I'm excited to have Bostonista's first ever guest blogger, Jessica Richards, making her premiere tonight!

She's one of two bloggers graciously covering a few NYFW events and shows for Bostonista so keep an eye out for her updates through out the week as well as some from The Trendy Dwarf himself!

Admit it; you're guilty of about ninety percent of the Shit Fashion Girls Say. Secretly we revel in the fact that we work in an industry that on any given day at work we can announce "I'm channeling Daphne Guinness, but in a pencil skirt" to approving nods. Someone might even add that they're thinking about getting bangs.

At Thursday night's Diet Pepsi Style Studio Fashion Show, the crowd roared as he presented the work of four regional designers with equal parts cheeky and acerbic wit that Fashion Girls Eat Right Up. Looks included fierce safari prints, avant-garde work wear (hence Doonan's suggestion to bring Guinness to the workplace) and metallic finishes inspired by the Diet Pepsi can itself.

Lining the front row were Kristen Chenoweth, Angela Simmons, Kelly Rutherford, Sandra Lee, Christian Cota, Debra Messing, and Mary-Kate Olsen (Bostonista: !!!!!!!), as well as set designer, Jonathan Adler.

New York Fashion Week F/W 2012

Well, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is officially underway and while I can't be there personally this season I'm keeping a close eye on all of the events, shows, collections, and models thanks to two fabulous guest bloggers who ARE in New York and the wide array of designers utilizing live streams!

Trends? So far, I see a lot of floral, an interesting choice for fall collections, but the patterns are in rich colors, and heavy fabrics.

Bostonista Style: Splurge vs. Steal

I don't often (or, come to think of it, ever) do Splurge vs. Steal posts.

When I read them I often find myself thinking, "But it's about the quality!" or "That splurge isn't something I'd spend that much on anyway!" or, most often, "But that steal is a complete and utter KNOCK OFF! It should be illegal!"

So I'm a little surprised at myself for doing a just that sort of piece!

This one was just too good not to share!

The Splurge?

Reed Krakoff's Ombre-effect leather ballet flats ($495).

Now, I'm not a huge fan of the yellow and army green combo. I actually prefer it in the nude/black version but for the purposes of this Splurge/Steal comparison I'm going with the yellow. They are quite cheery and would look perfect with a white sundress.

The Steal:

Old Navy's cap toe canvas ballet flats ($22.94).

OK, so it isn't an exact match but you already know that knock offs bother me. I like the idea that you can take whats best from the designer version (in this case the cap toe ballet style and trendy color) and have something similar for an incredible price. I mean, those Krakoff's are $500 for Gods sake! For me, thats an insane amount to spend on an item that might only last me one season before I've moved onto the next thing. No, the Old Navy quality can't compare but at $23 I can wear a trend like neon yellow all summer and not feel guilty about tossing them in October.

Back in high school I had a pair of pepto-bismal pink cords from Bebe.

Just writing that sentence is embarrassing.

The thing is, at the time, I genuinely loved them. Yes, they were super low riders with a bit of a flare but it was 2001, people! Britney was still my fashion icon! I wore them with a black sweater and ponytail and God knows what shoes and I adored them!

(The offending pair were similar to this style from Current/Elliot except with flared bottoms. Yeah, I know.)

I also remember wearing them only once because I was teased mercilessly for their bright color.

I got home from school and tearfully relegated them to the back of my closet never to be seen again!

Since then I've mostly stuck to dark washed denim and black pants.

But lately oh how those colored denims are calling out to me.

The other night I went to National Jean Company's grand opening of their new store on Newbury St., and, rather than the usual dark skinnies catching my eye, it was the rainbow of jeans lining the wall that sucked me in!

I wasn't quite ready to commit on Thursday night but now I can't stop thinking about brightening things up!

J Brand Twill Skinny Jean Bright Red

I don't wear much red. It used to seem like such a scary color but now red denim seems almost like a neutral. I love J Brand's bright red twill skinny jeans ($176) because J Brand is the master of the skinny cut. They always fit, look and feel great.

For a more affordable option there is always Forever 21 (if you can fit into their jeans which I never seem to be able to...) which have a great red option with their Super Stretch Colored Skinnies with Ankle Zips ($21.44)

I'm also going crazy for green everything and definitely plan on scooping up these AG The Farrah crop jeans in kelly green ($159) for spring.

