Hoymiles has launched the V2X DC Charger that works seamlessly with the HiOne All-in-One BESS, extending its home energy ecosystem into electric mobility. This allows solar, battery storage, EVs and the grid to work as one integrated energy system, giving homeowners greater control over how they generate, store and use energy.

Turning EVs into Flexible Energy Resources

The V2X DC Charger is equipped with bi-directional charging capabilities, allowing an EV to become an active additional energy resource for the home. It can provide backup power when the grid is unavailable through Vehicle-to-Home (V2H), while enabling households to participate in peak shaving and virtual power plant (VPP) dispatch via Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G).

Unlike an AC-coupled charger that requires the vehicle's OBC for DC/AC conversion, the Hoymiles V2X charger enables direct DC charging from PV and battery storage to the EV. This bypasses OBC and eliminates unnecessary AC/DC conversion, thus reducing energy losses during charging.

With up to 22 kW of DC charging power, the V2X DC Charger significantly cuts charging time compared with traditional AC charging. In one hour, a conventional AC charger can add approximately 35 km of driving range, while Hoymiles' V2X can deliver approximately 110 km.

EverNitro turned heads at CES 2026 in January with a direct answer to the biggest friction point in home nitro coffee: the cost and waste of disposable cartridges. The device uses pressure swing adsorption (PSA) molecular sieve technology to extract up to 95% pure nitrogen directly from ambient air, so there are no disposable cartridges to buy, store, or throw away.

Master Scale, debuting on the IFA show floor alongside EverNitro, is a smart coffee scale with a full-colour OLED display and three dedicated brewing modes: Manual Pour-Over, Guided Pour-Over, and Espresso. Its "Brew Assist" guided mode pairs on-screen prompts with built-in brewing profiles developed by coffee champions, walking users through pour-over technique step by step via a real-time Brew Curve Display. The scale is accurate to 0.1g with one-touch calibration.

The two products are the first entries in what Xbrew is building as a full-scenario smart beverage ecosystem.

"There's a reason most people still can't get café-quality nitro or a properly textured cocktail at home. The equipment is expensive, messy, or locked behind professional know-how. Protecting User Privacy by Design

iKairos incorporates both physical and software-based privacy protections throughout the system. These include a physical camera shutter, privacy indicator light, and manual mute button, giving users clear visibility into when the device is capturing audio or visual information and direct control over its sensors.

Voice detection and capture controls are handled locally on-device. When cloud processing is required, data is uploaded in accordance with the user's privacy settings and authorization. However, data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Behind the scenes, user data is not used to train the underlying AI model.
