Nowaday, most of people in this earth really concern on how they suppose to perform in the public, especially for people work in customer relation field, marketing, etc. To perform well is a must for those men, that is the most important part that can create good first impression which is very important when you are trying to offer or purpose a business deal. To perform very well will cost big sum of money because price of all stuff that is needed to perform well is very expensive, such as branded suit, branded jacket, branded watches, branded jewelery, branded handbags, etc.

For those who has settled with their job and financial won`t have any problem to buy all that stuff , but some people that is about to start with their business or job will take this as big problem and eventhough this is a problem they still need to have those stuff at least a nice Cartier/Rolex watch in their wrist for men and a beautiful Tifany`s jewelery with an elegant Louis Vutton handbag for women. What do they have to do? Buy a cheap one? Is there any?

First thing that people will do right now if they need to know about something is go straightly to their PC/notebook and browsing through search engine. So we will do the same to find a cheap Rolex watches, Tifanny`s jewelery and Louis Vutton handbags.

The result is quite impressive, we`ll find that there is cheap branded watch which is the replica of Rolex watches and the price is absolutely cheaper than genuine watch, and also we`ll find cheap Tifanny`s jewelery which is jewelry replicas inspired by Tiffany. We`ll also discover designer knockoff handbag that also given cheap handbag price. This is really a problem solver for you who has limited amount of money that need to have a branded stuff to increase their perfomance to impress business client when trying to purpose a business deal.

When we are presenting business proposal with a nice rolex on their wrist, Tiffany jewelry and Louis Vutton handbag will at least open the gate to the next step for our business deal.

BROOKLYN DECKER, the swimwear model, was hovering a foot over the mat, like Tom Cruise in “Mission Impossible.” With her feet resting in a rope hanging from the ceiling and her hands planted wide on the mat, she was attempting an aerial variation of a push-up, part of an exercise regimen called Jukari, inspired by Cirque du Soleil moves.

It was an awkward move, but Ms. Decker, who is familiar to readers of Sports Illustrated and the Victoria’s Secret catalog, managed it with grace. Her arms outstretched and chin thrust out, she looked like a contemporary update of a Spanish galleon’s figurehead.

Next to her at the Equinox fitness club on Broadway and 19th Street — and attempting the same move — was Joe Zee, the creative director of Elle. He swung from the rope with the grace of an anchor.

“She did it better than you,” the instructor, Kristin Kenney, informed him.

Mr. Zee, still huffing, smiled wryly. “When you’re younger, taller and thinner, everything looks better,” he said.

Maybe, but that’s not the point of Elle’s new “Make Better” series of fitness and beauty DVD’s starring Ms. Decker, in which she is supposed to represent both an ideal and an everywoman, Mr. Zee said (though, seeing her in a miniskirt after the class, the latter seemed like a stretch). He wants the series to make as big a splash as the exercise videos by Cindy Crawford in the ’90s, and maybe help make Ms. Decker — who is also known for her athletic all-American look — another Cindy.

That would be O.K. with Ms. Decker, 22, who has never lacked ambition. “When I was a kid, I remember telling my mom I was going to be the first woman president, an actor, then a veterinarian on the weekends,” she said after class, seated in a banquette with Mr. Zee at Tanuki Tavern in the meatpacking district. But she put off college when the big modeling jobs rolled in. “I somehow decided to be an uneducated model instead,” she said with a laugh.

With her chiseled jaw and toned physique, there was no question that Ms. Decker had the right look for modeling, but her unusual name didn’t hurt. Her parents in Charlotte, N.C., stumbled across it years before David and Victoria Beckham made it trendy.

“My mom’s best friend had a horse named Brooke, and she loved the name,” she explained. “As a joke, my dad suggested Brooklyn and she fell in love with it. Neither of them had even been to New York.”

Nibbling at a bowl of baby bok choy, the two discussed how their names had functioned as effective branding. Mr. Zee recalled getting job interviews because his name was unusual. “I hated my name when I was a child, I’ll be honest,” he said. “I was always ‘Joe Zee and the Pussycats.’ ”

It wasn’t Ms. Decker’s name, however, that first drew the attention of Andy Roddick, the tennis player. He called her for a date after spotting her online as a host of a Sports Illustrated N.F.L. preview show.

Seven months after marrying Mr. Roddick, she still has not tackled tennis. When your husband serves 155 miles an hour, she said, it raises concern.

“That,” she said, gesturing toward her face, “puts my job at risk.”

After Thursday’s Glambert explosion on the American Music Awards rehearsal stage — you can read my interviews with the Idol star here — Friday’s run-throughs were going to have a lot of catching up to do. Turned out to be just your average day of superstars showing up to soundcheck their massive hits: Carrie Underwood kicked off the morning with a hot-pants-free, chair-intensive take on “Cowboy Casanova,” followed by Janet Jackson in a closed rehearsal that observers called pretty damn awesome — look for Ms. If-You’re-Nasty to open the show with one new song and a medley of old favorites. (When I asked if “Miss You Much” would be included in said medley, reps for the show didn’t say yes… but they didn’t say no. OMG OMG OMG.)

