As you can imagine, πkea is a parody of Ikea.

About a month ago Comfort Woks launched custom covers for Ikea’s EKERKOG Sofa, NIKKALA Sofa and KLIPPAN Sofa.

Now I really want an Ikea sofa just to buy some of the lovely covers, I would even buy one for each season!

And for those who still need help with the KRAMFORS Leather Sofa, Comfort Works found the solution:

As promised, we have found a solution to the Kramfors Problem. We are now able to make covers for the leather Kramfors, without destroying the original upholstery. We have also made the covers non-slip by pre-attaching Velcro to the slipcovers.

I can’t wait to see all the new product and inspirational interiors from the catalog. And you? Are you as excited as I am?

Ikea lined up 30 red BILLY Bookcases on Sydney’s popular Bondi Beach to celebrate the 30th birthday of this signature furniture piece. They even filled the cases with beach reads for surfers, swimmers and sunbathers who could exchange them for one of their own books or buy them making a donation to the Australian Literacy & Numeracy Foundation.

Princeton Architectural Press recently sent me a copy of Obsessive Consumption. What did you buy today?

I have to confess that at first I didn’t understand the book, since it is full of colorful drawings, but after paying more attention I found it very funny and entertaining.

The book, actually the drawings in the book, represent a selection of three year purchases of artist Kate Bingaman-Burt using all kind of patterns, lines and typographies.

The reason I’m sharing the book with you is that I spotted some Ikea products. Really cute Ikea drawings
