This place decided to change its name and upgraded it image again, by blowing out all bad reviews with a name change, to attract new suckers, I mean brides. They did not change their store image. All of their dresses come in boxes direct from China. This is because all of the dresses are fakes. Yes, I said it, FAKES. As far as the public can tell, they look as good as the real thing. The only difference is that the labels inside are missing. That is because you dont get them with fakes.

So best of luck to you if you order from the new Madame dot com website. Hope you enjoy that fake. Oh yes, do not expect a return or your money back. You payed for what you got. No need to bitch about it on your wedding day.

RK Bridal makes up a story to help promote sales. Alfred Angelo can make as many knockoff Bella Twilight wedding gowns as needed since they come from China and I have not heard of a polyesther shortage. Also, those who are looking for this dress are not serious buyers since they are only 13 years old, but RKBridal would have you belive different. See the below puff piece that RK Bridal has a hand in. Its just a farce.

David's Bridal has announced that they are shutting down their Priscilla of Boston labels (which include wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses by Priscilla of Boston, Platinum for Priscilla of Boston, Melissa Sweet, Reverie, Jewel and Vineyard Collection) on December 31, 2011.

This is no supprise to all of us in the bridal industry. You just can't take a wonderful brand like Priscilla of Boston and junk it with David's Bridal quality dresses. It has been known that David's Bridal has been making the gowns our of their factories once it was purchased back in 2002. It does not take long to crap out a line in the bridal world. This will also happen to the name Vera Wang. We have heard that she actually has some input into the line, but Vera, take my advice, stay far away or the giant will drag you name into the mud. Vera has followed all the sellouts as time goes, and eventually Vera Wang will be thought of as an el-cheapo brand like Martha Stuart. At least the Olsen twins started at the bottom.

The other thing I see that killed the Priscilla of Boston stores is what is killing the smaller boutiques. Brides today are demanding the lower prices as they see advertised online. This has been a killer for the industry in the past few years driving the slower to react stores right out of business. David's Bridal is smart here consolidating their brands to their own stores and not chasing after the elite bride. If the market continues in this fashion and brides continue to drive down prices, the only place to shop will be David's Bridal.

To all my Brides out there, do not believe a review that has been payed for. Here is an example below:

I found my cake baker on weddingwire.com and he had all good reviews - and now I know why.

I was very excited about working with Renee of Fatty Patty's. My mother and I went for a tasting and she had forgotten we were coming. It wasn't too big a deal since she always keeps some tasting cakes and icings around. They tasted amazing. I had looked at her website and knew she could create just about anything and her price was reasonable. I had brought pictures of a bunch of cakes we liked different aspects of (shape of this one, detailing of that one etc). Not too long after, we booked her. I didn't live local, so I left it to my mother and wedding coordinator to iron out the details. Overall, Renee can bake beautiful tasty cakes, but she does not do well at running a business. Dealing with her became a stressful ordeal. The end result being that there had been 1 picture I had given her just to show the ribbon edge and flowers on it, and she made THAT cake exactly. Ignoring that we had talked about a different shaped cake, and that we REALLY didn't like some of the detailing that was on that cake etc. But here it was - that EXACT cake, wrong shape, wrong detailing and all. But it tasted good and my wedding was fun so I just didn't care. If I had to do it over again, I would have saved everyone some communication stress and not gone with her.

That is the exact review I posted on Weddingwire.com since that's where I found her. She disputed it, got it removed, and sent a NASTY email that has my mother in tears. I found out later that she was nasty to my wedding planner on a few occasions going as far as to say "Maybe you should just go to Publix!" If I had known that, I would have.

If you have a picture of the EXACT cake you want - she can probably do it and it'll taste good. Dealing with her, however, left a terrible taste. And now that WeddingWire.com has pulled the review and seems to have no problem with her mean emails to my mother and wedding planner I have to say I am non-to-impressed with them!

Update!

It continues to get worse. She has futhered the nasty emails to my wedding planner and is now harrassing my photographer! I happen to have become good friends with my photographer so when she called upset, it made me livid.