Once the doors were reopened to the sea of humanity killing time on the lobby steps during Jackson’s off-limits time period, staffers and guests streamed into the auditorium, filling seats in rows marked by placards bearing the names of expected guests: Kings of Leon. Black Eyed Peas. Jason Aldean. Demi Lovato. Perez Hilton. This somewhat odd cross-section of cardboard celebrity humanity next found themselves treated to Mary J. Blige — in white turtleneck, knee-high white boots, dark sunglasses, and sharp peroxide bouffant — working twice through “I Am,” the first single off her upcoming Stronger With Each Tear. For Sunday’s awards show, L.A.’s Nokia Theater has been transformed from its usual gutted-neon-cineplex-lookin’ self into a slightly more glowy gutted cineplex, but many of the sound issues that have plagued recent events like the Prince trifecta seem to have been largely resolved, or at least corrected for by cranking the rehearsal volume as loud as it can physically go without shattering iPhone screens. While Blige by no means let her massive instrument rip (more or less marking her way through the start of the song both times), great potential for another powerhouse awards show performance by the No-Drama Queen exists.

Less convincing was the run-through from Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, and French newbie SoShy — but this was probably due to the absence of Timbaland himself, whose flight was delayed. Instead, we watched a stand-in mime rap moves while SoShy and Furtado half-sung their parts of “Morning After Dark,” from the upcoming Shock Value 2. (Bonus points to Tim’s DJ Freestyle, who did not hold back on his practice shout-outs to song or LP.) On air, the biggest entertainment value in this performance will likely come courtesy of its accompanying dance number: Spinning off the song’s “Thriller” sample and convenient vampire themes (oh, if only New Moon’s opening could kill that trend for a while), the choreography is creepy and angular, reminiscent of the original Michael Jackson video moves if they were performed by Chinese acrobats.

After all that smoke and clatter, there was simple solace to be found in the straightforward pop country of Keith Urban — the final media-available rehearsal of the day, since Rihanna opted to close the doors on whatever surely-post-apocalyptic spectacle she has in store. Urban is again performing “Kiss A Girl,” in the exact same spot where he and Kris Allen traded verses on the Idol finale back in May, and during the first full-voiced run-through, the Aussie — whose wife, Nicole Kidman, has been added to the list of AMA presenters, thus upping the cardboard-seat-placard star wattage by a large sum — nearly barked with cheerful energy. His trademark guitar solos rang clear and true on a set adorned only by his three-piece band. His smile lit up the room.
Later today, we’ll have details on Saturday’s rehearsals from Lady Gaga (who continues to be caught in a bad romance) and Shakira. Do stop back by! And in the meantime, send in your questions for all the performers, just in case we get the chance to ask them backstage tomorrow night.

A sliver of time for other teams is an epoch for the Yankees, who define themselves by championships. For eight seasons, they led the majors in victories, payroll and drama. They built a ballpark, created a network and expanded their brand around the globe. But they did not win the World Series.
Now they have done it. There is a 27th jewel in the Yankees’ crown and a peaceful, easy feeling across their empire. The Yankees captured their first title since 2000, humbling the defending champion Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday night, 7-3, in Game 6 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium.

Hideki Matsui homered and drove in six runs to tie a World Series record, and Andy Pettitte ground through five and two-thirds innings for his second victory in five days. Mariano Rivera collected the final five outs, retiring Shane Victorino on a groundout to end it.

It was the eighth anniversary of Rivera’s lowest moment, when he blew Game 7 of the 2001 World Series in Arizona. The Yankees lost the World Series again two years later, to Florida, and they did not return until this season, fortifying their roster with free agents around the core of Rivera, Pettitte, Derek Jeter and Jorge Posada.

Pettitte became the second pitcher to win all three clinching games of a postseason. The other was Boston’s Derek Lowe in 2004, when the Yankees lost a three-games-to-none lead to the Red Sox in the American League Championship Series, fumbling away a pennant and plunging into a postseason funk.

Pettitte was gone that autumn, part of a three-year sojourn to his Houston hometown. Otherwise, Pettitte, Rivera, Jeter and Posada have been Yankees since 1995, through dynasty and drought and back to the top. They have each earned five championship rings, one more than Babe Ruth did with the Yankees.

Working on three days’ rest, Pettitte, 37, looked ragged at times with five walks and three strikeouts. But he held up better than the Phillies’ Pedro Martinez, 38, his old Boston adversary, who lasted just four innings.

The two had faced each other six times in the regular season, splitting the decisions, and on Tuesday, Martinez billed the matchup as “two old goats out there doing the best they can and having fun with it.” Only once before had starters at least 37 met in the World Series.

Predictably, Pettitte and Martinez showed guile over power. There were 33 pitches before one registered 90 miles an hour.

The Yankees managed just three hits off Martinez, who issued two walks, both becoming runs. The first was to Alex Rodriguez, on four pitches, leading off the second inning. It stopped Martinez’s momentum after a 1-2-3 first.

Matsui fell behind, 0-2, but drew the count full while flicking two fouls. Martinez also threw to first twice. At worst, Matsui was driving up Martinez’s pitch count, following the plan against a brilliant but fragile pitcher. But he did much more than that.

