If you can't be bothered to learn about them, why would you go on a TV show to talk about what you need to see from them? It was right out of a 1970s horror movie. Tonight I revisit that show as well as add on my thoughts about where in this movie we currently are. It's super fitting that Halloween and the election were so close together because this past four years has been nothing but a horror show.

I went almost all of black history month without talking about black history (mostly because I talk about black shit all year long. This episode is to end BHM with a bang. It is an aural presentation of my Anthropology 416: Scientific Racism final project from 2018. I did get a perfect score on it (4.0) and it was moving enough that someone who saw it online invited me to give a talk at their establishment. This is one of the longer shows I have recorded and is basically a series of short episodes I have had in this area since I’ve been here. Towards the end I have an unexpected guest that actually had me cut my thoughts short, so the episode would’ve been longer but it’s cool. I am happy with how it came out. Enjoy!

I am fascinated by it, and afraid of it at the same time. That is part of the reason why I chose to study it post-secondary.  However, the way my studies have gone, they connect mostly at the social angle of technology. I am pursuing a law degree with an emphasis on three areas: criminal, civil rights and technology. In preparing for law school I did my undergrad in sociology. What that means is that in regards to tech I study people’s behavior. The show today is concerning why it is nearly impossible to have a conversation with people you are not intimately acquainted with online.

They might not’ve lost their lives but many come back having lost something, and in a lot of cases, something significant. A small way to help our vets while helping the people is the focus on today’s show. Killing two birds with one stone.
