AMERICAN MAVERICK ENCOURAGES OKLAHOMA RELIEF

Tragic. The devastation to life, property and community. The tornado that impacted near Oklahoma City on May 17th draws heartfelt support from America.

The F5 rated tornado on May 20 consumed much of the community of Moore, Oklahoma. The tornado packed winds in excess of 190 mph. What was most destructive was the path of the tornado. The tornado ripped a mile wide swathe continuing for 20 miles through the area just near Oklahoma City.

The images are reminiscent of other towns such as Joplin and Greenberg that sustained such devastation.

The residents of Moore, Oklahoma, are reaching for what is left. Not much is salvageable. Many residential areas have been flattened. Several public buildings including two elementary schools are rubble.

Think also about the impact on family. The death toll and related injuries will make the recovery even more of a struggle for many in this community.

Many will rely on family and faith to be their strength through this quagmire of loss.

What better way to help a fellow American. A family. A community. Than, to give them the resources to stand tall and strong to conquer their mind boggling challenges.

E.W. JACKSON WINS REPUBLICAN NOMINATION FOR LT. GOVERNOR

The Delegates of the Republican Party of Virginia have formally nominated Bishop E.W. Jackson for the office of Lieutenant Governor.

Pete Snyder conceded prior to releasing the results of the fourth round of balloting.

Jackson took the stage with his family thanking the Delegates for their support after a long day of balloting.

Finally, the Virginia Republican ticket took the stage to a roar of Delegate support.

Nominees Ken Cuccinelli for Governor, E.W. Jackson for LG and Mark Obenshain will begin a three day tour of the Commonwealth on Sunday.

OBENSHAIN WINS NOMINATION FOR VIRGINIA ATTORNEY GENERAL

Richmond, VA - It's official! Virginia State Senator wins the Republican nomination for Virginia's Attorney General.

Obenshain became the victor over Virginia State Delegate Rob Bell. Bell graciously conceded after the votes were evident that Obenshain would win. Bell took to the podium to withdraw his candidacy and proposed a vote by acclamation for Obenshain.

Obenshain followed on the stage after Bell's concession. Bell and Obenshain exchanged complimentary remarks. Bell promised ongoing support through the November 5 election for Obenshain's campaign.

REPUBLICAN DELEGATES NOMINATE KEN CUCCINELLI FOR GOVERNOR

Richmond, VA - Republican Delegates from throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia made it official for Ken Cuccinelli. Cuccinelli became the official Republican nominee for Governor at the Republican Party of Virginia Convention.

Over 8,000 Delegates were present to assure the nomination for Ken Cuccinelli. He was the sole candidate running for the nomination. The vote took place by acclamation since he was unopposed.

Following the nomination, Cuccinelli addressed the convention Delegates. He focused on protecting the Constitution and preserving liberty. He continued about his commitment to repeal Obamacare and reduce the role of government.

Cuccinelli will be campaigning against former DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe for the Governor's office. Election Day in the Commonwealth is November 5.

SNYDER, OBENSHAIN PREDICTED TO WIN RPV NOMINATION

"The American Maverick Predictor" emerges to make the early call for this week's highly anticipated Republican Party of Virginia Convention. Virginia is one of two states (New Jersey) facing a Gubernatorial election in 2013.

The TAM Predictor is a feature of The American Maverick with a solid track record for accuracy. In 2012, the TAM Predictor produced 92% accuracy calling the winner of political primaries in over 40 states.

Current, Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is the sole candidate seeking the Republican nomination for Governor. Cuccinelli will be running against former DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe for Governor.

Nine candidates are seeking the republican nomination for two offices, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General, during this weekend's convention in Richmond, Virginia.

Two candidates seek the nomination for Virginia's Attorney General. Including: State Delegate Rob Bell and State Senator Mark Obenshain.

The American Maverick Predictor selects business entrepreneur, Mr. Pete Snyder, to win the 2013 Republican nomination for Virginia's Lieutenant Governor.

From the start, Pete Snyder's campaign machine has been running strong throughout the Commonwealth. Pete has proven his message that connects with conservatives. His principled stance on limiting the role of government and protecting our Constitutional liberties ring true. Pete's positions will advance Virginia's economy, reduce spending, restore sound education, and pursue energy resources.