In Game 2, Matsui broke a 1-1 tie when he pulled a Martinez curveball over the right-field wall in the sixth. This time, he took a fastball that tailed over the middle and slammed it inside the right-field foul pole, just above a billboard for Komatsu, the Japanese construction-equipment company.

Matsui, of course, has done more than raise the Yankees’ profile in Japan. He has been steady and efficient for seven seasons. His ravaged knees have made him a full-time designated hitter and called into doubt his future with the team. But if this was his last game as a Yankee, he made it his best.

Matsui knew glory with the Yomiuri Giants, winning three Japan Series and capturing the Most Valuable Player award against the Daiei Hawks in 2000, when he hit .381 with three homers and eight runs batted in. He has been an elite postseason player for the Yankees, too, and never more than Wednesday.

With one out and the bases loaded in the third, Martinez struck out Rodriguez on a pitch well off the outside corner. The Phillies had a left-hander, J. A. Happ, warming up, but Manager Charlie Manuel stuck with Martinez. Like Grady Little before him, Manuel paid for his faith.

Again, Martinez got ahead of Matsui, 0-2. Catcher Carlos Ruiz bounced from his crouch for a target up and away. Martinez hit the spot, but Matsui hit the pitch, lining it into left field for two runs.

It swelled the Yankees’ lead to 4-1, and it gave Matsui nine hits in 19 postseason at-bats against Martinez. He also smacked a double off him in the eighth inning of Game 7 of the 2003 American League Championship Series, when Little, the Boston manager, refused to call for a reliever.

Martinez lasted four more batters this time, retiring them all. Chad Durbin took over in the fifth, and Jeter, who finished 11 for 27 (.407), greeted him with a double. Mark Teixeira scored Jeter with a single, and after a walk, Happ came in.

Matsui took four pitches from Happ, a rookie, three for balls. Then he ripped a double to deep right, scoring two runs to make it 7-1 and earning a share of a World Series record.

Only one other player has driven in six runs in a World Series game: the Yankees’ Bobby Richardson, in 1960. Richardson was the most valuable player that October, even though the Yankees lost to Pittsburgh. Matsui earned the M.V.P. award this World Series by hitting .615 (8 for 13) with three homers and eight R.B.I.

Chase Utley, the Phillies’ second baseman, tied another Yankee in this World Series with five home runs, matching Reggie Jackson’s record haul in 1977. But Utley was hardly a factor in Game 6, grounding into a double play in the first inning, and striking out twice.

Utley was 0 for 5 in the World Series off Pettitte, and so was Ryan Howard until he came to bat after Utley’s one-out walk in the sixth. Howard, who finished the series 4 for 23 with a record 13 strikeouts, muscled a homer into the first row of seats in left-center.

That made it 7-3, and Manager Joe Girardi came to the mound for a quick talk with Pettitte, his old teammate. He let Pettitte stay, to the fans’ delight, but after a strikeout and a double, Pettitte’s night was over.

The fans had sensed the end all through the sixth, chanting Pettitte’s first and last name, and they erupted when he jogged off the mound. Pettitte slowed near the dugout steps, lifting his cap and shaking it.

Joba Chamberlain and Damaso Marte took it from there. They brought the lead to Rivera, who brought a championship back to the Bronx, where the Yankees believe it belongs.

Jim Wilson/The New York Times PLAYING Mark Pincus, founder of Zynga, says his game company is profitable.

“It is clear this obsession with FarmVille is an issue, especially since it is taking away time from studying and schoolwork,” Danielle Susi wrote this month in The Quad News, a student newspaper at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn.

Adults, too, are blaming their problems on FarmVille, an online game in which people must tend their virtual farms carefully. On blogs like FarmVille Freak (slogan: “I can’t stop watching my crops!”) and others, people share tips on fertilizer and complain about, for example, a spouse’s addiction. An anonymous blogger who said she was pregnant wrote: “I was starving … and he told me I’d have to wait a few more minutes so he could HARVEST HIS RASPBERRIES! I waited … in the car and waited for his stupid raspberries to be harvested.”

That there are actual farmers who spend less time on their crops is beside the point. FarmVille has quickly become the most popular application in the history of Facebook. More than 62 million people have signed up to play the game since it made its debut in June, with 22 million logging on at least once a day, according to Zynga, the company that brought FarmVille into the world.

Crazes on Facebook seem to come in waves — remember sheep-throwing, Vampire Wars and lists of “25 Random Things About Me?” — but devotion to FarmVille has moved beyond the social network. Players gather online to share homemade spreadsheets showing which crops will provide the greatest return on investment. YouTube is rife with musical odes to the game, including versions of its theme song. There is a “Farmville Art” movement, in which people arrange crops to resemble the Mona Lisa or Mr. Peanut. And many a promising dinner date has been cut short to harvest squash.

“I can’t hang out with any of my friends without talk of apple fields and rice paddies,” said Taylor Lee Sivils, a student at the University of California, Riverside, in an e-mail message. “I have to wait for my friends’ soybeans to grow, because we can’t chill until they’ve been harvested. All I want is to be able to go back to talking about anything tangible, but FarmVille overcomes.”

