So when I read, “My First Official Blog Post” by Sunny Lynn I had to respond and let her know that I so identify with all her feelings and applaud her for taking action by not only writing about them but then having the courage to publish them.

• I too lost my job.
• I too struggle to make money online.
• I too know that making money online is possible.
• I too know that a lot of work, time, and dedication are required for success online.
• I too have cried out of frustration and self doubt.

And through all this, I too am proud to say that I have learned to be a better judge of those that are genuine, selfless and share their knowledge from a heart centered place.

• I too look to Lynn Terry for advice.

Although I only discovered Lynn Terry and Self Starters Weekly Tips (SSWT) about 4 months ago, and would have greatly appreciated all her insights 2 years ago, I’m glad to have found a place online, where I can learn and grow my business that has all that has the comforts of home. A community where there is plenty of sharing, caring, support, advice, wisdom and I’ll even go as far as saying Love! I’ve yet to meet Lynn Terry or a single person from SSWT in person, nor do I speak up often, but I definitely feel the Love!

So Thank You Sunny Lynn for allowing me to see myself through your post.  Together we’ll blog, together we’ll grow, together we’ll profit – with the help of Lynn Terry and SSWT of course!

A few weeks back I listened to Lynn Terry interview PPC Mom.  If I told you that this interview was like no other interview I heard before (and I’ve listened too many) you’d probably think I was just hyping this up to get your attention.  Not my style!  I say what I mean and mean what I say, don’t kiss butt, and appreciate the small things in life that have a huge impact.

With that being said, let me tell you why I believe what was said between Lynn Terry and PPC Mom is a MUST listen to interview.

1. Lynn Terry is a Super Affiliate and the voice behind ClickNewz.com and the brains behind Self Starters Weekly Tips – two incredible resources for ALL your online needs.
2. When you listen to this interview, you get the feeling that you’re sitting among friends just having a casual chat. You don’t get the feeling that it’s been staged, practiced, or there’s some hidden agenda.  In fact, you can hear PPC Mom hesitate in some of her answers, question Lynn to clarify the question she is being asked, and probably most important for me, it comes from a place where ego doesn’t exist and a humble heart is apparent.
3. Both Lynn Terry and PPC Mom – Jennifer, permeate the Know, Like and Trust factors.

I’m not going to dissect the interview and outline the key points because that would give you an out and I really feel that there is a great deal of information, motivation and inspiration to be had from this dialogue.

Everyone will be impacted differently but I’ll guarantee EVERYONE who listens WILL benefit in some way or another.

It’s the little successes that continue to move us forward. Now go listen, get motivated, make extra money online, and thank me later!

Now, on with new business . . .

In a nut shell, Ross stepped up and made Great on someone else’s lousy behavior.

To fill you in on a few minor details, Ross was the event organizer and a speaker at one of his events failed to deliver what was promised and in the end, treated me rudely and unprofessionally.

The saga went on longer than it should have because I was fool enough to try and handle it myself and give this person the benefit of the doubt and many chances to make good on his promises.

After pretty much insisting on some form of refund and no longer willing to wait, I received the following email:

You will have to approach Ross Goldberg for a refund, since you bought through him, and he processed the funds. This should conclude our business, and please do not email me again.

Not thinking for a moment that Ross was responsible for this man’s lousy behavior and my bad experience, I was really reluctant to contact him.

Persuaded by some of my support group and one of my mentors, I contacted Ross and explained the situation.

Within minutes, like 6 to be exact, Ross replied to my email.

The rest my friends is history!

So, in an effort to express my sincere THANKS to Ross, here is my very first “in person” video ever!

Totally impromptu, late at night, after a day out and about in the rain – it didn’t have to be done perfect it just had to be said:

ROSS GOLDBERG YOU ROCK!!

Needless to say I was mortified!!  

I politely thanked @ShowerThinker but felt the need to justify the obvious neglect of my blog.

And then it dawned on me – although neglected, maybe it IS a nice blog. After all, this isn’t the first time someone complimented me on it.

