KYOTO, Japan, 14 April 2025 - The launch by Nintendo of the next Nintendo Switch 2 took a curious and frustrating blow, especially for the fans of its most famous franchise – the legend of Zelda. As fans of eagle eyes and reported by Eurogamer and Nintendo Life discovered, the very anticipated Switch 2 Editions of Zelda Legend: The respiration of the Wild and Kingdom Tears seems to lack support to save cloud backup via Nintendo Switch Online (NSO). A depreciation movement, especially taking into account these already supported titles, saves clouds on the original switch.

The list of stores in North America and Europe for the updated Zelda titles now carries the load: “Please note that this software does not support the Nintendo Switch Online payment subscription backup function”

Curiously, the Japanese listings do not reflect the same limitation. There, the official website still mentions NSO membership being required to use the save data storage service. This discrepancy only deepens the mystery and leads fans to wonder — is this an intentional policy change or a simple oversight?

Why is cloud support missing for Zelda games on Switch 2?

Although Nintendo has not yet officially commented on the subject, the decision - if intentional – challenges expectations. According to IGN and TechRadar reports, several other Switch 2 Edition titles, including Super Mario Party Jamboree and Kirby and the Forgotten Land, retain the entire cloud backup support. This raises a key question: why Zelda and now?

Players who transfer their existing savings from the original Switch to spin 2 editions of Zelda games will find themselves in a strange situation – their game data is no longer automatically supported by the cloud. Even those who start again with a new backup file will only be able to protect their progress if Nintendo reverses the course. It seems particularly risky to escape, big games of progress like Zelda, where dozens or even hundreds of hours can be invested in the exploration and completion of stories.

From a technical point of view, there is no obvious reason for these specific titles to be incompatible with the cloud system of the NSOs. They gently supported him. Theories among amateurs range from a backend migration issue to concerns about synchronization of achievements or application integration, none of which has been confirmed.

Are all Switch 2 games affected?

No, and this inconsistency is what raises the eyebrows. The denial of the missing cloud seems to be limited to the Zelda franchise. Games like Metroid Prime 4 and Super Mario Party Jamboree do not carry the same warning, suggesting that the theme is selective rather than systemic.

As the user ResetEra Random67 pointed out, even among Zelda’s titles, there is inconsistency. Previous versions of the pages of the Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Party Jamboree store included the dump, but were then removed from the dump. This inconsistency raises the possibility of Nintendo still finalizing policies or possibly reviewing pages after internal reviews.

The scope of Eurogamer in Nintendo for clarification remains unanswered, leaving fans in the lurch. If it is a political experience or simply a clerical error is still observed, but it causes real anxiety for players looking to secure their backup data on a new console.

What’s new in Zelda Switch 2 Editions?

Despite the cloud controversy, the Switch 2 Editions of Breath of the Wild and Lars of the Kingdom come with remarkable improvements. According to TechRadar and Polygon, players can expect better visual and softer coaching rates and a new performance system that adds repetition value to finalists. One of the most interesting additions is the ability to repair weapons, a feature that was lost in the originals.

This update, however, is not built directly in the game. Nintendo introduces a new application – Zelda Notes – that connects to the Nintendo Switch Online mobile ecosystem. Thanks to this application, users can access a journal bonus system that provides random rewards, including health impulses, reloads of resistance, elixirs and, importantly, equipment repairs. This Roulette style mechanic will only be available once a day and includes up to 12 possible results.

The random nature of the bonus system has already led to discussions. While some praise it as an intelligent job for frustrations of durability, others criticize the dependence on luck for a feature as crucial as repairing the devices. As YouTuber Zeltik pointed out, this change offers a solution to the weapon engineer who has long polarized the community.

How does the game change the Zelda Notes app?

Think of the Zelda Notes app as a Nintendo version of a companion tool, it is not a trap code, but certainly a new game enhancer. By integrating repair options into an external application, Nintendo seems to overcome mobile and console experiences more deliberately than before.

However, this integration comes with caves. On the one hand, the repair function is entirely luck-based and unsecured. If you are half the battle and your precious shield breaks, there is no guarantee that the next round will help you get it back. In addition, players should download the app separately and connect it to their ONS account, introducing frictions that some might find frustrating.

However, the inclusion of equipment repair, even through a rotating wheel mechanic, recognizes a long-standing criticism. Players often expressed frustration at the loss of weapons in the middle of the period. With Zelda Notes, Nintendo seems to offer a half-step to relieve this pain, although not all are satisfied with the delivery method.

What about DLC and prices?

Another detail that adds to the wrong messaging is how Nintendo manages DLC for Switch 2 versions. According to Eurogamer, while the basic games will be sent fully updated and in cartridge, Breath of the Wild will not include the downloadable content of the original game. The question of whether players need to put this DLC back in place is still unclear. Since these editions are a £65 price in the UK, consumers rightly wonder why we pay exactly?

On the other hand, the games will include all the data in the cartridge, ensuring that they are not necessarily downloaded for the basic experience, a decision that was welcomed at a time when physical editions are often simple launchers for mass digital installations.

Meanwhile, Switch 2 itself is launched at $449.99 / £395.99, with a Mario Kart World package at $499.99 / £429.99. The previous orders are in effect in the United Kingdom, while in the United States and Canada, Nintendo evaluates the tariff implications before opening orders. For fans who want to get their hands on Zelda’s latest adventure – or play it up-to-date – day shopping – it seems likely, the cloud saves or not.

What does this mean for long-term players?

For many dedicated fans, the cloud problem is not just a technicality, it is a matter of trust. With more than 100-hour adventures common at Salvage Breathing and Kingdom Tears, not having a reliable backup option creates a legitimate risk. While games allow to transfer savings from the original console, players who start freshly or progress beyond this point are at a data disadvantage.

If a console is broken, lost or corrupted, these players could lose everything. For a company as meticulous and user-centred as Nintendo, it looks like a brilliant supervision – or perhaps an intentional but erroneous limitation. In any case, it imposes on consumers the burden of preserving their progress without the same characteristic that was designed to help them do exactly that.

Until Nintendo brings clarity, fans are left with two contradictory realities: exciting new features and frustrating new barriers. If this exchange is worth it, it will probably vary from player to player. But one thing is true: communication around the Switch 2 transition has been far from smooth.

With the launch of the console for June 5, 2025, Nintendo still has time to clarify its position. Until then, players are urged to manually support their data whenever possible, appreciate their existing cloud backups, and perhaps approach the Daily Bonus roulette with a healthy dose of skepticism.

LOS ANGELES, California, April 17, 2025 – The independent studio of the game Legion Studio has just restarted the dark scene of the fantasy game with its last trailer for Covenant, a first-person action adventure imitated in Gothic mythology and the funny melee fight. Unveiled during the Galaxia Gaming Showcase 2025, this ambitious title forms to be more than a soul with a gun. This is the love work of a dozen former AAA veterans whose prints are on industrial Titans such as Call of Duty, Halo, Doom and Destiny.

In the Alliance, the players are introduced into the beaten boots of a warrior angel – the last messenger of divine origin - discovered by discovering the tragic fall of Malach, a celestial once venerated now lost in darkness. History deeply attracts players into the philosophical marrow of a broken world, built not only in battle, but also in cryptic parrots, enigmatic puzzle, and the raw essence of Creation itself. As described in the Steam page of the game, the world of Creation is spreading, interconnected and fraught with danger, presenting opportunities for exploration that reward attention and curiosity to the same extent.

