for I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance. Written from a jail cell Paul is not sure if he will live or die, but he is confident that Christ will be exalted, no matter what the outcome. We are in a fear filled time. We all face fears that our lives will not amount to much or will be a source of shame, but Paul gives us hope. If Christ can be exalted in a 1st Century prison, then what in a time of lockdown? Take courage, for the expectation and hope from Scripture is that He can use your circumstances for His glory. In life or death, you can be used as a vessel for Christ.
