Apple Building 12-inch iPad/Laptop Hybrid

Several large computer makers already offer tablet/laptop hybrids, though Apple has been sitting on the sidelines, instead deciding to draw a line between its iPads and Macbook Computers. While we expect there to be some kind of convergence between OS X and iOS at some point, it seems clear that Apple has no interest in combining tablets and computers into one versatile product. Or does it ?

According to Patrick Wang, an Analyst with Evercore Partners, Apple is working on an enterprise device with a 12- inch screen that will double as a tablet and a notebook."Expect a 2-1 hybrid , think iPad + MBA- similar to how most iPads are used in the workplace and in the same spirit of MSFT's Surface - Wang said in the note obtained by Barron's.

This isn't the first time we've heard of a larger iPad, though it is the first which claims Apple has a hybrid in the works. Most rumors simply suggest that Apple is building a 12.9 inch iPad. Wang's note is a bit hard to swallow right now; we don't really see Apple heading into the hybrid market. The again Tim Cook did promise new product categories this year.

As you might or might not know iPhone 4 is currently very cheap in India and it looks like a very attractive offer . People are willing to throw 20K over a phone that is going to be discontinued soon.Apple did the same with the 3Gs in India .PLEASE DO NOT BUY iPhone 4 Now.

iPhone 5C Leaks in Videos and Photos

The iPhone 5C has popped up today in multiple images and the first video showing one of the handset powered on and functioning.

The pictures are leaked from anonymous sources while packaging, in this post.The fist shows of a solo Blue 5C in its package by itself, and the second shows multiple 5C handset in Blue, Yellow and White , all in retail packageing. The included documentation and and SIM removal tool that will supposedly come inside the iPhone 5C box.
If those images aren't enough for you, then we also have a video uploaded by Rishabh,one of the blog writer. The video shows iPhone 5C running Safari Browser on iOS7. Due to the nature of the video, its difficult to discern if this is truly a 5C, it doesn't look like it is a real deal. Here is the video :

Apple has yet to confirm the existence of iPhone 5C, or the press even we keep on hearing will on Sept. 10th. At this point the sheer volume of leaked images for the iPhone 5C , are making the low budget handset pretty much a foregone conclusion and due to the high frequency of leaks the Sept. 10 event is looking almost certain.

Galaxy Gear Smartwatch Confirmed

Samsung Electronics will release its first "smartwatch" in Berlin,Germany ,on Sept. 4,two days ahead of the official opening of the year's IFA confumer electronics fair.

Monday, LeeYoung-hee, executive vice president of Samsung's mobile business, said that the smartwatch, named, Galaxy Gear, will use a "non-flexible display".

"We will be introducing a new wearable concept device called Galaxy Gear at our own event in Berlin on Sept. 4", Lee said. Samsung has been preparing the smartwatch product for a long time.

The Gear won't have a flexible display. The new device will enhance and enrich the current smart mobile experience in many ways. It will lead a new trend in smart mobile communication. Samsung is also preparing wearable gadgets with flexible displays that too advanced ones.

The company is gearing up against its rivals including sony to get upper hand in the market for wearable devices because the smartphone market is heading towards saturation.

But Lee declined to comment about Samsung's plan to offset growing worries over a decline in profit at its mobile business. The company has been urged to find new cash generators to hedge against this.

iWatch Concept Design

We have some crazy smartphone watches, but we are still hoping that Apple will finally release its long rumored iWatch. If Cupertino's final is anything like this concept design from Stephen Olmstead we'll be first in line buy a smartwatch on day one. His design draw perfectly on Jony Ive's iOS 7 minimalist design, as if the Apple design guru created the new iOS with iWatch in Mind.

Olmstead's iWatch design is showcased in an imagined product page, detailing its many features and colors letting customers choose between variety of wristbands. The imaginary watch can itself do a lot, and is controlled using touch display. In Standby mode the watch shows analog clock and alerts when notification comes. Click the screen once to scroll through the apps or hold it down to launch siri. You can also Facetime, read messages, check the weather or even control the iPhone camera to remotely take and preview the photos.

It all sounds pretty great.Apple has hinted that it has very busy fall with lot of new products.

Low Cost iPhone 5C Casing Revealed

The iPhone 5C, Apple's rumored low cost phone which was leaked last week, is expected launch this year. The device is not yet confirmed by Apple but the leaks keep on coming. Today we have a video of the of front and back casing with comparison to iPhone 5.

We have posted earlier some leaked photos of the Low cost iPhone in this post Leaked : Low Cost iPhone, iPhone 5C is a mix of design elements from a few iOS devices, namely the iPhone 5 dimensions, the iPod classic's rounded edges and the iPod touch's plastic exterior in different colors.

The leaked white backside casing is pictured with a loosely attacked black front panel in this video, but it seems more likely that someone simply used a a black iPhone 5 front panel since the colors don't match. Additionally we still haven't seen black low iPhone in any leaked images, suggesting that the device may come in red, yellow, blue and green it won't be released in the black. The two pieces don't fit together in the video.

Still, the new video gives the best look at the low cost iPhone so far, offering up an idea what the device will look like when it finally launches.

