Build Quality: One of the E16's strongest points is its sturdiness and durability. Compared to some of the Lenovo Yoga laptops I’ve reviewed, this machine feels far more solid.
Portability (or lack thereof): Be warned - the E16 is a bulky and heavy laptop. If mobility is your top priority, this is not the laptop for you. I consistently felt the weight in my backpack, making it less than ideal for constant travel.
A Fingerprint Magnet: The chassis, particularly the top lid, is a true fingerprint magnet. Be prepared to wipe it down frequently if you want to keep it looking clean.

Performance: Core Ultra 155H and Integrated Graphics

Hey everyone, and welcome back! I was excited to finally get my hands on the third generation of the Lenovo ThinkPad E16. As many of you know, I spent a good amount of time with the Gen 2, and while it was a solid business machine, there were definitely a few things that needed attention. This is my very first look at the Gen 3, and I wanted to share my initial feedback on what’s improved and what hasn’t.

The E16 Gen 3 I’m reviewing here is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, shared Intel graphics, and 32GB of RAM.

Design and Build: A Familiar Face

If you liked the look of the Gen 2, you’re in luck, because the Gen 3 hasn't changed much. It sticks to the classic all-black ThinkPad design and, most importantly, feels massive and sturdy.

This is still not a light laptop, though. If you were hoping the third generation would shed some weight, you might be disappointed—it feels very similar in size, form factor, and weight to the Gen 2 [00:02:38]. On the plus side, that sturdiness translates to a very solid, reliable feel.

A small but important security win for me is the addition of a physical camera shutter [00:02:09]. I much prefer this to the digital shutters found on some of the cheaper Lenovo models, as it just feels more secure.

The Great Leap: Touchpad and Keyboard

Here’s where Lenovo listened, and it’s a huge relief. One thing I truly couldn't stand about the second generation was the touchpad—it was genuinely awful, to the point where I almost brought the laptop back because of it.

Thankfully, the E16 Gen 3 features a touchpad that is much more responsive [00:03:09]. The click feels significantly better compared to the Gen 2, and while it's not the biggest trackpad, it’s very usable and comfortable.

The keyboard is exactly what you’d expect from a business ThinkPad: comfortable and, crucially, quiet [00:04:00]. Having a quiet keyboard and trackpad is essential when working in shared spaces, and this laptop delivers on that front.

Power, Efficiency, and Battery Life

The Gen 3 uses the second-generation Intel Ultra processors, and the biggest benefit here seems to be efficiency and battery life. The performance is very solid, but the efficiency of this new chip is much better than the previous generation.

I’m talking about being able to easily go a full workday on a single charge if you’re doing standard office work, web browsing, and similar tasks [00:04:44]. Coupled with 32GB of RAM and shared graphics, this machine is definitely capable of handling light 4K video editing or some light gaming [00:05:30]. It’s a very efficient machine that offers excellent daily performance.

The Compromise: The Display

Now for the major downside, and it’s something I always notice in business-focused laptops: the display. In 2025, when we’re seeing 2K, 3K, and 4K screens on even compact laptops, the Gen 3 comes with a relatively low resolution.

The brightness is also nothing to write home about, sitting around 300 to 400 nits [00:06:13]. This is probably where Lenovo is keeping the price down and pushing the brighter, higher-resolution panels to their more premium ThinkPad series.

The silver lining, however, is that it’s a matte IPS screen. This is important because a matte screen helps tremendously in sunlight, and as an IPS panel (not OLED), it should reduce eye fatigue when you’re staring at it all day.

Initial Verdict

The Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 3 is positioned as a mid-level ThinkPad—it’s far from the high-end models, priced around €1,000 to €1,200 depending on the configuration.

Overall, my initial impression is that the Gen 3 addresses a critical flaw (the touchpad) while offering a significant upgrade in battery efficiency. It’s a very solid, reliable machine, even if you have to live with a relatively low-resolution, low-brightness screen. It certainly feels like a ThinkPad should: sturdy and dependable.