The game starts off simply: You are given land and seeds that can be planted, harvested and sold for online coins. As you accrue currency, you can buy things, from basics like rice and pumpkin seeds to the truly superfluous, like elephants and hot-air balloons. Impatient players can use credit cards or a PayPal account to buy more money, although purists tend to frown on the practice.

But like The Sims and Tamagotchi pets, FarmVille soon becomes less of a game than a Sisyphean baby-sitting assignment. Crops must be harvested in a timely fashion, cows must be milked, and social obligations — like exchanging gifts and fertilizing your neighbor’s pumpkins — must be met.

The game seems to have mesmerized people from all walks of life. Every night for the last two weeks, Jil Wrinkle, a 40-year-old medical transcriber in the Philippines, has set his alarm for 1:30 a.m., when he will wake up, roll over and harvest his blueberries.

“I keep my laptop next to my bed,” he explained by phone. “The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is harvest, then I harvest again at 10 in the morning, then again in midafternoon, then in the evening, and then again right before going to bed.”

Robert Thompson, a professor of popular culture at Syracuse University, said he had seen the craze firsthand among his students.

“Just like Guitar Hero lets you feel a little like being a rock star — you get to pose and dance a little while you’re doing it — with FarmVille there is a real sense that you’re actually doing something that has a cause and effect,” he said. “The method of dragging food out of the ground and getting something for it is really satisfying.”

FarmVille isn’t the only popular farm-theme game on Facebook. MyFarm and FarmTown, which are made by different companies, also have huge followings. Some academics have gone so far as to suggest that their collective popularity points to a widespread yearning for the pastoral life.

“The whole concept of ‘I’m sick of this modern, urban lifestyle, I wish I could just grow plants and vegetables and watch them grow,’ there is something very therapeutic about that,” said Philip Tan, director of the Singapore-M.I.T. Gambit Game Lab, a joint venture between the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the government of Singapore to develop digital games.

Of course, real-life farming is quite a bit messier and more dangerous than FarmVille (perhaps just one reason that FarmVille players outnumber actual farmers in the United States by more than 60 to 1). Yet some of the game’s biggest fans are farmers.

“I was having all these deaths on the farm and hurting myself on a daily basis doing real farming,” said Donna Schoonover, of Schoonover Farm in Skagit County, Wash., who raises sheep, goats and Satin Angora rabbits (real ones!). “This was a way to remind myself of the mythology of farming, and why I started farming in the first place.”

Zynga, which is based in San Francisco, specializes in games that are easy to learn but hard to walk away from. It also makes Mafia Wars (25 million players) and Café World (24 million), the second and third most popular games on Facebook, respectively.

Mark Pincus, the founder and chief executive, said that Zynga earns money from advertising, sponsorships and players who buy in-game cash. Zynga has been profitable since 2007, he said.

“It’s really the same formula that makes Facebook successful,” Mr. Pincus said, “the ability to connect with your friends, to express yourself, and to invest in the game.”

FarmVille takes advantage of Facebook by allowing — nay, nagging — players to become “neighbors” with their friends, even those who have not joined the game. Players can earn points by helping with their neighbors’ work. They can also irritate friends who don’t want to play FarmVille with endless notifications and invitations to join, which has led to a vocal backlash.

Cropping up alongside fan blogs like Farmville Freak, which after just one month is getting 25,000 unique visitors a day, are Facebook groups for people who are tired of listening to their friends talk about their eggplants. On “I Hate FarmVille,” the largest of the anti-Farmville affinity groups on Facebook (it has more than 17,000 members), one person commented, “No, I will not give you a tree! No, I will not be your neighbor!”

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson issued his second apology in 12 months Tuesday and was told to stay away from the team while the NFL and the Chiefs complete their investigation into his use of a gay slur.

As Johnson was releasing his apology, a national gay rights advocacy organization called on the league and the team to take disciplinary action against the two-time Pro Bowler.

The latest chapter in Johnson’s stormy career began Sunday night when he questioned coach Todd Haley’s football credentials on his Twitter account.

He used the slur during an exchange with one of his Twitter followers. A day later, he used it again as he brushed off reporters and told them he would not comment, according to the Kansas City Star, which recorded the comment.

Haley refused to address the matter Tuesday, saying it was still being investigated.

“I’m just not going to comment any further because there is some stuff going on,” Haley said.

Johnson, who turns 30 next month, signed a five-year contract extension in 2007 that included $19 million guaranteed and could be worth up to $45 million. The team could be checking to see whether Johnson violated contract provisions that would allow the Chiefs to cut him with reduced financial obligation.

Last spring, an arbitrator ruled that the Chiefs could release the running back and not owe him $3.5 million in guaranteed money because he had violated contract conditions by pleading guilty to disturbing the peace in another incident.

The issue became moot when the team elected not to cut him and until he began tweeting on Sunday night, the often-volatile Johnson had been on good behavior.

The Chiefs said they have told Johnson he would not be allowed to practice with the team or participate in team activities until the matter was resolved, though he has not been suspended. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the league would have no comment pending the investigation.

Johnson, who needs only 75 yards rushing to become the Chiefs’ all-time leader, apologized to Haley, the team, fans and the league “for the words I used.”

“I regret my actions. The words were used by me in frustration, and they were not appropriate,” he said through a spokesman. “I did not intend to offend anyone, but that is no excuse for what I said.”

