They have outsourced the job because the work done by us is 10 times cheaper price than they&amp;#39;ll have to pay in Australia. I would also like to add that I have also done a lot of bartering on craigslist.org and dibspace.com.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Having outsourced approximately 200 hours ranging from $3 - $12 I found that dealing with a person directly is better than dealing with a middle man.  On the other side, the middle man may have other resources that can pick up the work if someone calls in sick or a family emergency occurs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What is important is to set clear expectations from the get go and to collaborate locally and internationally. I run two small companies (CareerCup.com and SeattleAntiFreeze.com), so I outsource a web design, web development, content editing and a large variety of other tasks.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have hired some people from the US, but it&amp;#39;s unusual. From what I&amp;#39;ve heard, the specialized remote assistant shops are pretty pricey.  I just look on odesk.com and hire people myself. All else being equal, I might prefer that as well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;17 year olds, unfortunately, make stupid decisions.  If forced to ask for permission for emergency contraception (EC), the majority will just "chance it" instead.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you agree with my assessment of 17 year olds, then please tell me which of these two situations you prefer:&lt;br /&gt;1) A 17 year old does not take EC and instead often gets pregnant&lt;br /&gt;2) A 17 year old takes EC without her parents' permission and does not get pregnant.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Being very opposed to unplanned teenage pregnancies, I'm obviously going to have to go with option #2. I would add that condoms are available to everyone and that plan B is a responsible back-up method in case of a condom breaking. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't even see it as a 'major decision'. "Ummm, the condom just broke. Let's get plan B." There is no thought to it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The assumption that you can see a doctor, affordably, in the US health system is a complete joke within the 72 hour timeframe is incorrect.