My first impressions after using the Xiaomi Mi Smart Scale 2 for couple of weeks

There are probably many reviews for the Xiaomi Mi Smart Scale 2 online, but today it is my turn to share my first consumer impressions with this scale.

Well, to be honest this scale exceeded my expectations in regards to looks and build quality. Since I purchased this product for less than $20, I was expecting something that looks and feels a bit cheaper. Despite the low price, the Mi Smart Scale 2 looks very well made, it is sleek and shall I say elegant in some way. My product is entirely white - the front glass part and the rear which is entirely made of white plastic.

The scale looks like it is going to last some time, at least if the internal components work as expected, so my general feedback is quite positive in regards to looks and feel.

Measuring my weight

Measuring on this scale was quite easy. There aren't any on or off buttons that one needs to click on, you just hop on the scale, wait couple of seconds and it shows the (sad) result on the led display (white colored as well) - as simple as that.

Power supply

The scale is powered by 3x 1.5V AAA batteries that should last for plenty of time. But it all depends on how often you like to measure your weight of course.

Other thoughts

As usually, I am going to remind you that this is not a paid review. I am mentioning this, since today's tests looks a bit too positive. There isn't a single thing that I would say is particularly bad in the Xiaomi Mi Smart Scale 2... probably I would wish it has an internal battery that charges through USB C and lasts for ages. Other than that I can conirm that is one of the best products for under $20 that we have reviewed recently. Sure, I will give it some more time and share additional consumer impressions, especially if any faults occur.

Lenovo Yoga Pro - a mouse with fantastic battery life

If you are looking for a decent mouse with fantastic battery performance, then the Lenovo Yoga Pro might be a good joice

When I started testing the Lenovo Yoga Pro mouse couple of weeks ago I didn't pay much attention of the claimed 3 months of battery life. I checked the manufacturers page and this info was corrrect - depending on the usage you can get pretty satisfying battery performance out of this mouse.

So, in for the time we have tested the Lenovo Yoga Pro mouse it showed it has potential to reach the mentioned 3 months of use with one charge. Before we tested the mouse I would have said that is quite optimistic, but now I think it is quite realistc.

Here is a screenshot of the remaining battery life after one week of moderate use (using the laptop that it is paired with for couple of hours per day):

As you can see, the remaining battery is at 89% which is just amazing. The nice thing about it is that you don't need to turn it on and off, unlike other models like the Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed which I need to turn on and off after each use or the battery will drain while on idle.

So, this is our honest opinion after we tested the battery performance on the mighty Lenovo Yoga Pro mouse. We will give it some more time of active use before we check if the claimed 3 months battery life is possible.

DJI OSMO Action 1st gen action camera - still good in 2025?

The first generation DJI OSMO Action was a real success back in 2019, but is it still good in 2025?

Back in the days we had only a few options when choosing an action camera - usually it was either DJI OSMO Action or GoPro. And GoPro was dominating the action camera market for quite some time before DJI launched their 1st gen DJI OSMO Action which was a real success in 2019 and forward.

So, it is 2025 and many consumers are still keeping their DJI OSMO Action cameras but are they good enough to keep up with the latest releases? Well, to be honest this is not going to be "which is better, old or new" type of review. The latest 4th generation OSMO Action is amazing and in many ways better than the 2019 version.

Looks like new, doesn't it?

But if you already have the initial model, do you urgently need to upgrade or the OSMO Action 1st gen is still good?

The reasons why you should keep your DJI OSMO Action 1st gen action camera

And here are my reasons as an owner of the OSMO Action 1st gen for more than 4 years now:

Affordable (lower cost compared to newer models).
Compact and portable (easy to carry and use).
Good video quality (4K at 60fps still meets many needs).
Stabilization (RockSteady helps with smooth footage).
Waterproof (no extra case needed for water activities).
Simple to use (intuitive interface and controls).
Durable (built for rugged use).
No immediate need for an upgrade (still works well for basic uses).
Good battery life (still provides decent performance for short shoots).