The inspiration behind the Pact is not difficult to find. You need the design of the interconnected world Dark Souls, Doom’s immersive brutality and the mechanical elegance of fighting games like Tekken, but the sum of these pieces is totally fresh. According to PCGamesN, the game’s melee fight is distinguished by a high point, marked by dynamic duels, weight swings and precise meters. Players can have two-handed weapons for devastating power or maintain mobility with a lighter and more agile posture, reflecting the strategic fighting systems of the genre titans and adding touch through FPS immersion.

What sets of covenants apart from traditional souls?

The pact can borrow from Soulslike’s DNA, but his first person perspective radically changes the player’s interaction. The fluidity of the movement – kicks, angle slides and medium air pivots – erases the line between the parkour and the precision fight. It is not only a heavy RPG with slow animations and deliberate attacks. The result is more like a sword fight orchestrated by a dancer, where time and flow count as much as brute force. As Wccftech reported, each combat posture changes more than just animations; reform players’ perception of the world, their movement and their struggle.

This system based on postures not only adjusts statistics, it transforms the behavior of the game, from the doping race to the jump. Think of it as sliding into different martial arts disciplines, each unlocking different rhythms and strategies. Some positions will be adapted to duels, others are ideal for ambush or crowd control. Legion Studio promotes experimentation, offering expansive building options through a combination of spells, weapons, auras, trimmings, rings and catalysts. These are not shallow cosmetic options – they are significant adjustments that redefine how one survives.

The game also introduces a PvP layer, which includes 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 formats. Each skirmish will allow players to test their creativity and reflections against others in the sand, a sand where the best constructions, reflections and tactical minds prevail. This format offers many competitive combat games while preserving the brutal aesthetics of Soulslike’s fight, according to the coverage of the event DSOGaming.

How does the cooperative gambling factor work?

Multiplayer in the Covenant is not only a complement, it is a central pillar. As noted at the Galaxy Gaming Showcase, players can join friends to face together the deepest horrors in the world, moving from isolation to camaraderie without losing narrative depth. Cooperation campaigns offer a shared progression and unique opportunities for fighting based on synergy. Imagine a player nailing an enemy with a spell while another vault outside a ledge to deliver a final, it’s not far away, but part of the player’s expected experience.

In addition, according to the developer’s comment, the game includes shared exploration paths and synchronized puzzle mechanisms, which require teams to work in tandem. Whether entering a fortress or solving a century-old riddle, communication and coordination are essential. Covenant allows players not only to fight, but to discover side by side, a rarity in narrative fantasy games.

What if PvE wasn’t your style? Structured PvP duels offer a competitive advantage. Each posture, fate and construction can be confronted with another combat that tests adaptability and reflexes. With this type of sand, the Pact not only the loans of other sexes, but defies them.

What is the importance of global construction in the Pact?

According to Steam’s general vision, The Covenant not only offers a battlefield: it provides a breathable world called Creation, where each kingdom contains its own myths, puzzles and secrets. This interconnected world is strongly influenced by the principles of the Metroidvania style. Exploration is not optional; It is essential. You will return through family corridors with new tools, unlocking corridors and a parrot that deepens the emotional resonance of history.

Visual narration also plays an important role. From troubling silhouettes of fallen giants to skeletal remains of once glorious civilizations, the environment itself tells the decadence and divinity of Creation. Everything is done by hand, no map is generated here. The presentation of the game was described as oppressive and sublime, reminding the Lords of fallen and blood. As PCGamesN correctly pointed out, it is a visual gift impregnated in the environment, mixing stifled weapons, grotesque enemies and Gothic architecture in a tapestry of mythical narration.

Spiritual nuances are also profound. The theme of fallen angels and forgotten truths leads to a metaphysical narrative, offering a reflection on the redemption, purpose and cyclical nature of violence. These are not only aesthetic options, but they form the basis of what makes the Alliance emotionally convincing. The player is not only a warrior, but a searcher of truths lost to time and tragedy.

Why should players be excited to fight the Alliance?

Let us be clear: fighting is at the heart of the alliance. But it’s not just about hitting faster or faster. As Wccftech pointed out, Legion Studio has shown tremendous care to make every meeting sensitive, heavy and tactical. Melee’s attacks are clear and decisive, the projectiles resonate with satisfactory blows, and the magic pulses with a visual touch. Each category of weapons, from bows made by ants to thunderous warriors, introduces new mechanics to master. Even worldly objects, such as airpots, are part of their offensive tool kit.

There is an undeniable artist in combat choreography. A scene in the trailer shows a pot that was struck in the middle of the air facing an enemy, followed by a sweeping leg manoeuvre that descends to several attackers. It is not only the visual pump, it is the interactive combat design that rewards experimentation. The developers have confirmed that each action, from wall jumps to staples, has been granted to work perfectly within the first person mechanics, eliminating the usual awkwardness that is found in other FPS melee-central titles.

Anyway, it’s not just another kind of Souls dressed in a fancy costume. The Covenant takes care of its own identity – visually satisfactory, rich and mechanically profound narrative. Every weapon, every spell, every movement counts. You don’t just fight enemies – you compose synphons of violence in a broken world that aspires to the meaning.

Will the Compact on Consoles or Early Access be published?

Here’s the only warning – The Covenant is still in active development, with no date of publication confirmed. According to Legion Studio’s latest update, they are currently looking for an editorial partner and do not plan to enter Early Access unless absolutely necessary. The study also expressed interest in bringing the game to consoles, but for the moment there is still an exclusive PC project that appears on Steam.

While the small size of the study (12 people) could raise eyebrows, the pedigree talent behind it is indisputable. With the veterans of Doom, Battlefield and Apex Legends on the stand, expectations are naturally high. And so far, every new revelation adds substance to hiccups. If the final version lives or not until the trailer promise is still seen, but if Legion Studio removes it, Alliance could become one of the entries that define the genre.

What should fans do now? Game ready. Follow the studio. Collaborate with the community. Because sometimes smaller studies produce the greatest surprises.

In short: the Alliance is formed to be an intransigent mixture of dark fantasy, fighting for the first person and soul exploration. It is a fusion of genre that, if well done, could finally satisfy purists and fans of FPS. And in an industry with originality, it is a vision that deserves to be supported.

SEOUL, South Korea, 16 April 2025 – In a world full of high-tech smart watches, Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic remains high – even when new models like Galaxy Watch 7 hold the focus. What makes more than another smartwatch story is that this modern classic has become one of the best offers in the technology usable today. According to How-To Geek and Yahoo Tech, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is currently only available for $199 – half its original price – at the lowest price since its launch in 2023.

It’s not just a price. This is an important moment for smartwatch enthusiasts who appreciate design and functionality. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic was not only another iteration in Samsung’s extended wear line, but it marked the last of its kind very loved features of the physical rotating bezel, a feature that has since disappeared in its successor. For many fans, it just makes this discount feel like a good-bye tour worth buying from.

Let’s break it: The 43mm version of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic offers a 1.3-inch AMOLED display that is vibrant and easy in the eyes, even in daylight. Under the surface, it works on Samsung’s Exynos W930 Chipset, supported by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. It works on Google’s Wear operating system, offering perfect integration with a wide range of Android phones – not only Samsung’s own Galaxy devices, but also Google’s Pixel line and more.

Why is Galaxy Watch 6 Classic still relevant in 2025?

