In other news, Islamic law isn’t really about morality, it’s about imposing a power structure on large numbers of people that it rulers are exempt from.

A Muslim majority will one day impose sharia law in Britain, the US and much of western Europe, according to radical cleric Anjem Choudary. Muslims will dominate the West and impose a return to the harsh moral code of the 13th century Arabian caliphate.

But it won’t likely apply to him. Sharia enforcers everywhere get immunity from any harsh moral codes. No one will be handing out 40 lashes to Anjem.

HATE preacher Anjem Choudary is today exposed as “the biggest hypocrite around” — by ex-student friends who knew him as a drunken, womanising buffoon called Andy.

Choudary’s old pals spoke out as the Muslim fanatic tried desperately to get embarrassing photos deleted off the internet.

The pictures show the young Choudary boozing, playing drinking games and laughing at a soft-porn mag.

“He lived with some other guys who had the reputation for being the hard-drinking party crowd who did very little work. I used to see him stagger out of a nightclub pretty much every weekend.

Dad-of-four Choudary, 46 — who gets £25,000 a year in benefits — has repeatedly called for the strict law in Britain, with all women forced to wear burkas, drinkers given 40 lashes in public and adulterers stoned to death for sex outside marriage.

But his uni peers said Choudary had sex with numerous non-Muslim girls while studying from 1987 to 1990.

The photos emerged after he said Brits live “like animals in a jungle” amid booze, gambling, prostitution and porn.

Choudary’s response has been that the photos are photoshopped.

Embarrassed Choudary, 46, begged followers to get the pics taken off the internet and even whined on Twitter: “The Sun have resorted to using photoshop to invent stories!”

Nothing to worry about, I’m sure. It’s not like North Korea has the ability to kill millions of people at a whim thanks to the ineptness and appeasement of the Clinton Administration.

Senior North Korean officials received copies of “Mein Kampf,” Adolf Hitler’s rambling prison memoir, as gifts for Kim Jong Un’s birthday this January, according to a report by New Focus International, a North Korean news organization that sources from defectors and volunteer citizens within the country.

The famous Nazi autobiography was reportedly distributed as what’s called a “hundred-copy book,” which refers to Pyongyang’s practice of circulating an extremely limited number of copies among top officials, though most books are forbidden in North Korea. Gifts marking the leader’s birthday are typically imbued with special political significance.

The book was apparently not distributed to endorse Nazism so much as to draw attention to Germany’s economic and military reconstruction after World War One. A North Korean who works on behalf of the country in China told New Focus that Kim gave a speech endorsing Germany’s inter-war revival and encouraging officials to read “Mein Kampf.”

“Kim Jong Un gave a lecture to high-ranking officials, stressing that we must pursue the policy of Byungjin in terms of nuclear and economic development,” New Focus’s North Korean source told them by phone. “Byungjin” translates literally to “in tandem” and refers to official policy of developing the nuclear program and economy simultaneously.

The source continued, “Mentioning that Hitler managed to rebuild Germany in a short time following its defeat in World War One, Kim Jong Un issued an order for the Third Reich to be studied in depth and asked that practical applications be drawn from it.”

Let me help Kim Jong Un out with those practical applications. They are…

1. Convince the world you’re a moderate and obtain investments and loans

2. Loot a minority group that you suspect has wealth and use it to finance unsustainable social welfare spending

3. When their money runs out, begin invading other countries and looting them

Kim can probably manage the first one, but the second two have no application.

That shouldn't be surprising. Just look at Europe where migrant workers come and don't leave.

If anything the CBO is underestimating those numbers, but either way the notion that amnesty or comprehensive immigration reform is going to do anything about illegal immigration is a joke and a half.

However, the cost estimate of the legislation that was released on Tuesday by the Congressional Budget Office says that the legislation would actually allow the flow of new illegal aliens into the United States to continue at a rate equal to 75 percent of the current rate of illegal immigration. This will be the case, in part, argues CBO, because of people who overstay temporary work visas that will be authorized by the bill.

This revelation that 75 percent of illegal immigration would continue if the Senate immigration reform proposal were enacted is included in a section of the report headlined, “Future Unauthorized Residents.” The section is on page 23 of the 63-page report.

“Unauthorized residents would find it harder both to enter the country and to find employment while unauthorized,” says the report. “However, other aspects of the bill would probably increase the number of unauthorized residents—in particular, people overstaying their visas issued under the new programs for temporary workers.”

That shouldn’t be surprising. Just look at Europe where migrant workers come and don’t leave. Opening the border to temporary workers really dispenses with the need for border crossings. Just come and don’t leave.

The government has neither the motivation nor the resources to track even a fraction of the illegal aliens in the country now. Add on a massive amount of guest workers vanishing into sanctuary cities and it will be more like a %175 increase.

It's the worst violation of religious freedom since the NYPD prevented a voodoo cult from practicing human sacrifice.

