For defamation cases, there’s only one way to get sued — if you lie. Sure there’s a few more elements they taught us in law school — but if I told you what they were I’d get post-law-school-PTSD and break out in hives. So when Jonathan Jaxson claimed to have it on personal authority that Kim Kardashian’s marriage was staged, I thought, “He’s gotta be telling the truth. No one is stupid enough to openly expose themselves to such an easy defamation case, right? Apparently, he was that stupid. He settled with Kardashian, and that settlement included a public apology. Might I add that Kim Kardashian has turned into quite the shark? I’m moderately impressed.

Star Jones Returns to ‘The View’ — Still Evasive

If you own your truth, no one can touch you. And Star Jones still hasn’t owned her truth. She returned to The View to squash the bad blood, yet she objected to Barbara Walters’ rehashing of her departure. I’m not sure how Star Jones thought she’d get away with dodging Queen Walters, but she certainly tried. “Are you seriously going to go there?” She asked. “Does anyone care?” Walters wouldn’t relent. “You may not care,” she said. “But you’re used to hot topics.” Jones gave a bunch of canned answers that fooled me into thinking she was running for office. Walters then asked Jones about her decision to hide her gastric bypass surgery. Jones still dodged the answer.

‘The Voice’: Did Adam Levine Abandon Javier Colon?

NBC has two seasons to make the winners of The Voice into huge stars and after that, they will lose all credibility. American Idol may be threatened by The Voice, but Idol has made some of the biggest stars in history and it is therefore more than just a talent show. So this brings me to a very important question: What happened to Javier Colon? Where is he? Why isn’t he booked on late night shows singing a hit single? When is his album coming out? And most importantly — why the fu*k isn’t Adam Levine doing anything to propel his career? Adam appeared on Howard Stern yesterday and mentioned Colon, saying that he’s trying to help him, and Colon is “struggling.” He also made a moderately condescending remark about how the winners have to take their career by the reigns after the show is finished. Perhaps he should look to Blake Shelton who took Dia Frampton on his tour. You don’t get to sit on your throne touting that you “won” season one, especially when the contestant you won with can’t sustain a career.

Adam Levine appeared on Howard Stern today and Stern asked him about Randy Jackson’s recent comments that The Voice is a ““I spent 25 years working in a psychiatric hospital, and one of the first things I noticed is that the very rich and the very poor have more in common with one another than with the rest of us . . . . So, when we see these off the rail, so to speak, behaviors, it certainly is not limited to impoverished or stressed social strata . . . . Many of us could be capable of some not so good things. Income and privilege or lack, thereof, may not have that much to do with it, at least, certainly at the extremes it sure doesn’t.” Dr. Drew on whether income levels and drug addiction are related.

Dr. Drew on Bill Maher — “Prescription Drugs Are Worse Than Street Drugs”

Though I’ve had my issues with Dr. Drew in the past, I never get sick of hearing his perspective on drugs. He appeared on Bill Maher to discuss Whitney Houston’s death, and the conversation was very interesting. According to Drew, when celebrities switch from street drugs to prescriptions drugs, that’s when they die (see Heath Ledger, Anna Nicole Smith, and Michael Jackson). Watch below.

Khloe Kardashian on Jimmy Kimmel — Admits She Hated Kris Humphries

Khloe Kardashian is by far my favorite Kardashian. In fact, she might be the only one I like at all. If you watched Kim Kardashian’s wedding special, then you would have seen Khloe tell Kim about her dislike for Humphries, and she even directly addressed her feelings with Humphries himself. When Kim’s marriage fell apart, Khloe somehow refrained from saying, “I told you so.” Watch Jimmy Kimmel ask Khloe about Humphries below.

Cindy Crawford Stops Daughter’s Fashion Career

Cindy Crawford rightfully decided not to whore-out her ten year old daughter to the fashion world. Though her daughter recently modeled Versace’s children’s line, Crawford said, “At this point, she’s too young to pursue a career. There aren’t even a handful of jobs for a 10-year-old girl.” This is good news. I was actually pretty disgusted by the photos from the Versace line, because no one wants to see a sexualized 10 year old. Perhaps Crawford should have a conversation with Kris Jenner.
