I was too tired playing for the past few days, hey wait, I think I forget to mention I am back in Malaysia for holidays now XD I spent couple of days in KL before I go back to my home town Ipoh. Malaysia&#39;s first stop: I would like to recommend this restaurant/ cafe (very good ambience in there =D). They mainly serve desserts, but they do sell savoury food. We had our breakfast there so we ordered only buns and coffee, actually their pasta &amp;amp; soup look nice too! The bun itself is impressive! I am very impressed by the Walnut cream cheese bun that is covered by poppy seeds. (I don&#39;t remember the exact name but for sure you can recognise this distinguished bun if you reach there) Inside the bun is cream cheese (do you even need to mention this??) and dried fruits, sweet and tasty. The Custard cream donut is a MUST-TRY!! It is corn-flakes-covered (add to the crunchiness) and the custard is not too sweet, superb combination XD As for the Durian melon bun, the filling tastes just like a real durian, while the bun is crunchy outside. Frankly speaking, I am not a durian fan but I am sure durian fans will like it. Try normal melon bun if you are someone like me. The caramel nut danish is nice too! Nuts-lover shouldn&#39;t miss it. The Japan ?? bun (sorry I forget the name again T.T) is nice but it&#39;s pretty normal, feels like something we can get from normal bakery. The most disappointing thing I would say, is the Chestnut Mont Blanc. I always see this dessert in Japanese comic and hence, been wanting to try it since then. Is it because I have too high expectation? It tastes really normal and even worse, with some sort of sourish taste. I don&#39;t know whether it&#39;s spoiled or is that the original taste?&lt;br /&gt;

Well for the Cappuccino, I think Australia&#39;s one is better. The cappuccino here is not as creamy and smooth. Considered not bad though, a good match for something sweet =)&lt;br /&gt;

哟哟好久不见！小女子又偷懒了 XP 与其说是偷懒，不如说是玩得太疯，玩得太累！前几天我刚回到马来西亚，在吉隆坡逗留了好几天，每一天都要玩得全身虚脱才肯罢休！阿不然就太浪费在吉隆坡的时光了~哈哈哈！不过就可怜了我的妹妹，她在吉隆坡工作，比较熟悉哪里好玩好吃，所以这几天就由她带我上山下海。每天回家看到她一副“惨”样，我就会故意问她：“为什么你这么累的？” 于是她就会以一种“还不是因为你”的厌恶眼神看着我，哈哈哈太好玩了XD&lt;br /&gt;

马来西亚第一炮：给各位介绍这个美死人不偿命的餐厅~它主要卖甜点，但也有卖主食。那天早上我们吃的是面包早餐和咖啡，其他像意大利面什么的没有点。单单它的面包就让我大为惊艳了！首先我对那个布满了黑色 poppy seeds 的 Walnut cream cheese bun 印象深刻。（名字不太肯定，不过你去到那边一定会认得这个很有特色的面包)。它里面有cream cheese (那还用说？！）和各种干果，味道吃起来甜而不腻。再来那个 Custard cream donut 也是好吃得没话说！！不太甜的 custard 配上那香脆的 corn flakes 表层，一个“赞”绝对不足于形容我对你的爱恋 XD XD 我们还点了Durian melon bun，面包表层非常香脆可口，咬下去里面是满满的榴莲味。。。只可惜我不是榴莲的“饭死”，要不然我一定也很爱你！建议不爱榴莲的人试试它们的melon bun，我相信也会很好吃噢 =) 另外也点了Caramel nut danish, 爱豆人士绝对不能错过~全桌唯一的咸面包-- Japan ？？bun (又忘记名字了 T.T) 好吃是好吃，但没有令我惊艳，感觉外面的面包店也能吃到类似的口味。这么多餐点里面，最让我失望的是 Chesnut mont blanc。话说我看日本漫画时常会出现栗子蒙布朗，所以小女子对这个没吃过的甜点一直很向往。。。终于！在Levain发现了它！于是迫不及待地买下来尝尝~是因为期望太大吗？它吃起来很普通，而且还带有一点酸味。。。不知道是坏了还是原本的味道就是这样。&lt;br /&gt;

