Not to be too fanboyish, but generalizing Disney as the company that only makes ever happy things slightly annoys me. Disney is capable of running the gamut, from lustful villains like Frollo, bittersweet friendships, mythology with Gargoyles, etc. They have that Touchstone label for a reason.

Anyway, I think the deal has been beneficial, despite looking foolish at first(with all the Marvel characters being in other obligations). Disney seemed to want Marvel to appeal to a demographic they often neglected, so changing it would sort of defeat the purpose

I must live under a rock..I had no idea Disney bought Marvel.

I love superhero movies! I grew up on Superman (black and white show pluse Christopher Reeves movies) and it’s still a favorite genre for me. I love other than a few choice words the whole family can watch most of them!

Disney has the ability to promote very well and knows how to tap into the family market. I think it was a bold but genius move.

I believe this show could be ABC’s next big hit. Last season produced some great television and ABC is quickly making up a majority of my watching now.
