At the World Mobile congress,Barcelona Sony Ericsson has revealed its latest phone a 12MP camera phone called Idou. The idou is intended to be marketed as unlimited entertainment.This high end phone has the SE's latest technology.The phone is based on Symbian OS.The symbian S60 OS is the one created for the smart phones.

The phone has a 3.5 inch touchscreen,16:9 widescreen for rich video viewing experience..It supports 16million colors.It features a high resolution 12MP camera with auto focus & smile detection.It has also got a xenon flash.

The phone also has the connectivitiy features of HSDPA,WiFi,Bluetooth & GPS.The phones memory can be extended using microSD cards.

How long have we been constrained by our hard disk space.Now watch put for google "The internet leader" which is planning to release G Drive, which enables the users to store data online and that too unlimited space is provided. This is seen as a major technology shift from the usual hard drive we have in the system. These days internet is becoming all the more powerful. Many are fearing that the Google's GDrive will lead to giving Google unprecented power. You could store your data on this drive and access it from anywhere in the world with a internet connection. The pros of this drive is that you need not worry about the crashed that happen in yous system because you have a copy else where ie., the Google drive.

The cons of this drive is some one who manages to hack into the google servers then you are bound to stand exposed. The google have been tight lipped about the GDrive but it may make its way into the markets soon...here you go yet another marvel by google. I just simply admire google and wonder if any would come close to google in competition on net.

Sony has recently introduced cybershot G3 camera.It is one of its kind.This is the first camera to have Wi-fi.It has a integrated web browser.It is really cool to have a wi-fi for the camera.It can upload photos directly to the web without the need to transfer to PC and then upload.This is a 10 megapixel camera and comes with a 4GB internal memory.This product is really impressive and the price details are not yet known.

Sony has unveiled a new addition to their Walkman series of Audio and Video players. The new X Series Walkman player comes with a lot of nice features like Touchscreen, WiFi and Noise Cancellation. With these features it might well become a worthy competitor against iPod Touch.

The new music player has a 3 inch 432 X 240 pixel OLED display. It claims to provide a better color and contrast than iPod Touch. The player supports MP3, WMA, AAC, WMV, MPEG-4, and AVC for video. The music player has comes with Digital Noise Cancellation which allows the headphone to block out any ambient noise. It has a Digital Sound Enhancement Engine which provides a better sound quality. WiFi is also present so you can also use it to access the web, download youtube videos and podcasts with the inbuilt Web Browser.

It sure looks like an impressive gadget. The pricing and availability is not yet announced...

Nokia Announces N97 Eco

Recently Nokia announced their N79 Active edition and now they’ve announced another variant of the N79 called the Eco. The handset is available in Petrol Black and is sold without the charger. However the phone carries the same price as the Nokia N79 handset.The company assumes that you can use the old Nokia charger if you have or else you have to buy one.

The Eco edition will be available with 3 Express-on rear panels and Nokia has promised to donate Four Pounds, that’s about Rs. 285, to WWF (World Wildlife Fund) for each version of the handset sold.. .

Office 14 is the name to the successor of Office 2007.
The alpha version has been released for testers earlier this week.One of the tester from a Russian website has leaked a few screenshots of the office 14.

While he didn't screenshot the apps individually, I do now know that the list includes: Access 14, Excel 14, Groove 14, InfoPath Designer 14, InfoPath Filler 14, InterConnect 14, OneNote 14, Outlook 14, PowerPoint 14, Project 14, Publisher 14, SharePoint Designer 14, Visio 14, and Word 14. For added convenience, the MBP200 comes with a small screen holder with a telescoping pole hidden inside, which can instantly turn a standard sheet of paper into a screen to view movies, document files or pictures. Wikipedia has launched the mobile version of its website mobile.wikipedia.org.Wikipedia is a well known website for knowledge sharing.There a has other wiki apps like SMS etc.This mobile version of the the website is really good.The mobile version is a simple interface and it is easy to browse through the topics which you want to search.This is a plain vanilla site with a simple search box, no images and all articles are split into multiple pages similar to Google Transcoder.

Super Talent Announces Two new SSD’s

The UltraDrive LE series uses SLC (Single Level Cell) technology, and will be available in capacities up to 128 GB. It offers maximum read speed of 230 Mbps and a write speed of 170Mbps. It is basically targeted towards enterprise usage.

The UltraDrive ME uses MLC (Multi Level Cell) technology, and will offer up to 256 GB of storage. The maximum read/write speed is bit slower than the LE offering 200Mbps/160Mbps respectively. The ME series is targeted for consumer usage.

Both the drives have same physical outlook as both of them are 2.5” inches SATA-II units. Super Talent commits that consumer drive or the ME series drive of 128GB will endure 50 Gigs of writing & erasing per day for over 70 years enhancing the overall life of the drive.

According to the company the drives are expected in market in the first month of 2009 but the company is not committing any price as the value of SSD’s varies very frequently. Still you can expect the UltraDrive ME of 256GB storage capacity to be available at a price tag of nearly $900 that is ~45,000 INR as per current conversion rate...

Logitech has announced a new gaming accessory for PC and Mac, the G13 advanced game board. It is like a hybrid keypad and will act like a secondary keyboard while gaming. It comes with a LCD screen which provides some useful gaming info during those long gaming sessions.

The LCD screen can give you useful information such as stats for some games like World of Warcraft or it can tell you which character is speaking during voice chat. It is ergonomically designed and can be used to increase the capability if the G15 keyboard and G9 laser mouse. It has 25 programmable keys, analog stick, three game modes. You can also create game profiles and macros. It also has backlights with several color options. It even has onboard memory and comes pre configured with several popular games. Another multimedia mobile phone is going to enter into the market for this festive season. Motorola is going to add another member to its MOTOYUVA family, the MOTOYUVA W396. It is the seventh phone in the Motoyuva series and is an entry level multimedia phone. It has got some decent features at an affordable price.

It has got a slim and stylish clamshell design. It has a 1.8 inch, 128 X 160 pixels 65K display. It does not have any exterior display but contains three bright colored LED lights on external cover. The phone has a VGA camera which offers a resolution of 640 X 480 and 4X digital zoom. Music lovers are surely going to love this phone. It has a built in MP3 and FM player with dedicated MP3 and FM keys. Using the dedicated keys, you can change tracks, control volume, browse through FM channels. Lenovo Mobile Could Run on Android Platform

This is the month of announcements and rumors, and here’s one more to get you in an anticipatory mood for more Android-powered handsets. It seems like Lenovo’s new touch screen handset being called the OPhone (hmm... that sounds familiar, a touch screen handset with a vowel and ‘Phone’ attached) will probably be running on the Android platform.

Word has it that it won’t be available for quite a while at least to the US customers but there could be a possibility it’ll be available a lot sooner on our continent with neighbors. It could be China Mobile’s offering of an Android handset but there’s not too much information on the specs this handset is empowered with. But not to deviate from what I’m presuming a lot of mobile maniacs are wondering – a Lenovo mobile phone? Sound’s interesting.
