So... I am starting back up my Project Life this year with a photo-a-day and/or a minimum of 7 photos per week for 2011 (started January 1st, 2011). So far, so good. When I received my PL box of goodies from Amazon, I grabbed my video camera and (one-handed no less, LOL!) and shot this un-boxing of the PL contents.
I am excited to document my life/memories of my family with this method (if you recall I did one with the original Project 365 a few years back). Even though I am a die-hard scrapbooker, I tend to LOVE this everyday concept to actually get things documented in a guilt-free fashion. I always have so much going on that it is so much easier for me to do it this way (and then I will go back and possibly add-in some scrapbook pages right into these pages as well).
Hope you subscribe to my Create Scrapbooks YouTube channel and follow along with me on the PL journey this year!

So, I thought I would quickly write up an honest review of the handy Dymo LabelWriter 450 Duo since I have been using it a lot lately!
You get all of this inside the box - enough to get you started on a good-sized project!
This little powerhouse is great for quick mailing labels (business or personal use), and I love that you can add custom images (like a logo or holiday image) right inside the wonderful software. The best thing about this dual-label printer is that there are two places to hold different sizes of labels that you need. The top portion holds larger ones, like mailing, and the other is great for labeling things for organization that is smaller (and the labels come in colors, too!)
I am thrilled there is NO ink EVER to buy (it is a thermal printer) and it really does print the label within seconds! I printed out all my holiday mailing labels out - and was able to customize them according to business or personal use. I printed and customized as I needed since it prints just one at a time. You can also USPS postage and more on this, but I haven't needed (or tried) that feature yet.
Now, the cons are that even with high-resolution, quality images, it still only prints a fair quality impression with the thermal printer. For me it works for what I will use it for - again, love the software (I have a Mac and it was so simple to get up and running with it).
Being a scrapbooker, and small business owner I see myself grabbing this for a lot of uses in the future! I am looking forward to getting some things organized and labeled in the New Year for sure... labeling my stamps in my stamp binder, Cropper Hoppers filled with scrapbook papers, bins, etc. as I get ready for some productive creative time.