We have seem to found another outfit that is moving bogus and fake wedding gowns. This one is an online store with an actaul retail outlet. My cousin in Cocoa Beach took a drive down to Boynton Beach to check this place out. Come to find out, it is in the Boynton Beach mall and is a foreign owned place. They may be bringing in knockoff gown directly from China and listing them as authentic. I love Allure wedding gowns and decided to check out on http://www.allurebridals.com/ to see if they were an authorized retailer. Guess what? Nope, they are not.

I would stay away from this place like the plague.

Well here is another one that is making knockoff dresses. Linda Dresses at least states it in their logo, "Custom made, especially for you" but still illegally rips off the photos from the actual designer websites. This can be misleading to shoppers looking for the original article. We have not heard any complaints yet, except from the Bill Levkoff team themselves when called. I cannot verify if Linda Dresses fakes are as good as the original, but I am sure the colors must be way off the mark as far as matching. They keep poping up like rabbits. These Chinese knockoff joints are all over the web trying to steel your hard earned cash. What makes them so scary is that they actually use the designers copyrighted pictures so you think that is what you are getting. When you get your package in the mail and it looks nothing like the picture, what do you do so close to your wedding? Run out to David's Bridal and grab a cheap Vera Wang. Yes I said cheap Vera Wang, since she is now whoring out her name to the johns of David's Bridal. "Look like every other poser in a Vera Wang" should be their advertisement, but I digress. Do not buy from these clowns called Dress Times as you will be dissapointed beyond your wildest dreams. And don't even bother trying to locate them for a refund. The "Help Zone" is a poorly generic online form with no phone number to call. The email is actually a gmail account to some fake name in China. For fun, go on to the live chat which seems to only be open late at night. Check out how bad the english is. I do give them credit in trying, but who are they really fooling?

Sharon Bridal sells FAKE dresses

Ladies I am here today to answer the age old saying, "If it is too good to be true, its not" and Sharon Bridal at http://www.sharonbridal.com/ is a such a beast. This website is claiming to sell authentic designer dresses at discount prices, but fails to tell you that they are knockoffs. The biggest give away is that they are using a Gmail account and a live chat as the only form of contact. This company really went the extra mile in setting up a very good looking website with photographs from another brick and mortar bridal store. The pictures are from a featured store in Brides magazine or the Knot, as I have seen it before. I will get back with you as soon as I find out what the exact store name is since I have around 10 years of Brides and 6+ years of the Knot to go through. All of the photographs on this website are from the official designers which are copyrighted and protected from use. We are currently getting in contact with Faviana, Flirt, La-Femme, Mori Lee, Maggie Sottero, Midgley, Bonny Bridal, Casablanca, Allure Bridals, Impression Bridal, La Sposa, Pronovias, Venus, and any other brand they have stolen pictures from. Don't screw with Maggie Sottero, they will sue the crap out of this bogus company for ripping off their styles. So if you happen to come accross this site, run, do not walk to get away from these ass clowns. They will ruin your wonderful wedding by selling you a problematic bogus fake knockoff. We will list complaints, review and any problems as we get them from customers or the better business bureau, BBB, or even ripoff report and wedding wire.

We have been notified by some angry brides that wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses are not being delivered by Netbride.com which is a subsiderary of Rush's Bridal out of Minneapolis, MN.

After further investigaion from our team, we have found that the company is suffering due to the economy and is having troubles paying its distributors.

The website is still up at www.netbride.com and they are continuing to take orders, but good luck if you actually need the dress. If you happen to go by the place at the Nicollet Mall, give me a shout and let me know if the lights are on. I called the speak to David Rush and they just hung the phone up on me.

Not to beat a dead horse, but you take your chances when you buy from these online deadbeats who pose as bridal stores. This place is known for sending out dirty floor model dresses as new. Its like buying a floor model mattress or wearing used underwear. Just nasty.

Of course Netbride has a A+ rating on the BBB, but money can buy anything. Same thing with the 2010 pick from the Knot. Every bridal store that advertises in the knot get a "best of weddings". The Knot, another whore organization.

