Young Thai Temple Boy Collects Money

While buddhist monks and nuns are not allowed to touch or use money,
young temple boys are helping to collect money for the temples.
The so called Temple boys, are no monks or novices,
they are just helpers for the monks.
In Thai they are called “Dek Wat” or “Look Sit”.

Hot and Sour Thai Soup Recipe Tom Yum Goong

The most famous recipe from Thailand is for sure,
the hot and sour Thai soup “Tom Yum Goong”.
Thai-Eyes tells You, how to make Your own,
tasty, hot and sour Tom Yum Goong.

Ingredients:
750 ml water
6 shrimps/prawns with head and shell
200 g straw mushrooms
3 bulbs lemongras
5-6 Kaffir limeleaves
2-3 cm Galanga/Galingale in fine slices
5-6 green and red Thai Chilies Prik Kee Noo
1 coriander root
Juice from 3-4 limes
1-2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 tablespoon Nam prik pao (roasted Thai chili paste)
a pinch of sugar
optional 3-4 tablespoons of coconut milk
1/2 teaspoon Umami MSG Monosodiumglutamat food enhancer
a handful coriander leaves and spring onions, chopped

Preparation:
Remove the head of the shrimps/prawns.
Add lemongras (crack the bulbs with a pestle), galanga slices,
kaffir limeleaves, coriander root (crack the root with a pestle), shrimp heads,
and Thai chilies (crack the chilies with a pestle) to a pot with cold water
and simmer for about 1 hour or longer.
Remove the shrimp heads and add shrimps/prawns and straw mushrooms.
Boil for about 5-10 min.
Flavour the brew with limejuice, fish sauce, sugar,
Nam prik pao (roasted Thai chili paste) and MSG.
If You like the soup more creamy add 3-4 tablespoons coconut milk.
Garnish with coriander leaves and spring onions
and serve the hot & sour Thai soup with boiled Thai rice.

Thailand Soccer Boy Joe

Soccer Boy Joe is a young Akha hilltribe kid
and he loves to play soccer, like the most kids in Thailand.
Life is very difficult for youngster Joe, because he is born
on the wrong side of the border, in Burma/Myanmar.
As a young kid he came with his parents as refugees
to Thailand and now he has to fight to get a ID card.
In spite of everthing he´s always in a good mood,
likes to jape and is hoping all his problems will be solved one day.
There is a first blink for Joe, because with the help of our friends
he got a job in a noodleshop.
Every evening before sunset,
Joe likes to play soccer with his Thai friends,
so we asked him for a photo shooting with the football.

Groove Riders Godfather of Thai Disco

the job looks quite painful.

it looks like dish washing is one of the funniest things on this planet.
So it´s just a point of view.
If You do unwelcomed work with the right attitude,

Thai Teenie Chin Chinawut Indracusin Fans are waiting

In spring 2008 Thai teenager Chin Chinawut Indracusin entered the Thai Charts
with a new song “Mai mee krai hai bok ruk”
and Chin fans all over the word been awaiting his new album,
which was pronounced for March 2008.

The new album has not been released yet,
instead Chin Chinawut was working together
with the new Thaipop band B.O.Y - Blood of Youth.
Now a new single has been released,
which gives hope, that the new album will be released soon.

Big Ass Thailand With New Song Rak

which means love.

Four Mod secretly filmed while take a shower

A scandal shocks the kingdom of Thailand:
The two Thai girl singers Four Mod has been secretly filmed while taking a shower.
The incident happend during Thai new year (Songkran) in Khon Kaen - Northeast Thailand - Isaan.
Thai girlie group Four Mod was engaged for a motorcycle promotion show,
because all hotels has been packed, the two girls got a room in a budget hotel.
While they took a shower, somebody secretly filmed them with the camera of a mobile phone.
People said the film was immediately pressed on VCD and has been sold on the black market.
A few days ago the Four Mod shower-video appeared at the international video portal You Tube.
Thai police is investigating and yesterday night a press conference has been held.
3 Thai men was caught by the police and presented in the press conference,
but maintained their’s innocence.
They showed a copy from a Thai ID card from the suspected offender,
which could not be caught by the Thai police yet.
The 3 defendants apologised to Four Mod, but for what,
if they´re not guilty ?
The whole case is quite inscrutable
and all the compromising videos has been removed from You Tube.

Meanwhile the girlie singers Four Mod declared their point of view, under tears, to the reporters.

Thai-Eyes want to encourage and comfort Four Mod.
People should respect the private sphere of everybody,
but in our perveted, modern world
incidents like that, happens more and more.
It´s disgusting !!!

and it seems they just know one direction, up…up…up.
