For in App Promo have done a study using surveys of mobile application developers and got a very revealing data as it shows that most developers do not even get back what you invested in developing the application.

And to illustrate this information they have created an infographic called “ Wake up call ”:

These are the hard facts that we can see:

80% of developers does not recover their investment.

59% of applications do not generate any profit.

68% have invested $ 5,000 or less with their most successful application.

63% of developers have less than 50,000 downloads for their successful application.

52% spent less than 5% of the time in promoting apps.

52% spent $ 0 on marketing.

Although we also see some data are less successful and failures, but not all doom and gloom, because as we can see a point less exploited is the marketing application. For it App Promo have also created a guide called “The Necessity of Mobile App Marketing: What It Really Takes to Succeed with a Mobile App”.

Its use is simple, so we have to do is select the CD from which the file we want to recover, then select where you want to save and select the files and folders to recover.

If you have a problem with any optical storage device with this application you can fix them quickly and easily. We cannot recover the contents of the CD unless it is damaged on the region where the particular file is stored.

The CD Recovery Toolbox Free tool scans any CD and DVD disks and finds files and folders located there. We should mention that there can be some information on the disk that cannot berecovered. Not all of the files and folders can be found – that depends on the degree and location of the damage. Therefore, the CD Recovery Toolbox Free tool finds the possible maximum amount of information. After that, it shows a list of all files and folders available for recovery. Now the user can select the files and folders to be recovered. Those specific objects will be recovered while the others will be ignored. The program recovers the maximum amount of information in the damaged file. This reduces the risk of data loss considerably.

Main features of CD Recovery Toolbox:

Recovering information from any CD and DVD disks

Recovering files larger than 4 Gb

Detecting possible lack of free space on the hard disk for storing the recovered files

CD Recovery Toolbox Free is absolutely free. Anyone can install it on the computer and use the program as much as you like it. This fact is one of its main advantages over the rival software. Moreover, the functionality of the tool is equal to that of most paid software.

As for the fact that practically every PC user needs a tool for recovering information from CD and DVD disks, there is no doubt about it. As you know, these storage media are the most widely spread nowadays. They are rather capacious, all-purpose, durable and, what’s important, inexpensive. The problem is – they aren’t very reliable. A small scratch can result in a failure to read the information recorded on the disk. And the ways you can get this scratch are numerous – for example, the disk can fall down or suffer from careless handling.

So far we have the news that the user would have the option of highlighting their status, both text or image, which would differ from the rest by having a yellow background . This would allow the post to get much attention in the news section of each of our friends.

The prominent location of this state is not yet sure if it is known that the company reserves the top spots for sponsored stories, so one might assume that occupy a third or fourth .

“We are constantly testing new features on the site. This particular test is simply to gauge the interest of people in this way to share with their friends, “said Garlick.Facebook was trialling the feature at a range of different price points, including offering it free. If this new feature finally works, surely Facebook will be adding lots of $ to their account .

The question is, this feature might generate conflicts? For example, what if we decided to hide updates from a friend and he pays $ 2 to highlight their status. Do we like that? And on the other hand, assuming that this feature would be available only to users, and not for pages, wont it be possible that companies will start using user profiles for their ads?

Personally, I don’t like this idea. I think the Facebook timeline would end by becoming a tremendous mess of different states and colors, plus the problems that could be generated, as mentioned above and full of advertising.

It lets you make USB Bootble in just 3 steps as shown below

Just run the application, Select the USB, Select the ISO file, Click do it and you are done!

You can see its comparison with other USB Boot Disk Maker, and it shows that its one of the best Bootable disk maker for windows 7 available in market.

This tool can only support the NTFS partition format, so if you have FAT32 you will also need to confirm a quick format.

Another great thing about WiNToBootic is the fact that this application doesn’t need to be installed in order to run, thus allowing you to take it with you and go help out a friend in need, whenever you feel like it.

Summing up, WiNToBootic is an awesome application that truly represents the ultimate way to create Windows USB Boot Disks.

The video game Call of Duty and its versions are one of the most successful games ever. After the successful launch of Modern Warfare 3 in November last year (which generated proceeds of 400 million dollars in just 24 hours), Activision has a new title and we can see that next week.

The newest member of the Call of Duty series will be introduced worldwide on May 1, during the telecast of the NBA Playoffs. This was confirmed through the official website of the Game, which now shows a countdown clock till that date.

A peculiarity of this page is that it includes 14 “classified documents” to be unveiled before the deadline arrives. Clearly the intent of the creators of the series is to provide insights of the game. The biggest rumours were of the release of Black Ops 2.

A few days ago was leaked on the web, a poster with the seal of Activision and Treyarch would belong to the sequel to the hit title released in November 2010. So far there are not many more details, so you have to wait until next week for news.

Recall that, thanks to its 25 million copies sold, Call of Duty: Black Ops is considered the best selling video game of all time in the U.S., UK and the rest of Europe. Will it be overtaken by the new version?

This option allows users to buy minutes, talk or text however much they want, and then buy more minutes when needed. There are no monthly payments and no hidden fees.

There are plenty of perks associated with T-Mobile’s pay-as-you-go phones. The phones free users from having to sign a contract and there is no credit check required. There is national coverage with no roaming charges and 24/7 customer care. Other features include voicemail, caller ID and call waiting.

