I think a lot of junk in the App Store is created just for the sake of being created. I’m not saying an App needs to be complicated or take five years to make, but it needs to have a great deal of thought and innovation put into it.

I always ask myself a few questions when setting out to do something creative. 1) How is this usually done? 2) Why is it usually done that way? 3) Can I do it differently?

If you can use your own unique approach on something you’re automatically 10 steps ahead of everyone else.

I really don’t think you can say one is better than the other, it all just comes down to what your looking for. The biggest disadvantage to android right now isn’t android itself but the fact that the experience varies a lot from manufacturer to manufacturer. I’m on second android phone now and the only negatives two are all related to samsung screwing with things.
