But did they do anything to smoothen the ride? It had gotten far too jerky in the last few years. Also, I hope they did something to improve the merch area at the exit. It was just dumpy and sad.

I just tried it and it works fine on my Palm Pre as well. According to the website, they now officially state that the site supports iPhone, WebOS (the Palm Pre and Pixi) and Android.

I don’t work in foods, but I am a DLR Cast Member (attractions) and I think if people are going to use this argument, we should germ check our guests when they come into the park. I’ve seen snotty-nosed sicky children LICKING items in my attraction. And then I HAVE to touch these things because it’s my job. And I can’t leave to get disinfectant because I’m in a safety position. Grown adults have coughed and sneezed in my face and acted as if that’s perfectly fine. I used to never get sick…and now I work at Disneyland, and I’m sick all the time. Guests get me sick, and I’m supposed to call in and get points on my record, and get a smaller paycheck. And eventually those points will get me fired.
Again, foods is a different case, but they do have to wash their hands about every two seconds and they all wear disposable gloves that are easily replaced. And if these CMs don’t want to pay the price for their health then they should just suck it up like the rest of us.
Guests should be concerned about their health regardless, coming to a park where thousands upon thousands of people are mingling. It’s just common sense.

Thank you for this information. I have been trying to locate his new contact info for quite a while. Bill has been active with our San Francisco Bay Club, Golden Gate Disneyana Club, since its inception in 1987. Some of us attended his 90th Birthday celebration at the Grand Ballroom in Disneyland Hotel. As host of “My Disneyland Memories” on WindowToTheMagic.com podcast, I have been planning a show on Bill. Even though he is honored as a Disney Legend, his work (and his generosity) deserves more recognition and appreciation.

I’ve always said Jungle Cruise has the best potential of being a great film. They have to do a campy period movie, in the Pirates style, for it to work though…it can’t be a Haunted Mansion thing where Eddie Murphy and his family go on a wacky cruise through the jungle.

OH MY GOSH! I totally agree about the Haunted Mansion film. It is my favorite ride and the feeling I get is “its tim burten spooky” its got that scary quality but its more “artistic” scary. THats the kind of mindset they should have put into the film- weird, dark, spooky, but DISNEY. But im not cancelling out the murphey film- I enjoy watching him in family films.

I cannot believe everyone being against Andrew!!
Blake will never make it to the pro’s with his temper ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time and his sour puss.
All of the contestents, but Kevin, should be ashamed how they are ganging up on Andrew. I sure hope Andrew or Kevin win. I almost don’t want to watch this show. I would be embarrassed being on national tv, and acting like them. They should be ashamed of themselves.
