Like its counterpart in the Metroplex, Fiesta Texas offers a variety of rides, food, live shows, and other entertainment.

Unfortunately I've only had the opportunity to visit this park twice, but one of my daughters has been down several times over the last few years. She says, though it seems smaller than the one in Arlington, that it is just as much fun and has had a lot of growth over the last few years.

When we went several years ago, it was a lot more spread out than the Six Flags in Arlington. It reminded me in a lot of ways of Sea World and the long distances between each attraction. Also, the temperature was extremely hot, it seemed a lot more dry than it does here and there was a lot less entertainment under a roof to protect us from the sun.

But it was a great time, and my daughter that has been several times has had the opportunity to go to both Six Flags parks here in Texas multiple times, so if she says it would be worth a visit, I'd take her word for it!

If you are a musician, you know the importance of taking care of your equipment. You want something that is going to protect your equipment that you can trust, and is also financially practical. You also want something that looks good.

Looking at keyboard cases from musicians friend is a great way to get the quality you want at a price you can afford, and that you know will be something that will keep your instrument safe.

Most small, west Texas towns are considered "in the middle of nowhere", but this is far from the case when it comes to Marfa, Texas. While it's geographical location might be considered somewhere in nowhere, the abundance of things to do and see is a stark contrast to that label.

Marfa, a town consisting of a couple of thousand residents that is the county seat of Presidio County, offers art, history, and some of the most beautiful scenery of the Lone Star State.

Established in 1883, this tiny water stop on the railroad line on the high plateau of the Chihuahuan Desert has grown into a great place for artist and tourist alike. Located approximately 4800 feet above sea level, the climate is much more tolerable than most areas of west Texas. This makes it the hub of places to camp, hike, and sightsee when visiting the area.

Marfa is located between the Davis Mountains and Big Bend National Park, which makes it a great place to stop for a few days after visiting to the national park, or the McDonald Observatory near Fort Davis. While here visitors can swim, hike, camp, visit museums, or one of more than a dozen art galleries. You read that right- art galleries!

For more information about Marfa, the art galleries, and to see their calendar of events, visit the official website here.

As much as I like traveling around the large, vast state of Texas, sometimes it’s great to get out and expand the vacations beyond where we usually go. There’s a thrill in going to another region and country in the world, you get to see so many new and exciting things.

There’s an entire world out there with all different cultures, food, entertainment, and religions. There’s also different business opportunities in different places. So there’s a lot of reasons to get out and travel and check out what is around the world. Staying home, or in the same area, will cause you to be missing out on so much.

But picking the right airline is important. You want an airline that keeps you safe, provides good meals, has nice accommodations, and will get you off the ground and to your location on schedule. You want an airline, such as saudi airlines , that will have a good schedule and something to be able to accommodate your time schedule, and get you where you need to be in multiple places around the world.

Traveling Saudi airlines will get you to and from an interesting part of the world, and one you might have never seen before. If you are going on business, and we know a lot of oil workers do, you’ll be able to get there and get down to business when you are supposed to.

This is why picking the right airline is important. It might seem like a flight is a flight, but once you get in the air you will know when you’ve made the right choice or the wrong choice.

We have long periods of drought, with high winds during the same period.

This causes everything in the house to be covered in dust, and dusting just once a week isn't going to keep your home clean.

There is where the Texas cleaning service Lobo Sisters can help. We clean on a schedule you need to keep your home clean, just the way you like it.

Located south of the Metroplex in Texas hill country, Lake Whitney provides some of the best boating, fishing, skiing, and diving in the state. The beautiful Brazos river keeps the water clear and blue and beautiful.

The 200 plus miles of shoreline give Lake Whitney a variety of landscapes for whatever mood strikes you. There's beaches and more, and plenty of places to set down a blanket and have a picnic.

While there be sure to visit the dam.

Fredericksburg is the county seat of Gillespie County and is located about 70 miles west of Austin in what Texans refer to as "hill country".

For over 150 years, this German heritage city has provided Texas charm to it's residents and visitors. It's a great place to get away for a romantic weekend, to hike, or to have a corporate gathering that is far from the big city noise and stress.

Fredericksburg offers a nice variety of bed and breakfast inns to stay at while there, but one of the biggest attractions is Luckenbach, Texas. The crazy activities that go on there delight visitors as they watch armadillo races, washer pitchin', dominoes, and a game of horseshoes. You'll learn why they say "everybody's somebody in Luckenbach, Texas".

Time your visit right, on the third weekend in August, and you can visit the exciting Gillespie County Fair while you are there.