But in a retail store. If you have to buy online, get it from houseofbrides.com

Our sources have told us that the long standing RK Bridal is facing problems and may be on the brink of extinction. RK Bridal Complaint - Not the first bad review

RK BRIDAL...HORRIBLE..>WORST EVER...RIP OFF..UPDATE

RK BRIDAL was horrible.....A NIGHTMARE...Gilda was a nice salesperson, but they are very pushy...They pressured me into buying my gown. It was exactly what I wanted and they took advantage of that. She pressured me to get it too soon, and when I went home, I found it on HOUSE OF BRIDES.COM for $350.00...when I just bought it from RK BRIDAL for over $1200. Talk about a rip off....I called them immediately because of their no frills, will beat them by 5% policy...well that is only if you didn't purchase it already...they need the info ahead of time...they hadn't even processed order yet and they wouldn't budge....PLus they ordered my dress about 6 sizes too large, and then I found out that the minimum alterations is $350....they order TOO BIG on purpose to make money on the alterations...I will be pissed if the dress looks funny because they have to take it in..I even contemplated cancelling the order, eating the $500 deposit and ordering from houseofbrides, only to find out that if you cancel your order, they still charge the remaining balance of the dress to your credit card....what a RIP OFF...please save yourselves the trouble and go somewhere else...they aren't worth it....I feel horrible that I got taken advantage of. Since I wrote this I have picked up my dress. I had to wait 45minutes to be taken care of, only to find them searching for my dress.. AND IT WAS RIPPED....someone wore it, it was dirty, and the jacket that comes with it was sliced, torn, damaged.... Also I ordered 2 yards of satin fabric, to make a sash, and it wasn't two yards at all, and there were two huge chunks taken out of the fabric, like someone took fabric for a swatch. The owner REED, wasn't helpful and did nothing to rectify the situation. He won't replace the fabric, which they said was going to be $40, and was over $100, or the jacket to the gown. He was RIDICULOUS and NOT GOOD AT CUSTOMER SERVICE OR SATISFACTION. I froze my credit card payment and will not be paying them for the damaged merchandise. They have officially ruined my wedding!!!

Spare yourself and shop somewhere else

I recently purchased my wedding dress from RK Bridal; My bridesmaids all purchased their dresses from there as well. A tip for all those looking for a pleasant shopping experience - DO NOT shop at RK Bridal. From the moment we stepped into their store, the entire staff had an attitude problem. If we showed up an hour before they closed, they made sure to tell us repeatedly that they were closing and that we needed to hurry up. If we showed up earlier, they ignored us. None of the attendents would answer any questions we had about dresses and actually rolled their eyes and walked away! Most of my bridesmaids were talked into purchasing dresses that were two sizes too big so that the store could then charge them for alterations. The bigger the dress-the more work needs to be done. When one bridesmaid went in for a fitting and needed to take in the dress further, they did not want to do the extra work. My wedding dress was so big, that I had to take it in almost a size and a half. The entire staff, except for Emily was rude, dismissive and hostile. If there had been another store that carried the wedding dress that I had wanted, I would never have bought it there. I wasn't asking for any special attention, just a little acknowledgment and friendliness.

Better Business Bureau President Apologizes For 'Errors' In Grading System

In the wake of an ABC News investigation of the Better Business Bureau's controversial grading system, the national president of the BBB has apologized to consumers and business owners for "errors," and BBB leaders met Tuesday in a special session to discuss reforms to the system.

Alison Southwick, media relations manager for the BBB, said that as a result of today's meeting, the organization is "considering a critical course of action which requires further work and research before we announce our concrete next steps." In an announcement on its web site, the BBB had said that the group's Executive Committee was gathering today to discuss "ways to improve the BBB's rating system."

"As has been pointed out in the media, we have made some errors, said Steve Cox, president and CEO of the Council of Better Business Bureaus. Cox said the BBB leadership is "taking a hard look at our ratings system to ensure that the information we provide is meaningful to consumers."

