In popular literature, wolf packs are often portrayed as strictly hierarchical social structures with a breeding “alpha” pair which climbs the social ladder through fighting, followed by subordinate “beta” wolves and a low ranking “omega” which bears the brunt of the pack’s aggression. This terminology is based heavily on the behaviour of captive wolf packs composed of unrelated animals, which will fight and compete against each other for status. Also, as dispersal is impossible in captive situations, fights become more frequent than in natural settings.

A Winning Bridge Design

10 DESIGN and Buro Happold have won the international design competition for the key signature gateway bridge for the new Shizimen Business District in Zhuhai, China.The feature bridge is the gateway entry to south China’s new planned commercial hub and also marks the connection of the Shizimen Canal to the Pearl River Delta. Working together in one of their first collaborations the 10 and Buro Happold team set out to create a simple and elegantstructural solution for a bridge that would be a visual focal point both within the Shizimen District itself and along the Pearl River Deltacoastline. The winning bridge scheme proposes anundulating ribbon of structure that wrapsaround the 6 lane road deck in a continuoussculptural loop form.

Why you should choose the right font

This is an oldie, but in my opinion it is still worth sharing as an example of what the consequences of a very unfortunate choice of font can be. In english, the title of the movie is “Love in the Buff”, the font makes it read something different.