This is just tragic. It’s the worst violation of religious freedom since the NYPD prevented a voodoo cult from practicing human sacrifice. I’m still waiting for the ACLU to sue over the imprisonment of a Christian filmmaker for uploading a trailer to YouTube. I imagine I’ll be waiting for a very long time.

In a lawsuit being filed Tuesday, the lawyers say the spying has hindered residents from freely practicing their religion. It is the third significant legal action filed against the NYPD Muslim surveillance program since details of the spy program were revealed in a series of Associated Press reports in 2011 and 2012.

The lawsuit says Muslim religious leaders in New York have modified their sermons and other behavior to not draw additional police attention.

If your sermons have content that you don’t want police listening to, there might just be something wrong with your sermons or your religion.

This isn’t like reading someone’s private mail. This is a message that a religious leader gives to his congregation. If there’s something in the message that makes the police think “KABOOM” then that’s an admission of something wrong in the entire system of that religion.

According to the ACLU press release, “The NYPD is routinely violating the civil rights of Muslims across New York City by operating an unconstitutional religious profiling and suspicionless surveillance program, according to a federal lawsuit filed today by New York City residents represented by the New York Civil Liberties Union, the American Civil Liberties Union, and the Creating Law Enforcement Accountability & Responsibility (CLEAR) project of Main Street Legal Services, Inc. at CUNY School of Law.”

CUNY is a black hole funded by city and state taxpayers. And they’re being forced to fund a pro-terrorist lawsuit by a CUNY affiliate against them. It’s yet another argument for defunding CUNY and letting its horde of bigoted faculty and illiterate students rely on donors.

The landmark lawsuit charges that the NYPD’s Muslim Surveillance Program has imposed an unjustified badge of suspicion and stigma on hundreds of thousands of innocent New Yorkers.

Unjustified? Really? How many terror plots and corpses do we need before it’s justified?

“When a police department turns law-abiding people into suspects because they go to a mosque and not a church or a synagogue, it violates our Constitution’s guarantees of equality and religious freedom,” said Hina Shamsi, director of the ACLU National Security Project. “No one questions that the NYPD has a job to do, but spying on innocent New Yorkers because of their religion is a wrong and ineffective way to do it.”

Considering the number of terror plots the NYPD has broken up through such methods, it’s obviously effective.

Oh and a number of those plots targeted synagogues. So thank you NYPD and keep up the good work.

Imam Hamid Hassan Raza, spiritual leader of Brooklyn’s Masjid Al-Ansar mosque, has been taping his sermons for years because he is afraid an undercover officer or NYPD spy will misquote him or take a portion of a sermon out of context, subjecting him and his mosque to even more law enforcement scrutiny. After plainclothes officers visited him repeatedly for no reason, he has also stopped mentioning topics that the NYPD might consider controversial, and urges congregants to do the same. Raza has seen a steep decline in mosque attendance as a result of the Muslim Surveillance Program.

“I don’t talk to my congregants about current affairs or religious subjects the NYPD may find objectionable because I’m afraid of further police attention. The surveillance program has prevented me from fulfilling my duty as an imam,” Raza said.

Oddly Raza does not seem interested in elaborating on these subjects that he will not discuss.

You wouldn’t want to deport an Al Qaeda serial rapist. Just think of all the cultural enrichment he can offer Denmark. (via Religion of Peace)

The rape of the 10-year-old girl triggered strong feelings in the local community. It occurred on Saturday November, 19, 2011 in a wooded area in ‘Lyngens Kvarter’ in Gullestrup just outside Herning.

The perpetrator forced the two little girls to follow him. The youngest girl managed to escape, but he was able to rape the 10-year-old.

Next time, I’m sure he’ll do better. Now that Mohammed has been given a second chance to follow in the footsteps of his prophet by sexually abusing little girls.

‘The Danish justice system is a joke’. Those are the words of one of the victims of the Somali rapist in the ‘Gullestrup case’. Yesterday he received assurances from the High Court that he will not be deported.

On Monday the High Court in Viborg chose to moderate the punishment for the 18-year-old Ahmed Omar Mohamed, who last year was sentenced in the District Court to six years in prison and issued with a deportation order for raping a 10-year-old girl at a playground in Gullestrup in 2011. In addition to this he was sentenced for the attempted rape of the girl’s 9-year-old girlfriend, and for the attempted rape of a 17-year-old girl which occurred the same year.

Desirée Klein, who was 17 when the offender tried to rape her, one month before he carried out the Gullestrup rape, is flabbergasted.

“The Danish justice system is a joke. People that I discuss this matter with are shocked that he hasn’t been deported. It is traumatic and very unfair to think about that he might be out walking the streets within three years. I’m especially thinking about the girls in this case; they may have to live in the same city as him,” says Desirée Klein.

