Coco Robotics, one of the largest sidewalk delivery operators across the U.S. and Europe, and Deliveroo, a brand within DoorDash's global portfolio, are set to bring robot deliveries to towns and cities across the UK through a new strategic partnership.

Coco Robotics will launch in multiple locations, beginning with Canary Wharf in London this October, before launching in Milton Keynes, Leeds, Stockton on Tees and Nottingham in the coming weeks and months.

The launches have been welcomed by local authorities across the UK in a positive sign of support for the innovative new service and job creation the partnership will bring. Coco is also in discussions with other councils across both London and the UK.

Consumers will initially be able to order from the likes of Patty&Bun, independent family-run brands like bakery Signorelli and cafe and restaurant Beam, in Wood Wharf, Canary Wharf, before the service area expands to include a wider pool of merchants at a later stage, including Ole & Steen, Royal China and Din Tai Fung. In Milton Keynes, consumers will be able to order from Smoke and Pepper amongst others when the service rolls out.

The multi-city rollout marks Coco's entry into the UK, extending the company's broader expansion across Europe. The agreement for the 737 MAX order was finalized in the presence of His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, president of the Republic of Türkiye.

Turkish Airlines purchased 100 737-8 airplanes and secured options for 50 more 737 MAX jets, making this the airline's largest Boeing single-aisle order. The agreement includes substitution rights for the 737-10, the largest 737 MAX variant, so Turkish Airlines can comfortably serve more passengers on more routes to meet growing demand.

World Winery Map Digitizes 4.3 Million Vineyards and Their Terroir Data Amid Climate Change

As climate change rapidly redraws the historical boundaries of global viticulture, satellite topographical measurements and climate indices are now freely accessible on the most comprehensive wine map in history.

WorldWineryMap has officially launched, introducing a massive interactive database of global wine terroir that maps 4,303,693 vineyards and 104,330 wineries across 90 countries. For every single vineyard on the map, users can access highly specific geospatial data, including elevation, solar radiation, and slope, alongside critical viticultural metrics like soil composition, the Huglin index, and average temperatures during the vine growing season.

"For each parcel, we extracted the exact coordinates and calculated the elevation, slope, and aspect using the Copernicus GLO-30 terrain model, then layered climate data on top of that," said Matija Gavrilovic, founder of World Winery Map. "For larger parcels, we measure up to 16 control points, which is why elevation is presented as a precise range rather than a single number. We also calculated the slope, rainfall, wind, soil type, and geology wherever data was available."

The vineyard parcels are aggregated from 38 independent sources. Twenty-two are official government registers, accounting for 3,824,217 of the mapped plots. Data coverage is densest in the European Union, where such registers are public domain. In other regions, vineyard data is sourced from national agricultural censuses, satellite land cover analytics, and other unofficial sources.

The map outlines 98,719 specific wine region boundaries, scaling from massive macro-regions down to individual named plots. This includes 2,815 official wine regions, subregions, and appellations, alongside 95,904 named vineyard sites. The platform is tailored for both industry professionals and wine travelers. An integrated geolocation system allows users to instantly locate nearby wineries and receive navigation instructions to the estate, regardless of where they are in the world.

Crucially, wine areas are recorded using the exact boundaries and legal nomenclature designated by their respective nations. This includes INAO delimitations in France, AVA borders in the U.S., Wine Australia's Geographical Indications, ministerial decrees in Spain, Chile, and Romania, state geoportals for Austrian Rieden and German Weinlagen, as well as national regulations in Croatia, Hungary, and Slovenia. Users can select any region to read essential facts, review borders, check average rainfall and elevation, and analyze viticultural data like the Winkler index. World Winery Map is already in touch with official bodies in several countries, with the aim of keeping the map as accurate as possible.

The platform is expected to utilize NVIDIA Hyperion, a production-ready autonomous vehicle reference architecture and development platform that combines high-performance compute with a standardized sensor suite.

The partnership will be led by Bolt Autonomous Driving Solutions, the company's dedicated autonomous-driving unit, which co-designs, integrates, and commercializes autonomous mobility in Europe. Bolt's role will extend from product development through to commercial operation. The company will help define vehicle requirements, as well as software, safety, and rider-experience parameters for autonomous vehicles operating on its platform. Additionally, it will build the fleet infrastructure, operating systems, and city partnerships needed to deploy them at scale. It intends to own and operate the fleet.

2026 Fortune 500 Europe List Revealed

Fortune unveiled the Fortune 500 Europe ranking for 2026, highlighting the continent's top companies. The launch will be marked at the bell opening of the London Stock Exchange. Volkswagen maintains its lead position, with revenues up 3%, widening the gap with Shell, whose revenues fell 5%.

For the first time in the list's four-year history, Germany no longer contributes the most companies to the list. The UK takes the lead with 76 companies, followed by Germany with 73 and France with 66.

Profit growth returned to the Fortune 500 Europe companies after a 5% decline the previous year, with profits increasing by 3% to just over $1 trillion. Overall, revenues grew by 4% to $15.5 trillion, equivalent to half of the region's GDP and 13% of world GDP. The overall profit margin shrank again, to 6.5%, down from the high of 7.1% for the 2024 list. Cost control is reflected in the combined employment figure for the 500, which shrank by 1% to 34.6 million, pushing up revenue per employee by 5% and profit per employee by 4%.

At the top, Volkswagen reported $363 billion in revenue, while FMS Wertmanagement Group closes the list at #500 with $7.4 billion, pushing the list's lower threshold to over $7 billion for the first time. HSBC again tops profits, with over $22 billion in 2025 – one of only 25 firms over $10 billion.

The number of women CEOs has risen further to 43, the highest for Fortune 500 Europe, and total revenues for women-led firms increased by 24% to $1.2 billion. Some 8.6% of companies are led by women – fewer than one in ten and below the 11% representation in the U.S.-based Fortune 500. BP (#4), led by Meg O'Neill, is the only woman-led company in the top 10, and with Engie (#39), one of two in the top 50.