So, I think I have answered the main question - yes, you should definitely keep your 1st gen OSMO Action if you already have one. But if you are keen on gadgets and you want to try the latest or you are doing some professional work with your action camera, then just go ahead and buy the OSMO Action 4 from DJI, it has some rally cool new features.

Literally, it is going to take you no more than 3-5 minutes to cut and blend all of these delicious fruits and vegetables. The lemon juice and the addition of some ginger is what really helps with the detox effect.

For this recipe we used the Nutribullet Pro 900 blender which is just fantastic for such quick fixes.

Unboxing and testing the Lenovo Yoga Pro mouse for the very first time - great mouse for under $50

We received the Lenovo Yoga Pro mouse last week and it is time to share consumer impressions. The stylish Lenovo mouse definitely impressed us from the very begining.

Except for the mouse itslef, there is almost nothing else in the box, just some documents with instructions and product information.

We were kind of surprised that there was no charging cable included in the package. The Lenovo Yoga Pro mouse is charged via USB-C port and the battery can last couple of weeks.

What we liked

There is a lot to like about the Lenovo Yoga Pro mouse... starting from the adequate price of around $40 and we go through the silent klicks of the two main buttons.

You can also connect two different devices and switch between them depending on which computer you want to use.

The mouse is comfortable and feels kind of premium, but not entirely. We liked the soft and silent clicks and the smooth contact with the different surfaces that we tested it on.

For this review we paired the Lenovo Yoga Pro mouse with Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 laptop, which made sense. There is something in the Lenovo lineup with lots of Pro models these days but these two matched pretty well.

Pairing process

It was quite easy to connect this Bluetooth mouse with a laptop (ultrabook in our case). We just switched the power button of the mouse and turned on Bluetooth reception on the Windows laptop. The whole process took no longer than 30-40 seconds.

Charging the mouse

The Lenovo Yoga Pro mouse is charged via USB-C connection. Cable and charging brick are not included in the package so it will be nice if you already have Type-C cable from another device. We will use original Samsung 25W USB-C Fast Charging Wall Charger to charge the battery of the mouse once it is drained.

Promising longer battery live and enhanced performance for energy demanding devices - the Varta Longlife Power AAA batteries

As promised in one of our product videos in our YouTube channel, I will make a short review of the Varta Longlife Power AAA Alkaline batteries.

I bought them in a set of 4 and they costed me around 2.6 Euro which I believe is the average price for this product.

Varta, which is a German battery and energy storage devices manufacturer claims that they specially developed these batteries with high energy consumption in mind. Many of the modern gadgets demand such power and Varta is addressing this with this relatively new technology in their alkaline batteries.

For a company that operates since 1887 and manufactures much of its products in Germany, I am willing to believe the claimed high performance.

What we see here is pretty nice and recognizable design of the batteries themselves. Blue and yellow are the company colors for many years and Varta is also emphasizing on the "Made in Germany" tag on the packaging, which is quite understandable.

Every now and then Google launches an interesting addition in their webamsters monetization platform AdSense. The feature that was recently released is called Offerwall messages and is known in other advertising platforms but it is the first time that it is introduced in AdSense.

What are Adsense Offerwall messages?

Basically, AdSense Offerwall messages allow you to create new opportunities and create messages that will offer your visitors access to your content in return of watching or clicking on an ad.

An Offerwall message is customizable through the Adsense interface and consits of several different screens where you can set your logo, custom message and user action, which is the important part. The user action can be as I mentioned above to watch a rewarded ad.

Many of you photographers and videographers might be skeptical of the product we are testing today, since it is quite small and lightweight. But the Zhiyun Fiveray M40 really impressed us after the first tests that we did and as usual we want to share our honest consumer feedback with you.