One might wonder: if the Galaxy Watch 7 is already out, why is there still so much buzz around the 6 Classic clock? The answer lies in a rare combination of design, practicality and nostalgia. As Yahoo Tech pointed out, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic reintroduced the iconic rotating bezel that defines Samsung’s first smart watches as the 4 Classic watch. This design element not only seemed good – it was really useful, offering a way to touch down to navigate the clock interface without moving the screen.

Samsung’s decision to drop this feature on clock 7 made the 6 Classic feel even more distinctive. In a market where most updates are iterative, the 6 Classic became a favorite cult, not because it was the last one, but because it did some exceptionally good things. Now, with a 50% reduction, it also does one thing that new models rarely do – making it accessible.

From a technical point of view, neither is it a touch. The 6 Classic is equipped with advanced health sensors that monitor heart rate, sleep regimes, stress levels and more. Samsung has also committed to long-term software updates, ensuring that users will continue to receive improvements and new features for years to come. According to How-To Geek, Wear OS ensures that users have access to high-level applications directly from Google Play Store, a significant advantage over patented systems.

What does this special discount do?

At a time when usable technology seems to be more expensive for each generation, this price reduction is refreshing. Classic 6 came out to $399 in 2023, and while regular sales have dropped to about $250, this current $199 offer sets a new standard. For comparison, Apple’s equivalent models rarely see such deep cuts, and certainly not in such complete models of features.

It’s not just about saving money. At $199, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic reduces many smart budget watches while offering high-performance specifications and features. Get a stainless steel construction, interchangeable tapes, built-in GPS, NFC for Samsung Pay, and the ability to take calls directly from your wrist, all wrapped in a design that looks like home in a gym or dinner.

And let’s not neglect the battery. The 43 mm model contains a 300mAh battery, which offers about two days of regular use, a claim that corresponds to the performance of the real world in most cases. Even with a screen still activated, it is achieved by a complete day comfortably, which is more than you can say for some new, more powerful models on the market.

How is he compared to Galaxy Watch 7?

The Galaxy Watch 7 is certainly more recent, with some minor improvements in battery performance and efficiency. However, it lacks the only thing that many Samsung users have long liked: the rotating bezel. While watch 7 embraces a cleaner design, perhaps more minimalist, it is also less tactile and, for some, less intuitive.

This difference may seem insignificant on paper, but in everyday use it is remarkable. The bezel offers an efficient way to move through menus, adjust settings and navigate applications, all without touching the screen. For users with larger fingers or those who often navigate their smart watch in half an hour or half an hour, this feature was not just a novelty. It was convenient.

In addition, the 6 Classic watch maintains software capabilities almost identical to the 7 watch thanks to Wear OS updates. So in terms of performance, you don’t miss much by going with the old model – and now cheaper -. For many users, especially those who improve from old devices, the Watch 6 Classic is the perfect combination of modern performance and user-centred design.

What’s the cave?

No product is boundless, and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic has it. It is a little more voluminous than some prefer, especially compared to new models that favour sliding profiles. And although its two-day battery life is respectable, it does not have a candle for some fitness-oriented laptops like Garmin or Fitbit, which can last a week or longer on a single charge.

That said, it’s not a fitness tracker – it’s a smart watch in its own right. And when you think you can make calls, make payments, receive notifications and access a full set of apps directly from your wrist, these small exchanges feel more than justified. For the vast majority of users, especially Android owners, it remains one of the most attractive options available.

In addition, the quality of construction is difficult to overcome. The stainless steel case and the Gorilla Glass DX covered screen offer excellent durability, and the ability to easily exchange bands means you can evolve with your style or needs over time. It was this balance of longevity and adaptability that helped the Classic 6 watch remain relevant well beyond its launch date.

Is this the right time to buy?

Sure. It’s not just a marker – it’s an invitation to own a stanout that can be used for the cost of an input device. Whether it’s for smart watches or to replace an aging model, the $199 Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is hard to pass. Given Samsung’s history with support, buyers can expect firmware updates and new features for several years, making this investment smart as well as an intelligent device.

As How-To Geek and Yahoo Tech have said, this agreement will not last forever. With such sharp reductions, the inventory is likely to move quickly, especially with an increasing awareness of what makes the 6 Classic watch unique. If you’re sitting in the fence, it’s time to make your move. He may not be the new guy in the neighborhood, but when it comes to value, he’s in a league of his own.

In a time when smart watches often line up, Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic still stands out, not by trying to reinvent the wheel, but by reminding us of the features that once made the usable technology fun, elegant and really useful. It’s a retirement, a workhorse, and a case too good to ignore.

But others believe that a game on this scale deserves full marketing attention. The remake of oblivion was stolen for years; Many argue that a high-level revelation could have struck even more emotion and goodwill.

Instead, Bethesda opted for a mute start-up, leaving leaks and speculations to build hype organically. If this approach pays the rest to see, but it is certainly not orthodox for a game with such a legacy. According to Jeff Grubb, this can simply be a question of pragmatism: releasing the game in silence avoids the examination and expectations that often accompany the AAA’s mass launches.

What does this mean for the preservation of the game?

Perhaps the most important – and least discussed – aspect of this remake is its place in the biggest conversation about the preservation of the game. Since Bethesda has given ancient titles for modern platforms, countless old games of the 1980s and 1990s languish in the dark, their source codes lost or inaccessible. According to Kotaku’s analysis, the emphasis on remastering profitable IP leaves large parts of the history of the game at risk of disappearing completely.

There is a sad irony here: studies pour resources into visual updates for still playable games, without keeping titles that really need to save from technological obsolescence. It’s a trend more dollar-oriented than a legacy. And yet, there is something to say to give a new life to the games loved – even if it is mainly for financial reasons.

Ultimately, this moment encapsulates the paradox of modern games. Studies want the security of nostalgia while independent developers bear the burden of innovation. What about the audience? They are trapped somewhere between – so grateful for the older, more beautiful and hungry games of new worlds to explore.

On April 21, players will return to the fields and cities of Cyrodil, either for nostalgia, curiosity or both. But the deeper questions about preservation, innovation and the real cost of security will remain long after the credit falls.

SEATTLE, Washington, April 16, 2025 – With the early release of Doom: The Dark Ages around the corner, Xbox and Bethesda triggered a brutal wave of thematic accessories that are as visually stopped as the famous franchise game. While the game itself will not come to the shelves until May 15, fans have already started arming themselves, not with the chainsaw and plasma rifles, but with a new collection of Xbox equipment in a limited edition that turns the console experience into something outside the gates of hell.

In line with Microsoft, Polygon and Mashable ads, Xbox has launched two new Doom theme drivers, each capturing the dark fantasy of the next shooter. The support between them is the standard wireless controller – not standard in look, but in function. Priced at $79.99 and now available for pre-order in Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop and Microsoft Store, this piece of material turns heads with its medieval design and bloody style.

According to Mashable, the Doom: Darkness The age controller is covered in matt green, evocative of the iconic Doom Slayer armor. Its surface is splashed with criminal viscera – a wink to the coming bloodshed – while the real 3D metal peaks pass near the guide button, adding an aggressive tactile edge to the experiment. In a safe movement to delight parrot enthusiasts, the traditional ABXY buttons were replaced by the cryptographic runes of the Sentinel alphabet, reinforcing the mythical tone of the new Doom saga.

What makes this controller so unique?