She was accosted by the then 16-year-old offender at the town square in Herning after a night out in October 2011. At knifepoint he ordered her to follow him into a stairwell and sexually violated her. Today she suffers from post-traumatic stress. The otherwise well-functioning girl has still not managed to complete her education.

“I think it’s unreasonable that he is given a second chance by Denmark.”

The offender’s defense attorney argued in the High Court that the offender should be allowed to remain in Denmark, because he has only attended Danish schools is well-integrated and that he has received his high school graduation diploma in prison. And on Monday the judge decided to listen to this argument.

Now that he has his High School diploma, he is clearly no longer a threat.

During the court case it was revealed that the perpetrator was affiliated with an al-Qaeda group as a child soldier.

Meanwhile the European left is radicalizing the natives.

I’m Karina Klein, I am the mother of D. You know her, the 18-year-old, he tried to rape her inside Herning, she exclaims suddenly. She obviously has something to say for her eyes are alight with fury.

“I have such a deep hatred for him, so you think it’s a lie. It is indeed pure hatred, and if only I could be allowed to be alone with him so … she says and disconnects herself from the threat.

“This case has changed everything – even for me. I used to not hang out with the Danish Defence League – now I do. And it’s actually me who invited them up here after the sentencing. They are a great support, she says.

Obama doesn’t seem to realize that the Taliban negotiate by killing people.

Obama called the Taliban’s announcement “an important first step toward reconciliation,” but cautioned that it was only “a very early step.”

“We anticipate there will be a lot of bumps in the road,” Mr. Obama said.

That was yesterday. Today one of those “bumps”, which is how Obama tends to describe murdered Americans, appeared.

Sky News reports that the Taliban acknowledged it was behind a rocket attack last night on Bagram Air Base, launched just hours after the US announced it would be holding peace talks with the Islamist group on Thursday. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said: “Last night two big rockets were launched at Bagram which hit the target. Four soldiers are dead and six others are wounded. The rockets caused a major fire.

Meanwhile the Afghans are disgusted by Obama’s Taliban appeasement and are breaking off negotiations with him.

Separately, the US and Afghanistan had been discussing an extended presence for American troops in the country past 2014, when NATO forces are set to withdraw from all combat operations in the country. But in a statement released by Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s office, the government said today that it was suspending those talks “in view of the contradiction between acts and the statements made by the United States of America in regard to the peace process.”

Although the initial statement did not elaborate on the contradiction, a senior Afghan official told Reuters that the issue was over the “official identity” being given to the Taliban, who opened an office in Doha, Qatar, on Tuesday.

“The Doha office gave the Taliban an official identity, something we didn’t want,” the Afghan official said.

“The U.S. officials told us the office will be used to move peace talks forward, but not to give them an identity.

“The Taliban’s flag and the banner of the Islamic Emirate was something we did not expect at the office,” the official said, referring o the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the name the Taliban used during their rule.

The Taliban made it clear in their statement that they intend to reestablish the Emirate. By negotiating with them, Obama has essentially agreed to those terms.

Now the Afghans want American soldiers gone because they suspect Obama Inc. will try to force its version of a Taliban government on the country through a “democratic election”.

It’s another diplomatic triumph for the Post-American tag team of Obama and Kerry.

But at least he was doing it for the kids. His kids.

A self-proclaimed Islamic cleric and native doctor has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for selling human parts. 60-year-old Gazali Akewadola, was said to have killed innocent people and used their parts to perform rituals.

He also confessed to eating some of the parts while the other parts were used in making charms for his customers with a full live human being cost between N30, 000 and N40, 000.

“I am an Islamic teacher and a cleric and I own an Islamic school in Owode, Yewa. I am also married with eight lovely children.
“I am also a native doctor. I cure people of ailments and help those who want to become rich quick. I use human parts to prepare charms and concoctions for them.”

According to reports, he was asked if he could sell the parts of his children, but he replied: “God forbid! I do ritual because the money I make from sales is used for the well-being of my children. Also, if I had killed my children and sold them, it could have aroused suspicion and my relations might expose me but if the people I use for the ritual are brought from far away, it is safer for me and my business.”

“It is cheaper to buy a live human. You get a lot of parts from it and it is more powerful because the efficacy of the charm or concoction you prepared with fresh parts cannot be compared with the ones you prepared with parts you got from the grave.”

“For instance, a live human being will give you blood. There is charm you can prepare with it. The same body will give you hairs from private parts, head and moustache. You can also cut out private parts. Each part of human being is useful. Even the meat and intestine, liver, heart, eyes, lips, tongues can be used for pepper soup.

“If you buy full human being for N30, 000 or N40, 000 and dismember it, you can end up getting N100, 000 or more because you get more than ten parts and can yield good money.”