I'll be wearing them with this striped dolman tee from Loft that I've been living in all winter ($39.99)

I love all of LOFT's basics because they are so comfortable and go with everything! On cool days I'll pair it with my uber cute Urban Renewal lace inset denim jacket from Urban Outfitters ($69).

Another great feature of the Gisella style that I own is the velvet detailing at the top of each stocking. It adds a touch of personality that looks great peeking out from your skirt.

Chanel Pre-Fall 2012

I'm still bemoaning the snow so I set off in search of some much needed warm weather inspiration.

I found it in Chanel's Pre-Fall 2012 collection that hit the runway back in December.

Inspired by the Maharajahs and India itself (Karl has never been. In fact, he told Style.com, "It's much more inspiring not to go to place than to go." Ohhhhhkay, Karl.) Chanel plunged head first into magnificent extravagance mixing a vision of India with the intricate craftsmanship and sophistication of France.

The colors, the jewelry, and the hand embroidery all led me to a dreamy, warm world with elephants trumpeting off in the distance.

Winter Blues

Every January around this time I start to get a little bit restless.

Living in New England you'd think I'd be used to endless winters since they can start in October and last through April.

But I'm not a winter person.

I like hot, sunny days and flimsy dresses and sitting out on the deck.

Once the holidays are over I have zero tolerance for cold weather or snow.

So, here we are in the middle of another January and, even during a mild winter like this one, I can't reconcile myself to another two and a half months of possible storms and early nights.

The fact that most stores are already full of warm weather clothes just makes me ache for spring even more! The solution to beat my frigid mood? Color!

Suddenly reds, greens, neon, and brights are catching my eye like never before!

Most of my day dreams have been centered around this PS1 wallet.

Isn't that citron just so happy? I feel like I could be in a convenience store grabbing milk in the middle of a blizzard and pulling out this wallet would immediately make the world seem warmer!

Another way to brighten up my world would be to add to my small collection of Equipment blouses with this one in hot pink!

They are so soft and comfortable I almost don't mind how expensive they are- almost! But sometimes a little retail therapy is the best cure for a gloomy day, don't you think?

Slightly closer to my price range is this CC Skye bracelet with hints of neon weaved between the metals!

Isn't it charming? It would add just the right hint of color to nearly any outfit, I think.

So, how are you beating the winter blues? At this moment I'm willing to try just about anything!

A Celebrity Moment: Shailene Woodley at the Golden Globes

I can't believe that I'm saying this...

I am absolutely OBSESSED with Shailene in Marchesa tonight!

It doesn't look like much in pictures but on screen it moved, it shimmered, it's elegant, grown up and oh so pretty.

I haven't seen The Descendants (for which she is earning rave reviews) but I've seen Secret Life and based solely on that show I'm amazed by her star turn!

I'm strangely excited to see what she'll wear for the Oscars!

Bostonista's Best Dressed 2011

Can you believe that it's already 2012?

I can't! It's not that I'm not ready for a new year (believe me I need a fresh new start) but it doesn't seem time for best dressed of the year lists! I feel like I just compiled my 2010 list! I guess that is why this list is so late and probably completely irrelevant at this point.

2011 was the year of extravagant weddings, breakout stars, and a freelancing Carine Roitfeld so it was hard to narrow my best dressed list down to only five women!
It takes more than one great outfit to land on Bostonista's Best- I look for consistently great/interesting/inspiring/beautiful style throughout the year.
It also helps if I don't find you irritating or overexposed.

It takes a brave woman to try to forge her own career in the shadow of an uber-famous industry family and even braver one to then go nude in her film debut.

Elizabeth Olsen shocked critics with her haunting portrayal of an ex-cult member in Martha Marcy May Marlene that has blown any comparisons to her famous sisters acting careers out of the water.

Elizabeth may have a contemporary clothing line named after her (Elizabeth & James) and did her sister's proud in looks by The Row but it was when she stepped away from MK&A's clothing lines that she truly came into her own.

OK I know I said that over exposure is a strike against you on my list but my mom would have killed me if I didn't include the Duchess of Cambridge!
There is also no denying her impact on the fashion world this year- from that Sarah Burton for McQueen wedding gown to propelling Reiss sales world wide her style has become a global phenomenon. Sure, it's not the electrifying style of her late mother-in-law but she carried herself with such grace and elegance that it was hard not to fall in love with Catherine Middleton.