Additional services include international calling, texting and roaming. Directory assistance, including 411 and more, is available for $1.99 per call, plus airtime. Ringtones and wallpaper can also be downloaded for fees started at $1.49.

Refills for T-Mobile pay-as-you-go minutes can be purchased in $10, $25, $50 or $100 denominations. Access to prepaid service is available for 90 days from the date you applied a $10, $25 or $50 refill, or one year if you applied a $100 refill. T-Mobile will send customers a text message when they have less than five days of access remaining.

Refills are sold at more than 90,000 locations. In addition to being sold at T-Mobile retail stores and authorized dealers, stores such as Costco, Circle K, 7-Eleven, Target, Wal-Mart and Walgreens carry refills as well. Customers can also buy refills on the T-Mobile website.

It’s no surprise that existing dating websites have hopped on the bandwagon to create apps that allow their users to reply to messages and modify profiles directly from their cell phones. Other companies have decided to take a shot at creating mobile apps for potential daters, making dating in the digital age as easy as ever. The following apps are some of the most popular available.

OkCupid

OkCupid is a popular dating site with a clean and bright layout. It is renown for its quiver matching system, profile questions and in-depth profile format. OkCupid offers an app for iOS and Android users, too, which allows them to sign on and reply to messages or even chat in real time with potential matches. The app uses the pink and blue colors as the site.

Speed Date

Speed Dates focuses on getting to know a person and feeling out chemistry in just five minutes. Impatient daters might find this app useful, because it doesn’t involve a lot of back-and-forth messages over days or even weeks. Instead, Speed Date gives users just five minutes to make a connection or forget about it. This app is available for Android and Apple devices, as well as on Facebook.

Skout

The focus of Skout is finding daters nearby, so that users can meet up and start dating in person. Skout works best for users in urban areas with high populations, because more potential daters are available to talk and meet for coffee or lunch. Skout facilitates traditional dating, unlike some online dating sites that move more of the relationship into the digital cloud.

Flirtomatic

When chatting is all the user wants to do — for now — she can register with Flirtomatic for free. Unlike many apps, this is available across a variety of operating systems, including Apple, Android, BlackBerry and even Nokia. Because live chatting requires and active connections, it won’t work during a BlackBerry service outage, however. Still, Flirtomatic includes cool features like the ability to save another person’s profile as a favorite.

Of course, these are just a few of the dating apps available. It seems like new ones become available every day and some apps cater to very specific clientele so, as they say, the user’s mileage will vary.

There’s no release date yet but a customer preview version of Microsoft’s newest version of its popular OS became available on February 29. Are you thinking about upgrading? Do you want to try Windows 8 but don’t know where to start? Here are our first impressions and some things to know to help you get going.

Essentials

Metro: The new “Metro” interface is a major change from the interface style Microsoft has used since Windows 95. Instead of looking like Windows always has, it resembles the tiled design of a Windows phone. Or maybe even an iPhone. Apps are pinned to the desktop for easy access.

Windows Store: Again, a concept borrowed from Apple. Metro applications will be available from Windows’ own online store.

No Metro: One app available for oldtimers is “desktop,” which launches a more traditionally-styled Windows desktop. This can be used to run non-Metro apps, legacy programs and non-Metro versions of Metro apps like Internet Explorer 10.

Interface: Built to resemble touch-screen phones, Windows 8 can be manipulated by hand on tablets, touch-screen PCs and similar devices. It works just fine with a keyboard and mouse, too, so your desktop or laptop deals with the OS the same way a tablet will.

Changes

Windows Explorer: Microsoft extended its “ribbon” functionality found in Office 10 to Windows Explorer. File browsing has been redesigned around this interface change, so it’s much easier to find common file manipulation activities. For example, photo manipulation tools pop up right on the ribbon if there are JPGs in a given folder.

Passwords: Users now have the option of using a four-digit PIN or use touch-screen picture passwords to log in.

Task Manager: A new version of Task manager hides the “Processes” and “Performance” tabs, giving users access to only “Applications” by default. The old version is accessible, though, by typing “taskmgr” at a run prompt.

Cool Additions

Restore Options: Two new functions, “Reset” and “Refresh” give users full control over recovery without. Refresh essentially reinstall Windows without the need for a disk or heavy interaction. Reset keeps user files and only removes apps and changes to Windows.

Windows to Go: Users will be able to create bootable USB drives that includes the OS, settings, apps and files for access anywhere.

Mounting ISOs: Windows finally natively supports ISO and other image file formats. Users can now mount ISOs right from a right-click context menu.

Virtual Machine Support: Windows 8 also comes with Hyper-V, Microsoft’s Vmware competitor. Want to run separate virtual machines, maybe a Windows XP box? Try it here.

The Verdict

This is the biggest Microsoft OS change since Windows 95. Is it worth it? Based on our impressions of the customer preview edition, it definitely is. Fire up one of your old laptops or desktops and give it a spin. If your old hardware won’t run it, there are plenty of desktop and laptop deals out there that won’t break the bank. The new Metro interface is simple and intuitive and the new features will make longtime Windows fans very happy. It might take some getting used to, but Windows 8 is definitely worth a try.
