Obama administration dismissing deportation cases for many illegal aliens.

Gen. Petraeus says Taliban reconciliation is ultimate goal in Afghanistan, not victory. And you wonder why America is nor longer feared?

“We are aware of those remarks,” said State Department Spokesman P.J. Crowley. “I would just caution any of you that choose to write on this that once again you have a case where a blogger has pulled out one passage from a very lengthy speech, if you read the entire speech, you will discover exactly why we think he is rightfully participating in this international speaking tour.”

This is our government defending absurdly inaccurate and offensive comments by an Islamo-fascist sympathizer, in my opinion.

Let’s go through some Rauf’s statements:

“We tend to forget, in the West, that the United States has more Muslim blood on its hands than al Qaida has on its hands of innocent non Muslims. You may remember that the US-led sanctions against Iraq led to the death of over half a million Iraqi children.

Saddam Hussein is to blame for this. (By the way, his number is 500,000 number is grossly exaggerated.)

On Israel, Rauf said he does not favor the plan to establish a Palestinian state along with Israel. Instead, “The differences, perhaps, may lie on whether the solution lies in the two-state solution or in a one-state solution. I believe that you had someone here recently who spoke about having a one land and two people’s solution to Israel. And I personally – my own personal analysis tells me that a one-state solution is a more coherent one than a two-state solution. So if we address the underlying issue, if we figure out a way to create condominiums, to condominiamise Israel and Palestine so you have two peoples co-existing on one state, then we have a different paradigm which will allow us to move forward.”

Translation: Let’s wipe out all of the Israelis and create a single Palestinian state.

And the yet the State Department is defending this man and his comments. If there is one cabinet department in need a of a serious overhaul it’s State. I would argue State’s mission and purpose should be re-evaluated, along with an unprecedented turnover of personnel.

Either a language filter, or subdomains dedicated to specific languages, i.e. english.youtube.com, spanish.youtube.com, etc.

I’m so sick and tired of going to YouTube searching for videos in English yet getting videos from like 17 different languages. Now it gets really frustrating when I find the video or clip I’m searching for but it’s in every other language except English.

There is a relatively simply, though admittedly not perfect, fix for this: provide users with a list of languages when uploading videos and require them to select the language that the particular video is in. Users would then be able to filter their searches by language.

I can’t be the only one out there frustrating by this.