While Alexander McQueen has been Kate's standard go-to house (especially for it's military style coats) I tend to favor her in piece from Jenny Packham. In my opinion, the label is just better suited to her girlie, classic style instead of the avant garde leanings of McQueen.

Just last week I asked if the fashion industry's crush on the 13-year-old Fanning was inappropriate but you can't deny that she's become a fashion force this past year.
I love that Elle wholeheartedly embraces fashion as an art form, isn't afraid to have fun with her style, and always looks perfectly age appropriate.
Elle starred in the Marc by Marc Jacobs fall campaign but she seems to have also become the unofficial muse of the Mulleavy sisters frequently wearing Rodarte to events and starring in their artsy video for NOWNESS.com as well as a big editorial in their issue of "A Magazine..." She's even captured Karl Lagerfeld's heart!
Based on 2011 alone I think Elle's quirky, irreverent style is only going to get better and better in the years to come!

My number one best dressed woman of the year? Stylist and W contributor, Giovanna Battaglia!

Another former model turned industry professional Giovanna moved from Milan to New York this year to work for W magazine (and to be closer to her oh-so-sexy beau, Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld!)

Giovanna has the ultimate industry wardrobe that mixes bright colors and clashing prints to high fashion perfection. She's also a big fan of piling on bracelets- as far as Giovanna is concerned the more accessories the better! Sometimes, I feel like magazine stylists have a hard time translating their style vision from the page to real life but Giovanna does so without ever veering into costume territory.

A Celebrity Moment: Elle Fanning in Teen Vogue!

Is it weird that even though I'm 26 my current fashion inspiration is 13-year-old Elle Fanning?

Probably, but I'm not alone in my Elle-fandom as she's been whole heartedly embraced by the fashion industry this past year.

(A hilarious conversation between my older brother and I ensued when I was reading Vogue's 2011 best dressed special issue a few weeks back. He flipped through it and was completely confused by the Fanning sister's being included. When I protested that Elle was "amazing"and "everyone in fashion is obsessed with her", he kept saying, "But she's a kid! She's 13! This isn't OK!" He and I will have to agree to disagree on that one!)

Elle has the Mulleavy stamp of approval and that's good enough for me!

This month, she's gracing the cover of age-appropriate Teen Vogue (which of course I just finally cancelled) and looking more beautiful and charming than even I thought possible.

So what do you think- Is Elle a style icon in the making or is the fashion world inappropriate for idolizing a child?

Last Minute Holiday Gift Guide...

Well, it's Sunday which means there are only 8 days left until Christmas.

On Thursday, Bloomingdales invited their favorite Boston bloggers to a mixer and to show off all of the amazing gifts still available. There were so many great items that I decided to share them all with you!

Consider this a list minute, luxe, gift guide for the most fashionable people in your life! Not near a Bloomingdales? That's okay! You can still shop online and get guaranteed Christmas delivery through Wednesday at 11:59 PM (for standard delivery) and Thursday by 5 PM (for express delivery). So, go ahead and look around- you still have plenty of time!

As always Rebecca Minkoff accessories top my shopping list. Her bags are classic shapes in beautiful materials and refreshingly logo free.

When I spotted this sumptuous Rebecca Minkoff ($395) I knew I had to add it to my own wish list! The shape and chain strap is incredibly ladylike while the pop of red and studs add personality making it a perfect gift for your little sister OR your favorite aunt!

Have a beauty addict friend? There is really only one thing that she wants this year-

...the Clarisonic Mia 2 ($142)! The Mia 2 takes everything that's great about the original Mia and adds on two cleansing speeds, a sensitive brush head, and timer!

You might have noticed that, even though we don't have any snow, it is FREEZING here in Boston. I can't help but be drawn to fur- I feel like I'm being defensive but I thought this vest might be a controversial choice. Does it help that I grabbed it off the clearance rack? Well, if you don't have any qualms about fur and there is a glamorous lady in your life who deserves a luxe Christmas present then this Theory vest is it! Check out this similar style from Dolce Vita ($520) or go the faux route with this great vest from Aqua ($148)!

The Chestnut Hill Bloomingdales has a great All Saints Spitalfield's boutique up on the third floor that completely evokes the mood of the British label.

For your bad ass friends (or just the girl who likes to pair tough accessories with florals) I loved their Damisi motorcycle boots ($295)! I was also immediately drawn to this glamorous coat.

I know- fur again! But can't you imagine your jet setting friend bashing around London in it?