Fredericksburg is a small city with big charm and with it's close proximity to Austin, but distance from the "big city", it makes it a great place to visit or live.

Music is a big part of almost everyone’s life, and when you are a musician, you know this more than anyone. That is why you want a good quality product, but at the same time don’t want to spend more than you have to for quality.

So if you are looking for equipment or something such as congas for sale then buy from a place you know you can trust for quality and good pricing.

As the owner of a small business here in Texas, we are always looking for opportunities to promote our business. The difficult part is promoting in a way that gives you a good return on your investment.

Branding your name is important and a great way to have your company name pop into someone’s mind when they think of a product or service they need. And one way to brand your company in an inexpensive way is to make an investment in customized products that are eye catching.

Our favorites are pens, keyrings, and mugs, but there’s so much more to choose from.

Unfortunately there are still bottle necks in many areas. Also, once you get on 183 from Hurst to Euless, you will experience quite a few slowdowns and dangerous driving conditions.

Once it is completed it will be nice, but until then, avoid these areas at all costs. Finding an alternate route isn't very difficult, especially if you use a quality GPS.

Most of us go through the day perfectly safe. We move from one place to another without having to think about it too much, but we know in the back of our minds, safety is always a priority. And though we don’t want to dwell on the negative, we still must take a moment to remember that when something happens, we want to be prepared.

Finding keychains for women that they can use for self defense is a great way to start when it comes to staying safe.

IHOP, as you have probably guessed, specializes in a breakfast menu.

For the most part, IHOPs provide decent service and the selection of available food is humongous. There are pancakes, waffles, bacon, eggs, omelets, ham, and all your favorites.

The price is also fair and you'll get a lot of delicious food for your dollar.

The musical artists that put their hearts into playing for our entertainment really care about the music and sound they are making. That is why you’ll see a lot of Fender guitars on a stage, because they are known for quality and used by a large number of professionals.

Ysleta and Socorro Missions and The San Elizario presidio chapel remain today.

You can drive to all three in just over three hours time. Some times of the year there is a trolley that goes from mission to mission. The missions around El Paso are unique. They do not look like other missions of Texas. They were built to fit the area 's needs.

El Pasoans celebrate what they call Thanksgiving on April 30. They claim that was when the first Thanksgiving was held. They say that Don Juan de Onate led an expedition from Mexico in April 1598. The colonist had to bear many hardships such as hot desert heat with very little food or water. When they arrived safely , old Don Juan told everyone to put on their best clothes because they were going to feast and have Thanksgiving. This was the first Thanksgiving to El Pasoans.

Perhaps you are familiar with smallflower, the original international apothecary. If so, you’ll know the great deals you can get on a variety of products.

If you aren’t familiar with small flower, then it’s time you get to know the great products you can find, and how much you can save on a great selection of products. Check out Kaol mints, a blend of nine herbs.

A covered wagon replica sits in the pumpkin patch in Flower Mound (minus the cover). The covered wagon has an interesting history throughout the United States, but when the thought is conjured up most people tend to think of the smaller covered wagons used in the old west.

The covered wagon even has a few common phrases attached to it's name. Its not unusual to hear someone say "they circled the wagons" or "line your wagons up". Can you think of any more off the top of your head?

Over the years covered wagons developed, but even in their most advanced stages, they were still quite uncomfortable and not very pleasing to the eye. But they got the job done for thousands of explorers and families who trekked out west in search of fortunes or an escape from the big cities. The covered wagons were able to hold a plentiful amount of supplies as well as people, and the covered bed provided a little protection from the elements.

Typically nothing more than a box wagon with a tent pulled over hooped slats, it sat on an axle and was pulled by a team of horses or mules. As time passed, rudimentary "shock absorbers" were added, as was a better ventilation system for the tent.

At night, and in times of danger, the wagons would be circled together (see quote above), which provided a place of relative safety in the middle, as well as a 360 degree view for the lookouts.

Some of today's traffic laws started as "wagon laws", such as using a signal to turn, parking, and many times- speed limits.

Everyone knows exercise is good for us, as is relaxing and meditation. Mix it with stretching, and you have Yoga, a very popular way to exercise and unwind built into one.

And when it comes to our health and doing activities, we need to dress many times in a way that is comfortable and part of what we are doing. For those that do Yoga, buying yoga gear here will get you the quality you desire at a price you can afford.

First is tornadoes, and the second is the sudden hail storms that can start dropping large amounts of hail, sometimes the size of a softball, all over the place.

Most of the time there is enough warning to get to a safe location, at least for people. Sometimes vehicles aren't so lucky.

The last hail storm we had last year knocked my rear view mirror from the windshield to my back seat. That is some force.