Honorable mention goes to Bishop E.W. Jackson. E.W.'s campaign drew strong grassroots from throughout Virginia. Much of his campaign was focused on solidifying his base and increasing his reach across rural Virginia. He produced the most donors, however the cash totals did not follow to support his overall reach.

Five of the seven LG candidates are from Northern Virginia. Exceptions are E.W. Jackson and State Senator Steve Martin. The Northern Virginia candidates will splinter the vote between them. Despite attempts to capture large delegation votes from high populous counties, most candidates from Northern Virginia were not able to adequately reel in rural votes from the rest of the Commonwealth. Pete Snyder was able to break through to run a true statewide campaign to connect with voters and gain Delegates.

The race for Virginia's Lieutenant Governor has been contentious over the past month. A lot of mud slinging by candidates like Corey Stewart. Stewart's admitted use of such tactics have reduced his like ability by RPV Convention Delegates. Stewart's tactics backfired by uniting the rest of the LG candidates to counter his attacks on fellow Republicans.

The American Maverick Predictor selects State Senator Mark Obenshain to win the 2013 Republican nomination for Virginia's Attorney General.

Senator Obenshain's message of protecting citizen liberties, enforcing rule of law and ability to communicate key, informed positions connected with Virginians. His work over the years to author and produce key legislation to address pivotal issues in the General Assembly was evident. Obenshain's ground work for the nomination throughout the Commonwealth will serve as a springboard to advance the Republican ticket in November.

Senator Obenshain's message and ability to connect with Delegates gave him the edge to surmount a very strong opponent, Delegate Rob Bell. BOSTON BOMBER BURIED IN VIRGINIA

Remains of Boston bombing terrorist Tamerlan Tsarnaev were buried in a Muslim cemetery near Richmond, Virginia, on the evening of Thursday, May 9th. Arrangements were made by a inter-faith group to bury the body at the Al-Barzakh Cemetary located in Doswell, Virginia. The cemetery is operated by a group called Islamic Funeral Services of Virginia.

TAMERLAN AT BOSTON MARATHON

Tamerlan and his brother, Dzhokar, exploded two bombs at the April 15 Boston marathon resulting in three deaths and over 260 injured.

Police engaged in a large scale manhunt for the bombers which resulted in the first shut down of a large American city - Boston.

On April 19, Tamerlan and Dzhokar Tsarnaev were attempting to flee the Boston area when they started firing at police in a escape attempt. Police shot Tamerlan. Then, in haste, Dzhokar drove over his brother's body with a vehicle to escape capture by police. Dzhokar was apprehended later by police in Watertown, Massachusetts.

The burial in Virginia follows over a week of protests in Worcester, Massachusetts. Citizens in Massachusetts were actively protesting plans by a funeral service to bury the body in the Boston area. As public scorn persisted cemetery after cemetery declined to allow the burial of the terror bomber.

In addition, burial locations in the home country of the Tsarnaev family, Kyrgyzstan, refused to allow the body to be transported and buried on their soil. Obviously, no one wanted as it is said 'in their backyard.'

Arrangements for the burial were aided by Tsarnaev's Uncle Ruslan Tsarni of Maryland. Tsarni had communicated with several inter-faith groups to try to find a burial location. Tsarni gave the following statement to the media,

"My tradition was that of a Muslim, and I have that tradition of burial, and people helped me with that,"

TAMERLAN GRAVE AT AL-BARZAKH CEMETERY

Backlash in Virginia seems brewing as the news of the burial hits. Local authorities reported to WTVR
News that they were not consulted about the burial. Concerns grow as the thought of someone retaliating for accepting the body in the Muslim cemetery. Questions arise over future threats of burial desecration as well. By the way, there are over 50 graves at the Doswell cemetery.

Virginians may feel this is quite a rub relating to terrorism in the Commonwealth. The terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, occurred in Arlington, Virginia, at the Pentagon resulting in 189 deaths. Arlington is located about 70 miles from the Tsarnaev burial site.

SENATOR TED CRUZ'S PERSPECTIVE ON BENGHAZI

United States Senator Ted Cruz of Texas provides his perspective of the events and key Obama administration officials surrounding the attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. He prosecutes those involved with the facts as known.

Here is Senator Cruz's complete statement as initially reported by the National Review...