The apology sounded similar to one he made almost exactly a year ago after one woman accused him of throwing a drink on her and another said he had pushed her. The incidents happened separately in Kansas City nightclubs and led to his being sentenced to two years’ probation after pleading guilty to two counts of disturbing the peace.

“I’m going to work to that point to get my life back on track and know that I and I alone put myself in these critical situations and environments to where things don’t come out favorably to me,” he said on Oct. 22, 2008.

At the time, Johnson was benched for three games by then-coach Herm Edwards and suspended for a game by commissioner Roger Goodell.

On Tuesday, Johnson apologized to “all the kids who view athletes as role models. I was not a good role model yesterday and hopefully I can become a better role model. We all make mistakes, and the challenge is to learn from them.

“I will do my best to learn from this one as I move toward becoming a better person, teammate, and member of the Kansas City Chiefs team and community.”

Johnson’s agent said all his client could do now was wait.

“It’s up to the NFL to investigate it and see what they want to do, and we will respond accordingly,” Peter Schaffer told The Associated Press. “We’ve apologized. Larry’s trying to move forward. It is what it is right now.”

Jarrett Barrios, president of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, called on the NFL and the Chiefs to take disciplinary action and seize a chance to educate “on the dangers of homophobia in sports.”

Such slurs are used to “ridicule and harass young gay and transgender athletes on local sports fields across America,” Barrios said.

Barrios said he welcomed the apology.

“Larry Johnson’s apology sends an important message that there is no excuse for using anti-gay epithets,” Barrios said.

Drafted in the first round out of Penn State in 2003, Johnson was one of the best running backs in the NFL in 2005 and ‘06, rushing for more than 1,700 yards in each season. This year, like the Chiefs, he has struggled, averaging only 2.7 yards per carry.

Kansas City (1-6) has a bye week.

A pair of shoes could end up costing the University of Central Florida nearly $2 million a year.

UCF promised Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, that he could wear his father’s Nike Air Jordan brand for the Knights’ basketball team this season.

The problem? UCF has an exclusive $1.9 million contract with adidas that requires all coaches and athletes to use the company’s shoes, apparel and game equipment.

And now UCF and adidas are at an impasse, leaving an 18-year-old freshman with a famous father caught in middle.

“When I was being recruited, we talked about it,” said Marcus Jordan, who led Young to the 4A title last season. “They said they had talked to the adidas people and it wasn’t going to be a problem. I think everybody understands how big of a deal it is for my family.”

The deal has strained the relationship between UCF and one of its most important business partners, complicating current contract renewal negotiations. The university’s agreement with the company expires in 2010.

Contrary to a report last week by AOL Fanhouse, adidas officials told the Orlando Sentinel they have not reached an agreement with UCF yet about Jordan’s shoes.

“There is no compromise and the contract is currently under review,” adidas spokeswoman Andrea Corso said. “We are in negotiations for a future relationship regarding the broader UCF athletic program. What I can say is that these relationships are based upon agreed deliverables for both parties.”

UCF Athletics Association released a statement indicating it hopes to extend its five-year old relationship with adidas.

“At this time, we are working with adidas in determining how this unique set of circumstances will work for both parties,” the statement said. “We made adidas aware of this unique situation during contract renewal discussions. There is a great deal of respect for the adidas brand and the partnership.”

UCF’s contract with adidas represents about 5 percent of the UCF Athletics Association’s projected income this year.

UCF is negotiating a new deal with adidas that is tentatively expected to be worth $3 million and last up to six years. UCF would received all its merchandise from adidas free of charge under the new proposed contract, a change from the current deal that calls for UCF to buy some items from adidas at wholesale prices.

Nike has not expressed interest in taking over the UCF shoe contract, with the company well represented in the Florida market thanks to agreements with the University of Florida, Florida State and Miami.

In the worst possible scenario, UCF risks losing its current adidas contract worth and being forced buy its own clothing, shoes and equipment at full price for all 15 of its sports.

Marcus Jordan, the young man in the middle of this controversy, said he never meant to offend anyone.

“It’s a level of importance with the Jordan Brand and my family,” he said. “It’s no disrespect to adidas. I have a high level of respect for adidas, but I’m going to be wearing Jordan shoes. I’m wearing the adidas uniform and all my other UCF gear is adidas, but the shoes are going to be Jordan Brand.”

Dan Drane, an assistant professor of sports management at the University of Southern Mississippi, said it’s hard to imagine Marcus Jordan would be able to wear anything besides Nikes.

“Whether it’s right or wrong, Michael Jordan’s sons will always be compared to and associated with him,” Drane said. “It would be very difficult for them to be associated with a company other than the one that was so supportive of their father’s career.”

Drane said the shoe controversy goes beyond adidas simply wanting UCF to honor its contract.

“It’s a pretty deep issue that touches on a student’s legal right to wear whatever they feel is best for them,” Drane said. “In the end, this might end up being bigger than just a battle between adidas and Nike.”

So we heard this shocking news about Kanye West died in a car accident in Tuesday (October 13). The news was spreading like a wildfire over the internet. Some said he was died on the spot right after the incident, some other said that he couldn’t make it into the hospital. Is that true? Or is that only a hoax?

