The Toshiba Lighting & Technology Corporation released a newly designed LED light bulb which has a total flux as that of a 60 W incandescent lamp. It contains a large LED measuring 15X15 mm with fluxes of 810 lm and 610 lm. The main feature of this bulb is its elongated chassis of 119 mm which is more than that of the previous product with 109 mm. This elongated chassis helps to expand the radiating area. The new light bulb design disperses more than a hundred LED chips in a large package to prevent heat from concentrating. The total flux of this bulb is 1.5 times higher than that of the company’s previous product.
Even though Google search engine is the best search engine among the other, their Chrome web browser is not as popular as Mozilla Firefox. Now Google announced that they are starting a new project Google Chrome OS for PCs. They revealed about Google Chrome OS in their Blog. According to Google Blog Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at notebooks. Later this year we will open-source its code, and notebooks running Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010. Google Chrome OS is a windowing system based on Linux kernel. Chrome Operating System works on both x86 as well x64. So you can download Google Chrome OS Code later this year.