Pre order war - GTA V On Top!

I recently blogged about TOP 3 MOST ANTICIPATED GAMES OF THE YEAR . Well I love being right According to vgchartz the most pre ordered game in USA is GTA V with 474k (crazy) Pre orders .There is a sharp difference between the first and the second with call of duty : Ghosts with 198k pre orders and not too far behind is battlefield 4 (189k).

And not to forget the much hyped Watch dogs by Ubisoft is also doing pretty good(Far better than my expectation) with 80k Preorders .

I've said this before and can't say it enough 2013 has been and will be a great year for gaming with games like LAST OF US , BATTLEFIELD 4, GTA 5 and the utterly expensive CALL OF DUTY: GHOSTS.

Will the New Nexus 7 or Chromecast Ever come to India?

For those who don't know a few days back Google released various new products two of these were the New Nexus 7 and Chromecast. On the Google play stores of all the countries the products were either listed as coming soon or available but for the Indian play store no news was released or no specific date was announced.I pondered over why India is neglected every time and SPECIFICALLY why products like chromecast and nexus 7 take time to come to India.

Chromecast

Chromecast is a 35$ device that streams Netflix or YouTube direct to your T.V. with your android phone or tablet or even iPhone as the remote with android devices it can stream google Music and movies to your T.V. too.

The first reason it can't come to India is that

Netflix is not available in the country and people (well the majority) are not a big fan of YouTube .
second is that Google doesn't want to release such devices in India I don't know why but Google is very lazy to make things available in India

So I don't think chromecast will be ever available in India .

New Nexus 7

Remember what happened with the last generation of nexus 7. It was released 7-8 months late in India.

people waited eagerly for 7 months in hope of fairly budget tablet as in the US it was available for 200$ which converts to 10000 , Most people predicted 13000 price point but Google broke all the hopes with a 16000 price point which converts to around 300$.WHY Google?

Eventually it was released in India but with a lot delay so the new nexus 7 will be available but don't expect it too early

Chinese woman killed by iPhone 5 electric shock

Is that true a woman got killed by iPhone 5 ? A Chinese woman was killed by her iPhone 5. Apple is going to look at the reports of the case.

The charging iPhone 5 apparently delivered shock to 23 year old woman when she answered the call. The news on a micro blogging site shared her sister's message warning other iPhone 5 users to be careful while answering call. The post went viral and Apple has promised to look into the incident.

"We are deeply saddened to learn this tragic incident and offer our condolences to the her family", Apple told the reuters. " We will fully investigate and cooperate with authorities in this matter"

Apple declined to answer whether this is the first time the iPhone has malfunctioned in this manner. The company was previously in hot water in China after its warranty policies in the country were exposed as unfair when compared to the rest of the world.

Blackberry A10 unveiled in a Leaked Photo

Is this the new BlackBerry A10? This Leaked Photo shows off the 5 inch screen on the device is going to be the next BlackBerry 10 smartphone.

The source claims that the BlackBerry A10, which is codenamed Aristo, will be equipped with a 1280 X 720 display, like its Z10 Predecessor, rather than a Full HD available on the most recent high end smart phones.

Other Blackberry A100 features we know include a Snapdragon chipset with a 1.5 GHz quad core Krait processor along with 2 Gb RAM and an 8 Megapixel primary Camera.

The Design of the Blackberry A10 looks quite similar to the predecessor Z10 except it has the white bottom instead of black as you can see in the picture.

Blackberry A10 will run Blackberry 10 OS but unfortunately there is no word on pricing and the launch date of the smart phone.

Console

The PlayStation camera would be released as a separate, add-on accessory.

Software and Services

The PlayStation runs a modified version of FreeBSD. Although the PS 4 does not require n internet connection to function, Sony says that PlayStation 4's feature are richer when online. The PlayStation network will allow players to access a variety of cloud- based services. Online Multi player requires a subscription to PlayStation Plus a new policy for PlayStation consoles.

User Interface

The PS 4 will replace XrossMediaBar with a new interface. The user profiles for the player will be improved. The PS 4 home screen will feature personalized content from friends. Services from the Amazon and Netflix will be accessible within the new interface.

1. GTA :V

This is for sure the most awaited game of the year and gamers have been waiting for this game for a pretty long time. Till now there have been three trailers which look awesome.tons of screenshots have been published which show that the game will have killer graphics and story-line.Game is up for pre order on various websites. this game will surely be a huge success.

2. Battlefield 4

I was absolutely BLOWN away by the trailer a month back.This is the game I am willing to pay 60 bucks without thinking even once.It will be a no brainer and again I think it will be a huge success. It is also up for pre order.

3. Call of duty : Ghosts

I have seen its trailer in it will surely be set in near future after the events of black ops 2. Its story looks pretty

good and not to forget the dog , i think he'll be playing a crucial role in the story and if he dies I think the story will be pretty emotional ( :P ) . We'll have a lot of gameplay footage of this game on Sunday i.e 9 June at 11 am PDT which will be around 11:30 pm IST .It be a good game or not the fact that it is a CALL OF DUTY it automatically becomes a hit by its incredibly large fan following.