To your relief, NO, Kanye West death is NOT true and he is alive now and that officially makes him as the latest trend of celebrity death hoax. This time it was started by 4chan user on Twitter, just like some other celebrity death hoax such as those one pointed to Miley Cyrus and Lil Wayne.

So, Kanye West is fine, Miley Cyrus is alive and Lil Wayne is still somewhere in this human world.

The arrest of Galleon Group founder Raj Rajaratnam on insider trading charges swings attention back to the hot and heavy world of technology-stock trading. These highly volatile stocks are a trader’s playground because share prices can swing wildly based on whether companies miss or beat earnings’ expectations, even by a penny or two.

Analysts assign large multiples to high growth tech companies because rates of revenue increase can be immense if a product becomes a hot one. Conversely, if the technology turns out to be a dud, than investors fear the company is over-valued and its share price often plummets.

At worst, tech earnings can invite the kind of trading that are alleged in the Rajaratnam case, in which he’s accused of pushing for inside information to get a jump on an earnings releases. Rajaratnam has denied any wrong-doing

More commonly, investors have to sort through the noise, speculation, exaggerations and “urban legend’’ as one tech analyst described it in a research report this morning, that surround tech earnings.

Today, one of the kings of tech volatility, Apple Inc., reports its September quarter results after the market closes:

The consensus estimate is that Apple will earn $1.42 a share, but the “whisper” number (or the number that many investors unofficially expect Apple to achieve) may be closer to $1.50. Apple guidance, as is customary, expects a much lower number of as much as $1.23 a share.

Here’s a sampling of the pre-earnings noise:

iPhone issues:

One big issue that could cause Apple to miss is if the company fails to hits its projected iPhone sales. Oppenheimer analyst Yair Reiner says delivery and manufacturing problems may prevent Apple from hitting a target of 6 to 7 million iPhones being delivered in the quarter.

Mac Attack:

Iphone carriers have reported in recent surveys that supply constraints have eased, which means Apple could meet its delivery targets. Another area that could help drive Apple’s higher than expected profits are iPod sales. The portable music player’s design has just been upgraded, which could boost sales. Back to school sales this fall could also drive Mac sales higher than expected. (ThinkEquity LLC expects Mac sales of 2.85 million in the quarter, compared to the consensus estimate of 2.6 to 2.7 million)

Sensing Sentiment:

“At this point, our main concern is high expectations where the upside may not be enough to satisfy near-term bullish results,” writes Shaw Wu of Kaufman Bros. Equity Research

Better Luck Next Quarter:

Reiner expects “disappointing” earnings today and advises investors “to keep some power dry to buy Apple’’ after today’s earnings because he says there will be “gargantuan” iPhone gains in the December quarter when the bottleneck is resolved.

ANAHEIM, Calif. — Update | 7:00 p.m. Joba is fooling no one. Aybar pulls a double past a diving Teixeira. Damaso Marte is up in the bullpen. And here comes Girardi. — B.W.

Update | 6:56 p.m. Kendrick triples off the wall in right field. The Yankees bring the infield in and up comes Izturis to pinch hit for Napoli. Izturis delivers with a deep drive to right. Angels lead, 4-3. Quite a turn of events — a couple innings ago, the Angels looked flat, the stadium felt lifeless. No more. Scioscia now will presumably leave Izturis in the game and use Jeff Mathis behind the plate in Kendrick’s spot. — B.W.

Update | 6:55 p.m. In comes Chamberlain to replace Pettitte with one out, none on in the seventh. And along with him comes the Rally Monkey — water skiing (on video) in Monkeys of the Carribean. — B.W.

Update | 6:47 p.m. Instant replay. Rodriguez grounds out to Figgins, who stays with it despite being handcuffed and gets the force at second. Jepson fell behind, 3-0, before Rodriguez hit the 3-1 pitch.

Update | 6:41 p.m. Teixeira takes a 3-2 pitch low, and by the time he reaches first, Scioscia is on the way to the mound. Jepson it is to face Rodriguez. When they faced each other in Game 2, Rodriguez grounded out to third base. — B.W.

Update | 6:39 p.m. So far, the round is going to Oliver. Jeter strikeout, Damon liner to center. But if Rodriguez, who is on deck, gets up, Kevin Jepson is warming up. — B.W.

Update | 6:37 p.m. The Yankees send up Jeter, Damon, Teixeira and perhaps Rodriguez — three of whom have homered today — against Oliver, who has not allowed an earned run in the playoffs. Should be a tense battle with the Yankees wanting to seize the momentum back, and the Angels wanting to hold onto it. — B.W.

Update | 6:32 p.m. Guess Mike Scioscia’s faith in Vladimir Guerrero paid off. He just belted a two-out, two-run homer and it is all tied, 3-3. Just before that pitch, Joe Girardi paid a quick visit to Andy Pettitte, presumably to make sure Pettitte and Posada were on the same page as the catcher and pitcher talked. — B.W.

Update | 6:24 p.m. Bobby Abreu, naturally having worked the count full, singles to right field with one out and up jump a couple of relievers in the bullpen. Joba Chamberlain grabs a ball and gets loose. — B.W.

