This is the second year of my attempt at GHR. GHR is much like a New Years resolution but its starts a month later, on February 2nd. Why then?

Because January is too close to the Christmas holiday season. I need more than a week to recover from the gluttony and reveling. I can get a head start by skipping a month.

Every month I will be checking in with my progress. First check-in will be March 3 followed by April 4th, then May 5th. Check-in days will be consistent with that month. (3/3, 4/4, 5/5)

I want what everyone else wants. To make myself better. I am resolving to improve.

I won't go into details yet because that is what the updates are for.

Staples

Just like my Evo 4G was 2 years ago, so is the latest Google phone. A game changer.

Android OS 4.0

16GB memory (expandable to 32)

1080 HD video

NFC with Google Wallet

Coming soon on the 4G LTE network near me.

WANT.

Destroyed

Well, not entirely of course.
I just dropped self-hosting with Dreamhost and Wordpress and converted everything to Blogger instead.
The only thing I am paying for now is the domain name itself.
The 7" tablet is meager on the hardware side and a bit better on the software. I wanted a book/magazine reader, access to streaming media and playable apps.

Mission accomplished.

I do regret not getting a true Android tablet because I am embedded inside Google and their web applications. I wish I could easily sync my mail, feeds, and take advantage of the new Google Currents reader, etc.

Purchasing apps and content from Amazon is it's sole purpose and does serve me well.

For $200, this is a great starter tablet and it helps me minimize and organize my digital life.
