Love it or hate it, Internet Explorer is here to stay and Microsoft is gono keep on pushing it into every possible hardware on earth. Its new incarnation Internet Explorer 8 has been doing beta testing rounds for quite a while, but its officially available as of today.

Microsoft has put some real effort this time, I can easily say its by far the fastest Internet Explorer ever. Besides that lots of security and performance issues have been wiped out.

Features Overview:

Faster Internet Explorer 8 is more responsive with new pages and tabs, opening up fast and reliably. You can now get to the information you care about most, in fewer steps; one click access to your webmail, favorite news sites or other online services.

Easier Reduce the steps to accomplish many common tasks, and automate your access to real time information updates. You can keep track of your favorite sports team, news, weather with a single click.

More Private Helps protect your privacy and confidential information where ever you go on the web.

More Secure Helps protect and stop malicious software from reaching your PC, and makes it easier to detect when a website is an imposter.

IE8 is available for Windows XP, Vista and Server 2003 and 2008. I don’t see any links for Windows 7 but it works on it without any problems.

Download Internet Explorer 8

You can download Internet Explorer from the download page link given below.

Korean Movies, compared to the other films that I’ve seen, have a very different feel to it. Every director who makes a Korean film has his own personal touch to the film. Alot of Korean movies are quite unique. I can say so, cause those movies have something that they wanna convey, something that is heart warming, something that makes you go on laughing your head off or makes you go,”….<whimper>….”. Anyway, here is my personal list of Top Five Korean Movies-

My Sassy Girl(2001)- I’ve been seeing this movie on and on and on, and i never get tired of it. I went online and did some research on it and it seems to be quite a popular movie. An all time favorite too. It’s based on a true story, and has been a great hit in South Korea. It’s a story about a college student, Gyeon- woo, who just isn’t doing too well in his love life until he comes across this girl, who is never named throughout the movie.

Gyewon is on the way back home and at the train station, he sees this drunk girl standing precariously at the edge at the platform as the train was coming. He manages to save her at the right moment. Throughout the journey, he can’t help but get amused by watching her swaying. Though he’s a little attracted to her, he’s disgusted ’cause she was drunk.

Now why i like ‘My Sassy Girl’ so much? It’s because of the unpredictability of the movie, the way the two of them acted was so touching, yet funny. There are only two main characters, and they managed to make it as funny and as adorably heartwarming as possible. Definitely a must see.

The Classic(2003): Now, this movie,’ The Classic’, is made using a series of flashbacks, telling the parallel love stories of a mother and her daughter. The movie starts in the present time, where the daughter is cleaning up the house and she comes across a box of letters and a few photos that belonged to her mother. The story then flows into the past from a picture of a boy. The movie switches between the present and the past, showing both the love stories side by side.

It has a unique mix of humor, love, jealousy and friendship. The music for the movie is also quite heart warming, and at certain points, quite tears wrenching. Another must see.

Windstruck(2004): This movie is about a female police officer, Kyung- jin Yeo, who is from the Seoul Police Department. The movie slowly starts with her chasing a purse thief. But at the end of the chase, she captures Myung-woo Go, a physics teacher at an all girls school, who was actually chasing after the thief. Later on, she is then given the job to patrol a dangerous district, where she almost tries to single-handedly take down two dangerous rival gangs. They kinda helped when the two gangs start firing at each other. The first half of the film, told from Myung-woo’s point of view, shows the couple’s growing attraction and love for each other, which ends with a trip to the countryside where Myung-woo tells Kyung-jin that if he were to ever to die, he wanted to come back to earth as the wind.

The movie, then takes a turn into the fantasy genre in its second half, when Myung-woo is accidentally shot and killed by another officer, although the situation is such that Kyung-jin thinks that it was her shot that killed him. Kyung-jin falls into a suicidal depression over his death and attempts to kill herself several times, finally almost succeeding when she throws herself off a building, only to be saved when a giant balloon floats under her. Finally, it winds up like in the American film, Ghost with Myung-woo and Kyung-jin communicating and sharing one final gesture of love before he moves on to the afterlife.