The answer is in the sum of your grotesque details. Beyond its aesthetic examination, the controller offers textured leather handles, a red stick and an orange trigger, all designed to create a deeply immersive feeling. It is not only designed to play at Doom; It is designed to feel like Doom. According to Kotaku, this type of overconceived and maximalist approach resonates with Doom’s fan base, known for its appetite for excess and extreme.

In addition to its appeal, the controller comes with a bonus: a digital code for Doom Executor’s exclusive skin: The Dark Age. For collectors and casual players, this is the kind of extra that can hang an undecided buyer in a preorder. This also reinforces Xbox’s continuing tendency to accumulate game accessories with cosmetic advantages, a practice that improves repeatability and promotes franchise loyalty.

Is there still an elite version?

Absolutely – and it’s darker, worse and very expensive. The Xbox 2 Doom Elite wireless order series was also unveiled this week, a premium category option to launch on April 25 for a pronounced price of $199.99. According to Polygon, pre-orders are already alive, but only by Microsoft Store. Although it does not provide additional technical updates on Elite 2, its cosmetic transformation is striking: with deep accents of crime, a central emblem of the Doom Slayer, and infernal glyphs integrated everywhere.

The Elite version is clearly intended for hardcore fans, those who do not only want to embody the Doom hunter in the game but want their devices to reflect this same aggression and attention to loss. It costs more than twice the standard editor highlights Microsoft’s confidence in the enthusiasm of the Doom community. And judging by the early response of online fans, they’re not wrong. Demand has already begun to increase, suggesting that a quick sale may be imminent.

What about the console?

Microsoft didn’t stop at the drivers. The company also introduced a custom Doom: The Xbox Dark Ages X console envelope series, priced at $54.99 and currently available on Microsoft Store. These envelopes, which have gained in popularity for ease of use and transformative visual impact, adhere to the console using Velcro closures. The Doom theme envelope transforms the black monolithic console into a digital altar for the murder of demons, one side that shows the insignia of the Slayer, the other washed in red tones and infernal symbols.

As Kotaku pointed out, this is a partial function, a partial fan service. Although the packaging does not alter the game or the cooling mechanisms, it deepens the fantasy, making the Xbox a tangible piece of Doom’s bloody universe. Think about it as a cosplay for your console. And for fans who have waited five years since Eternal Doom, every little dive helps keep the hip alive.

Why Doom: Darkness Age matters?

To understand the meaning of this launch, it is important to reflect on the path of openness. Originally announced at the 2023 Game Awards and officially revealed last January, Doom: Darkness The age takes a bold step in time, serving as prequel to the reinitiated Doom universe. According to the first forecasts, the game will abandon the high-tech corridors of Mars for a medieval landscape full of dragons, giant mechanic and demonic monstrosities directly uprooted from the mythology of the nightmare.

Artistic change is more than cosmetic. He redefines the origins of the doom hunt, plunging it into a dark fantasy narrative that feels cooler than the increasingly used science fiction tropes in recent years. The decision to leave the thematic accessories next to the game, especially those that visually reflect the tone of the game, is more than smart marketing. It is the world that builds beyond the screen.

Are these accessories worth the investment?

Depends on who you’re asking. Both drivers function as standard Xbox gamepads, compatible with the X/S series, PC via USB-C or Bluetooth, and cloud playback platforms. There are no mechanical advantages offered by the Doom brand – no adaptive triggers, no liver returns beyond the standard, and no built-in customization software unless you drive for the Elite version.

However, in a world where players increasingly treat their platforms and accessories as expressions of identity, aesthetics matters. Doom devices allow players to dive into the game even when they don’t play it. According to Mashable, visceral details such as blood-stained handles and rune buttons are not only the stylistic style – making the game physically real, anchoring its humour and mythology in its hands.

Where and when can you find them?

Here’s a quick breakdown:

Standard Doom Controller: $79.99 — Available now for preorder at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and the Microsoft Store. Ships April 30, 2025.

Doom Elite Series 2 Controller: $199.99 — Exclusive preorder via Microsoft Store. Launches April 25, 2025.

Doom Xbox Series X Wrap: $54.99 — Available now at the Microsoft Store.

All three accessories are officially authorized in limited edition. And with Doom’s popularity, especially after the acclaim of the Eternal Doom, long-time collectors and fans may want to act quickly. These items are not just striking supplements; They are likely to become wanted memories in the years to come.

Ultimately, Doom 2025’s return is not just about killing demons. This is a rich and sensory experience that extends from the screen to the tip of the fingers. Whether you’re on the move for the battle in the cursed ruins of hell or just leaning on your friends during your next multiplayer session, these new accessories are more than just thematic plastic. They are part of the legend: blood, peaks, runes and everything.

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 16, 2025 – At a time when digital privacy is increasingly under siege, Google silently introduced a new subtle but powerful feature to Android devices that promises to make unauthorized access to data much more difficult. With the deployment of Google Play Services version 25.14, Android smartphones will now automatically restart if left blocked and unused for three consecutive days. Although change may seem less surface-based, its impact on user safety is important and timely.

According to the launch notes of the last update of Google Play Services, this new feature is designed for the transition of a blocked device in its “before first unlock” (BFU) state after three days of inactivity. In this state, user data remains encrypted and biometrics is disabled, requiring a manual entry of the access code. The update, observed by TechCrunch and confirmed by 9to5Google, places Android closer to the Apple security model, which has used a similar measure since last year. As Mashable pointed out, even law enforcement agencies fought to break the devices in BFU state, highlighting the added safety layer that this restart feature provides.

So why does a simple restart matter so much in cybersecurity? The answer lies in how data is stored and accessible on modern smartphones. Once a device unlocks, even once, some encrypted data becomes more accessible. This state, known as the “After the First Unlock” (AFU), is precisely when digital forensic tools strike. Tools such as Cellebrite exploit the vulnerabilities of the USB drivers’ kernel and firmware to extract data from captured or stolen devices. By forcing a restart, Google effectively hardens the device’s defenses, blocking it and reencrypting sensitive data that might otherwise be vulnerable.

How Auto-Rebot works on Android?

Here we go. Once a device is blocked and not used for 72 hours, it automatically restarts. When restarting, the device returns to BFU state, which means that the only way to get access is through the user’s physical access code. Biometry, such as fingerprints or facial recognition, is temporarily disabled until such time as this code is introduced. This seemingly minor change in user behaviour – the promotion of more frequent code entries – results in a significant increase in security.

Google has not yet provided detailed documentation on whether this feature will be mandatory or optional, or whether it will be enabled by default on all Android devices. However, industry analysts speculate that it is most likely to be available on new Android phones and tablets in the coming weeks. According to BleepingComputer, Google Play Service updates are known to come out gradually, which means that some users may not see the change immediately. Even so, its inclusion in Play Services instead of linking to a full operating system update (like Android 16) means that adoption could be wide and fast.

Historically, Android has faced criticism for fragmented and inconsistent security on all devices, especially compared to Apple’s highly controlled ecosystem. However, this update shows a maturation approach: the application of high-impact features via background services rather than relying solely on the main updates of the operating system. As Forbes pointed out, these often outdated Play Services updates become critical tools in Google’s cybersecurity arsenal, allowing rapid and less disruptive improvements to user protection.

What does that mean for stolen phones?

One of the most immediate benefits of the automatic restart function is its deterrent value for phone thieves. As TechRadar reported, stolen aircraft often feed and remain in the state of AFU, allowing the wrong actors to extract data or try circumvention methods. By running a 72-hour restart window, Android essentially closes this opportunity window. This considerably complicates efforts to sell stolen phones on the black market, as the encrypted state, blocked by BFU, makes the devices virtually unusable without the original identifiers.

This feature is aligned with the efforts already seen in Android privacy based derivatives like GrapheneOS, which has long defended similar features. In fact, GrapheneOS introduced an even more aggressive version of this security measure by reset devices after only 18 hours of inactivity. Although Google’s three-day calendar is less strict, it strikes a balance between user safety and comfort. According to GrapheneOS documentation, even this modest delay can compromise many of the forensic extraction techniques used by cybercriminals and law enforcement.

According to Amnesty International, tools like Celebrite’s have been known to operate unblocked or half-blocked Android devices. The state of the BFU effectively neutralizes these tools, unless they are accompanied by rare and expensive farms of a zero day. This makes the new Android restart policy a key shield in the fight against unauthorized surveillance, especially in areas where activists and journalists are more at risk of device seizures.

How will users be affected daily?

Although most Android users unlock their phones several times a day, the automatic restart function is unlikely to interrupt regular use. Its main function is to serve as silent protection in the case of edges: lost phones, stolen devices or even temporary disuse. For users interested in the nature of sudden restart, there are questions about the configurable configuration by the user. From now on, Google has not confirmed whether they will be made available toggles or grace periods. In any event, the comfort of automatic protection without the need for user intervention will attract many privacy-conscious consumers.

Interestingly, this movement also anticipates future legal and technological landscapes. As forensic technology advances and governments are increasingly interested in access to data, the importance of user encryption controls is increasing. The implementation of recommendations based on Apple’s inactivity has already frustrated police investigations. Now, with Android next combination, the two large mobile ecosystems double privacy, a potentially controversial but certainly user-centred trend.

What are the broader implications?

This new automatic restart function is not an isolated change; It is part of a broader change in how digital ecosystems manage security. Whether the growing use of end-to-end encryption, the removal of default passwords or biometric improvements, technology companies increasingly recognize the complexity and bets of modern digital life. In this context, Android’s restart policy is both a technical advance and a symbolic gesture: your data belongs to you, and even if your device falls into the wrong hands, your secrets must not.

Beyond smartphones, this type of default locking mechanism could be extended to other connected devices: tablets, smartsticks or even IoT systems. The more our fingerprint migrates to mobile platforms, the more important mechanisms such as automatic restart become. And although the 72-hour interval may seem arbitrary, it reflects a careful calibration of the ease of use against safety. Too short, and users could be awkward; Too long, and the malicious actors could pass. The current timetable seems to reach the right agreement, at least as a starting point.

Is there a precedent for this kind of functionality?

Yes, and that’s very convincing. The closest parallel is the reboot of Apple’s inactivity introduced in 2024, which created significant obstacles to forensic analysis. Even the oldest Android security initiatives – such as verified startup, file-based encryption and USB data restrictions – have given way at this time. However, it is the combination of features such as BFU recommenings and robust encryption that turns theoretical security into practical defense. It’s like blocking a vault and throwing away the key until you’re ready to open it. In digital terms, this allows users to breathe from space and mental peace, especially in high-risk environments.

In addition to Google’s movement, other manufacturers like Samsung have already begun to integrate similar policies into their Android skin, One UI. Samsung recently stopped its release from One UI 7, but the company would have worked on strengthening its physical security architecture in response to emerging threats. The collaboration between OEMs and the Android Open Source project on these updates indicates a growing consensus: passive security no longer cuts it. However, subtle measures are needed to cope with the changing threats.

For users, this is a victory. This is the protection you don’t have to think about, but you’ll be happy to have when it matters the most.

So, while April has made one of the scandals of domestic trade and geopolitical tariffs, this Android update behind the scenarios can end up being one of the most shocking changes of the month, just not in the ways they do for sharp sounds. As technology becomes more integrated into our lives, and privacy becomes more challenging, even small software games can reshape the battlefield. For Android users, this battlefield has just become a little safer.

PHOENIX, Arizona, April 14, 2025 – In a bold and strategic movement, NVIDIA announced plans to manufacture artificial intelligence servers and chips for up to $500 billion in the United States over the next four years. The initiative, which involves key alliances with technology giants such as TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Amkor and SPIL, marks a seismic change in the Chipmaker’s overall production strategy and aligns with a broader trend to reduce production of technology under political and economic pressure.

According to NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang, this monumental push on American soil is not just a matter of proximity, but of resilience. “Adding American manufacturing helps us better meet the incredible and growing demand for AI chips and supercomputers, strengthen our supply chain and increase our resilience,” he said on Monday in a statement. The message is clear: NVIDIA sees a future where geopolitical uncertainty, fears of inflation and rising tariffs require a strong national base for innovation in AI.

Production of NVIDIA’s flagship Blackwell AI chips has already begun in the advanced installation of the TSMC in Phoenix, Arizona. Meanwhile, Foxconn and Wistron are in charge of building IA supercomputers in Texas, with production planned for the next 12 to 15 months. To complement this effort, the packaging and testing operations managed by Amkor and SPIL also integrate the Chipmaker supply chain into the US border. Collectively, the plan includes more than a million square feet of manufacturing and testing space.

Why is NVIDIA making this change now?

At the heart of the NVIDIA axis is a mixture of political, economic and industrial dynamics. President Donald Trump’s administration continued to stimulate the local manufacturing industry, taking advantage of the imminent threat of tariffs to push companies into domestic investment. Recently, the United States has exempted certain electronic devices such as smartphones and chips from reciprocal tariffs on China, but has indicated that tariffs on imported chips are on the horizon. The timing of NVIDIA’s announcement, only hours after this exemption, suggested a calculated movement to keep policy changes in advance.

“NVIDIA is unlikely to have moved all production to the United States except for pressure from the Trump administration,” said Gil Luria, Davidson’s analyst. He also noted that the $500 billion figure could be more ambitious than literal, compared to Apple’s promise of half a million dollars earlier this year. Whether symbolic or not, the gesture places NVIDIA firmly in a growing field of American Titans technology by assuming massive domestic investments to eliminate external dependence and volatile global trading conditions.

Former President Trump, now a candidate for re-election, did not measure the words at a White House briefing: “The reason they did it is for the November 5 elections and for the thing called tariffs”

His remarks, while blunt, capture the crux of why companies like NVIDIA are rethinking their supply chain geography.

What does $500 million actually mean in IA infrastructure?

For the untrained eye, the mention of “half billion dollars” might seem hyperbole to the technology industry. But in the context, this means a monumental investment in what NVIDIA exceeds “IA plants” – data centers explicitly designed for AI processing. They’re not your standard server farms. These are gigawatt-level high-density facilities that operate on NVIDIA supercomputers, designed to train, deploy and operate AI models in the health industries to finance independent vehicles.

These facilities will not only be cutting-edge, they will be smart. NVIDIA plans to design and manage them using its own technologies. NVIDIA’s Omniverse Platform will create factory digital twins, real-time virtual models for predictive analysis and optimization. Meanwhile, NVIDIA Isaac GR00T, its robotic suite, goes to energy automation through manufacturing lines, transforming these centres into centres of innovation as much as production.

By vertically integrating the design, simulation, production and deployment of AI infrastructure, NVIDIA effectively creates an ecosystem in which it not only owns the chip, but also the entire AI cell. This level of control could result in unparalleled efficiency, scalability and performance in the race to lead the AI revolution.

