Between the Korra trailer and now what this post is about, I’m foaming from the mouth 24/7.  Today, Nick updated their website with a Korra section and some new information in the form of character biographies.  Reading through them, you get some very interesting tidbits such as Lin Bei Fong not wanting the Avatar in “her city” to the fact that Bolin is actually quite the ladies man.  Don’t believe me?  Click down below to see for yourself! Legend of Korra Character Biographies

This is all very exciting and has me squeeing liking any other normal fangirl.  Based on all of this and the oopsie Nick made with saying “Spring” on their forum, I would say Legend of Korra is much closer than we all think.  Of course, that’s my own speculation so don’t take that as fact.  Anyway, sound off with your own fangirl squeals in a comment below or on our forums!

That’s right folks! It was released not to long ago through Korra Nation, Legend of Korra’s online fan club that is releasing new Legend of Korra stuff from time to time. Only a while ago they released a new trailer seen here: Legend of Korra Trailer

Hey guys, it’s Battery again with some interesting news, though this time it’s not leaks!

Many people yesterday gathered on Reddit to ask a verified Nickelodeon Executive about anything they wanted. Questions ranged from Nick and Cartoon Network competition, Spongebob Squarepants complaints, Invader Zim relaunch theories, and Legend of Korra!

Multiple times the executive was asked about a LOK release date, and all he could reply with was “soon.” However, he did verify that Nickelodeon IS talking about it behind their walls of mystery, and they are trying to come up with a grand plan of action. This was something revealed on Nickelodeon’s Twitter account a few days ago, along with the idea of them needing a press release for the news, but it was nice to hear it from someone directly on the inside.

On a more sad note, he also revealed that the title of the show is The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra, NOT Avatar: Legend of Korra. He said:

“What you saw on the leak was international versioning.”

This shows that it’s a possibility that it’ll be Avatar: Legend of Korra outside of the USA, but not inside because of copyright issues with James Cameron’s Avatar. Now, for those who are always waiting for the ever elusive result of Ursa, Zuko’s mother, listen up. Legend of Korra might give us some answers!

Lastly, he was asked a few times about his feelings on the leaks that have been going on. He generally gave the same answer to everyone. A few of those things were:

“I’m not a fan. I mean I know it has been forever since the last series and people are excited but it is still wrong. It screws a lot of people out of their hard work and is damaging in many ways.”
and
“People who steal stuff and go against the wishes of the creators by posting stuff are scum. The world does not belong to you (one) just because you think it does and it hurts people even if you don’t think it does. How we track people and deal with them I probably shouldn’t say…other than ‘hopefully harshly’.”

As such, the leaker has suddenly decided that he is going to stop giving leaks, so we’ll have to tide ourselves over till Legend of Korra arrives.

While we still don’t have a release date aside from sometime this year, there’s still some nice (Korrasexual) things that have been popping up on the internet. One of these things just happens to be an interview with the Track Team about Korra and ATLA as well. In the interview, they basically say the show is much more mature and in-depth than it’s predecessor.  Exciting stuff that makes any Avatard want the release date to be announced sooner.  You can read more about it below.

Also, The Promise – Part 1 (I’m fangirling at Aang taking over that page) comes out tomorrow in comic book shops! So get on Google and Googlemaps yourself to Avatar bliss with the graphic novel that takes place right after the season three finale (and I mean right after).  If you saw the leaks of the comic, it’s still worth it to own. Trust me. ;)

Hey guys, so I got a nice tidbit of Korra news for all of you today.  Unfortunately, it’s not about the release date.  However, it’s really the next best thing.  So everyone who has been keeping up with this show forever knows that Legend of Korra originally was going to be a mini-series with just 12 episodes.  Then, Nick decided to order more thus making the total of episodes due to come out at a whopping 26.  Now, a new development has happened (again through Twitter):

So, it seems like there might still be more Korra on the way – and the show hasn’t even come out yet!  Does this mean Legend of Korra might end up a 61 episode series like ATLA?  Whatever the case, the mere possibility is enough to excite me!