"It has been pointed out that some of our practices have not measured up to the standards consumers and business owners expect from the BBB, and for that we apologize," said Cox. "We can and will do better." The ABC News report showed how a group of Los Angeles business owners paid $425 to the Better Business Bureau and were able to obtain an A minus grade for a non-existent company called Hamas, named after the Middle East terror group. In another case, the BBB also awarded an A minus rating to a non-existent sushi restaurant in Santa Ana, California and an A plus to a white supremacist website called Stormfront.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I placed an order for a dress and then they called me back two days later telling me that it would have to be rush manufactured and I would have to pay extra charges. I told them "Forget it, I can find it cheaper at a local dress shop, you initially appeared to have good prices and now you have exceeded the highest prices I've seen for this dress." They said, "Too late, you've already placed the order, you have to pay us for a rush charge." They knew the wedding date from the first day I placed my order, and did not notifiy me until my card declined their additional charges. They were so rude, and appeared uneducated. They called and harassed me. I filed complaints about them with my credit card company and the BBB. My card company ultimately gave the money because they had my initial order form. It was a horrible experience, they are tricky and rude. Bridal dresses are not made to buy online anyway. I tried to call the manufacture to check other elements of their story and the manufacture (Alfred Angelo) said that they did not acknowledge online sales of their dresses and do not condone when their vendors sell their dresses online. Stay away from this place, it's horrible.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
i ordered my bridesmaid dress for my sister from ebridalsuperstore.com becuase the prices's were great and all of the great posts about them but their CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!!! i called to find out my ship date and they told me i ad to pay another $35.00 to get my dress on time even though i already paid $55.00 for two day air. i asked them why didnt they call me and let me know this. they said they did and left me a message, they DID NOT CALL ME!!!!!! so i would have never know about it if i hadn't called them. but yet they set their and LIED TO ME saying they called! but its my wedding, i dont think i would have forgot something so important!!! so dont be supprised if they try charging you more than expected

Do NOT Recommend!!!
I was a little nervous about ordering dresses online and I wish I would have trusted my instinct. I brought 5 bridesmaid dresses from ebridal superstore and 3 of the 5 dresses were 2 sizes too small. I did my research prior to placing the order by reading reviews and calling them prior to placing order. I even had my girls go to a bridal salon to try the EXACT dress (style number and material) on to get the size to order. When they came in 3 of them were 2 sizes too small. At first I thought they must have been a manufacturing error. So I sent them back to ebridal superstore and they were no help at all! I asked to speak with the manager several times over a 2 week period and she either "just walked out" or was "out of town". I was forced to buy another dress and put a rush on it to get it in time. Ebridal did not offer any discounts to help with the extra cost. I had to pay $120 for the dress plus $45 dollars for the rush. The other 2 girls add to get the dress let out and the alternations were $100/dress (in Michigan). I would not recommend them to anyone. It has been the biggest mistake I have made and I have spent way more money then if I went to a bridal salon. Horrible customer service and sizes must run small.

I do not recommend this store to anyone. They measured my daughter on March 17th, ordered a size 10 based on their measurement. We picked the dress up on June 17th and tried it own. It was six inches too small in the waist and alleged that my daughter had gained six inches in her waist in three months, that they do not make these kind of mistakes. Their solution was to express a size 18 from the design and alter it to fit her. They could not give me any indication of how much that would cost and never offered to assume some of the cost. With her wedding coming up in August and being on vacation in July, we made the decision to go to David's Bridal and buy a dress off the rack that she had tried on and liked in March (the same size she wore in March.) In speaking with this company and filing a complaint, their assertion is still that they did not make a mistake and that I did not allow them to fix the problem. I was not paying another $300 to 400 dollars for alterations on a dress that should have been a closer fit based on based on their measurement.

My experience at Bridal Mart was absolutely horrible...very rude workers...children were not allowed to remain with parents to pick out wedding dresses...they had to wait in the front of the store..our child could not go in the back to try on her dress she had to go toward the area where the men tried on their tux's...I would not recommend this place to anyone who is planning their wedding...we left and will NEVER be back...we will tell other people of our experience.