The weird thing is that while they have the in store boutique Bloomingdales.Com apparently doesn't carry All Saints. But you can still shop All Saints.Com!

I always think sexy boyfriends deserve decadent but practical gifts so for the man in your life I'd go with this amazing Burberry watch ($295).

I love the leather strap and classic watch face. Its simple but masculine and can work as a present for your boyfriend or father. That doesn't happen often...unless you're creepy.

If you want your boyfriend to smell better may I suggest my favorite cologne?

YSL's La Nuit Del'Homme ($75) makes me go weak at the knees every time I smell it and I usually hate all cologne on men!

At some point I must have stopped shopping for others and started looking for myself. But its hard to be in such a beautiful store and only shopping for other people! The Diane von Furstenberg section was right in the middle of our party so I can't really be held responsible!

First on my list is this darling tweed jacket with lemon lining ($585). I noticed that it isn't really heavy enough for a New England winter but layered over chunky knits with an infinity scarf or two it would be great on a mild day. I suppose its meant to be more of a menswear inspired, over sized blazer but I can't really do boxy shoulders.

The other piece I was drooling over? This DVF embellished mini skirt ($285)!

As far as I'm concerned you can never go wrong with neon and sparkles! Obviously, this is a great party piece but I'd also pair it with a neutral top and wedged boots or oxfords for day.

I have no idea what I'll be doing for New Years Eve yet but whatever it is I want to be doing it in this stunning Parker dress ($308)! I literally stopped dead in my tracks when I came across the mannequin. Sure, it's a little cheesy but its also gorgeous and really fun just like NYE!

I didn't want to leave it behind!

I hope my Bloomingdales gift guide has provided a lot of ideas and inspiration for you last minute shoppers! Don't get discouraged- the perfect gift is still out there you just need to know where to look! And don't forget yourself! That way you're guaranteed to like at least one present under the tree!

Today, I was honored to have the opportunity of interviewing one of my favorite, emerging designers, Chris Benz at his trunk show at the beautiful Gretta Luxe Wellselley.

There are some people in fashion who have huge egos or are just plain mean- Chris is not one of them. He couldn't have been sweeter when I admitted how nervous I was ("Want a glass of wine? We have people walking around with wine and champagne!") or when I started fashion geek-ing out ("I totally understand! I was the same way!").
Plus, it's really hard not to love a man who pulls off pink hair so well!

Bostonista: Thank you so much for taking time out to talk with me today! I'm such a big fan!
Chris Benz: Of course! Thanks for coming!

Bostonista: You’ve said that the S/S 2012 collection was about an escape from the summer heat of the city. Like a wild trip to Coney Island. That inspiration is evident in the prints and colors but the silhouettes are very ladylike! What inspired the shapes?

Chris Benz: Well, I mean, it was definitely about escaping. A lot of our collections are about escape! Our customer is often times very ladylike and free spirited at the same time. So, we were looking a lot at Andy Warhol and his contemporaries at the time like Candy Darling and how they were all very inspired by the idea of old hollywood glamour kind of in a tongue and cheek way and using that proportion to dress up for day so thats where a lot of the shapes came from.

Bostonista: You’re known for your use of color. How do you decide on a color palette every season? Does it come before or after the story for the collection?
Chris Benz: It depends. It depends on the season sometimes, like the fall 2012 collection that we’re working on right now, we actually came up with the color palette before and then kind of backed up into the inspiration. So it depends. It always changes throughout the process. You know, at the very beginning we might want it to be all black and white and then like color is an accessory to it and then it will ultimately become a really colorful collection. Philosophically I like to design in a way where we’re open to as much inspiration through out the process as possible rather than coming up with an idea and having to...(Bostonista: Stick to it?) Yeah, exactly I like to be a little more fluid.

Bostonista: Do you have a favorite piece here today?
Chris Benz: Well...I do love this dress. (Picks up a pink color blocked silk dress)Which actually at a store level- I spend so much time going around to stores and meeting with customers this is one that looks so great on everyone! Its a little bit of color blocking without feeling too crazy. Its really fun to have people try on this dress because its such a kind of like a crowd pleaser. And philosophically it goes back to every thing should be as comfortable as a t-shirt!

