The Texas Department of State Health Services’ (DSHS’) flu surveillance currently shows low levels of flu activity throughout the state. Flu activity typically starts in December and peaks in January or February in Texas. However, flu is unpredictable. Take every opportunity over the next few months to remind your patients and staff: Vaccination is safe, effective, and absolutely our strongest prevention tool against the flu. &lt;/font&gt;&lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;