When I went bridal mart, i had a pretty good experience. There was a wide selection an variety of dresses and the prices on most of them were pretty good. Word of caution, if you're looking for the private attention and experience of a boutique, this place is not for you. Nonetheless, the lack of personal attention was not my concern. My greatest concern is that I purchased my dress on July 7th. I was told it would arrive on October 5th and that someone would call me. I called on Oct. 9th and was told my dress had no arrived. No big deal for it to be 4 days late. The lady said she would call the next Monday. The next Wednesday after receiving no call. I called back again, the lady put me on hold "went in the back" to look for my dress told me it wasn't there and said she would call be the next Monday. At this point I'm slightly perturbed. Today is October 28th, 23 days after my gown should have arrived. I called there today and was told that the dress shipped on this past Monday and will arrive next Monday. I explained to the associate what had occurred and that everyone seemed very apathetic about my dress being a month late. She "assured" me that people were very concerned and that their dress order person called the gown company and the company was very apologetic. Despite their "concern" no one has called me in almost a month and had I not called them I doubt I would have received any updates from them as of yet. My wedding isn't until next June so it is honestly not a big deal for my dress to be late, but if you give someone a deadline, you should keep it and if something happens where you can't keep it, you should definitely keep in contact with that person. So, if your wedding is 5 months away or less, I don't recommend buying a dress from them unless you're going to get it right off the rack and take it home with you then and there. I pointed out to the lady that my dress will likely need alterations which can also take 2-3 months and her reply was that they do alt. Why would I want the same people who were apathetic about my dress being a month late to alter it too?

Bridal Mart is not inexpensive!

We bought our daughter's wedding dress there. We were very pleased with the dress, although as the other reviewers said, once you order the dress, forget customer service. Nothing else was in stock, although we were told it was. So, we made do with a different slip, and ordered the veil, and bought the shoes elsewhere. Instead of two or three trips (3 hours each way), we had to make five or six because of the fitting for bustling and picking up orders. They would not hold the dress for one week until we would be driving that way on a trip to pick up our daughter from college, so we had to make yet another trip just to get the dress, then drive through again for the fitting, and back again to pick it up after the bustling. That was CASH only. Bottom line now is that the dress was "perfect" and our daughter was beautiful in it. I don't think we saved any money though with all the added costs.

I hope this review will save at least one bride from having their dream dress ruined!! Saving some money is really not worth it in the end as memories can never be recreated! The short version - I drove 2 hours to buy my dress from this store. Instead of 14-16 weeks as promised it took over 18 after I had to call multiple times! Then it came in and it was wrong!! I paid extra for it to be measured to fit me and it arrived over 2 inches too long!! After much back and forth and 6 weeks from my wedding they finally admitted they measured me wrong and have done absolutely nothing about it only telling me too bad! They then tried to fix the mistake by bringing the dress up higher and then took in too much around the waist so the bust was gapping from my chest and sat up near my chin!! Then they cut the bottom lace to try to shorten it and resewed it up so that it fell out once I got it home. They have been absolutely terrible to deal with and ruined my one day. It is the worst feeling to feel uncomfortable in an ill fitting dress. I know others may have nice things to say about them... as did I when I went there, but the way this business conducts themselves by pushing you away is obvious they don't care about their customers. Like I said... saving money is NOT worth the risk!!

Don't do it! The customer service is horrible! It's not worth the hassle to save a few extra bucks. Check with your local bridal shop, most will meet prices. If you must go to Bridal Mart, get anything you are told in writing. Trust me, the rules will change when you want to place an order. You can ask 5 different sales staff the same question and you will get 5 different answers. If you leave a message for the manager to call you, don't expect your phone to ring. My mom left a message for the manager to call her. I left two messages. I haven't talked to her yet. When my bridesmaid ordered their dresses the orders were all messed up. It took the lady one and half hours to order 5 dresses and the orders were not correct. Planning a wedding is stressful enough. Bridal Mart will only add to your stress! I would suggest you shop somewhere else.