Zhiyun Fiveray M40 40W LED pocket light - outdoor test

The very first test that we did with the Zhiyun Fiveray M40 was outdoors. It was a cold and dark winter night, and probably perfect conditions for this mighty pocket light. The lamp battery was charged right out of the box, and we still haven't charged it (want to drain it completely first) and it was ready for use.

Here is a video that we recorded for you so you can get a better idea how powerful the Zhiyun Fiveray M40 really is:

To be honest, I haven't used many pocket lights for photography and videography purposes, and I wasn't sure what to expect.

Most of the products that we checked during our initial research were around 5-10W, and I wasn't expected much out of such small LED light. But trust me, 40W is a lot. As you can see the Fiveray M40 managed to light up the whole yard which by the way is pretty big.

And here is another test where we have taken a picture with no lights on, then with a car headlights on and then on the 3rd picture we have the M40:

In a relatively large room, this Zhiyun lamp provided as much light so that it would feel like there is a very powerful chandelier. And yes, you can use it not only for professional photography and videography work, but also as a very powerful flashlight when needed. And here is a comparison from the indoor test:

As you can see the difference is more than noticeable, with the LED light on it is a completely different story, the whole room lights up. And yes, it is quite a messy room, but I wanted to show you how the Zhiyun Fiveray M40 performs in natural conditions.

The Zhiyun Fiveray M40 has a very effective DynaVort cooling system but the powerful fan didn't kick-in a single time during our tests. Probably because it was cold enough for the lamp too cool down or it is just very effective and it needs to run for a longer period of time before the battery heats up and t fan activates.

Charging

We have pretty good news here - this product supports fast charging via USB-C (USB Type-C cable included in the package). It can also be used while charging - Zhiyun claims that a maximum of 15W is supported for charging the battery.

The battery should be good enough for about 30 minutes at max power and much longer if you don't need all of the 40W.

Zhiyun Fiveray M40 - price

The product price for this LED light is adequate to its performance. It is definitely not the cheapest mobile light on the market, but not many can deliver such performance. The price that you can expect to find it brand new varies between $100-120 and about 100 Euro on the European market (currently on sale).

First impressions are pretty good, that is an honest opinion. But we will need to put the Zhiyun Fiveray M40 into actual work, and then we would be able to share different scenarios where this powerful pocket LED light fits best. I believe it would do a good job for product photography, for mobile videography like interviews, shorts and stuff like that, for ambient video light or main video light in smaller rooms.

A pack of these might be even good enough for professional work. We still haven't bought the diffuser for it, the only original accessory that we managed to find for the Zhiyun Fiveray M40. I wish it was included in the package even if the original price needed to be adjusted with additional $5, since all content creators would definitely benefit from a diffuser when using such a small but powerful light source.

My honest consumer feedback on the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 after testing couple of different models

Internal components of the Yoga Pro 7

It has been almost a month since the beautiful Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 ultrabook and I have alredy tested it in a couple of variations - the 14.5-inch touchscreen version with 3k display and Intel Core Ultra 5 125H and also the more powerful Core Ultra 7 175H.

This Yoga Pro has gained a huge popularity across the Internet and there are literally hundreds of reviews and consumer opinions for bothe the Yoga Pro 7 and the bigger and more powerful Yoga Pro 9. I will be focusing my attention mostly on the smaller Yoga Pro 7 model and all the insights that I got after a couple of weeks of testing.

Lenovo Yoga Pro 7i - first impressions

You have probably noticed the "i"at the end of the name, which basically means that is the Intel version of the laptop and not AMD equipped mode, which is also available for the Yogar Pro 7.

My first impressions with the Yoga Pro 7 were good mostly because of the beautiful design and form factor. To be honest, in computer industry and especially laptops, I am always a bit sceptic about products that look too good and attractive. I previously had pretty bad experience with ultrabooks that looked just awesome but couldn't deliver the expected performance but also had build-quality isssues. And here we get directly to my biggest concern about the Yoga Pro 7 - durability and build-quality.