When asked why he ate human parts, he said, “It tastes so good and better than animal meat especially when taken with hot drink, or wine or beer but the most essence of eating it is to assure those who patronise us see that it is eatable and sweet, and of spiritual and physical benefits. It can cure serious illness and can make one get rich quick.”

The suspect, who was not remorseful for his crime, said his only regret was that he had not become as rich as he wanted to be. “My regret is that I did not become rich even after selling human parts. I even found it difficult to feed my family sometimes,” he said.

So much for the “Get Rich Quick Selling Human Bodies” scheme. If you want to know the official Islamic position on cannibalism…

“We allowed the eating of the flesh of dead humans… under necessary conditions. It [Dead human flesh] must not be cooked or grilled to avoid Haram [wrongdoing]. …and he can kill a murtadd (apostate) and eat him.”

No word on whether the Nigerian Islamic cannibal grilled before eating. That would be Haram.

If Erdogan does go for the military option, there is always the possibility that the military might take advantage of the situation to arrest him.

This threat might be slightly more credible if the AKP hadn’t spent the last decade purging much of the military command while accusing it of vast conspiracies. It’s possible that the Islamists have managed to take control and intimidate enough of the former secular bastion that they can use them safely to suppress protesters… but I wouldn’t count on it.

Turkey’s government warned Monday it may deploy the military against protesters who continue to defy officials by taking to the street in what the interior minister called “illegal” demonstrations.

The warning is the first time the Islamist-rooted government has mentioned use of the military to restore public order. The military establishment traditionally has been seen as a bastion of secularism in Turkey and a foe of past Islamist political figures.

“First, if necessary we will deploy the police,” Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said on Monday. “If that’s not enough we will call on the (national guard). But if events still require further action, and the governor so wishes, we will resort to calling on the military to contain these protests.”

Pulling the military is the big endgame. If that doesn’t work, then your regime is done. And even Eurocrats are likely to take a step back from admitting a regime that used the military against protesters.

And if Erdogan does go for the military option, there is always the possibility that the military might take advantage of the situation to arrest him.

Five major unions representing public sector workers, doctors, engineers and architects have called their rank-and-file out on a one-day strike and march in city centers across Turkey

So Occupy Gezi held on long enough to bring out some of the Istanbul elite out into the streets. Now the game may actually be changing.

The numbers have actually gone up as Americans have learned more about the Sunni side of the Muslim religious war taking place in Syria.

Broad majorities continue to oppose the U.S. and its allies sending arms and military supplies to anti-government groups in Syria. Last Thursday’s announcement that the U.S. would aid the rebels has not increased public support for action, and majorities of all partisan groups are opposed.

Overall, 70% oppose the U.S. and its allies sending arms and military supplies to anti-government groups in Syria; just 20% favor this. Opinion is little changed from December of last year (24% favor) and support is down slightly from March, 2012 (29% favor).

Despite fawning media coverage of the Free Syrian Army, most Americans don’t seem to be convinced.

60 percent say Syrian opposition groups may be no better than the government.

Among Dems opposition falls to 52 percent. But still a majority. Among Republicans, it hits 64 percent. Independents broadly oppose by 74 percent.

Even supporters are fairly weak.

More than half (56%) of those who favor arming rebels agree with the statement that U.S. military forces are too overcommitted to get involved in another conflict, and 55% agree that the opposition groups in Syria may be no better than the current government. However, far larger majorities agree that it is important for the U.S. to support people who oppose authoritarian regimes (76%) and that the U.S. has a moral obligation to do what it can to stop the violence in Syria (75%).

Except the violence won’t stop.

“We anticipate there will be a lot of bumps in the road," Mr. Obama said.

As a prelude to negotiations with Obama, under the auspices of the terror state of Qatar, the Taliban (or some of them anyway) issued a statement. Here’s the official misleading coverage from the New York Times…

The Taliban signaled a breakthrough in efforts to open Afghan peace negotiations on Tuesday, announcing the opening of a political office in Qatar and new readiness to talk with American and Afghan officials, who said in turn that they would travel to meet insurgent negotiators there within days.

Obama called the Taliban’s announcement “an important first step toward reconciliation,” but cautioned that it was only “a very early step.”

“We anticipate there will be a lot of bumps in the road,” Mr. Obama said.

The Taliban “would not allow anyone to threaten the security of other countries from the soil of Afghanistan,” Mr. Naim added, and seeks “a political and peaceful solution” to the conflict.

The wording adhered to previous requirements by American officials in informal talks leading up the announcement, officials said. The first element, in particular, is vital — it represents the beginning of what is hoped will become a public break with Al Qaeda, which the Taliban sheltered before the Sept. 11 attacks, the officials said.

While the Taliban statement does indeed contain the statement about not allowing anyone to threaten other countries from Afghanistan, the Taliban make it clear that they endorse international terrorism and are out to create an Islamist state, disavowing the Obama Inc expectations that they would “break their ties with al Qaeda, end the violence and accept the Afghan constitution, especially the protections for women and minorities.”

