We love doing fun projects, especially fun website projects. This time, we got to do a product photoshoot for ZiccoTees’ upcoming new e-commerce website, which of course we’re developing too. A day of fun with models, t-shirts, mugs and a few other exciting custom printed products. Here are some preview of the photos we shot. You can see the rest when their website goes live.

Social good + Crowd-funding

Our Founder & Creative Director, Inbaraj Suppiah has initiated a fundraising campaign via the popular crowd-funding platform IndieGoGo to setup a social enterprise to promote the sustainable development of underprivileged (rural & urban-poor) communities in Malaysia, especially on access to basic amenities, healthcare, child education, the environment and socio-economic agendas through creative ideas & socially-conscious technologies.

Fancy Fonts from Google

Well if you’re a web designer, you would’ve already noticed that we no longer need to limit our designs to standard web fonts anymore. Embedding web-compatible, fancy fonts into your website can be a pain but thanks to Google, using fancy fonts on your website is a breeze now.

Malaysian Blog Aggregators

When Project PPS was first launched many years ago, long before most people even learned how to spell “blog”, it was one of the most significant event in the Malaysian blogosphere. It brought together most Malaysian bloggers and served as a great resource point for all things blogging.

I guess, that’s all in the past now as the new petalingstreet.org only has a Google PR of 2/10. Hardly a reflection of a great blog aggregator, although the site still claims to be the “#1 Malaysian blog-ping aggregator”. PPS probably lost traction after the change in “management” and ended up where it is now.

In the past 7-8 years, many other blog aggregators came and went, some very silently. How many have you used before? Which is your favourite Malaysian blog aggregator so far?