It might be just a feeling or something that comes with years of experience and so many different computers tested but I feel like the Yoga Pro 7 is not one of these laptops that I would be using happily for years without any issues... and I was right. The second laptop that I tested had a production issue with its back aluminum panel which is quirking every time I grab the laptop with one hand. Yes, it is not a major issue, but the laptop is brand new and it is called "Prö". I would expect to experience such problems from laptops much cheaper than the Yoga Pro 7.

Basic performance

Lenovo is targeting content creators with the Yoga Pro series and some vloggers strongly recommend the Yoga Pro 9 as one of the best in class for content creation. I personally agree with many of the positive comments, but not with all.
For content creation I would assume that one would need first - a very powerful and capable hardware and second - a very sturdy machine that would be easy to carry around and stay reliable after different abuse. And even though the Yoga Pro 7 is packed with pretty good hardware, I don't see it as a rugged machine that is going to last for long, especially if it is one of your major tools in the content creation process. Also content creators tend to use a lot of different peripherals and the lack of many ports in the Pro 7 is definitely among its advantages - 2x USB Type-C ports and 1x USB Type-A. The good news is that we have an HDMI port and a 3.5 combo mic and headphone jack.

The Core Ultra 125H and 175H are two mighty processors with very good integrated iGPU - for the 125H it is Arc 7-core, while the 175H gets a slightly better performing Arc 8-core integrated graphics chip. I haven't tested them for gaming since I don't think it would make any sense to get such ultrabook for gaming, but I have tested them with moderately heavy 4k clips edited in Premiere Pro and I have to say that as a content creator I am quite pleased with the performance of the Arc graphics. Definitely an improvement over the outgoing Intel Iris/Iris XE.

The laptop remained cool and quiet most of the time, something very important for me, I get really annoyed when using laptops that get hot, with extremely loud fans and warm keyboard.

The battery

The battery performance is quite acceptable for such small factor and relatively lightweight laptop. I was getting at least around 4 hours of use on both laptops (the 125H and the 175H). Of course, it all depends on what you use the laptop for. Some copywriting, web browsing and YouTube music in the background with display brightness on 60% will get you between 3 and 5 hours of non-stop use.

The display

The 3k touchscreen display in the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 is just beautiful. It is definitely one of the best laptop screens that I have seen. It is a glossy display, so you can expect quite a lot of fingerprints and reflections when used outdoors or in very bright office lightening.

Keyboard

I have made a separate post entirely dedicated on the keyboard performance. Basically it is one of the better keyboards in the segment, but the thing that concerns me again is durability. Probably it would be much more adequate to comment about the keyboard after at least 1-2 years of active use. Or you can just check my previous post: Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 keyboard test.

Touchpad is OK, it is a bit louder for my preferences but at least it is large enough. It is not very responsive and sometimes I need to click twice to get a proper reaction. I wouldn't put this touchpad among the best in class but it gets the job done.

Other thoughts and impressions

It has been only two weeks since I am using the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 and I feel like I have so much to say. Throughout the years, I have been a huge Dell fan and owned numerous Dell laptops. But I decided to test something new and even though Lenovo is not my favorite computer brand I think that in most areas the Yoga Pro 7 and Pro 9 make sense. They look cool and offer a lot for the money - cheaper than the ThinkPad but more expensive than the ThinkBook.

Still, as a content creator I am not convinced that the Yoga Pro 7 is the right laptop for me... but lets see. I wouldn't be surpried if my next review is with a brand new Dell ultrabook.

I test and review the keyboard of the latest ultrabook by Lenovo - the Yoga Pro 7

I have the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7i for almost two weeks now and it is time to share some first-hand consumer feedback about its different components. In today's review I will be talking about the features and performance of the keyboard of my Yoga Pro 7.

Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 - general info

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 is a relatively new model line from their laptop department, targeting content creators who want a portable and yet powerful ultrabook on the go. My laptop is equipped with the mighty Intel Core Ultra 125H processor with 7-core integrated Arc iGPU, 32B of DDR5 memory and 1TB for storage. This configuration is quite adequate for most of my daily tasks and also for some content creation - already tested it with Premiere Pro and it did just fine editing long Full HD videos and short 4k clips with ease.

Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 - the keyboard

The Yoga Pro 7 is a 14.5-inch laptop but the smaller formfactor does not affect the keyboard significantly. Of course in this size we wouldn't expect to see a numeric keypad, something that is reserved for the bigger model - the Yoga Pro 9.

1.5 mm travel dash keyboard - that is the feature that Lenovo promotes on a sticker directly under the keyboard itself. And yes, the key travel is pretty good for an ultrabook and many of the direct competitors have shorter travel like 1.2 mm or so.

Generally speaking this keyboard is quite comfortable to type on. It is relatively silent, except for the spacebar which is quite loud and clicky and so is the touchpad, which is pretty big and responsive but I would highly appreciate it if it was a bit softer to the click.

Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 - you get what you paid for

Copilot key - the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 has the new Copilot shortcut key included in the keyboard. This is a brand new feature, introduced for Windows 11 machines. Copilot should be a shortcut to new Windows AI integrated features which to be honest I am still not familiar with - if you are, please drop me a line in the comments below.

Backlit keys - Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 has a backlit keyboard and the light is also configurable, you can dim it up and down to your preference.

Verdict

To rate a keyboard, to say how good or bad it is I think one should use it at least for a year. And for durability ratings even more. On first hand the Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 comes with a very usable and most of the time quite comfortable keyboard. It has long key travel, it is backlit and would suit most consumers.

My honest consumer feedback about the Asics Gel Dedicate 8 Clay tennis shoes after a season of using them

It has been quite some time since I bought the tennis shoes Asics Gel Dedicate 8 Clay. I played more than 20 games with them (probably a lot more but I haven't counted) and it is time to give you my honest comments about them.
Basically I am pretty much satisfied with the Gel Dedicate 8 Clay, especially for the low price I got them. I will divide my impressions into 3 main categories: comfort, performance and durability.

Comfort

I wore a lot of Asics shoes in the last couple of years and most of them were quite comfortable in general. To be honest I would rate the Gel Dedicate 8 somewhere in the middle. They are OK but there I things that I would change for my perfect tennis shoe - they feel bottom heavy and therefore the dynamics that I want to achieve in my movements is lower than I wish. Also the Gel Dedicate 8 Clay shoes are not as flexible as I wisht them to be.

Other than that, they achieved good ergonomics and are perfectly fine for wearing throughout a whole day. The top mesh in the front part helps in the very hot days, still I wouldn't recommend them for extremely hot weather conditions.

Performance

In 90% of the cases I used the Gel Dedicate 8 Clay on clay surface as they are designed for. On this surface they did extremely well - very good grip and overall performance. Sliding is a bit hard since the grip with the surface is too much sometimes but still achievable.
On serve I also feel like I have good grip and contact with the surface.

In general this shoe is a solid performer on the court.

Durability

Back in the days Asics were the shoe brand that I associated with 2 things - ergonomics and durability. I have to admit that at least from my point of view durability has dropped a bit in the last couple of years, not significantly but just a bit. We can already see some wear and tear in the shoe, something that you can see yourself in the following video review that I made for you this week:

And that is basically it for my long term review of the Asics Gel Dedicate 8 Clay tennis shoes. I have another old Asics tennis shoes (all-court) for backup but I rarely use them as I mostly play on clay these days and I rely on the Gel Dedicate 8 Clay.

If you’re having issues with Google AdSense ads not showing, and you’ve checked all the usual suspects (ad code placement, site policy compliance, etc.), take a closer look at your user consent message.