It is well known to all that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has been waging jihad to put an end to the occupation and form an independent Islamic system. To reach this goal it has utilised every lawful means.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan simultaneously follows military and political actions and aims which are limited to Afghanistan. The Islamic Emirate never wants to pose harms to other countries from its soil, nor will it allow anyone to cause a threat to the security of countries from the soil of Afghanistan.

Since the Taliban operates in Pakistan as well, this is a bit of a fib already. But let’s read on for the Taliban Tall Tales

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan wants good relations with all the countries of the world including the neighbouring countries, on the basis of mutual respect and while desiring security at the country level, the Islamic Emirate wants security and justice at the world level.

So, no. The Taliban isn’t really limited to Afghanistan. Not if it seeks “security and justice at the world level”. Justice is slang for imposing the Islamic system on others.

Of course the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan considerers it its religious and national duty to gain independence from the occupation and for that purpose has utilised every legitimate way and will utilise it in future too.

Similarly at world level, it considers the struggles and efforts by the miserable and oppressed nations for achievement of their legitimate rights and independence as their due rights, because people have the right to liberate their countries from colonialism and obtain their rights.

Here the Taliban state it in black and white (behind some borrowed leftist dogma) that they intend to continue aiding international campaigns of terror.

Western negotiators might try to fancifully imagine that the Taliban only mean Israel as their example of liberating countries from colonialism, but under Islamic doctrine every country not ruled by Islamic law is colonized by Western powers.

The six teenage boys put on trial for the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl represent a rainbow of Muslim diversity. There are Turks, Arabs and Africans.

So naturally after the trial, the judge threw the book at them the way only a Swedish judge can throw the book at Muslim immigrants who are contributing to the country’s rich diversity.

Five of the teens were found guilty of aggravated rape by the Solna District Court on Friday, with the sixth guilty of attempted aggravated rape.

The attack took place in early March at an apartment in Tensta, where one of the teens dealt out condoms while the other five took turns raping the 15-year-old girl.

The court took into account that the girl’s information included “a cohesive, long, and relatively detailed account” of the incident that did not contain “any contradictions or elements to the story that could be considered inexplicable”.

Despite denying the incident occurred when the trial opened, four of the boys have since confessed to having had intercourse with the girl at the time, but have denied committing any crime. The boy who allegedly provided the condoms has denied everything.

“According to the court, their explanations as to why they’ve changed their story are not sustainable, but suggest that they’re trying to hide something,” the court wrote, according to the TT news agency.

Five of the boys have been sentenced to over 100 hours of community service each, and have been ordered to pay 55,000 kronor ($8,500) each in damages to the victim.

The punishment was less severe than it could have been as the boys are minors, and the court also concluded that they had already been punished to some extent by having their pictures and their personal details exposed on the internet.

Less severe? You don’t say. But don’t worry. The UN ranks Sweden highly when it comes to women’s rights. Unfortunately the right not to be raped by a Muslim immigrant isn’t one of those rights.

The U.S. is to give more than $300 million in additional “life-saving humanitarian assistance” to Syrians caught up in the country’s civil war, Barack Obama has announced, taking the total amount given since the conflict began to nearly $815 million.

What does that 815 million dollars add up to?

Obama fired 20,000 Marines to save 10 billion dollars. He’s spent around 1.5 billion now on aid to the Palestinian Authority and Sunni refugees in Syria alone. Another half a billion for Egypt and its Muslim Brotherhood government brings us up to 2 billion.

Then there’s 3.6 billion for the United Nations. That gets us to 5.6 billion dollars. And there’s another 6 billion for Muslim green energy in Asia.

That brings us to 11.6 billion dollars. Or more than enough to pay for those 20,000 Marines that Obama decided to purge. Certainly more than enough to pay for the shameful backlog in veterans’ benefits.

But the terrorists of the Muslim Brotherhood are a bigger priority for Obama than American soldiers.

Someone has to blow up the buildings that Americans won’t blow up.

The Department of Homeland Security on Monday issued new regulations that will allow more Syrian refugees to temporarily settle in the United States.

The department estimates that about 9,000 people will be eligible to come to America under the 18-month extension to March 2015 of the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Syrians. Another 2,600 or so Syrians already here will be able to apply to renew their status. The Obama administration first gave TPS designation to Syrian citizens and residents last year, and the status was set to expire on Sept. 30.

“The extension of the current Syria TPS designation and re-designation is due to the continued disruption of living conditions in the country that are a result of the extraordinary and temporary conditions that led to the initial TPS designation of Syria in 2012,” the Homeland Security Department said. “The extension is based on ongoing armed conflict in that region and the continued deterioration of country conditions.”

Why extend TPS to a date two years from now when we have no idea whether the Syrian Civil War will last that long? Because TPS is effectively infinite.