Update | 6:15 p.m. After seeing Andy Pettitte bamboozle the Angels baserunners with his pickoff move, Darren Oliver nearly turns the tables. The left-handed reliever nearly picks Robinson Cano off first. Cano was leaning and just barely got back before Kendry Morales could slap a tag on him. — B.W.

Update | 6:10 p.m. Darren Oliver has replaced Jered Weaver, and it is not a bad time to be coming into the game for a reliever. Shadows have just crossed home plate, while the sun — such as it on a partly-cloudy day — basks the mound … Though just as I write this, the clouds move in. Not that this helps Jorge Posada much — he just struck out against Oliver. — B.W.

Update | 6:03 p.m. If Torii Hunter gets on against Andy Pettitte again today, he’s probably going to stay anchored to the base. Pettitte, who picked him off in the fourth inning, also picked off Hunter in a game in May to set the career record for pickoffs. By throwing over to first 15 times in the first four innings, Pettitte has tried to make sure that the Angels don’t know when he’s going to first or when he’s going to home. It’s a great strategy, one that has turned the running Angels into the rattled Angels. — J.C.

Update | 6:02 p.m. Howie Kendrick just got the Angels on the board and the fans out of their seats with his first career playoff home run, making the score 3-1. That it came against the Yankees is not surprising. Kendrick is batting .426 against them during his career. — B.W.

Update | 5:53 p.m. So much for small ball. It’s a lot easier to score with one swing, and that’s what the Yankees have done three times today: Jeter, A-Rod and now Johnny Damon. It’s the first time Jered Weaver has allowed more than three homers in a game this season. The Yankees have hit 11 homers this postseason, and their opponents have hit 0. — T.K.

Update | 5:45 p.m. Andy Pettitte’s pickoff move is a riddle to the Angels and Torii Hunter just guessed wrong, taking off for second on Pettitte’s first move on a 3-1 pitch to Vladimir Guerrero. Pettitte threw to Teixeira, who threw to Jeter and Hunter was out. Two pitches later, Guerrerro walked. — B.W.

Update | 5:40 p.m. The Yankees sure know Bobby Abreu. The ex-Yankee remains hitless in the series, and even though he hit the ball hard just now — lining a 3-2 pitch to left field — Johnny Damon was playing well toward the line and barely had to move. — B.W.

Update | 5:33 p.m. In five postseason games and four innings of a sixth, Alex Rodriguez has four homers and nine runs batted in. He seems comfortable, he seems confident and he is playing like one of the best players in the major leagues. Before Rodriguez acknowledged using steroids in February, the debate about the best player in baseball usually involved him and Albert Pujols. After Rodriguez was connected to steroids, his name mostly vanished from those debates. But, the more time passes and the more Rodriguez dominates October, his name will return to those arguments. Pujols has to be considered the best player in the game and Joe Mauer would follow him. But Rodriguez, especially the one who produces in the postseason, is in the conversation again. — J.C.

Update | 5:29 p.m. Runners at first and second and a Yankee hits a ground ball in the hole at second base. Sound familiar? Howie Kendrick grabs it, wheels 180 degrees, and fires a strike to Erick Aybar, who this time is happy to be able to take a safe forceout. Wonder what Maicer Izturis is thinking. — B.W.

Update | 5:26 p.m. The slumped shoulders, the deep breaths after a pitch (or an umpire) misses. Jered Weaver is starting to exhibit the body language of his older brother, Jeff. After Rodriguez’s homer, Matsui and Posada draw back-to-back walks. Out comes the pitching coach Mike Butcher, and up gets Darren Oliver in the bullpen. — B.W.

Update | 5:21 p.m. Jered Weaver just threw a 3-1 changeup to Alex Rodriguez that did not change anything except the scoreboard. Rodriguez hammered it deep to left field, his fourth homer of the postseason and second of the series. 2-0, Yankees. — B.W.

Update | 5:16 p.m. You know the Angels are desperate to get their running game going. But Andy Pettitte just isn’t letting them. He threw over four times while Chone Figgins was on first base in the first inning, and five times here in the third before Erick Aybar finally stole second. Something to remember about Pettitte: his pickoff move is among the very best in baseball, but he’s actually not all that fast to the plate. The trick for base runners is guessing right. If they run and he goes to first, they’re dead. But if they run and he goes to the plate, they’re usually safe. In any case, Aybar’s steal doesn’t help, because Figgins pops up to end the inning. (Oh, and as for my previous post, I forgot California Pizza Kitchen. My apologies to the good folks at C.P.K.) — T.K.

Update | 5:02 p.m. The other day, my friend Bill Shaikin of The Los Angeles Times listed on his blog all the advertisements between the foul poles at Yankee Stadium. And it’s a fair point. But the Angels’ owner, Arte Moreno, made his fortune in outdoor advertising, and there’s no shortage here. So in the interest of fairness, here are all the ads between the foul poles at the otherwise fabulous Angel Stadium. Take a deep breath, folks: Boys & Girls Club; Lucas Oil; AAA Auto Insurance; Sharp; Vegas.com; ESPN; Suzuki; freecreditreport.com; Budweiser; San Diego Zoo; Spongetech.com; Kia; Jet Blue; Pechanga Resort & Casino; Del Taco; Chevron; Corona; Yellow Pages; Monster Energy Drink; Konica; AutoTrader.com; Carl’s Jr.; Panda Express; AT&T Wireless; Pechanga Resort & Casino (again); Pepsi; Ruby’s Diner; Coors Light; Budweiser (again); Stanley; Los Angeles Times; AT&T (again); State Farm; Trader Joe’s; Linder’s Furniture. — T.K.

