Many users who use windows XP prefers to use classic start menu which has classic style all programs menu. In Windows Vista classic start menu is optionally available for use. But in Windows 7 we don't have any option to use classic start menu.So we will try to recreate the classic all programs menu in start menu of windows 7 with help of start menu element Recorded TV which we are not using at all.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

3In Customize Start Menu box scroll down through the list and search for Recorded TV element.Select 'Display as a menu' option in it and close the dialog box using 'OK'.View Step

4Now confirm all the changes by clicking on 'OK' in Start Menu Properties.

5Make sure that hidden files and folders are visible to proceed further so enable it. Read How to show hidden files and folders.

End NOT RESPONDING Programs with Click of a Mouse

Sometimes a program crashes due to some reasons and cause block to other running processes. At this time only way is to use Task Manager and end not responding programs individually. Also we can use command 'taskkill' on command line to stop the process but many of the users are not familiar with the command line commands. So we will create a shortcut for 'taskkill' command with options which will help us to stop the not responding program with click on it.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1Right click on Desktop and go to "New > Shortcut" in context menu.View step

2In the Create Shortcut dialog box enter the following command in the location field

taskkill /f /fi "Status eq NOT RESPONDING"

and click on "Next" to continue.View step

3Now give suitable name to shortcut such as 'End Not Responding Programs' and click on the Finish.View step

4You can also provide icon for the shortcut by Right clicking and selecting properties and click on the "Change Icon..." button in Shortcut tab.View step

Now whenever any program is not responding just double click on the shortcut to stop the particular program. Drag this shortcut in the start menu so it will be more easy access.

2Now in the 'Target' Tab click on the 'Move' and select destination folder where you want to move entire My Documents. View step

3Click on 'OK'.
