real Challenge

The HP OmniBook Ultra starts at approximately ₹1,89,999 lakh in India depending on the configuration and processor variant. And honestly, that’s where the real challenge begins.
At this price point, HP isn’t just competing against Windows laptops. It’s competing against premium MacBooks, ASUS Zenbook models, Lenovo Yoga devices and several other high end ultrabooks. The good news is that the OmniBook Ultra has enough strengths to justify being part of that conversation.
The question is whether those strengths matter enough for your workflow.

Final Verdict

The HP OmniBook Ultra isn’t perfect. The glossy OLED panel can be reflective. The port selection feels limited. And buyers considering the Snapdragon version should still double-check compatibility for specialized software.

But beyond those concerns, HP has created something genuinely impressive. The display looks fantastic, performance feels quick, battery life is strong, build quality is excellent and the overall user experience feels polished. Most importantly, it doesn’t feel like an AI laptop pretending to be a premium ultrabook. It feels like a premium ultrabook that simply happens to have powerful AI capabilities.

You can now interact with Siri through a dedicated interface, continue previous conversations, and ask follow-up questions naturally.

The assistant is also integrated directly into Spotlight. This means you can simply start typing a query, and macOS will automatically route it to Siri when needed. Apple is also allowing Siri to understand files and documents more intelligently. You can right-click on a file, or even select multiple files, and ask Siri questions based on their contents. For example, Siri can compare documents, summarise information, or help identify key differences between files.

Apple says Siri can also assist with writing, proofreading, and drafting content across apps such as Mail and Messages.

Apple Intelligence expands across Mac

Apple is also bringing a major upgrade to Apple Intelligence. The tech giant revealed a new AI architecture developed in collaboration with Google’s Gemini technologies. Apple says the new system improves reasoning, language understanding, image analysis, and image generation capabilities.

At the same time, Apple continues to emphasise privacy. According to Apple, most requests are processed on-device, while more demanding tasks use Private Cloud Compute without exposing user data.

What else is new?

Apple is also making a number of smaller improvements throughout macOS 27. The Liquid Glass interface introduced last year is getting refinements after user feedback. Users can now adjust transparency levels, while interface elements such as windows, sidebars, and toolbars have been redesigned to improve readability.

Apple says several under-the-hood optimisations have also been made to improve responsiveness and overall system performance.

Siri conversation history is also synced through iCloud, meaning you can begin a conversation on an iPhone and continue it later on an iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch.
• Siri is everywhere: The assistant now lives inside the Dynamic Island, allowing you to quickly search or start conversations with a swipe. Siri is also becoming smarter across Mac, CarPlay, AirPods, Apple Watch, and iPad. On Mac, you can even ask Siri to compare files or answer questions about selected documents.

• Siri inside the Camera app too: Meanwhile, a new Siri mode inside the Camera app can recognise objects and information in real time. Apple demonstrated Siri scanning a restaurant bill and helping you split payments with friends.

• Siri is more personal: Apart from new AI capabilities, Apple says Siri now sounds more natural and expressive. The assistant can also adapt to how you communicate. When drafting messages or emails, Siri can tailor responses based on the person you’re talking to and your usual writing style.

When will the new Siri be available?

Apple says developers can start testing the upgraded Siri from today, while a public beta is expected later this year. Apple has also confirmed that Siri AI will be available free with the new software update, although there will be some daily usage limits. Users who subscribe to iCloud+ will get additional usage.

There are a few regional restrictions, though. Siri AI will not be available on iPhone and iPad in the European Union at launch. In China, Apple says the feature will remain unavailable for now as it works through regulatory requirements.

iOS 27 availability

The newly revealed garment is called the Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment. It is designed as an inner layer that astronauts wear beneath their spacesuits. Developed alongside Houston-based space company Axiom Space, the suit features built-in ventilation tubes designed to help regulate body temperature during missions.

At first glance, it may not look anything like a typical Prada product. But the company says its experience with materials, design and manufacturing helped contribute to the project. Speaking at the unveiling, Prada’s Chief Marketing Officer Lorenzo Bertelli said the company has expertise that can be applied beyond traditional fashion products.

Interestingly, Prada’s space ambitions didn’t begin this year. Back in 2024, the luxury brand partnered with Axiom Space on a spacesuit project intended for NASA’s Artemis missions. Those missions are expected to play a key role in returning humans to the Moon later this decade.

Why is a luxury brand interested in space?

That’s probably the first question many people will ask. One reason is visibility. Space missions attract global attention, and being associated with future Moon missions gives brands a chance to be part of that conversation. Just like iPhone? The recent Artemis II mission took iPhone in space to capture shots by astronauts. 

Well, another factor for Prada in space could be the growing interest in commercial space travel. Companies such as SpaceX and Blue Origin continue to push space tourism, creating a completely new market that luxury brands may want to explore.

For Prada, it will be a major step to position the company as a brand that looks beyond traditional fashion.

And, Prada is not the only company exploring space-related products. Sportswear brands have already experimented with space partnerships, while other apparel companies have worked on specialised fabrics and materials designed for use beyond Earth.

However, luxury fashion operates a little differently. Most high-end brands prefer creating their own identity rather than following competitors. So even if other luxury houses decide to enter the space sector, they will likely take a different route.
