touchscreen mobile devices.

Android is an open source this code
released by Google under Apache License. Open source is a free code
someone can access the code and develop their own code and create
applications.
Firstly we have to know how to develop first android application.
For this we have to follow a scenario, mandatory we need some
software applications,

Download Android SDK (Software Development Kit)

If you will use Eclipse IDE, then you have to install ADT
Pligin (Android Development Tools)

By using SDK Manager you have to download the latest SDK
Tools

It is very easy by creating the android application using Eclipse
IDE, otherwise we have to use command line tools to do an android
application.

Here I have given how to develop an android application by using
Eclipse IDE.
Before we are going to start first we have to install Android SDK
and ADT Plug-in, then we follow some procedure,

Click New in the toolbar.

After clicking on new, we select Android folder and
select Android Application Project and click Next.

After clicking on Next one window “New Android
Application” appears, in that there are some options are
available, those are:

Application Name:

We have to write the name of the application, this name is
visible to users.

Project Name:

We have to set a name of the project this is acts as a root
directory of your project.

Package Name:

Package contains set of classes, so for your project you have to
create one package is that follow the Java Progrmming Language
instructions because android is developed by using Java Programming
Language. We have to select unique name for your package, for example
com.example.UniqueName

Minimum Required SDK:

It is the minimum
required SDK that support for your application. If you want to
support all the devices, then you need to select minimum SDk for
your application.

Target SDK:

It is the highest version of your
Android that set for your Application.

Compile With:

By using which version you have to
compile your application. By defaultly it takes latest versions. If
there is no availability, then you select older version that
supports for your application.

Theme:

It is the UI (User Interface), in
which style you to apply your app.

After Completion of all the things
click on Next. Then one window will be appearing in that
window you have to choose an option default settings and click Next.

Next you set your application icon
click on Next. Then you select an activity template like Blank
Activity then click on Next. This is the way you have to
create application and start your project programming.

These commands can be beneficiary for solving threats of troubleshooting in windows 7. Few of them are listed below,
1)sfc /scan now (System File Checker)

On accessing this command we can run system file checker and verification of windows system files. Now a day’s several malicious applications are available to manipulate the system control.
2) sigverif (Signature Verification)

This command is useful in verifying entire system files which are digitally signed resulting in enhancing the integrity of system. With file signature verification tool we can cross check the all system files. This tool is extracted from the command prompt but it depends on GUI interface, so all operations are executed quickly.
3) driverquery (Driver Query)

This command illustrates the entire driver list installed on your system. And you can trace out if any driver is malfunctioned to improve the performance of a system. Some options are available to give more info
i)	driverquery – V

ii)	driverquery – si

By using those options, we can find the signature information of the drivers.

4) nslookup hostname

This is used check DNS (Domain Name System) name resolution functionalities. This tool solves many issues of Trouble shooting and other legacy DNS Records that still exist. Instead of host name you specify the host address.
5) Ping IPAddress

This command is required to monitor the TCP/IP network connection. This command works only when ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol) protocol is passed between two systems. In contrast, if your firewall gets blocked, this command malfunctions.

In the relevant way in typical situations if ping fails then pathping is utilized , it is developed mainly for several routers exists between hosts, syntax of the command is similar to ping, i.e.: pathping IPAddress
6) ipconfig

If you need to view or change your IPAddress use ipconfig command.

a) ipconfig /all

This command is used to view a full system IP Configuration in your system.

b) ipconfig /release

c) ipconfig /renew

If you have DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) deployed in your system then you can release and renew your IP Address by using the above commands.

7) Repair-bde

If your drive gets encrypted by using bit locker, if you’re facing any issues to recover the data then repair-bde command is used it has two attributes “-rkey” and”-rpassword”. And you must specify the source and destination drives. Syntax is,

Repair-bde <source drive/path> <destination drive/path> -rkey | -rpassword

8) tasklist

This command is used to give the list of services that are running on your computer. This acts like a Task Manager.

Suppose if you wish to terminate a process in your system then taskkill command is required. Syntax is,

taskkill service name | process id name.

9) System info|more

To generate the text summary of your system we use System info|more command.

And also make sure that your computer has enough space to install Ubuntu (it requires 4.8GB of free space).

Step 1:

There are 2 possible ways to install Ubuntu Operating System,

1) Using a DVD

2) Using a USB drive

We can easily install Ubuntu from a DVD. With deploying simple steps to install Ubuntu,

Put the DVD Disk into the DVD Drive and restart your computer. After restarting it prompts “Press any Key to boot from CD/DVD” you press any key from the keyboard then it prompt a welcome screen to choose your language and then click on “install Ubuntu”.

If you want to setup Ubuntu from USB, make sure that your USB drive is Bootable USB Drive. Put USB into USB Ports and restart your computer. After restarting the computer that asks for language selection then click on “installs Ubuntu”.

Step 2:

After clicking on “install Ubuntu”. It prompts a window showing “preparing to install Ubuntu”. If your system is connected to the internet you select “Download Updates while installing” and “install this third party software”.

If you are not connected to the internet that is asking to set up a wireless network. If it is available you select the wireless network otherwise you select “I don’t want select Wi-Fi network right now”.

Step 3:

Many of people don’t know how to lock a drive in windows 7 without using software (third party controllers). There are so many ways to lock a drive here I have given a simple procedure to lock the drive without accessing any software.

Step 1:

First open Run command by pressing “Windows symbol + R”. Then you type “gpedit.msc” in the run command. i.e., “Group Policy Editor”. By using this we can able to edit local group policies like altering the permissions of user control.

Step 2:

After hitting the command then we can access the “Local Group Policy Editor” window. By using this we can change configurations of the computer and as well as user.

1) Computer Configuration

2) User Configuration

Step 3:

Now you select “User Configuration” to modify the drive permissions.
Go to “user configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Explorer”
After clicking these, there are several lists of the things we appear. In that you select,
“Prevent access to drive from my computer”

Step 4:

Now we have to double click on “Prevent access to drive from my computer”. Then one window appears named “prevent access to drive from my computer “

Step 5:

In that window there are three options. Those are,

1) Not Configured

2) Enabled

3) Disable

By default this is marked as “Not Configured”.

If you want to lock the drive you need to select “Enable” option. And in bottom of the window you will have some options. On which drive you need to lock, select the drive and click on “Apply” then click on “OK”.