What impact will this have on the American economy?

The implications for the US economy are important. According to NVIDIA, the initiative is expected to generate hundreds of thousands of jobs in the coming decades. This includes functions in flea manufacturing, data centre operations, logistics, robotics, software engineering and artificial intelligence development. For states such as Arizona and Texas, the technical centres of the sun belt considered for a long time, the influx of high technology production could be transformative, not only by diversifying their economies, but also by attracting auxiliary industries such as clean energy and advanced logistics.

Moreover, if inflation remains a concern, domestic manufacturing could help moderate consumer prices by reducing dependence on unstable international supply chains. As economic analysts say, reducing exposure to foreign shocks – from pandemic shocks to geopolitical tensions – gives companies like NVIDIA greater price power and greater supply predictability. It’s a long-term game, but it could offer competitive advantages that go far beyond simple logistics.

“They are not just factories, they are platforms for national competitiveness,” said one entrepreneur. This sentiment echoes Washington, where bi-partite support for technology resupply has increased, particularly for sectors considered essential to economic and national security.

What role do partners like TSMC, Foxconn and Wistron Play play?

Although NVIDIA is American, much of its historical muscle comes from Taiwanese partners like TSMC, which produces most of its chips. By commissioning the new TSMC plant in Arizona to produce its next generation Blackwell chips, NVIDIA ensures that it maintains the capabilities of world-class TSMC semiconductors while bringing this excellence to its home.

Foxconn and Wistron, both based in Taiwan, are leading the manufacturing effort of AI supercomputers in Texas. Foxconn will be in Houston, while Wistron will operate from Dallas. Its presence highlights the global nature of chips: although the United States can house plants, it remains dependent on international knowledge and equipment. This mixture of American soil and Taiwanese experience is part of what makes this effort realistic and evolutionary.

In addition, the packaging and testing of Amkor and SPIL, also in use in the United States, complement the internal end-to-end value chain. This not only improves the resilience of the NVIDIA supply chain, but also serves as a model for other chip manufacturers seeking to emulate their footprint.

Is it a political theatre or a long-term strategy?

Time cannot be denied: only months before the 2025 presidential elections. Critics argue that these announcements are often politically loaded, designed to stop the favor of an administration wishing to win economically. Others, like Luria, point out that these promises sometimes do not translate into tangible results – Apple’s $500 billion promise, which is cited as a case at this stage.

However, unlike many steam promises, NVIDIA’s plan is already underway. TSMC started producing Blackwell chips. The Foxconn and Wistron plants are under construction. And the scale of the infrastructure, supported by some of the most valuable and innovative technology companies, suggested that it is not a public relations movement but a fundamental change. As NVIDIA has indicated, the objective is not only to locate manufacturing, but to redefine how AI infrastructure is conceptualized, built and deployed.

In many ways, this marks the beginning of the United States, which is becoming not only a leading consumer of AI, but a primary producer. As AI is expected to contribute to the global economy over the next decade, being at the epicenter of this evolution could redefine the U.S. economic landscape for generations.

There is also a more subtle story here about the resumption of Western control over technology that increasingly defines global power. At a time when data, not oil, feed growth, NVIDIA AI plants can be the new oil platforms.

If the $500 billion price tag is aspirational or precise, the symbolic and strategic significance of NVIDIA’s investment is difficult to overestimate. It represents a reorganization of the world technology map, with implications ranging from the Arizona Desert to Washington, D.C., and beyond.

As the world observes the next chapter of IV, one thing is clear: the engines of tomorrow’s digital economy are forged today in the heart of America.

BRUSSELS, Belgium, 14 April 2025 – The latest NATO movement to modernize its defence capabilities has made a tremendous leap with the acquisition of the smart Palantir Maven (NATO MSS), a state-of-the-art military intelligence platform developed by Palantir Technologies Inc. According to the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), this strategic acquisition marks one of the fastest acquisitions of software in the history of the Alliance and represents a decisive moment for transatlantic military cooperation and the integration of AI into the war.

Palantir Technologies, an American data analysis company, saw its shares increase by 5.3% after the announcement. The agreement indicates both an operational update for NATO and a boost of confidence in the AI software of the Palantir battlefield, already widely used by US forces. The integration of Maven Smart System into NATO Allied Operations Headquarters (ACO) should redefine how they are analyzed, interpreted and applied in real time, using a new era of decision-making and AI-supported warfare.

What is NATO of Maven’s intelligent system?

Maven Intelligent System NATO, known as MSS NATO, is an integral battlefield awareness platform designed to synthesize vast disparate data sequences into a unified operational image. According to Layman, imagine an intelligent brain that draws live food, satellite images, communication files, logistical reports, and more, then interprets everything in seconds to suggest what a general should do next. This is the promise of NATO MSS.

According to Senior Advisor Palantir Shon Manasco, the system incorporates advanced impact assessment techniques, including major language and machine learning models, to support strategic decision-making. It aims to improve intelligence fusion, streamline selection processes, increase battlefield awareness and reduce the time between threat recognition and effective response. In a world where milliseconds can mean the difference between success and failure, this edge is priceless.

Why did NATO choose Palantir?

The question arises: Why has NATO, a multinational defence alliance representing 31 countries, chosen Palantir for such a critical deployment? The answer lies in both speed and capacity. As Ludwig Decamps, Director General of NCIA, said, the system offers the Alliance “advanced intelligence capabilities”, enabling Member States to take advantage of advanced technologies without sacrificing speed or flexibility.

In fact, the entire procurement process, from defining requirements to final procurement, was completed in a six-month log. This is almost unknown in large-scale defence recruitment, where bureaucracy and bureaucracy tend to lengthen decision cycles in years. General Markus Laubenthal, Chief of Staff of SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters of Allied Powers Europe), said that MSS NATO allows the Alliance to approve complex data and accelerate decision-making, which is a clear warning of the evolving nature of the conflict in the digital era.

How will the NATO MSS be used?

The main application of the NATO MSS will be in NATO Allied Command operations. Your target? Help military leaders navigate the chaos of modern war. By integrating AI-inspired ideas into real-time operational frameworks, commanders can make faster and more informed decisions. For example, in a joint NATO operation with several countries, NATO’s MSS can immediately identify threats, allocate resources and make strategic recommendations based on the latest battlefield data.

According to NCIA, the fundamental force of the platform is to convert raw data into achievable intelligence. In environments where data are often fragmented – between air, sea, cyber and land - MSS NATO provides a unified goal. This ensures that all NATO forces operate from a single source of truth, significantly reducing the breakdown of conflicting communications or directives.

Is this a sign of other thefts in defense technology?

Sure. The acquisition of the NATO MSS by the Alliance highlights a broader transformation of defence doctrine: the pivot of man-led war towards war with the help of AI. According to William Blair’s analyst, Louie DiPalma, the agreement is of geopolitical importance, insinuating Europe’s nuanced position in the balance of defence independence with the continued dependence of US technology suppliers. Although there has been growing rhetoric about reducing European dependence on US companies, actions like this speak louder than words.

Palantir, considered primarily as a national defence and intelligence contractor, is increasingly positioning itself as a global AI defence partner. The company has used its experience in the fight against terrorism and the analysis of national security to extend to areas of activity such as health and finance. However, defence remains its strength. In 2024 alone, Palantir’s stock rose to 340%, fuelled by geopolitical changes and growing demand for advanced AI systems after the American electoral cycles.

What are the risks and concerns?