至于它的Cappuccino呢~就比澳洲逊色了一点~没那么香滑浓郁。不过还算不错，配甜点蛮合适的 =)&lt;br /&gt;

Ghin Khao Thai Food，是一间我走过很多次都没发现的餐厅。。。其实它就座落在Swanston大街上。外观看来很普通的餐厅，可是因为是跟很要好的朋友一起吃的，所以就显得特别起来了 =) 走入餐厅后发现气氛还不错哦！&lt;br /&gt;

两个女生也吃不了多少，我们点了 Thai Fish Cake, Pad Thai Chicken 和 Tom Yum Chicken with Noodle。 Thai Fish Cake 很令人惊艳！我觉得东南亚的料理很不可思议，它们用各种香料，搭配出一种独特又多层次的风味。像这个 Fish Cake 的味道就很丰富，各种味道交杂在一起可是却很搭。我点的 Pad Thai Chicken 嘛，就比较逊色一点了。它的面条偏细，偶个人还是比较喜欢 Saffront Thai （另一件在 Caulfield 的泰国餐厅）版本的面条啦~撇开口感不说，味道还算不错。再来说说我朋友点的 Tom Yum Chicken with Noodle,这个就更逊色一点了。。。哈哈！！那 Tom Yum 口味偏淡，汤也比较清澈见底。我曾听说正宗的泰国 Tom Yum Soup 就长这个样子，可能是个人喜好的关系，我们都偏好口味重一点的 Tom Yum Soup。&lt;br /&gt;

This restaurant is quite easily-found, located right next to Each Richmond train station. The signboard looks really old but the food they serve...superb. We visited the restaurant in November, so I don&#39;t quite remember the exact names on the menu, what I remember is that everyone on the table felt satisfied with the food.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I ordered something called the Seafood Basket, it came in a pretty generous size. The scallop, prawn, fish and chips were all fried and seasoned well, eating them with the crunchy salad is such a pleasure to have XD Shee Ling ordered their pasta, looked very nice too. There is another thing called &quot;Sea Catch of the Day&quot;, whereby you get to pick your own fish (they have Whiting, Barramundi, etc), the way you want it to be cooked (tempura, steam, grill, etc) and 2 side dish (chips, sweet potato chips, salad, wedges, etc). Visit the place and have your very own specific meal.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The cost per meal here is around AUD 20 ~ 40, a bit pricey but in my opinion, worth the price =)&lt;br /&gt;

这餐厅不难找，就在 East Richmond 火车站的附近。招牌看来旧旧的，但里面的食物可是一鸣惊人呐～因为是十一月去的，点的餐名都不太记得了。。。只知道在座的每个朋友对它的食物都是赞赏有加　^^&lt;br /&gt;

我点的那个叫 Seafood Basket 什么的，分量蛮大，而且无论是带子，虾，鱼片，薯条，都炸得很脆很好吃！配上爽口的沙拉简直是绝配　XD　Shee Ling 点了它们的 Pasta，看来也很好吃。这里还有个很特别的配套，叫&quot;Sea Catch of the Day&quot;（大概是像酱的名字）－－你可以选择任何一种鱼类，配上自己喜欢的烹饪方式（天妇罗，清蒸，烧烤等等），然后再选两样配菜（有薯条，番薯条，沙拉等等），组成属于自己的套餐。呼呼～大家不妨去试试呗！&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; 300 ml thickened cream&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; 60g butter&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Method: (A): 1. Place chopped dates in a bowl, add bicarbonate of soda, then pour in boiling water. Set aside for 20 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;2. Use mixer to mix butter and sugar until pale and creamy.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;3. Add in eggs and stir, 1 at a time.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;4. Add in flour and stir well.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;5. Mix the date mixture from Step 1. with the flour batter.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;6. Pour the mixture into 8 small bowls OR a 22cm cake tin (greased). Bake at 180 C for 35-40 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;(B): 1. Combine all ingredients for (B). Cook and stir with medium heat until it comes to the boil. Then lower the heat to medium-low and simmer for 2 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; 60 克牛油&lt;br /&gt;