Last week, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano announced that TPS had been extended for at least 70,000 Hondurans and Nicaraguans “for an additional 18 months, beginning July 6, 2013, and ending Jan. 5, 2015.” Thanks to American generosity, these TPS winners have been here since 1998 — when Hurricane Mitch hit their homeland.

That was 15 years ago.

Another 250,000 illegal aliens from El Salvador first won TPS golden tickets after an earthquake struck the country … in January 2001. In addition, 60,000 Haitians received TPS after the earthquakes in 2010. Last fall, Napolitano extended their stay until at least 2014. Several hundred Somalis remain in the country with TPS first granted in 1991, along with some 700 Sudanese who first secured TPS benefits in 1997. Last March, the Obama administration extended TPS to an estimated 3,000 Syrian illegal aliens. Guatemala and Pakistan are lobbying for their own TPS designations.

If those 9,000 come. They’re never leaving.

"I hate your government, your lies, your corruption, your religion, your double acts and your hypocrisy," wrote the future president's son in his suicide note.

The news is full of cheerful reports that Iran new clerical president Hassan Rouhani is a “moderate”. Since Hassan Rouhani was really chosen by the clerical regime, rather than the voters, as the last election should have made clear, Hassan Rouhani’s supposed moderation doesn’t matter.

Iran’s government has not changed. Only the guy out front has. Iran is still run by an alliance between Islamist clerics and the Islamist militias of the Revolutionary Guard.

And Hassan Rouhani is about as moderate as Ahmadinejad. He just wears a better public face.

The leading London-based pan-Arab newspaper al-Sharq al-Awsat reports today that Iranian President-Elect Hassan Rouhani’s eldest son took his own life in 1992, in protest at his father’s involvement with Iran’s murderous Islamic regime and his father’s close ties to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

“I hate your government, your lies, your corruption, your religion, your double acts and your hypocrisy,” wrote the future president’s son in his suicide note, according to the Saudi-owned paper. “I am ashamed to live in such an environment where I’m forced to lie to my friends each day, telling them that my father isn’t part of all of this. Telling them my father loves this nation, whereas I believe this to be not true. It makes me sick seeing you, my father, kiss the hand of Khamenei.”

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei would be the guy who actually runs the country and chose Rouhani. The Revolutionary Guard has endorsed him.

Rouhani has been involved in the Islamic revolution since its murderous beginning. In 1978 he moved to France to join Ayatollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic revolution, who was living in exile in Paris.

He then helped found the Islamic regime in Tehran and for the last three decades has been intimately involved in its security apparatus (which has killed and tortured hundreds of thousands of people).

Among the security positions Rouhani has held:

* He was chairman of the Majles Defense Committee from 1985-1989

* He was deputy commander-in-chief during the Iran-Iraq War from 1988-1989

* He was supreme commander of civil defense from 1985-1990, and commander of the Khatam-ol-Anbiya Headquarters

* His most notable position was Chairman of the Supreme National Security Council (1989-2005), the period in which the Supreme National Security Council helped mastermind the 1994 bombing of the Jewish cultural center in Buenos Aires, killing 85 people (including many elderly Holocaust survivors), and of the Khobar Towers in 1996, killing 19 U.S. airmen

He is still Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s personal representative on the council, and informed sources say that Khamenei engineered his victory in last weekend’s election as a ruse to fool the West, to help western powers lower their guard – as some western diplomats already appear to be doing.

All they needed was an excuse.

President Obama said Monday that the Iranian people have “rebuffed the hardliners and the clerics” in the country by electing a moderate president over the weekend.

It’s not exactly a great surprise, considering that Indonesia’s recent history includes genocide against Christians in East Timor and the mass rapes of Chinese women.

Still Indonesia is one of those Muslim countries that politicians like to pretend is moderate and a good example. By comparison to Saudi Arabia, it might be. By comparison to even the most elementary standards of human rights and religious tolerance… not so much.

The last vestige of one Indonesia’s oldest and largest Jewish communities is now just a pile of rubble. Beth Shalom in Surabaya — Java’s one and only synagogue — was demolished in May after being sealed off by Islamic hard-liners in 2009.

A small, Dutch-style building located on a 2,000 square meter plot of land in the middle of Surabaya’s business district, Beth Shalom looked like an ordinary house in the neighborhood. The only features that distinguished it as a synagogue were its mezuzah (Torah scrolls fastened to an entrance way) and the two Star of David carvings on its door.

“There were many artifacts inside the building which can’t be found in other heritage sites,” Freddy said.

In January 2009, Muslim demonstrators sealed off Beth Shalom and burned an Israeli flag to protest the country’s attacks on the Gaza Strip at the time.

Soemarsono, the head of the National Unity and Society Protection Agency of Surabaya, claimed that the synagogue was an illegal structure because it did not possess proper building permits.