My Tutor Friend(2003): My Tutor Friend is a movie about Kim Ji-Hoon and Choi Su-Wan both 21 years old and studying at the university. Su-Wan is in her second year at university while Ji-Hoon is still in the process of repeating his third year of high school. Su-Wan’s mother works in their family business, selling fried chicken. To help out, Su-Wan earns money by tutoring other children, but often gets fired after hitting the students .Her mother has a rich friend with a son in need of a tutor. The friend, Kim Ji-Hoon’s mother, wants a tutor that will make her son study so that he can pass his exams. This salary is able to pay for an entire semester (half of a school year) of Su-Wan’s college education. Ji-Hoon is always able to attract the girls and draw attention through his love of fighting.

As a child, Ji-Hoon was sent to America to study abroad. Due to this decision of his parents, the relationship between Ji-Hoon and his parents is strained. Ji-Hoon’s Father, Kim Bong-Man threatens to send him back to the USA if he continues to get into trouble with fighting and bad grades. To avoid being sent back to America, Ji-Hoon needs to get at least a 50% on the upcoming mid-term exams. The only problem is that his usual average mark was much lower than that. Will he make it? It’s comedy from beginning to end and it’s definitely a movie worth watching.

100 Days with Mr. Arrogant(2004): This movie is hilarious. Trust me, I’ve seen this over and over and it never fails to crack me up. It’s about a high school student, Ha-Young, who after dumping her boyfriend just before their 100 day anniversary, meets a college guy named Hyung-Joon when she accidentally kicks a can that hits him in the face and causes him to scratch his Lexus. He demands her to pay him $3000 on the spot. She escapes(so fast, she’s literally a blur…well…sort of)leaving her wallet behind.Soon, Hyung-Joon stalks her, demanding money to pay for his car. Since she is a poor high school student, Hyung-Joon writes up a “Enslavement Agreement” for Ha-Young in order to pay for the damage to his car. Ha-Young is thrown into a horrible, nightmarish slave life for 100 days, cleaning his house, running his errands, doing his homework and cleaning his car.By accident she finds out that the damage to Hyung-Joon’s car only costs $10! She then takes her revenge. However, before she knows it Hyung-Joon shows up at her house as her new tutor!
Attempting to get a date can be one of the toughest things that a man can do. It can be rather frustrating for men, cause it’s hard to figure out what women want. Mainly because of the fear of an embarrassing situation that could leave you traumatized for the rest of your life (or for even a shorter period of time) or in fear of rejection. To tell you the truth, any guy can pick up any girl, but a lot of factors depend on how things could go.

One of the most important factors that could make your palms sweaty and your voice sound funny and squeaky and make your knees go so weak that you just have to sit down is lack of confidence. You need to be confident on how you’re going to approach things, what you’re going to say to a girl when you first meet her, your appearance. Some guys are so worried about the way they look that they constantly groom themselves on the move, unaware that a lotta people are watching. Then there is also timing. Timing is also essential for a successful date. But one of the most easiest and fastest way to get a yes from a girl is to know that she is attracted to you. It would really make a lotta difference.

Anyway, here are a few things that you might want to keep in mind before asking a girl out.

1. The initial contact: How to first approach a girl can be a little tricky, because you don’t want to be jumpy or show that you’re tense. Keep your cool and calmly move about. Look for an opportunity for eye contact or common topic that you could talk about and comment something about it. Important thing is to greet her with a smile. While talking to her, reply politely with a smile.

2. Be well groomed: Remember, you don’t have to be the best looking guy in the block, but you do need to show that you care about your appearance. It’s important to wear something that is clean and comfortable and a small dash of cologne and you’re set. Dress enough to impress, whoever that girl might be. Remember, first impressions means everything.

3. Thing about what you’re going to say: It’s best to have something in mind, something to say. Cause if you get too nervous, you might get a sudden speech impediment and and wonder, “what the hell am i saying??”. Complement her. Tell her how nice she is looking. Believe me, girls love to be complemented. Tell her how nice her hair is looking, or how bright her eyes are.

4. Be straightforward and confident: The best way to ask her out would be face to face. If that’s not possible, then the best alternative would be over the phone. Be casual. Talk politely and friendly. If she says yes, then have a plan and keep something interesting in mind. You could suggest an idea that you have. If she says no, keep it cool. Respond as if nothing had ever happened and respond as politely as before. If she says,” …some other time…”, it’s either she’s not interested or she likes you enough as a friend and doesn’t want to hurt your feelings. Accept it as a rejection and move on.