(Chris's favorite piece via the Spring 2012 look book)

Bostonista: You’ve been collaborating on shoes with Alejandro Ingelmo for a few seasons now- how did that come about? Can you elaborate on that process?
Chris Benz: We’re very much contemporaries. Our business are at the same point. I know him just from living in New York and from being CFDA members together. I think we were both inducted in the same year. And it just came about as a natural progression. Obviously, we always need shoes! And, you know, he has a very specific aesthetic and so do I and in many ways (are) kind of opposite of each other so when we collaborate together it makes for such an interesting result in the end. The way that we do it is we have three meetings before, you know, while we’re developing the collection and we kind of pick what our silhouette is and Alejandro will create the shoe and then I’ll do whatever the color or application of print or whatever it is. The print and the colors always come from our end and then the structure is Alejandro.

Bostonista: Any more collaborations planned for the future?
Chris Benz: Well, we do jewelry also! This is all jewelry from Spring 2012 which we do with friends of mine whose collection is called The Woods and they are out of Colorado actually! They do a lot of high/low really well. Like, this (pointing to a necklace) is sandal wood and diamonds! Then there is all these Tibetan prayer pockets with these really gorgeous metal seed beads. We work with them much in the same way as we do with the other collaborations I give them inspiration and then let them go and they go and do their own spin on it. It always ends up being really great. They have really great taste and it always ends up being really beautiful.

Bostonista: Would you consider doing a “Fast fashion” collaboration?
Chris Benz: Maybe. I mean, at this point, we’re so busy with our main collection and whats exciting to me is developing that in a bunch of different ways. I’d love to do our own fast fashion moment! I feel like so many people have done it it doesn’t seem as exciting to me. But, you know, I think there is always a place for a little take-a-way.

Bostonista: You started with an internship at Marc Jacobs and then designed for J. Crew. They are such different companies were there specific things you wanted to apply or avoid when you started your own business?
Chris Benz: I don’t know that specifically there were things to replicate or not. I always say, when people ask me, "what should I be looking for? Whats the formula for doing things?" I feel like every experience is a learning process and theres always successes and failures throughout your life. For me, working for Marc was really great because it was the most beautiful fabrics, the most expensive buttons and hand sewing and all of those techniques that are kind of very old world designer which I loved. On the flip side a great takeaway from J. Crew was selling clothes! And really getting into the mind of the customer and merchandising and so the combination of those two experiences was what was really valuable.

Bostonista: February is almost here which means the fall collections! How far along in the design process are you? What can we expect to see?
Chris Benz: Well, its definitely dressy. We’re really feeling dressy and migrating away from the very casual and um kind of like sophisticated casual and going in a little bit dressier way.
Bostonista: To me, you’re the best at doing a neat, slouchy look- so is that still there?!
Chris Benz: Oh its definitely that! Absolutely!

The unseasonably warm weather might put a damper on the whole white Christmas idea but it does make Christmas shopping on Newbury a whole lot more appealing!

From 12-4 the shops on Newbury will have special deals, giveaways, and refreshments for a special Holiday Stroll!

And you might just run into Santa (and me) doing some shopping!

Daphne Guinness for MAC!

It was only a matter of time before someone smartened up and gave Daphne Guinness the makeup line she was destined to create.

MAC (always the innovator in terms of collaborations) stepped up to the plate today and announced The Daphne Guinness for MAC collection.

The dramatic, jewel toned collection features pigments, blushes, eye shadows, nail polish, and lip products in MAC's classic packaging.

Side Note: Based on the pictures MAC released I don't actually see Daphne's name on any of the products. This leads me to believe that in stores they'll be limited edition colors without much emphasis on Daphne's involvement since outside of the fashion world, she's not that well known. If you're going out in search of her products I suggest knowing the individual names because if you just ask for the Daphne collection the sales girls will probably give you blank looks and have no idea what you're talking about. Why don't brands insist that up-to-date knowledge of the brand (and all up coming items) be a job requirement?

Sorry, ranting.

It won't be in stores until December 16th but given how quickly past MAC collections have sold out, and the rabid fascination with Ms. Guinness' life, I think pre-ordering would be the safe bet.

A Model Moment: First Look at Gemma Ward in The Great Gatsby

My favorite model-turned-actress has a part in Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic The Great Gatsby!

Gemma Ward is playing Catherine and today we got our first look of her on the Australian set.

I was excited for this movie from the second it was announced because who can resist Baz Luhrmann's luscious sets and surreal story telling? Add in the fact that it is one of my favorite novels and that Carey Mulligan is playing Daisy and you can imagine how thrilled I was.

But now that I know that Gemma is also in it? I'm absolutely giddy!

