Maintenance expenses are a factor worth considering. The low price of the vehicle is often the chief factor in the purchase. Affordable transportation is seen as the better “buy” that expensive transportation. However, what does not bite now may sting later: an inexpensive form of transportation (according to the price tag) may turn out to be a “cash-guzzler” later. If left to choose between an expensive price tag in the beginning or an expensive price tag at the end, which would you choose? That depends in a large part on the quality of the vehicle you hope to drive.
