Jasmine Rice is the most famous exporting product of Thailand, it’s the no. 1 exporting product of Thailand too. The trick to cooking jasmine rice well is using minimal water, so that the rice is steamed, rather than boiled. But be careful not using too little water because the rice will be too dry. Actually it depends on the rice if good rice, it doesn’t need a lot of water but if not so good rice, need a lot of water to make it smooth to eat. Jasmine rice can be prepared easily with electronic cooker.

Jasmine rice can be the signature dish for Thai food. Thai food will not be completed without the dish of jasmine rice. Thai name for Jasmine rice is “khao horm mali”. Thai rice is originally from Thailand. What makes Thai Jasmine rice different from the rice from other countries is that it’s less sticky and it has less amylopectin. Amylopectin is the glucose that can be found in plants.

Thai people always have rice in every meal either breakfast, lunch or dinner. Thai people love sharing food. If you go out for lunch or dinner with Thai friends, you are most likely to be asked whether you’d like a single dish or dishes to share. To share or not to share, that is a question entirely up to you. It’s something that people who are not Thais don’t get familiar with or they might think it’s not hygienic to do so. Thais use the middle spoon to cope up the food to their own dish, in that case you don’t have to worry about hygienic issue.

Thai people eat 3 meals a day same as most of the people from many countries. But Thais have a habit of eating small meal like snack because it’s very easy to find food all around. Many Thais tend to not cook by themselves but eat small food outside very often because it’s very cheap and everywhere. Foreigners who live here call it as street food which in Thailand, we have almost everything such as fruit, meatballs, noodle and more.

You will never feel hungry if you live in Thailand because you can find food anytime of the day even late at night. There are some restaurants in Thailand opening at night only and close very late or close in the morning. Some restaurants open from 10 pm until 6am to satisfy the hunger of the people who work at night or people who tend to get hungry right at night. It’s something special that you can find only in Thailand or only in few countries in the world.

Eat Breakfast – People always ignore to eat breakfast because they are in rush hour or don’t feel hungry but breakfast is the foundation behavior which affects both mind and body. It gives you power for the whole day and will make you eat less in lunch and dinner.

2.	Change the oil often for cooking – Better spend money on healthy oil which is made from vegetable or olive oil.

3.	Drink a lot more water – we have to drink water at least 2 liters a day but more than that for people who have problem with kidney.

4.	Eat food that will give calcium to your body – such as milk, soy milk, small fish and green vegetable.

5.	Say No to all snacks – Cut cookie, donut or cake out of your life and sweeten your stomach with sweet fruits instead.

6.	Love to eat fish behavior – change yourself to be someone who loves to eat fish. You should eat at least once a week or so.

7.	Drink tea – You should drink tea one to three times a day and tea can help you prevent having stomach cancer.

What is MSG? It’s almost in every food in Thailand I think but people ignore it. And I don’t think it’s something that you should be ignored because MSG can be the slow killer which cause harm to your health day by day.

MSG is a salt but it’s not the normal salt. It’s a salt of the amino acid – glutamic Acid. MSG stands for Mono-Sodium Glutamate. Believe it or not, MSG contains in a lot of foods selling in the market these days but the food companies know it’s bad so they hide MSG on the ingredient list by putting some other names instead.

The purpose of using MSG in food is very simple, to make it tasty and people love the tasty delicious food. It’s kinda tricky because the consumers know it bad but still want it at some points. The food companies know it bad but still put MSG in food because it makes the sale scale comes up.

The only way we can stop MSG to be around us is that the consumers have to stop taking it themselves. You know it’s bad and if you don’t know so I’m telling you down, MSG is bad, it’s killing you day by day if you consume it every day. And you know what, I’m allergy to MSG too. My face got swollen, so I can’t take any food with MSG in it at all.

You might wonder how bad is MSG. Here is the list of some diseases that you might get if you consume MSG constantly:

- Migraine and Headache

- Diabetes

- Autism

- Obesity

- Make you addicted

- ADHD or Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder

and more

Valentine’s day is the very special day for all lovers to share your love, happiness or even say “love” to each others. Many couples might find the romantic places to celebrate and share love and happiness feelings together. The romantic places I would like to suggest are:

1. The beach

It is beautiful and quiet which makes you feel like there are only your couples in this world. But make sure you book your holiday to the beach well ahead and make sure your hotel have the private beach. The hotels in the big cities like Pattaya and Hua Hin is not to be recommended.

2.Restaurants

A lovely restaurant is the place which many couples need to go to on Valentine’s Day. The restaurant should look romantic like in the garden, next to the lake with the candle lights also the sweet rhythm which makes you feel romantic and give you the best night ever. The Silver Lake outside Pattaya has very romantic settings. In Bangkok I would suggest for Valentine’s a roof top restaurant overlooking the city lights.

3. Beautiful Pavement along the road

Cheap and also you will have many people to be such the witnesses for your love. But it is not easy to find one in Bangkok that is quite and still have good street food and nice experience. Maybe you should try one of China town’s old streets.

4. The bridge

The bridges in Bangok are high and the air is fresh you can get a good view and the city looks lovely. It is cheap as same as No. 3, you don’t have to pay money to be there. And the beautiful river is also being the nice view with charge you nothing. In Thailand we only have a few big bridges and the most common one is near to the flower market in Bangkok.

5. The top of the building

The top of a Bangkok high rice building is romantic because it’s with the nice view ever with lovely night breeze. Good air which will make you calm and fly away with romantic feeling ever. Maybe some friend has a roof top you can borrow or you can book a hotel where you have roof access. Bangkok always looks better from above.

6. Elevators

Don’t underestimate it since you see it’s nothing but little square box. When you two are only the people in that little box, don’t forget to do something fun or romantic together. Bangkok and Pattaya is full with big elevators for you to explore just do not get caught doing something naughty on cam.

7.Shop Away

Why don’t take your love once on a shopping spree, Bangkok is one of the best places to shop in the world and if you not present we can take your loved one shopping.

8. The River

If you want to have a chance to take a river cruise on Valentine’s you better hurry up. They very soon get full on any given holiday in Bangkok. In Pattaya you can take your loved one to either Silver Lake or the sea food restaurants near Jomtien.

9. Wine and dine in the park.

Bangkok has several big parks where you can enjoy a nice pick nick with your loved once. In Pattaya you need to search little bit outside from the city to find one. Buy some ready meals and drinks and just relax one day in the park.

10. Five star hotels

Both Bangkok and Pattaya is full with five star hotels and they have an excellent service. Why don’t you book a romantic getaway for the weekend in one of them? Chicken stock cube

Before you start cooking, this dish needs a lot of preparation which is very important.

First of all, clean the chicken then find the bowl or anything which you can use it for mixing chicken with all the ingredients before cooking.

Add Chicken in the bowl and then add light soy sauce, garlic, coriander roots and grouded peppercorn. Leave them all together with chicken until it’s covered the whole chicken and leave it marinade for 30 minutes. This preparation is very important because it’s the way to make the chicken gets the good taste before getting cooked.

After you marinade the chicken for 30 minutes, let’s start cooking the dish

1.	Put butter in the hot pan, then add in the chicken and cook until the skin is browned for both sides.

2.	Turn off the gas and then heat up another pot with water and stock cube. Add chicken in it and let them boil together and leave it until the water reduces by half.

3.	Then turn off the gas and it’s ready to be served.