DDerek Jeter led off Game 3 with a home run.

Update | 4:57 p.m. The Angels need to run and need to be aggressive to be successful, but with Andy Pettitte pitching, that’s going to be difficult. After Chone Figgins singled in the first, he looked tentative as he took leads off first base. Figgins was leaning back to the base more than he was thinking about stealing. Pettitte made six pickoff throws to first to keep Figgins even closer to the base. When Torii Hunter hit into an inning-ending double play, Figgins was erased. Pettitte picked off six runners in 2009 and has an all-time high of 97 in his career. That is the most by any pitcher since pickoffs became an official statistic in 1974. When Pettitte notched his 95th pickoff on May 1, he passed Kenny Rogers for the career lead. Who was the player that Pettitte picked off? Hunter. — J.C.

Update | 4:50 p.m. Jered Weaver has made a nice adjustment after struggling with the command of his curveball, coming at the Yankees with a heavy dose of changeups that helped extricate himself from a first-and-second, no-outs fix in the second inning. — B.W.

Update | 4:48 p.m. Good job by Jered Weaver to survive the second, but he’s already up to 40 pitches. That can’t be comforting for the Angels. Another bad sign: they got their leadoff man, Chone Figgins, on base, yet Andy Pettitte kept him close and Figgins was erased on a double play. The Angels just aren’t the Angels yet. — T.K.

Update | 4:43 p.m. A crisply turned double play by the Yankees. Jeter making a quick, clean feed to Cano, who hangs in with Figgins bearing down and a nice stretch and scoop by Teixeira on the back end. It must be nice to catch and throw a baseball when the weather doesn’t make it feel like a round brick. — B.W.

Update | 4:39 p.m. People often point out that Jeter has hit his 20 postseason home runs in far more at-bats than Mickey Mantle hit his 18. That’s true, obviously. But within the context of the player Jeter is, it’s quite significant. Jeter slugs better in the postseason than he does in the regular season, despite facing far better pitchers. Before that homer in the first his career slugging percentage in the postseason was .480, compared to .459 in the regular season. For all his greatness, Mantle’s slugging percentage was actually lower in the World Series (the only postseason round when he played) than it was in the regular season. Mantle had a .557 slugging percentage in the regular season, .535 in the Series. — T.K.
Update | 4:36 p.m. Not quite like Jeter’s blast, but the Angels get an encouraging beginning, too, with Chone Figgins’s ground single past Alex Rodriguez. Figgins entered Monday batting .053 in the postseason, though he reached base four times in Game 2 and put the Angels ahead, 3-2, with his first hit of the playoffs. — B.W.

Update | 4:32 p.m. When Derek Jeter opened the game with a homer off Jered Weaver, it was easy to flashback to Game 4 of the 2000 World Series. Jeter led off that game by crushing a homer off Bobby Jones of the Mets. The Mets had won Game 3 and were trying to crawl back into the series. Jeter’s homer gave the Yankees a quick lead in a game they eventually won, 3-2. The Yankees won the series in five games. Three pitches into Game 3 of the A.L.C.S., Jeter hit another road homer that had to make the home team wonder what they had to do to overcome the Yankees. It was Jeter’s 20th postseason homer. — J.C.

Update | 4:22 p.m. Derek Jeter pounds a 2-0 fastball into the left-field seats, just to the right of the Yankees bullpen. Hard to script a better start for the Yankees. We’ll see if Jeter’s shot is a bolt of doubt fired into the Angels.

Update | 4:17 p.m. Throwing out the first pitch for the Angels were Rod Carew and Bobby Grich, who exchanged roles from their days as the right-side of the infield — Carew, the first baseman, throwing a strike to Grich. Maicer Izturis take note. — B.W.

One thing the Yankees pitching appears to have done in the first two games is limit the Angels bunting, base stealing and general aggressiveness on the offensive side of the ball.

Angels Manager Mike Scioscia said if the Angels were going to prolong this series, that is something they would need to do. “Expanding our game,’’ he called it.

Though Vladimir Guerrero has struggled in this series, Scioscia left him in the cleanup spot.

“If there were ways to reshuffle a deck that was going to make you more productive, certainly it’s something we would look at,’’ Scioscia said. “Right now, I think, there’s a lot of focus on Vlad. But we’ve got a lot of guys we need to get into their game on the offensive side swinging bats.’’

Andy Pettite, who has thrown more postseason innings than any other pitcher, can move ahead of John Smoltz with whom he is tied for the most career victories, 15. But Pettitte is 0-4 against the Angels over the last two seasons. — B.W.

Here are the lineups for Game 3 of the A.L.C.S., with the Yankees’ Andy Pettitte facing the Angels’ Jered Weaver, along with each player’s stats for the first two games:
