Soul Searching – Volume VI

Just a little forewarning: this is an intense episode of Soul Searching. The first half is basically all minimal/tribal house with little or no vocals. Then the second half picks up with some dirty vocal based electro club-bangers, and the whole thing closes off on a somewhat mellowed out track at the end. Enjoy.

I mixed this episode live in Ableton Live 8 using a UC-33e. Rather than pre-producing it, the mix is a recording of me mixing the tracks. At any given moment chances are there is a minimum of 3 up to 4 tracks playing at once; a main track and supporting loops in the background.