Soemarsono, the head of the National Unity and Society Protection Agency of Surabaya, claimed that the synagogue was an illegal structure because it did not possess proper building permits.

Sachiroel noted, though, that most of Indonesia’s oldest buildings don’t have building permits since such a requirement was only introduced during the Suharto era.

“The synagogue was built before Indonesia declared its independence,” he said. “How could it have a building permit?”

Rivka Sayers, a Jewish woman of Iraqi descent, reportedly lived in the synagogue’s compound since 1970. She said that only three families regularly visited the synagogue to celebrate the Sabbath and holidays such as Passover and Rosh Hashanah.

Indonesia’s last surviving synagogue is located in Manado, Sulawesi.

From the Islamic point of view, that’s one down and one to go.

What does Marco Rubio stand for? Anything you want him to.

Marco Rubio is likable. That likability is his chief asset. Even as he champions a wildly unpopular bill among his own base, his numbers remain high. It’s not just magic.

Rubio is everywhere. If you tune in to Univision, you can hear him promising legalization. If you watch FOX News, you’ll hear him express disappointment in his own bill, almost sounding as he might not vote for the very thing that he has staked his entire career on.

There are many Rubios. At times it seems as if there are as many Rubios as there are Obama. A flock of smiling men with neat black hair who can talk Tupac, the American dream and anything in between for as long as you want them too.

Anyone can have a Rubio and if you don’t like your Rubio, just send him back and in two to four weeks a new Rubio will arrive hoping to meet your expectations.

Who is the real Rubio? Is he the passionate conservative or a sharp Florida politician? Is he the man saying that border security comes before legalization to a conservative audience or the man saying that legalization comes before border security to an Hispanic audience?

The real Rubio isn’t likable. The real Rubio wants to be liked. The real Rubio is desperately insecure and desperate to please everyone at the same time. The real Rubio is in over his head.

A Rubio aide was quoted as saying that there are American workers who can’t cut it. That is no doubt true and Rubio is one of them. Marco Rubio moved up the ladder too fast. Too much was put on him too fast and he’s trying to juggle everything in the air without dropping his likability.

What does Marco Rubio stand for? Anything you want him to.

Okay, they can dance sometimes

As I write this, an ice cream truck has passed playing its usual dirge. The music has inspired me to head to the kitchen for some ice cream, but so far I’m keeping the cravings for whiskey under control.

When people hear quotes like these…

“It’s a chain reaction – when people listen to music, they ask for alcohol, which will lead to adultery,” said Imam Mahmoud Abdel of Masjid Annur Islamic Center. “One step leads to another in the majority of cases.”

…they assume it’s another Saudi whackjob reporting from a country where women driving is a national security threat. But the Masjid Annur Islamic Center is actually the largest mosque in Sacramento, California.

The imams of Sacramento’s two biggest mosques declared that music is not permissible according to the Prophet Muhammad, Allah’s messenger.

“It’s a chain reaction – when people listen to music, they ask for alcohol, which will lead to adultery,” said Imam Mahmoud Abdel of Masjid Annur Islamic Center. “One step leads to another in the majority of cases. It’s well known that anybody who listens to music a lot will be distracted from his or her mission, which is worshipping God Almighty.”

Imam Mumtaz Qasmi of Sacramento’s Downtown Mosque said there’s not a mosque in the world that allows music. “So how can we allow it outside the mosque?” he asked.

And then how do we allow it in the entire country? That’s the logic that leads to Islamic law becoming the law of the land.

The only instrument the Prophet Muhammad allowed was a tabla, or drum, and not more than two at a time, Qasmi said.

The tabla – which will be played at the Crest – “can make you feel relaxed, but nowadays there are hundreds of instruments, and music actually makes you high, 100 percent,” Qasmi said. “Music has magic, it gets in your blood and makes you want to get up and dance and forget your personality. Your butt is shaking and she’s going to get up and her butt is going to shake – where is the religion then?”

Well I’m convinced. There is no room in Islam for such immoral activities. Not unless a Muslim kills a bunch of innocent people first and then gets to paradise where he will consort with 72 virgins.

Last year Morsi freed one of the monsters behind the Luxor Massacre. Now he appointed another member of The Islamic Group as the Governor of Luxor. His plans for increasing tourism reportedly involve a massive ad campaign followed by a major massacre.

As they ran past a Japanese tourist, she said, one of the men fired into the woman’s face from a range of about 15 inches.

The gunmen “took all the young women, the girls, and disappeared with them. I don’t know where they went with the women, but they hurt them. We could hear screams of pain,” Dousse said.

Among the horrors, the marauders cut off the ears and noses of several of their victims. A note praising Islam was found inside one disemboweled body.

The foreign dead included 31 Swiss, 10 Japanese, five Germans, four Britons one a child a Bulgarian, a Colombian and a French citizen. The Japanese victims were four newlywed couples and an elderly couple on their second honeymoon.