I purchased a designer dress from Bridal Mart and was quite disappointed in the level of customer service. I'd taken several trips to the store and only one associate was courteous and helpful. Every other associate was rude and not willing to help. They also denied me the opportunity to speak with management so that I could voice my complaint. I paid an additional fee to have my dress rushed and it was still shipped in the normal shipping time.I was not refunded the additional money. I was told my dress would arrive in 8-10 weeks. It actually arrived in 14 weeks (normal shipping time is 12-16 weeks). I was also not notified when my dress arrived. I called and found out my dress had be sitting in a box for the past few days. I was also told that accessories (veils and tiaras) were kept in stock. When I tried to purchase them I was then told it would take 6 weeks. Had I not been mis-informed, I would have purchased them when I initially saw them. There was no incentive for me purchase my dress from the store. Most bridal stores and boutiques in my area match prices. I didn't save any money by going to bridal mart. Also, unlike most bridal salons, they do not offer a complimentary steaming. I'm terribly sorry I waisted my time at Bridal Mart. I would not recommend this to any one who has high expectations for customer service.

My fiance and I stopped there on our way back to N.Y. What a disappointment! Sure, lots of dresses but mostly dirty and older styles.They herd you into a huge fitting room and expect you to get naked in front of everyone else.Talk about a cattle call ! Then someone told me not to even buy a dress there, because you can go to their web site, ebridalsuperstore and buy it for even CHEEPER than they sell it for. Believe me, its not worth saving a couple of dollars for what they put you through!

My fiancee and I went there and she said the dressing room was just one big open area with no mirror and pushy sales people wanting you to go look in the big mirror outside with no concern for what she wanted. The fact that she changed in front of several other folks was in my opinion inappropriate in this day and age. They were also rude to me and my kids. We were just standing and watching my fiancee looking at dresses with my 2 girls helping (they're 9 and 12) and I was standing with my 8 yr old son. All were quiet and being very good. We were told they could not be by the gowns. We were very insulted and we'd rather pay 100 bucks more on a dress somewhere else and be treated right than deal with the folks at bridal mart. What a waste of a trip from Charlotte.

My fiancee and I went there and she said the dressing room was just one big open area with no mirror and pushy sales people wanting you to go look in the big mirror outside with no concern for what she wanted. The fact that she changed in front of several other folks was in my opinion inappropriate in this day and age. They were also rude to me and my kids. We were just standing and watching my fiancee looking at dresses with my 2 girls helping (they're 9 and 12) and I was standing with my 8 yr old son. All were quiet and being very good. We were told they could not be by the gowns. We were very insulted and we'd rather pay 100 bucks more on a dress somewhere else and be treated right than deal with the folks at bridal mart. What a waste of a trip from Charlotte.

I have had a lot of comments on this wedding dress suppliers page about a site called Top Bridal Dress (please read through them below the following form). Yes, their prices are good, BUT sometimes if it is too good to be true....

This is what I can tell you...I was starting to believe that my comments were being "stuffed" with such good warm, fuzzy feelings from the company itself and, indeed, I did finally catch them.

They posted a wonderful post about such a great dress, great customer service, blah, blah, blah. They said they were from New York.

When I investigated their IP address (every computer has a traceable IP address back to the city and country of origin), I could see that it came from Beijing, China!

Wow, isn't that where Top Bridal Dress is?!!! Hmmmmm! If a company has to go that far to boost their own rating, my own personal view is that they are a fraudulent to begin with and I certainly would not do business with them.

If you want to, that is up to you. But be warned, a good, reliable company would not resort to these kinds of low acts.

You are my valued readers and I do not want you to get burned. The wedding dress suppliers I have listed above have been in business for years and have reliable testimonials. They would be, in my opinion, a better choice for you.

And my message to Top Bridal Dress, please stop stuffing my comments and instead you should perhaps spend more time improving the quality of both your dresses and your customer service.

Oh how the great Vera Wang has sold out. It seems that in these hard times, even the great Vera Wang needs some cash. It was only a matter of time. Just like Tommy, Lauren, Armani, Kennith all have sold downlines to the masses for a buck. Now everyone can get a little Wang, so the prestige is gone. I can hear it now, "What are you wearing?" "A Vera Wang", "Oh, sorry to hear you could't get a nice dress. BTW, you look great in polyesther."