No technological progress is without concern. One of the most immediate issues is the possibility of budget cuts for defence, particularly in the US Department of Defense, which remains Palantir’s largest client. According to analysts, there is also uncertainty about the long-term dependence of a single provider of strategic platforms, particularly in sensitive areas such as the AI war. At a time when cyber threats and hybrid warfare are increasing, critics argue that the ability to analyze over-centralized data could become a single point of failure.

In addition, international privacy advocates and watchdogs closely monitor the expansion of AI in military settings. Issues of ethical deployment, biases in algorithms and unintended consequences of autonomous decision-making are very important. However, supporters stress that these risks can be managed with appropriate oversight and transparency.

What does this mean for Palantir’s future?

From the investment point of view, the NATO agreement is a strategic victory that validates Palantir’s focus on international defence markets. Analyst Wedbush Daniel Ives described him as “another triumph for Karp & Co.” - a nod to the growing influence of CEO Alex Karp in the AI military space. Palantir stock now quotes about $98, with analysts seeing a new point of purchase following a double background model. The company currently has a rating of 99, a bullish indicator that suggests strong institutional confidence.

However, not everything is pink. While the NATO agreement is expected to stabilize short-term revenue flows, long-term growth may depend on how Palantir diversifys its portfolio beyond defence. Its ambitions in sectors such as health and financial services are still growing. AI platforms designed for business clients are in development, but the defence sector is still its cash cow.

How quickly will the system be implemented?

Speed has been a recurring problem throughout this agreement, and deployment is no exception. The NATO of Maven’s intelligent system should be fully operational within 30 days at NATO Headquarters. Such a rapid turn is rare in defence circles and reflects both the maturity of the system and the urgency with which NATO sees the integration of AI.

As noted by NCIA, this rapid deployment was facilitated by the modular design of the system and the existing deployment in the US military environment. With the minimum customization required, MSS NATO can be directly integrated into NATO’s digital control structure with ease. This creates a precedent for future acquisitions, which could be used in a new era of agile defence acquisition.

In short, NATO’s alliance with Palantir for the deployment of Maven’s intelligent system marks more than another technological acquisition. It highlights a strategic commitment to the AI war, faster decision-making and closer transatlantic cooperation. It also affirms Palantir’s role as the dominant force in the AI global defence sector, redefining how they plan, fight and win wars in the 21st century.

LOS ANGELES, California, April 11, 2025 – As consumers become more selective in their technological spending, Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) contests the odds. Based on current sales trends observed by Amazon and confirmed by the MacRumors and Cult of Mac price tracking reports, the Apple Watch SE 2 comes out of virtual tablets, thanks to a substantial fall in prices and its surprisingly rich features. From health monitoring to the perfect integration of the iPhone, this smart watch adapted to the budget wins both skeptics and loyals.

According to Amazon, Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) is currently down to $170, a total of $70 of its original price $250. The largest version of 44mm is also reduced, selling for $199.97 of its usual list price $279. These discounts represent up to 32% discount, marking the lowest prices observed for the aircraft in 2025. Buyers can choose between several combinations of enclosures and groups, although some options such as the Starlight sports group are not included in the agreement. This type of aggressive price is not only unusual for Apple products, but has transformed what was already considered a solid value into a brainless purchase for many.

What distinguishes Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen)?

The Apple Watch SE may not boast of all the bells and whistles of the top-of-the-range models of the 10 series or Ultra, but what is missing in the air is the practical aspect. As Apple has indicated, the SE includes essential features such as physical fitness monitoring, sleep monitoring, falls and falls detection, and heart rate monitoring, all wrapped in an elegant design that is easy to combine with any iPhone.

Many buyers discover the value of these features through their personal experience. In the user reviews compiled by Amazon, several users highlighted the opportunity to be cancelled to travel for long sedentary periods and automatic sleep cycle monitoring. An examiner wrote:,

“There’s never been an Apple Watch before and I didn’t want to pay a ton for the new model. This watch is amazing. The battery lasts at least 24 hours. I’m taking him to bed to track sleep and heart rate. The activity reminders are excellent for you to move. Very recommended for anyone wearing a daily watch.”

These feelings echo thousands of reviewers, contributing to an impressive 4.7 star rating on Amazon.

Does Apple Watch SE fit users for the first time?

Sure. In fact, this is probably the best entry into the Apple Watch ecosystem. As Cult of Mac pointed out, a budget conscious friend looking for her first smart watch was directed to SE 2 without hesitation. The reasoning was simple, it is less than half the cost of Apple’s flagship models, but it retains all the features a new user needs. From follow-up training on message notifications and even Apple Pay, everything is less the overwhelming complexity or the luxury price.

According to the same report, most users are pleasantly surprised by the way the watch is perfectly integrated into their daily routines. Whether you check notifications without entering your phone, record drug recalls, or using the Double Tap function for calls and music control, Apple Watch SE makes smart technology intuitive rather than intrusive.

What’s up with WatchOS 11 for Apple Watch SE?

WatchOS 11 breathed a new life into Apple Watch SE, aligning it more closely with the user experience found in price models. One of the most notable updates is automatic sleep detection. Previously, users had to manually configure sleep routines: a feature that was often not used. Now, the clock does the work quietly in the background, providing users with accurate sleep data every morning.

In addition, WatchOS 11 introduces better drive measures, rupture activity rings and even more granular control on daily targets. These improvements are not exclusive to series 10; They are also fully accessible in SE 2, offering excellent utility without forcing users to buy $400+.

How does Apple Watch SE compare to Series 10?

In an in-depth review by ZDNet’s Prakhar Khanna, who returned to smart watches after a three-year break, the Apple Watch Series 10 offers several compelling updates, including a larger OLED LTPO 3 screen, advanced sensors for sleep apnea detection and a better battery life. However, Series 10 is almost double the price of SE 2, starting with approximately $399.

That asks the question – do you really need extras? For users who do not need the latest screen technology or the extended battery life, the SE 2 always does a blow. It makes admirably daily use and shares much of the same health surveillance and WatchOS 11 features. As Khanna himself admitted, Apple Watch’s basic experience – tracking sleep, drug recalls and voice isolation in calls – is so valuable in SE 2.

Can you replace a traditional watch?

Depends on what I like. Traditionalists may still prefer the mechanical elegance of a Seiko or citizen, especially for formal occasions. But if versatility and function exceed aesthetic purity, then yes – Apple Watch SE can serve as underwear. It supports a variety of band styles, from casual sports curls to leather and metal options, easily adapting on different occasions.

Users like Khanna pointed out that while the 10 Jet Black series makes it stylish enough for business meetings, the SE 2 is not far behind when combined with the right accessories. And thanks to its lightweight and comfortable adjustment construction, taking during the night or during intense training is not heavy.

How is the loading experience with Apple Watch SE?

One of the long-standing complaints about smart watches was their dependence on night pay. SE 2, although it does not last several days, has improved in this regard. Most users say they get more than one full day of use, and the device loads quickly - often reaching 100% in one hour with modern chargers.

Khanna mentions the use of a Nomad Stand One Max 3-in-1 charger that loads its 10 series while preparing for the day. The same comfort extends to SE 2. Many users no longer see the load as a load, especially when devices now offer smarter alerts for low batteries and support functions as a charging reminder before starting sleep tracking.

You buy it now?

There is no sugar coating – this agreement is hot. With the summer approach and health goals in sight, a smart watch can be a motivating partner. Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen) stands out as the soft spot between accessibility and functionality. It supports the latest software, provides vital health information and fits perfectly into Apple’s ecosystem.

