Increase IDM Download Speed using IDM Optimizer

Internet Download Manager as we said is the best download manager right now available as compared to any other download manager like DAP, Microsoft Lightweight Download Manager, Orbit and many others. Well we just got our hands on IDM Optimizer, it’s a small utility which boosts your IDM speed by modifying some registry entries. like it will change Connection Speed, Connection type, Max Connection Numbers and some other few entries.

So this is the Window you will see when you will fire up the IDM Optimizer software. So it has a simple Maximize Now button which when clicked will popup a note to restart IDM so that it can take effect. Well you can see it also has a Restore Default button which will restore all the settings which IDM came with. You can use that if you think that you are not getting good speeds.

iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S to get cheaper in India

With the launch of iPhone 5, the previous versions of this famous smartphone, the iPhone 4 and 4S have gone cheaper. The 16GB iPhone 4S is expected drop in its price by an amount of Rs 3,100 which brings the cost down to Rs 41,400. The iPhone 3GS, which last saw a price cut to Rs 9,999 via Aircel, has been discontinued. The 8 GB iPhone 4, now the new entry-level iPhone, gets a price cut of Rs 9,100 to Rs 28,300.

According to BGR.in, Apple will not be selling the iPhone 5 through Airtel or Aircel, and has appointed Ingram Micro and Redington for the launch of the iPhone 5 in India. The phone is expected to launch in India by November.

However, the newest version is already available online and in the grey market at starting prices of Rs 60,000 for the 16 GB version and a mammoth amount of Rs 1,05,000 for the 64 GB variant.
The phone uses a nano-SIM, an even more slimmer version of the SIM card than its predecessor, which will have to be sourced from the carrier.

Three Apple resellers in Bangalore gave no confirmation on the availability of stocks and the new prices of the iPhone 4 or 4S.

NEW DELHI: Google took the curtains off the Nexus 5 smartphone and Android 4.4 (KitKat), the latest version of its mobile operating system. The company said that the device is now available in major international markets via Play Store, but also announced that it is coming soon to India.
In line with leaked details, the new Nexus 5 smartphone has a 4.95-inch LCD screen with Full HD (1080p) resolution and protected by Gorilla Glass 3 panel. It packs the 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor under the hood, with 2GB RAM. The device will be available in 16 and 32GB versions (with no microSD support) and come in white and black colours.
On the back, Nexus 5 sports an 8MP camera with optical image stabilization, 1/3.2-inch sensor and f/2.4 aperture. LED flash is present on the back, while a 1.3MP unit is used in front. Its connectivity suite consists of 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and LE, NFC and microUSB. Powered by a 2,300mAh battery, this device has wireless charging and will cost $349 in the US market without contract.
Instead of the glass body that was used in Nexus 4, the new model sports a plastic shell with a “silky texture,” as the chief of Android Sundar Pichai put it. Early hands-on reviews of the device say that this material has soft touch matte finish similar to that of Nexus 7 tablet. Instead of plastic, volume rocker and Power/Lock keys are made of technical ceramic material.
Just like Nexus 4, Google has partnered with LG to manufacture the new device.
The new Android 4.4 operating system that was launched today has been optimized for low-cost smartphones and tablets and is currently available only for Nexus 5. It will be released for Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets, Nexu 4 smartphone and the Google Play versions of Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One in coming weeks.

Receive SMS alerts on new incoming mail in Gmail Inbox

Facebook can be used through SMS, you can update your status, become Fan of a Facebook Page, Subscribe to Status updates of a person, Add a New Friend and you can do a lot more via SMS using your ordinary phone. Even if you own a Smart Phone or Internet Enabled Phone, you can still learn to use Facebook through SMS, cause its going to come handy sometimes.

Activate Facebook Texts

1. Login into your Facebook Profile

2. Go to Account Settings and Click “Mobile” tab and Click “Add a Phone”

3. Select your “Country” and “Choose your Carrier”

4. Now Text the letter F to the appropriate Number, once you send the SMS you will receive a Confirmation code on your phone, enter this code in the box provided and that’s it.
If you are in India and if you are a customer of Aircel, Airtel, MTS, Rreliance CDMA and Tata Docomo then text the letter F to 51555 else text the letter F to 9232232665

Now you can send Text Messages to 9232232665 and access Facebook via SMS, Facebook doesn’t charge anything. Your mobile service provider’s Standard message rates apply. Its better if you have free SMS.