做法：(A): １。将切碎的枣置于碗内，加入小苏打，再倒入热水。搁置２０分钟。&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;２。用搅拌机将牛油和黄糖搅拌至均匀。&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; 　 &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; ３。慢慢加入蛋搅匀，一次一粒。&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;４。加入自发粉搅匀。&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;５。将步骤１。的枣和面糊混合并搅匀。&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;６。倒入８个小碗或１个２２公分的蛋糕器皿（先抹油在器皿上），烤１８０度，３５－４０分钟。&lt;br /&gt;

Today I would like to present to you...the &quot;Grandmother&#39;s somen&quot;! Somen is called &quot;mee shua&quot; in Hokkien. I find this direct translation a bit funny but anyway~this is a recipe taken from 《现代心素派》 edited by DaAi TV (Taiwan), and I twisted the recipe a bit to suit my own preference. I suppose this is a traditional food in Taiwan~ Although my grandmother in Malaysia never cook this, I find this mee shua really yummy and appetising ^^&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ingredients：(A) mee shua for 1 person, sesame oil, sliced ginger, 1 egg&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;(B) salt, cooking wine (rice wine), brown sugar &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Method：1. Cook mee shua with boiling water until 70% cooked.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; 2. Use sesame oil to fry a sunny-side-up.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; 3. Stir fry the sliced ginger, then put in the mee shua. Pour in the pre-combined (B), stir fry the mee&amp;nbsp;shua until it absorbs all the (B).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Tips: 1. Don&#39;t overcook the mee shua or else it can get too soft.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; 2. Mix the cooking wine and brown sugar with 1 : 1 proportion.&amp;nbsp; Add more or less depending on your&amp;nbsp;own preference.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Simple but nice! The sweetness of sugar combined with a hint of bitter from the cooking wine-- perfect match XD &lt;br /&gt;

I ordered their Chicken Laksa, I was shocked once again by their soup...it&#39;s no doubt the best laksa in Melbourne! It has a very thick soup base, and it&#39;s jam-packed with flavours! Lemongrass, shallot, garlic, shrimp paste...it seems to possess every ingredient that a good laksa should have. I can see the chef&#39;s effort and love in there =)&lt;br /&gt;

Although I ordered chicken, I would prefer to recommend their Fish Head Laksa (I wanted to order this but it was ordered by my friend first T.T). The deep-fried fish head was crispy outside while soft and tender inside. Don&#39;t miss out this if you are a fish lover.&lt;br /&gt;

Method: 1. Coat the pudding moulds with butter (easier to remove pudding from the mould later)&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 2.&amp;nbsp;Cook the mixture of &quot;4 tbsp sugar + 2 tbsp&amp;nbsp;water&quot; with medium heat until it turns into brown colour. Remove from heat and add 1 tbsp of hot water (Be careful! the caramel can spill). Then pour the caramel into moulds.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 3. Heat up and stir the mixture of &quot;milk + 5 tbsp sugar&quot;. Cook until sugar dissolves, no need to boil&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 4. Whisk eggs with least bubbles possible (Make sure the whisk doesn&#39;t leave the bottom of the bowl, that helps to minimize bubbles =D )&lt;br /&gt;

Method: 1. Mix (A)&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; 3. Slowly pour (B) into (A). Stir gently, &lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;do not overmix&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; 4. Pour 3. into muffin cups , bake at 200 degrees C (fan-forced), for 20 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;

Tips: Never ever overmix the batter. I for once overmixed it, and the result was...muffin as hard as a rock!&amp;nbsp;haha! The batter should look a bit lumpy.&lt;br /&gt;