Totally aware that I am my own worse critic, and working on being a better friend to myself, I decided to stop beating myself up for not keeping up with my blog and start doing what needs to be done – Stop complaining, Stop worrying, Stop over thinking, Stop Stop Stop and TAKE ACTION!

Easier said then done! What I do know all too well, is what needs to be done to succeed online. Unfortunately, I’m constantly fighting the forces of poor time management and procrastination followed by the self loathing for not being productive.

What’s so frustrating for me is that I know with out a shadow of a doubt that I’m here for a divine purpose to share my talents and gifts in a really BIG way.

And so in closing I remind myself:

“Knowing is not enough we must apply

Nothing frustrates me more then when I have to chase after customer support for answers. It seems that recently more and more of my business transactions have required making contact with customer service and my experiences have been really crappy to say the least. Is it common to receive such poor customer service or is it just that I’ve never had to seek out customer service before?

If you’re going to claim that you’ll answer inquiries and tickets within 24 – 72 hours I think waiting a week is more than enough time before sending a second email and/or support ticket. The really sad part –  I’m still getting no response! And trust me these are not businesses that are new or unknown. These are business run and owned by reputable people that can be seen on social media platforms yet just have non-responsive customer support.

If anyone can shed light on such unprofessional neglectfulness, I would love to understand the thought process behind such thinking.

I started to write a comment when it dawned on me that I could use what I was writing in the comments as material for my (neglected) blog and then use a trackback to Susan’s blog.

(I finally understand what a trackback is and how to use them. Another idea for a post, boy am I on a roll or what?)

So what was my inspiration for this post you ask?

First of all, Susan Preston wrote and shared from her heart! That alone was inspiring.

You see, I’m a true believer in:

It’s not so much “what” you say as it is “how” you say it; just as, it’s not so much “what” you do as “who” you do it with.

When reading Susan’s post, I felt sincerity, warmth and love in the words from which she wrote. Reading her post was like spending quality time with a good friend. And it was that feeling of being safe and comfortable among loved ones that inspired me to answer her question and write this post.

To answer Susan Preston’s question:

“So, if you could be, do or have anything that you wanted, what would it be?”

My first thoughts were surprising even to me. I don’t want to “be” anyone else. I’m Happy with who I am. And besides, if I did become someone else, I would no longer have “my” special people in my life – NOT worth the trade off!

As far as doing or having anything I wanted, immediately many “things” popped into my head, most of which were materialistic luxuries. And don’t get me wrong, I do like having toys and luxuries, they’re just not as much of a priority these days. Because in order to “have” you must “give” and in order to give you must take care of yourself – you can’t give something you don’t have.

And that brings me to my final answer:

I would love for people to live their lives with these 3 questions in mind:

Have you lived?

Have you loved?

Have you made a difference?

And . . . if you’re NOT happy with any of your answers – Do something about it!

I’m also still milking the holiday spirit and finding it a wee bit difficult getting back into the business routine.

Looking back at 2008, all I can say is that it was one of my toughest years in a long time. And while I had plenty of struggles and life lessons slap me upside my head, I finished the year with my head still above water. And for that I’m grateful!!

Now for 2009 . . . New Year, New game plan! I’m going straight to the source, to learn from the Best, the skills I need to take control of my life.

Since I haven’t officially started any training for 2009 yet, I’m going to hold off on naming names and the journey I’m about to embark on. However, do come back as I have every intention of sharing with you every step of this life changing process.

And it wasn’t just Ross who overdelivered. Every speaker I heard (still catching up on speakers I missed through the available replays) overdelivered with great content and actionable steps.

Yes they all had products to promote, but the special offers they put together for Ross to offer us were more than generous. As if their time, expertise, and tips weren’t enough. The only problem I had was deciding what and who I was to spend my limited funds on.

From what I hear, Ross plans on doing this again sometime in 2009. If he does, I would strongly suggest you make the investment and attend. Ross thought of everything when he put this event together, he had some of the most sought after speakers, a forum for attendees to network, chat sessions for attendees to network and ask questions, and replays to accommodate all schedules.

The Virtual Masters Seminar was an awesome event that was filled with out of this world speakers, offers, and new friends. I can not say enough good things about the Virtual Masters Seminar and Ross Goldberg.
