Sjoukje at ABN-AMRO tennis tournament

Tu 14-Feb-2012: Sjoukje was invited to visit the ABN-AMRO tennis tournament in Rotterdam. Due to her employer relationship with the bank she got the invitation. Unfortunately the Dutch tennis players were eliminated during their matches that night.

Su 12-Feb-2012. After 2 weeks of bitter freezing cold in The Netherlands, tonight was the final winter night. The weather service has predicted rising temperatures for tomorrow and after. It was above zero degrees (Celsius) after tonight. After a final snow fall we took this picture during a dark evening with 6 seconds camera aperture (click on picture to enlarge).

Petra, Peter, Joelle and Quinn were visiting us

Su 04-Feb-2012: Petra, Peter, Joelle and Quinn were visiting us. Joelle and Ton went ice skating first. Then we went home for drinks and dinner. It was a cold but clear day. Temperatures at night dropped to -13 degrees (Celsius).

Danique’s sleepover at Henk and Yvonne

Sa 21-Jan-2012: Danique was very exited to stay at Henk and Yvonne tonight for a sleepover, while Sjoukje and Ton enjoyed the sub tropical swimming paradise at Preston Palace in Almelo.

Su 22-Jan-2012 15.00: Sjoukje an Ton picked up Danique at Henk en Yvonne. After visiting grandma and grandpa they went home.

Mateus and Anita visiting

14-Jan-2012: Cycling with daddy

Sa 14-Jan-2012: Today Danique went cycling in the neighbourhood with daddy. First daddy walked while Danique was on her bike. But soon daddy took out his own bike and accompanied Danique on her tour, exploring the roads. It was the first time Danique was on her bike hitting the roads. At times they stopped at places like neighbourhood playgrounds.
