So when we are in the fallen works and we experience sickness, death, decay, hatred, judgment and all of the “ills” of this fallen world, we have to simultaneously know that this is not the Kingdom, not our true state. By holding the paradox we are able to make decisions which are in our highest good and the highest good of this world - so that we can return this world to the divine template that God intended. So if we have cancer or a serious illness, we can make a decision on treatment from one end of the spectrum to the other - fully conventional medical treatment to healing ourselves. Holding the paradox allows us to find the fulcrum which likely incorporates a mix of treatments (conventional and alternative) along with visioning, prayer, etc. For we are in this world with its conventional treatments but not of it (we are divine).</span><span style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody;">&nbsp;</span><span class="s1" style="font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody;"></span></p><p class="p2" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; Because our personalized self has its conditioning, traumas, grievances, judgements, defenses, etc that must all be cleared if we want to be in this world but not of it. If we are asking to be a clear vessel through which God moves and has His Being, all of the aforementioned will arise at different times. When these arise, we are not doing something wrong which can often feel like is the case. We are being brought what we ask for - we are on a journey of remembrance and recognition of our divinity, as are all of the other parts of God. Some are more resistant and want to go slower, staying in a state of denial, medicating through many means, but we are all on this path. And when we recognize this, it brings us to a state of compassion for ourself and for others. If you’re not feeling compassion towards others, it’s because you’re not feeling compassion for yourself. No, I am not being accusatory or judgmental and saying why don't you fix something? Better stated, what is THE problem? Sure, each person has different "problems" --- no job, no money, bad health, addictions, difficult family circumstances, no significant other --- the list can go on and on. But THE problem underlying them all, the core problem, is the belief that we are separate from God. When we hold that belief, we don't turn to God, and we don't believe He will help us. So all of your "problems" become magnified and seem very real. Of course, if you don't have a way of producing income or a roof over your head, that is a reality you have to deal with. But if you know that you are not separate, that He will take care of all of your "problems", that He has given you the inheritance to the Kingdom, you really don't worry about these "problems" because you know He will take care of them if you give them to Him and KNOW that He will provide. And the magical thing is that He will do this, and these "problems" will clear up quickly. In God all things are possible --- and promised. If your circumstances continue to be difficult, recognize what the true probelm is.