This is Morsi’s new Egypt. Take a long hard look at it. This is what Obama has brought to power.

A member of the movement whose gunmen killed 58 foreigners at a temple in Luxor in 1997 was sworn in by Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi on Monday as governor of the vital tourist region.

Adel Mohamed al-Khayat, who now represents the Building and Development Party, political wing of the once violent al-Gamaa al-Islamiya movement

‘No to the terrorist governor!’ read one placard at a demonstration by dozens of tourism workers who protested outside the governor’s office in Luxor.

Khayat, then in his mid-40s, was a leader of al-Gamaa al-Islamiya in another province when, on Nov. 17, 1997, six young men from the group shot their way into the Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor’s Valley of the Queens.

The attack was part of a broader campaign by the group, at that time linked to al Qaeda, to cripple tourism revenues for the government of then-president Hosni Mubarak. Of the 62 people killed in the next hour, 58 were foreign tourists, more than half of them Swiss and the rest Japanese, British, German and Colombian.

The gunmen, reported to have trained at al Qaeda camps in Afghanistan, committed suicide.

But I’m sure that Adel Mohamed al-Khayat has some great plans for increasing tourism.

In Luxor, where tourism dropped off sharply after the 1997 attack and has been hit again by the unrest before and since Mubarak’s fall, some of the protesters expressed concern that radical Islam could cause even further damage.

The new governor’s party has called for a ban on alcohol and night clubs and wants visitors to cover up and not wear skimpy clothing.

Khayat himself was quoted in one Egyptian newspaper on Monday as saying he would welcome ‘all forms of tourism’.

I just bet.

Witnesses told how the terrorists methodically executed the European tourists. Some were forced to kneel before being shot, while others were stabbed to death.

Little Shaunnah, her mum and gran, all from Ripponden, West Yorks, died alongside fellow Brits George Wigham, 69, and wife Ivy, 71, of Swanley, Kent, and Londoner Sylvia Wilder, 26.

Shaunnah’s dad Richard said after the horror: “In a crowd she would shine. She was really beautiful. She had an impish charm that could win anybody over.”

How convenient.

Obama Inc. has chosen not to provide anti-aircraft missiles to the Free Syrian Army’s Islamist militias, but conveniently the Saudis have stepped in to provide those.

The practical difference is minimal. The Saudis are deliberately using Euro weapons for the same reason that the UAE shipped non-American weapons into Libya. Obama Inc. knew what the UAE was doing, but asked them not to use American weapons. It’s called plausible deniability.

American officials say that the United Arab Emirates first approached the Obama administration during the early months of the Libyan uprising, asking for permission to ship American-built weapons that the United States had supplied for the emirates’ use. The administration rejected that request, but instead urged the emirates to ship weapons to Libya that could not be traced to the United States.

“The U.A.E. was asking for clearance to send U.S. weapons,” said one former official. “We told them it’s O.K. to ship other weapons.”

I would say that the odds are good that this is what just happened with the Saudis in Syria. That Obama didn’t want to be associated with any potential fallout from providing anti-aircraft weapons to the terrorists and let the Saudis do it instead.

Saudi Arabia plans to supply the Syrian opposition with anti-aircraft missiles to counter President Bashar al-Assad’s air force, German news weekly Der Spiegel reported Sunday.

The article, citing a classified report received by the German foreign intelligence service and the German government last week, said Riyadh was looking at sending European-made Mistral-class MANPADS, or man-portable air-defence systems.

Der Spiegel noted the shoulder-launched surface-to-air missiles can target low-flying aircraft including helicopters and had given mujahideen fighters in Afghanistan a decisive edge against Soviet troops in the 1980s.

If you were looking for another reason to feel completely confident about the Gang of 8′s amnesty bill. Here it is. The 9th member of the gang is Obama. And he’s the senior ranking member.

The White House is playing a larger role in developing the Gang of Eight’s immigration bill than its supporters publicly admit, according to a forthcoming article in The New Yorker.

“‘No decisions are being made without talking to us about it,’ the official said of the Gang of Eight negotiations … ‘This does not fly if we’re not O.K. with it,’” a senior Obama official told author Ryan Lizza for the pending article.

White House officials also believe the emerging bill will be a huge success for President Barack Obama.

“If a Gang of Eight-style bill is signed into law by the President, it will probably be one of the top five legislative accomplishments in the last twenty years,” the official said. “It’s a huge piece of business.”

A White House spokesman said earlier that White House lawyers are participating in the drafting of the bill. But Obama and White House officials have kept a low profile to avoid deterring GOP cooperation.

However, they expect to seize the credit from Latinos once a bill is signed, the New Yorker article said. “We’re not worried about short-term political credit. We’ll get plenty of it if it gets signed,” the official told The New Yorker.

Any Republican who backs amnesty is getting played like a fiddle by Obama.