"On September 11, 2012, terrorists attacked our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and murdered four Americans, including our ambassador. Eight months later, we have learned some of what happened , but many questions remain.

U.S. SENATOR TED CRUZ

This week the House of Representatives will hold a hearing on Benghazi, because we still don’t know all the facts about how we responded during the seven and a half hours of attacks, why we could do nothing to save the lives of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods, and what, if anything, we have done to deter future attacks against Americans by holding the responsible parties accountable.

What we do know leads to the inescapable impression that before, during, and after the Benghazi attacks, there was confusion and paralysis at the Department of Defense, the Department of State, and the White House.

Congress has learned that both Ambassador Stevens and his predecessor made repeated requests for additional security during the spring and summer of 2012. Most notably, Ambassador Stevens sent a cable to the State Department on August 15, 2012, expressly requesting additional security because the Benghazi consulate could not withstand a coordinated attack. The requests were denied, but Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, observed in congressional testimony that Defense could have provided all the needed security if State had requested it.

Strikingly, Chairman Dempsey admitted he “would call myself surprised” that former secretary of state Hillary Clinton testified that she did not know about that cable at the time of the attacks.

We also know that the State Department made no request for additional security from the Defense Department in Benghazi in the weeks leading up to September 11, 2012, despite knowing that the Red Cross and the United Kingdom had both withdrawn from the city because of the deteriorating security situation — not to mention the obvious significance of the anniversary of September 11, 2001. Worse, we have been told that no military assets were in a position to respond during the seven-plus hours of the attacks. But, as Chairman Dempsey testified, had additional support been requested before the attack, Defense would have provided it, and it could have saved lives.

The attack began at 3:42 p.m. EDT. We know that President Obama received a single 10- to 15- minute briefing on the Benghazi attack from Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and Chairman Dempsey at 5:00 p.m., during his regularly scheduled briefing. But we also know that the president had no subsequent discussions with either the secretary or the chairman for the duration of the attack.

Seven and a half hours after the attack commenced, at 11:15 pm EDT, sustained mortar fire killed Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods. Neither the secretary nor the chairman had any discussions with the president at that time, or throughout the remainder of the night. Moreover, the president had no contact with any member of the government of Libya for the duration of the attacks.

We know that during the duration of the attacks, neither Secretary Panetta nor Chairman Dempsey slept; both remained at the Pentagon throughout the night. But neither the secretary nor the chairman knows if the president slept while our people were under attack.

While the president was missing in action, there was confusion among the relevant cabinet officers as to who was in charge of coordinating the response from Washington. But we know that from the beginning to the end of the attacks, neither Secretary Panetta nor Chairman Dempsey had any conversation whatsoever with Secretary Clinton.

We also know that in the aftermath of the attacks, the Benghazi compound remained unsecured — and media reporters were able to access confidential documents — for 23 days because the State Department did not request Defense’s assistance in securing the site.

We know from their congressional testimony that according to the secretary of defense, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the director of national intelligence, because the attack on the annex employed rocket-propelled grenades and sustained mortar shelling, there was “no question” at the time that the events in Benghazi were terrorist attacks.

We know that on September 14 and 15, 2012, the State Department altered the administration’s talking points on Benghazi to eliminate references to “Islamic extremists” and “al Qa’ida,” and instead substituted language about how the incident was a “spontaneously inspired . . . violent protest.”

We know that at Dover Air Force Base on September 14, 2012, when the coffins of the four dead Americans came home, Secretary Clinton attributed the attack to “an awful videotape we had nothing to do with.”

And, in the aftermath of the attacks, we know of no effort to mount a counterattack that would deter similar acts of terrorism in the future. In the intervening months, we have seen additional attacks on our personnel abroad, including the attempted suicide bombing of our embassy in Ankara, Turkey, and the brutal attack on the natural-gas facility in Algeria in which two Texans, Victor Lovelady and Frederick Buttaccio, lost their lives.

What we know today has come only as a result of sustained inquiry by Congress. Officials have been exceedingly reluctant to share information and have insisted that all relevant questions were asked and answered in the State Department Accountability Review Board (ARB) report completed in December 2012.

“What difference at this point does it make?” Secretary Clinton responded in January to questions about the nature of the Benghazi attack. “Let’s put this behind us,” Secretary of State John Kerry complained last month. Last week, White House spokesman Jay Carney dismissed press inquiries about the attack by saying, “Benghazi was a long time ago.”