For less than $200, few usables offer the same value. According to Cult of Mac and MacRumors, Amazon’s time-limited price marks the lowest point we’ve seen so far in 2025. And with the growing interest of consumers in usable technology, it is unlikely that these aggressive discounts will persist indefinitely.

If you have been on the fence to buy your first smart watch – or updating a much older model - is now the ideal time to take the plunger. With Apple Watch SE 2, you get more than a gadget. You buy in a mature ecosystem with one of the most reliable names of technology, at a price that ultimately feels reasonable.

TOKYO, Japan, 7 April 2025 – In the global AI arms race, attention is often paid to Western hyperclimateists and Chinese technology giants. But in silence and constantly, Japan has built itself a formidable AI ecosystem. At the heart of this evolution is the artificial intelligence cloud infrastructure project (ABCI), an initiative that began in 2017 and has now reached its third phase with ABCI 3.0. With the largest AI-based supercomputer system outside the United States, Japan has a distinct niche: a sovereign, efficient and research-oriented AI infrastructure.

The origins of the vision of the Japanese AI factory

In March 2017, the prototype of AI Bridging Cloud Infrastructure (ABCI), called AIST AI Cloud (AAIC), laid the foundation for what would become a pillar of IA national computing. Built by NEC for Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), it was one of the first global attempts to integrate accelerated GPU computing with cloud accessibility. At a time when the cloud-based AI infrastructure remained nascent, even in North America, the AAIC experience has placed Japan as a silent pioneer.

According to AIST’s Ryousei Takano, Japan faced a paradox in 2017: while industrial interest in AI increased, the infrastructure for large-scale experiments was lacking. This vacuum gave rise to ABCI 1.0, a bold 5 billion project developed by Fujitsu. Target? He believes that what will later be called the world’s first artificial intelligence plant: a multi-user, high-performance cluster equipped with cloud for artificial intelligence workloads.

“There was no room for large-scale AI experiments,” Takano said in an interview with The Next Platform. “Providing AI infrastructure for all was our strong motivation to create ABCI 1.0. »

How have ABCI 1.0 and 2.0 changed the Japanese landscape of AI?

ABCI 1.0 was not only powerful, it was strategic. With more than 4300 GPUs Nvidia Volta V100, it marked Japan’s affirmation of AI sovereignty. The cluster was deliberately built on open software batteries and supported a wide range of tools, from Docker containers to AI frames such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. It was also one of the few facilities in the world to support a hybrid of traditional HPC tools with modern AI needs.

Three years later, in May 2021, the ABCI 2.0 extension arrived. With another investment of 2 billion yen, AIST added 120 knots driven by Nvidia and InfiniBand’s Ampère A100 interconnections. The result? A 50 per cent increase in return for an additional 40 per cent budget shows that Japan is focusing on profitability and value.

The singularity container platform has also been integrated, enhancing user flexibility and supporting a wide range of AI interference models. According to HPCWire, this movement was essential to maintain compatibility with NIM (NVIDIA Inference Microservice) formats, the key to implementing containerized AI tasks on a scale.

What does ABCI 3.0 do with a game change?

In January 2025, Japan presented ABCI 3.0, a -35 billion force built by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Using the Cry XD670 server nodes equipped with the new Nvidia Hopper H200 processors, ABCI 3.0 offers impressive capabilities: 415 petaflops with FP64 precision and an incredible 6.22 exaflops on FP16. These figures are not just specifications; they reflect a jump seven times higher than the previous ABCI combined infrastructure.

Each Hopper GPU has 141 GB of HBM3e memory with 4.8 TB/dry bandwidth, a specification that responds directly to one of the main AI challenges: memory bottle necks. “Additional memory and bandwidth allow Hopper’s GPUs to address their theoretical performance in real world workloads,” said The Next Platform.

The ABCI 3.0 network architecture is equally ambitious. With 6 128 GPUs linked to 200 Gb/dry NDR InfiniBand, the topology of three-level trees guarantees a complete bandwidth of the two-critical section for IA workloads that depend largely on communication between GPUs.

Who uses ABCI and for what?

The ABCI system has over 3,000 users, ranging from start-ups in artificial intelligence to electronic conglomerates. Although modelling is the main workload, the infrastructure is sufficiently versatile to manage simulation, analysis and even national research projects.

A major initiative is the LLM Building Support Program, launched in August 2023. In this context, Japan has begun to develop major language models such as PLaMo and Swallow, which are essential to maintaining linguistic and cultural nuance in IA systems in the Japanese language. According to Tech In Asia, these models are intended for commercial and governmental applications.

And then what? AIST aims to create physical AI systems, where the sensory input of the real world is fed directly into AI models, which then guide robotic systems. “It’s about creating a cyberphysical ecosystem,” said Takano. This is a vision where real-time feedback loops on AI can affect manufacturing industries in disaster response.

How is ABCI compared to AI’s global infrastructure?

The ABCI of Japan contrasts with the centralized AI infrastructure managed by dominant companies in the US and China. Instead of relying only on the hyperclimates of high technology, ABCI focuses on shared national infrastructure. This approach aligns with what industry trainees now call “IA sovereignty,” that is, a country’s ability to develop and operate AI systems independently.

According to Asia Nikkei, the Japanese model has inspired the interest of neighbouring countries seeking to strengthen their own capacity for sovereign artificial intelligence. In many ways, the ABCI of Japan resembles a “public use of AI”: a concept that could gain global traction as data location and digital autonomy concerns grow.

In addition, ABCI systems emphasize the need for heterogeneity in IT environments IA. While American giants like OpenAI use custom silicon with Nvidia chips, Japan continues to rely heavily on Nvidia’s GPU. But it could change.

Can Japan appear in AI chip innovation?

There is growing agreement that the future of Japanese AI cannot be left alone in importing GPUs. Get into startups like Revelion. As MK.co.kr said, the AI semiconductor recently opened a Tokyo branch to take advantage of the growing Japanese market in AI data centres. The company is already testing PoC with Japanese cloud providers and telecommunications giants.

The CEO of Revelion Park Sung-hyun stressed that Japan’s IT infrastructure should include both training and inference accelerators. He mentions DeepSeek, a Chinese start-up that uses GPus Nvidia for training and Huawei’s NPus Ascend for inference, as a model of architectural diversity. “When building AI infrastructure, it must consist of two types: Nvidia and Nvidia products,” Park wrote on social media last month.

This sentiment echoes the national view that Japan’s AI strategy should be expanded beyond procurement and include long-term investments in semiconductor design. By diversifying its portfolio, Japan can protect itself from future supply chain disruptions and geopolitical dependencies.

What future for ABCI and Japanese AI?

Although there is no immediate plan for an ABCI 4.0, the incremental updates to ABCI 3.0 are on the horizon. “We intend to gradually update ABCI 3.0 in the coming years,” said Mr. Takano. “Any decision on future UPGs or interconnections will depend on the new user requirements. “

Japan’s AI strategy is pragmatic, not exotic. Instead of pursuing appalling milestones, it invests in long-term and cost-effective infrastructure that serves national interests. It is a model that favours access, sovereignty and research over hypocrite.

Whether to support AI startups, accelerate university research or form the next Japanese generation of LLM, ABCI 3.0 is a silent giant of the AI era. And as the race deepens, Japan’s approach could offer the balance between innovation and the independence the world needs.
