It’s a strange feeling when your days are full, but your memory of them is blurry. Like you were busy from morning to night, yet somehow the month looks thin when you glance back. I’ve been feeling that a lot lately—time is real, but it’s also weirdly… slippery.

But here I am, brushing off the digital dust, and it’s a huge relief to be back. I’ve missed this space more than I missed my morning coffee during the great hotel-room kettle shortage of 2025 (a story for another day). So, let me explain where I’ve been... before you start thinking I’ve been abducted by aliens or, worse, joined a silent meditation retreat.

What Happened? The Perfect Storm of Adulting

Is it a bit extra? Absolutely. Is it also kind of brilliant? Yeah, I think so. Samsung’s basically taken everything we love about tablets and TVs, smashed them together, and put a handle on top. The battery could be better, and the lack of Dolby Vision stings a little at this price, but the overall package feels surprisingly thoughtful.