Alas, The Great Gatsby isn't scheduled to hit theaters until Christmas Day 2012 so I'll have to wait!

Is Vena Cava On Its Last Beat?

In September one of my favorite labels, Vena Cava, held a small, private dinner to show Spring 2012.

With the economy still struggling to come back many smaller designers are significantly cutting back so Vena Cava's scaled down presentation didn't seem that worrying.

But last week Fashionista reported that designers Sophie and Lisa had given up the lease on VC's studio and WWD said that talks with new investors had broken down. Since then Barney's no longer has Vena Cava listed on their website and Bergdorf's has only a small selection left almost all of it is on sale. Not a huge boost of confidence from two of their biggest retailers.

One of my first real designer pieces was a silk Vena Cava dress. Like many of their pieces, it worked from day to night, and was subversive enough to be stylish but not alienating. I wore it constantly, from a Valentine's date to a summer brunch to after work bar hopping. After two years, I dropped a few dress sizes but had a hard time letting that dress go so it had a place of honor in my closet for months.

I regret selling it now (although it did help go towards another fashionable purchase) because maybe it would be something a daughter or granddaughter would want someday. Hopefully, I'll have many more chances to buy some more of their amazing pieces and this time, I swear I'll hold onto them!

Two great events to tell you about this week!

First, get in the holiday spirit with the official tree lighting on Newbury St., Tuesday night at 5!

Over the weekend head over to the waterfront to Louis Boston to check out luxe loungewear company Skin's latest offerings including some ready-to-wear pieces for day during Louis Exposure.

Louis Exposure is a pop-up store in store experience with local and national talent helping them gain credible exposure at one of the country's most famous retail stores, Louis Boston.

Also featured this weekend will be jewelry designer Eddie Borgo and Ariel Knitwear!

Boots & Boys....

Sometimes Ke$ha is right...

Boots and boys DO bring me so much joy!
But this is a fashion blog so we'll stick to discussing boots and not my paramours!

As my least favorite time of year keeps popping up (snow before Halloween, freezing cold temperatures most days) its time to think about boots once again! I wish I could just have the boots without the winter weather!

I have a lot of boots on my wish list this year some practical for snow and unplowed sidewalks and some that are just so pretty!

Elizabeth & James Wayfar boot ($350) is flat so it makes navigating icy streets a cinch plus I love the contrasting brown buckles across the top and the angled zipper!

If you want a bolder ankle boot choice then you'd need to go with Sperry Topsider's Princeton bootie in Leopard Pony ($150).

They have a slight platform and the heels are just over 3 inches BUT they have almost hiking boot like bottoms so you can wear them in slippery conditions without fear of falling. (Unless you're as klutzy as I am and you trip in all heels in any kind of weather!) They are definitely day to night shoes that can go with any outfit since, in my opinion anyway, leopard print has become a classic neutral!

Now, when its a blizzard outside and I just want to be curled up in front of the fire with some hot chocolate my mind turns to cozy things. Like, UGG's Lattice Cardy boots with buttons ($140). I know, I KNOW! But this is New England, not New York, and sometimes I care more about being warm and comfortable than being absolutely stylish! Now, I'd wear these around the house like extra warm slippers but I guess if its a dry, cool fall day then they'd be okay outside with jeans.

On Thursday, when it was cold and down pouring (but thankfully not snowing) I pulled out my Teva Jade Cove High boot (C/O Teva) and couldn't help but be happy that my rain boots looked more like fancy boots. Rather than feeling like a thrown together slob in bright yellow rubber I felt put together in tall, water proof suede!

I have to say that I'm not a huge fan of the black rubber sole with the brown boot but the plaid inner lining is darling even if I'm the only one who gets to see it! They're stylish enough that you could wear them to walk to work and not have to change into something else once you get to the office!

The boots I've been dreaming of forever- flat, tall, chocolate brown, leather or suede boots. I can never seem to find exactly what I want- either they were the right style but the wrong color or the right color but with giant heels or fringe or something that just wasn't what I wanted.

Of course, enough money makes it easy to get pretty much anything (well, except love and happiness but thats beside the point) so I shouldn't really be surprised that my dream boots exist- just entirely out of my price point!

A girl can always count on Miucci Prada to know exactly what she needs! Prada's Tall Buckle Riding Boot ($890) are chocolate brown perfection! They have just the right amount of slouch to look cool but not messy. I'd give my right eye for them.