5. Stand by your word and keep only the promises that you can keep: It is very important to fulfill the promises that you make. You tell her something that you’d do for her and you promise her, DO IT. Never be halfhearted with such things. She could be really hurt or offended, knowing the fact that you don’t really care much, trust me.

Remember, be comfortable with what ever you’re doing. Be honest with what you say and what you feel. If you’re out on a date, and you’re feeling nervous, don’t be. Just tell yourself that you’re not nervous, you’re just excited. Give and accept complements. Don’t brush down a complement and pull yourself down. Accept it. Get your knowledge levels up so you know what’s going on around you, cause being stupid just won’t do. Talk to her about your opinions on matters and things around you. Tell her what your ambitions in life are. Believe me, girls like guys who know what they are doing. You have to be confident with what you are doing and what you have to do.

Lastly, never rush things. Women like patient man who are willing to listen to what they have to say. Keep in mind to respect her thoughts and views. If there is something that you don’t agree with, disagree with respect. Say something like,”…i would have to disagree with you on that….respectfully, of course…”. It would be more than enough and it would keep interest levels up for her as well as you.

When the world banking business failed miserably, it sent the world into the midst of an economic crisis. It all began when banks decided to give massive land loans on low interest rates. When the debtors could not write off the mortgage they decided to pull money out from the stock markets and that’s when the problem started. Now we are facing a world filled with expenses with a tight wallet. The crisis will eventually blow over someday but till then, there are ways in which we can be cost effective and save money. Here are five simple things to save money during the crisis.

1. When Possible, avoid you’re car- Try using you’re car less when you can, even though the gas prices are reducing. You can save alot of money on gas and because the car won’t be used as much your can save on maintenance. Walk to nearby places or cycle there or use public transport. It’s not as hard as it sounds, you will get used to it.

2. Cut entertainment expenses- You can save alot of money just by cutting your entertainment expenses. Instead of going out for a movie once a week try borrowing DVD’s from friends or read a book. Avoid going to expensive restaurants or generally eating out. Home cooked meals are more economical and at the same time healthier. Staying at home with family or friends can be equally fun.

3. Save on electricity- Avoid using lights in the daytime when possible. If you want to read a book and the natural lighting of the room is not efficient then you can go out to the balcony (provided the weather is good). When appliances are turned off but unplugged then they still drain electricity. Turn off things such as T.Vs, computer screens, microwaves, mobile chargers etc while not in use. Switch to CFL light bulbs, they are more economical than normal bulbs.

4. Be a smart shopper- If for the time being you can stop buying major labels then do it. Brands such as D&G, Christian Dior, Chanel etc may be high fashion but they are also high priced. Go for normal brands or use what you already have. While shopping at the supermarket look out for value packs or family packs, its not much of a saving but its a start.

5. Rent out a room- This is more on how to make some extra money. If you live in a big house then an extra room can always be rented to someone. Educate you’re self on renting so that you don’t give a room to a criminal or a con man. Do a proper credit and background check before giving out the room. If you don’t feel safe of confident enough to do it yourself then consult a property agent.

I think these few tips will help you out during these testing times. Happy Bargaining.

One day that most modern girls look forward is Valentine’s Day. Coming once a year, a romantic moment to look forward to can sometimes be the best moment in your life that you could never forget. Here are a few things that could spice things up…

Exchange really, really romantic love notes: This is the most common and popular way of expressing your feeling to the one who sets your heart on fire. Nothing too corny like the lines you get off the internet and nothing too outdated( might work, but not always). Think of how you feel and try to be as honest about your feelings as possible and come up with something catchy.

Get some red roses and few gifts: Get a bouquet of red roses. The most romantic thing that you could come up with. It’s sure to bring a big smile and a long hug and a kiss if you give it to her at the right time and at the right moment. Get her a box of her favorite chocolates. Maybe something small and cute can also be added, like a small teddy bear or a cute key-chain or a small flower-vase. Anything to give a little extra something to say that you care.

