Just follow the steps i will provide. Firstly i want to tell you that this is the best rom ever for samsung wave S8500 because everything works correctly like SIM, MODEM, WIFI, APPS etc. First of all install the NAND version of the Android Jellybean 4.2.2 Rom on your Samsung wave.

Linux is not allowing anybody to directly root its distribution, because if you logged in as root and done something wrong in the root, then the whole operating system will be corrupted and get crash.

But you can login as root by sudo command.

It is very simple to root ubuntu 10.04 in GUI [Graphical User Interface]

If you really want to root ubuntu 10.04 then just follw these simple steps and try yourself:

Step 1

Open the terminal in Ubuntu by clicking on Applications then Accessories then select Terminal or simply Type [Alt+Ctrl+T]

Step 2

Now type this command in terminal => ubuntuuser@ubuntuuser-desktop:~$ sudo passwd root

Step 3

It will appear => [sudo] password for ubuntuuser:

Then type your current password in the terminal.

Step 4

Now it will apper => Enter new UNIX password:

Then type your new password for the root access then retype password again.

Step 5

Now logout from the current session and login again by choosing other user account at login prompt .

Now in the place of username write root and password that you have created in above step.

And you have just done it. Enjoy the root access and do whatever you want to change in it but after finishing the administrative task you should return to the normal mode and be careful .

But don't be panic , today i will tell you step by step how to install Android 4.0 icecream sandwich on your HTC wildfire s smart phone.

If you really wanted to install android 4.0 icecream sandwich on your htc wildfire s, so just follow these simple steps.

Before getting started please make sure you have installed htc drivers on your pc.

The phone should have atleast 60% of the battery, because if your phone goes off suddenly during flashing ROM or installing due to battery then it may go dead forever. So better you charge your phone before being started.

Backup your important data which you dont want to lost, because it may blank your phone data.

The steps are very simple just see and try yourself:

Step 1:

Your phone bootloader should be unlocked. To unlock it go to HTC dev .

Now Highlight to CM9 zipfile and select it by pressing power button again. Confirm the installation on the next screen and now the installing procedure will start.

Step 11:

When the istallation will complete then go to +++++Go Back and restart your HTC phone by selecting reboot system now from the recovery menu and please wait, it will take sometime to reboot because now it will be rebooting first time.

Final Step:

Show your friends that you are using android 4.0 icecream sandwich on your HTC wildfire S phone and raise up your social status.