But many more questions remain. Here are a dozen:

- Why was the State Department unwilling to provide the requested level of security to Benghazi?

· Were there really no military assets available to provide relief during the seven hours of the attacks? If so, why not? During the attacks, were any military assets ordered to stand down?

· If the chairman of the Joint Chiefs thought there was “no question” this was a coordinated terrorist attack, why did Ambassador Susan Rice, Secretary Clinton, and President Obama all tell the American people that the cause was a “spontaneous demonstration” about an Internet video?

· Why did the State Department edit the intelligence talking points to delete the references to “Islamic extremists” and “al Qa’ida”?

· Why did the FBI release pictures of militants taken the day of the attack only eight months after the fact? Why not immediately, as proved so effective in the Boston bombing?

· Why have none of the survivors testified to Congress?

· Why is the administration apparently unaware of the whistle-blowers who have been attempting to tell their stories? Is it true that these career civil servants have been threatened with retaliation?

· Did President Obama sleep the night of September 11, 2012? Did Secretary Clinton?

· When was President Obama told about the murder of our ambassador? About the murder of all four Americans? What did he do in response?

· What role, if any, did the State Department’s own counterterrorism office play during the attacks and in their immediate aftermath?

· Why was Secretary Clinton not interviewed for the ARB report?

· And why, if all relevant questions were answered in the ARB report, has the State Department’s own inspector-general office opened a probe into the methods of that very report?

· It is time for some answers. Let us hope that the House hearing this week will finally shed some light, and that the inquiry continues until the facts are fully understood.

Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods deserve justice, and our brave men and women who continue to put their lives on the line every day in similar, dangerous situations deserve to know we are doing everything possible not only to protect them in the event of a terrorist attack, but also to deter these attacks from happening again. Better late than never."

BENGHAZI HEARINGS TODAY ON CAPITOL HILL

Today at the U.S. Capitol, full hearings will take place with key State Department and officials who have direct knowledge of the circumstances of the attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012.

Benghazi whistleblowers set to give testimony include: Eric Nordstrom, former regional security officer in Libya; Greg Hicks, former deputy chief of mission in Libya; and Mark Thompson, acting deputy assistant Secretary of State for counterterrorism.

Reports from Fox News, Washington Free Beacon and other sources indicate the testimony could be detrimental to the White House, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other administration officials. These sources had advance notice of what the witnesses are planning to divulge during the hearing.

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton states that this hearing could be a 'hinge point' that could bring down the administration. Bolton stated,

"The three witnesses who have been identified are not bystanders. “These are not people who are going to report on hearsay of what somebody in Tripoli told somebody that they heard from. These are people who are directly involved in different capacities before, during and after the attack."

72 MILLION FIREARM BACKGROUND CHECKS SINCE OBAMA

Recent data released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation reveals hard numbers behind Americans demand to own firearms. Especially during the Obama administration.

The FBI's NICS data discloses 72,005,482 background checks have been conducted nationally during Obama's reign. The FBI states the number of background checks do not necessarily relate to a single firearm purchase. This is due to some state laws allowing one check on the buyer who could be purchasing more than one firearm. For instance, one buyer may one purchase a pistol. However, another may purchase a pistol, rifle and/or shotgun at the same time. In addition, not everyone passes a background check and is declined from purchasing a firearm.

The data indicates significant, sustained usage of the NICS background system throughout Barack Obama's presidency. In 2009, a total of 12,819,939 were completed after Obama's first Inauguration. The FBI conducted 14,409,616 in 2010, 16,454,951 in 2011, and 19,592,303 in 2012. So far in 2013, 8,728,673 background checks have been fulfilled. Bringing the grand total to 72,005,482.

Barack Obama has been President for 1,551. Hence, America is averaging about 46,455 background checks per day.

The gun industry expanded dramatically since Obama took office. Many manufacturers like Beretta, Colt and Glock are producing firearms at record levels. Many companies have had back orders for some firearms for six months or greater. The demand for firearms has triggered independent firearm manufacturers to fill the need for America to keep and bear arms.

The demand for firearms has fired up the need for ammunition as well. Most gun owners will tell you it is

quite hard to find firearm stores with plenty of ammo. Many stores have such a limited supply they will limit how many boxes of popular caliber ammo a person can purchase each day. Rounds such as 9mm, .45 caliber, .223 caliber and others are the most in demand. This applies to pistols and rifle ammunition too.