Spend the day together: Hang out. Set out a list of things to do together and set a time to meet up. Don’t oversleep (worst thing you could ever do…). Brush those pearly whites, take a shower, a little deo, something smooth and comfy to wear and you’re set. But before you go, don’t forget to check your wallet. You can never say how the day might turn out. Meet up and roam around your favorite hang out spots that you two share. It could be the beach or a walk in your favorite park. Or go for a road trip to somewhere close by, like a hill overlooking the city or the sea. Watch the sunset together if it’s possible. Or go to the top most floor of your apartment and watch the sun set( that is if you don’t have an ocean next to you).

Spend time in each others apartment: This is for those who live in apartments, obviously. Spend time cleaning up each others place, or cook each others meal. Take a nap listening to music or looking at old photo albums. Order take out and watch a late night movie. Type of movie is of your choice, something that both of you are comfortable watching. Doze off in each others arms if the movie get’s too boring.

Go out for dinner: Think of the most romantic restaurant within your budget. But then again, why not go a little extra special by taking her to a really classy restaurant? After all, Valentines Day comes only once in a year. Tell her that you have something special planned out in the evening and tell her to put on the favorite and prettiest dress. Plan every moment carefully leaving no room for mistakes, cause you wanna make this really special, see? Pick out your outfit for the evening, something either really snazzy or something that gives out a calm look, something that say’s,’ I’m in for a easy, smooth evening’. Pick her up. Not to early or too late. You shouldn’t make her panic by reaching too early, nor make her wait by reaching too late. Leave early if you feel you might get late on the way.

Be a Gentleman. Open and close the door for her. Let her lead the way. Pull the chair out for her( don’t forget to push it back for her to sit…). If it’s possible to arrange something with the hotel manager to arrange something like a special cake or a well decorated table with scented candles of a bowl with flowers floating around.

Make special effort with your table manners. Do take care that you don’t do anything rather offensive or particularly nasty, like a big burp that could blow away her makeup. But don’t make it obvious by handling the cutlery in a very careful manner or anything of that sort. Either have dessert there or take her to Baskin-Robbins or Cold Stones for her to have her favorite ice cream. Go for a spin in the city and then finally take her back home. One final kiss to end the day. What comes after is up to you…

Well, that’s pretty much everything, i guess. Have a romantic and safe Valentine’s Day. Make it your best and most of all, have fun doing it…

It’s that time of year when love is in the air and people are constantly shot down by cupids arrow. People celebrate Valentines Day to pay tribute to Saint Valentines undying love for his mistress. While many guys succeed in winning over girls heart, there are some who only manage to make fools of themselves. Here’s a funny take on 10 things NOT to do on Valentines day.

1. We all have someone who we secretly love and on valentines day cards are the best way to express it. But do not sent a card to him/her through a common friend, especially if the card says “CALL ME (in red with your number next to it).

2. Its good to send intimate cards to your girlfriend, but DON’T send cards like:-

“Roses are red, violets are blue.

Since the time i saw you, i knew i was in love with you”

P.S. Wana try anal?

3. Don’t buy her a bunch of carnations and say “My bad. But the red roses were too damn expensive!!”

4. Take her out for an expensive dinner but when the bill arrives then DON’T say “God damn!! I could have drunk 5 beers for this much! And I’m not even getting laid tonight!!”

5. When you spend the day with her or take her out for dinner then DON’T wear a t-shirt reading “I’M WITH STUPID”.

6. Guys love to give girls sexy thongs with an intimate note. But avoid notes like “Your sister looked really sexy in it, so I thought you would too! Hope you like it. And don’t worry, I washed it.”

7. DON’T give 10 different girls the same card and think that they will never find out, because trust me. They will, they ALWAYS do!

8. It’s great to have music on while having sex, it makes things even more sensual then before. But avoid playing bands like Cannibal Corpse or Lamb Of God, it wont make her have multiple orgasms.

9. You should always be a gentleman when you’re with her on this special day. If she accidentally slips on a wet floor then it’s best not to say “You got served, Biatch!!”

10. It goes without saying that you should always use a condom while having sex. But for fucks sake DON’T buy cherry flavored condoms. It’s not romantic, it’s just wrong…plain damn WRONG!

These are just some of the things that you should not do on this special day, but i guess its up to you to screw things up and find out for yourself. And please find out things you can add to this blog. If nothing goes right then you can always look yourself in the mirror and say “Well…Shit happens!! I always have my right hand…”
