you soon. I'll post to this blog when the nutritional information is updated.

Thanks for your patience, I know it's been a long time since we've updated type="text">Fall Menu Changes

You've probably noticed that we've made a few changes to the menu. This is the first refresh we've done to the menu in over a year, so please let us know what you think.

Most notably, we've simplified our dumplings choices and no longer offer the mushroom chicken dumpling. We now offer three dumplings choices: ginger pork, szechuan chicken and spinach.

Dumpling meals now come with an asian mixed greens side salad, which pairs a premium mesclun mix with our signature sesame ginger dressing. The side salad replaces the side of rice that used to be served with the dumpling meals. Steamed white and brown rice is still available upon request if you prefer rice over salad.

We've listened to your comments and our salad rolls now are made with green leaf lettuce instead of iceberg lettuce. Let us know how you like it.

You can view and print out the new menus by clicking <a The class was a part of a gang resistance after-school program, where the kids come into the kitchen once a week and cook different food from around the world. What a great idea!

Cooking is such a fun activity for kids, and it's a great skill for them to learn. I would love to host a community program like that in Portland, and I think our Pacwest location would be a great place to hold it on weekends. If you would like to help, please email me at community@steamerscorp.com.

Read more about the Haley House at their website: http://www.haleyhouse.org/

Recent Awards

We've been awarded City's Best Cheap Eats by AOL Cityguide for 2006! The Lance Armstrong Foundation provides support and assistance for people living with cancer.

Our downtown restaurant is sponsoring a bicyclist, Ivan Rosenhouse, in this year's Livestrong Ride coming to Portland on September 24th. Our goal is to raise at least $2,000 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

In this spirit, we will donate 20% of the proceeds from every group menu order between March 1, 2006 and September 1st, 2006 to the Lance Armstrong Foundation. So, ask your server how your group order can go towards supporting a good cause.

This is part of an ongoing effort on our part to give back to the communities that have supported us. In the future, we would like to continue supporting great causes through this group order donation program. If you are passionate about a cause in our local community, we'd love to hear about it.