As Barack Obama and the progressive left focus on gun control, Americans continue to seize upon the rhetoric to assure their right to bear arms. Barack Obama, VP Joe Biden and Attorney General Eric holder have stoked the movement to impede Second Amendment rights. Which has fueled the citizens response to purchase firearms of their choice before federal government intervention.

FREEDOM TOWER HITS NEW HEIGHTS

Construction crews at the site where the World Trade Center once stood put the last two sections of a spire on top of the building known as One World Trade Center on Thursday, May 2nd.

This makes the structure the tallest building in the western hemisphere, and it comes about 11.5 years after the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

The spire measures 408 feet and weighs almost 6 tons. The spire will be used for television broadcasting.

One World Trade Center stands a symbolic 1,776-feet-tall, a tribute to the year the United States declared its independence.

The spire was placed upon the Freedom Tower on the two-year anniversary of the day Navy Seals killed terror mastermind Osama bin Laden at his hideaway in Pakistan.

THE IRON LADY REMEMBERED - PASSING OF A CONSERVATIVE ICON

As we learn of the passing of Margaret Thatcher, we pause to admire her candor, her belief in conservatism and her leadership during a contentious era of super powers.

Margaret Thatcher served as the British Prime Minister for eleven years, 1979-1990. She was the first lady Prime Minister for the United Kingdom. She won three consecutive General Elections. Quite the accomplishment during the Cold War era. She turned the United Kingdom's economy from decline to a modern, free market success.

Thatcher's leadership vaulted her to influence global policy. She re-established the United Kingdom's role in foreign affairs. She strengthened the position of NATO countries. Thatcher reached out to create new security and trade relations throughout the world.

Her best and closest ally was President Ronald Reagan. Conservatives reminisce the days of President Ronald Reagan and British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Their combined efforts advanced the principles of conservatism, free markets and brought down the Soviet empire.

GREENTECH: MCAULIFFE'S ACHILLES HEEL

Terry McAuliffe likes a good deal. As long as it greases his political aspirations or pads his back pocket. When the soft underbelly of GreenTech was exposed, McAuliffe showed his true colors severing his ties to a string of corporate failures for his political expediency.

Let's talk GreenTech. GreenTech is a company set-up to build "environmentally sound" vehicles. GreenTech Chairman Terry McAuliffe stated his company would create 2,000 new jobs producing upwards of 10,000 electric cars by 2013. To date, only about 50 jobs were produced and the company has not manufactured cars even close to McAuliffe's big numbers.

Where did GreenTech Chairman Terry McAuliffe build his production plant? Mississippi. What about Virginia? McAuliffe jointly schmoozed Virginia and Mississippi to strike a deal for GreenTech. However, McAuliffe claimed Virginia was not interested. Politifact Virginia, which leans to the left, rated his claim about Virginia as FALSE. Not very good news for McAuliffe now running for Governor in Virginia.

It's Terry McAuliffe's "Clinton connection" that drove his deal to Mississippi. McAulliffe slicked a side deal to use the EB-5 immigration visa program to cut him a check to start GreenTech in Mississippi. The EB-5 visa has a incentive package for businesses that pays out $500,000 to business developers.

McAuliffe reaped the windfall by using his strong connection with Bill and Hillary Clinton. Notable "Clintonites" that advanced the EB-5 payoff includes: Gulf Coast Funds Management CEO Anthony Rodham (Hillary Rodham Clinton's brother), Clinton IRS Commissioner Margaret Richardson, and long-time Democrat and Clinton sympathizer, ex-Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco.

The falsehoods, contortions and salesmanship have been in high gear for Democrat McAuliffe.

McAuliffe has actively touted his "success" at GreenTech in "creating thousands of jobs". That's what his campaign message has been. Now, since the wheels have come off of the truth about his failure to produce jobs or cars, McAuliffe abruptly announces he left GreenTech back in December of 2012.