Vera Wang to Design a Line for David’s Bridal

In a long-term deal she describes as "ginormous," Vera Wang will create a bridal collection for David's Bridal, a store that is all too often scoffed at, like gum on the bottom of a dyed satin pump. But like when Lady Gaga collaborated with Beyoncé on "Telephone," the partnership will be huge and probably great, business-wise, for both of them. The line will hit David's Bridal stores next spring, beginning with a collection of twenty wedding dresses, with bridesmaids dresses to follow, and possibly children's wedding attire after that. Gowns will range from $600 to $1,500, with most coming in under $1,200. Wang's regular bridal line ranges from about $4,000 to upwards of $25,000.

You can get a Wang gown for under $1,000 at the yearly sample sale — something people actually fly to New York and get on line at 4 a.m. or sooner for (some camp out overnight). But that only proves how popular Wang's wedding gowns are and how huge this partnership could be for her and David's Bridal.

David's had been wooing Wang to do a line for some time. Label president Mario Grauso finally agreed, concerned after the closure of a number of high-end department stores that had carried Wang's line.

“Our modern girls are not going to be turned off because we do something less expensive,” Grauso said. “That’s not something people today are embarrassed by.”

He's right: It is hip to be cheap nowadays. David's is comprised of 308 stores across the country and owns 30 percent of all bridal business nationwide, according to its president and chief executive officer. Wang makes it sound like her David's dresses won't be all that different from her pricier offerings.

She maintains that at least when it comes to classic fabrics — crepe de chines, for example — she and other top-tier designers source from the same mills as many designers further down the food chain. “Even for my lower price point of ready-to-wear, I do the basic CDC program,” she said. “We do wash it, and we do things to it … The truth is, we’re all using [certain] fabrics. And by the way, a lot of the [designers] who do those [mass] chains use the same fabrics, only they get them directly from the mills in China. You can’t compete unless you have a big company behind you because, let’s be honest, they’re not going to pay the same for the fabric. The truth here [is that] most of us in America who are upper-end designers use Symphony. [For David’s] I will be using Symphony and other things. I’m sure there are poly versions [of various fabrics] — which a lot of designers on the upper end [of bridal] use, too.”

We hope expanded offerings in affordable bridalwear have a trickle-down effect on how people think about weddings as a whole. With less invested in the dress, brides have less of a reason to drive everyone they want to see them in it mad — and all too often to the brink of bankruptcy — with all the wedding details.

I was reported to the Better Business Bureau, the BBB for my BLOG POST. The BBB Online decided to send me a letter stating that my opinions are just opinions and that I am not providing a balanced point of view.

Firt off, I would like to give my "balanced point of view" back to the better business bureau here on my post where it is fair and visible, since the BBB.org website only shows a letter grade and the number of complaints.

Dear Better Business Bureau who "acts" like a non-profit organization with a .org but take money from businesses to stay in existance, my BLOG is just that, my opionion and I never claimed it to be fair with opposing points of view. My BLOG if for those who want to cut all the bullshit of "paid for good reviews" that you provide for "members in good standing".

I note that any business that does not pays due to your organization, does not get a favorable review. Sounds like pay to play scam. Also, where do you get off thinking that you are the middle man between a business and a person. I do not remember seeing in the constiturion a fourth branch of government called the "The Judicial Brance of Smear and Defame". As I understand the way you operate is that you take any piece of crap an upset customer or compeditor or reviewer no matter if it is legitmate or not. You then make it the point of the business to defend a their position to you for your approval over a review. Then pray that you don't favor the customers complaint, which seems to be everytime.

You are damn lucky that I am not the president or anyone of power. I would revoke your .org web address and take away your bogus "not for profit" status.

I can only pray that all of the business that fear your organization get some balls and just cancel their membership to you.

Again with this company selling knockoff dresses and lieing to unsuspecting brides-to-be. I do not have a problem with them selling knockoff dresses, but when they use the actual designer images, without the consent of the designer, is flat out wrong. Buyer 100 is one such company that does this and is also posing as an american company. Hints that this company is right out of China is that use of the phone number listed: Call US: +1 541 255 3870. No one in the United States put a + in front of a phone number since we invented the telephone. Also they make it a point on the front page to mention the currency used. Really?