All These Games will be last of the games for this gen consoles so I think the will sell in huge numbers .

Budget android phones comes with a poor quality touch screen technology. These screens usually have lower resolutions that are below 480p by 320p. In addition, the poor quality screen suffers from responsive problems, not to mention the dead pixels which appear quite often oon low-quality Smartphones. Its high time to learn the importance of good screen in order to feel the true android experience.

Low Quality Build Materials

Cheaper android phone come with poor quality build material, they need your careful attention. You would probably want to hold on to smartphone for a couple of years carefully. So there are big chances that you may drop it on a concrete floors or bump it a few times or even spill water on it.

High end smartphones are dust resistant or even water proof certified at times. They come with IP55 and IP67 certifications to prove the same. Gorilla glass is a kind of material that these high end smartphones possess. Most low end smartphones start squeaking make funny noises as you drop them for 1st time.

No Android Updates

We know how smartphone vendor are notoriously late in providing android updates to their top of the line smartphones. If you choose to go down the dirt cheap road,you will not have hardware that is good to run the current top apps, not to mention the apps that will be designed to take advantage of the processing power of the current high-end smartphones.

Low amount of RAM can block a Smartphone to the point where the Android OS will automatically kill apps in the background to open up more RAM for the currently open apps, ending in disabling one of the main features of android; multitasking. Cheap Android smartphones come with 512MBof RAM and less. As apps become bigger more RAM will be needed for which 1GB may become absolutely minimal.

Bands and Price

This rule doesn't stand true always. Some small vendors release decent Android budget tablets as well as some big brands release crappy low end phones once in a while. However, a low-end phone from a trusted vendor is always better than the no names ones.

Htc One vs Samsung Galaxy S4

If the screen size is the only criterion then S4 wins with its 5 inch screen over htc one's 4.7 inch screen. But numbers alone don't define experience. In terms of quality displays of both the phone are excellent. Texts look sharp due to their full HD resolution. But there are a few subtle differences. The screen on the S4 has very deep blacks and is capable of richer colors. The screen on HTC one show truer colors.It also offers better readability under direct sunlight.and outdoor use.

BATTERY

The battery on both handsets last longer enough to allow for a single day use, which include phone calls, 3G videos, web browsing, E-Mails, social networking, some gaming and photography. Still in absolute terms on heavy uses the Htc one wins here with an average battery life of 13 to 14 hours when compared to 12 hours for the Galaxy S4 .

PERFORMANCE

The Galaxy S4 and Htc One are superb performers running games like Dead trigger with ease .Web browsing is smooth, GPS is smooth and accurate and 3G speeds are good. The availability of 2Gb ram on both which means multi tasking is effortless. The s4 suffered from the occasional lag, especially while switching between tasks.

CALL QUALITY

The Galaxy S4 and the HTC one are premium phones and as such have no issues handling phone calls, Both have noise cancellation for background sounds and we got excellent voice clarity during calls, we called could also hear us clearly.

MUSIC

Both phones handle digital music formats such as MP3, M4a, FLAC with ease, in terms of audio quality we found htc ones beats audio to be better than samsung's adapt sound tech. Importantly the htc one has placed its speakers called boomsound at the front; they are loud and produced distortion- free sound even at high volumes. Also the Htc one has FM receiver, the S4 doesn't.

WINNER : HTC ONE

VIDEO

The galaxy S4 gets the nod here. While the htc one had trouble with certain video formats like avi at FullHD resolution, the Galaxy S4 handled the same clips like a champ. When used with a third- party app like MX- Player the S4 even handles FullHD mov files with ease. Its larger screen, which

produce rich colors, also makes watching video on S4 more enjoyable.

CAMERA

The galaxy S4 and Htc one are very capable shooters. but in our use, we found that the S4's 13 MP camera to be a more consistent performer. The images shot with it are detailed, comprised good colors, and subjects appears in sharp focus. The S4 especially excels at close shots and is capable of shooting images that match the output of good point and shoot camera in good light.In breaking away from the trend that more megapixels are better , the htc one's main camera is only 4 MP. Still, it is just as capable of good color production and sharp focus. It, however loses out to the galaxy S4 when it comes to the level of details. In low light, the Htc One performs marginally better, but if we use galaxy S4's night mode, the difference between the two is negligible.

WINNER : SAMSUNG GALAXY S4

USER INTERFACE

The Htc One uses the proprietary UI called Sense , while Samsung calls it custom interface TouchWiz. In terms of asthetics, Sense looks better with its subdued and minimalistic designs. Touchwiz ,on the other hand, uses lots of Widgets and is defined by its use of colors. In terms of usability, we like TouchWiz. The htc one has just two buttons for navigation-back and home. The menu can accessed through the settings option provided in various apps, while multitasking requires double tapping Home. Apple just announced that it will hold its World wide developers conference between june 10 and june 14 in San Francisco tickets will go on sale on April 25 at 10:00 am. PDT.We'll probably see new OSX and the iOS 7.
Apple's CEO Tim cook said that we shouldn't expect new products until fall of 2013. But I think it'll give us at least a few hardware details about the iPhone 5s.