Questions are circling like vultures on pecking apart McAuliffe's fake narrative as a qualified candidate for Virginia. Here's a couple of good ones Terry "Clinton" McAuliffe needs to answer:

Is your management of GreenTech reflective of how you would lead the Commonwealth of Virginia?
On January 9, 2013, you spoke at a event where you were introduced as Chairman of GreenTech. Why did you continue to use your title as Chairman when you "resigned" in December?
In a Democrat debate in May of 2009, you stated, "I have created great paying jobs with benefits. I believe in profit-sharing. So, I'll let my record stand there. I have created thousands of jobs. People know that." Do you still stand by your record?

This is why McAuliffe's "Green Flop" can be considered his Achilles heel. GreenTech was his way of racking up some clout as a business man and job creator. Paving the way for a future political run. McAuliffe would use the GreenTech story to serve as his basis to be a legitimate candidate for Virginia Governor. Well, GreenTech flopped and so did his campaign message.

The problem for McAuliffe is he does not have the background to be Governor. McAuliffe is a money grubber and a Clinton crony. His background is greasing back room deals that poured in the cash to the DNC and to elect Bill Clinton as President. Terry is gifted at glad handing and teasing folks into political favor. He's much more qualified to work as a campaign bundler for Hillary Clinton.

For sure, McAuliffe's campaign bid for Virginia Governor needs a serious overhaul.

DEMOCRAT FLUB HIGHLIGHTS IGNORANCE ON GUN USAGE

Gun owners take the time to know how the mechanics of firearms and gun safety. However, a recent statement by a Democrat from Denver underscores how many elected officials are uninformed about the operation and use of firearms.

Representative Diana DeGette (D-Colorado) attended a gun control forum hosted by the Denver Post. A question posed to her asked about why she opposed high capacity magazines. Her response was quite wrong as she was of the mindset that a magazine of bullets would be disposed after each use. Her premise was that in several years all of the high capacity magazines would be 'used up' and no longer a 'threat' for use. Obviously a firearms magazine can be reloaded after each use.

Here's Representative DeGette's complete statement without grammar corrections,

"These are ammunition, they're bullets, so the people who have those now, they're going to shoot them, so if you ban them in the future, the number of these high-capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the bullets will have been shot and there won't be any more available."

Degette's staff has been scrambling ever since to cover her lack of knowledge about magazines and firearms. By the way, Degette serves as the lead sponsor of the high-capacity magazine ban legislation in Congress.

For months since the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, many elected officials from the White House to Congress to the state/local level, have made errant comments that were covered by the mainstream media. This has occurred predominantly with Democrats. Hearings on Capitol Hill have had Congressmen and Senators wrongly describing firearms use. From explaining the difference between a magazine and a clip to promoting a shotgun as safer than a handgun (Biden), on and on, the Dems keep laying it on thick.

Whether they were ignorant about gun operation/terminology or deliberately deceiving the public, is another edgy point. Quite the point. If they are ignorant, what business do they have pushing legislation to infringe upon the Second Amendment? A elected official should defer to another who is well versed in firearms before attempting to restrict citizen access.

Many would agree this is a battle long sought by the Democrats and the Progressive left. Like Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel said, "Never let a crisis go to waste." And ever since Columbine and now Newtown, they are going in for the kill to restrict gun rights.

Under cover of the mainstream media, the left is hawking gun rights. MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC and others all key in on practically any tragedy involving a shooter. You'll see live on-site reporting and continual coverage for days. However, when news breaks about a civilian who defended their family or neighbor from a assailant using a firearm, the airwaves are silent.

Now, more than ever Americans supporting gun rights need to be vigilant and vocal about protecting the Second Amendment. Elected officials must be held accountable. Establishing continual contact with your federal, state and local officials is key. Conservatives and gun owners alike are waking up to the new expectation to be engaged as a citizen throughout the year and not just Election Day.

OUTRAGE! CHICAGO APPROVES TOPPLING REAGAN'S CHILDHOOD HOME

True to the progressive's legacy, they are erasing America's history. The Chicago Landmark Commission

removed the childhood home of President Ronald Reagan from their protected property list. This move authorizes the University of Chicago to destroy the building in order to erect student housing.

Those moved by Ronald Reagan including conservatives bemoaned the bad news.

As reported by Gateway Pundit, there is significant historical value in the property. Reagan was the first President to live in Chicago. Also, he's the only President to be born and raised in the windy city. The Reagan family lived in one of six apartments at the Chicago location for several years circa 1915.

Destruction of the three story flat has not started.
