Today is International Womens Day and little did I know that Womens Day has been observed since the 1900’s! Every year thousands of events are held around the world to inspire women and celebrate achievments. Hundreds of events occur not only on this day but through out the month of March –Womens History Month to celebrate the achievments of women around the world.

So, I just found out that I have been nominated for a Chozen Award in the category of Motivator of the Year :). How exciting is that?! It's always wonderful to receive recognition for doing something you genuinely love to do and that you are passionate about. For the past 4 years I have been speaking to young women across the country about the importance of self esteem, leadership, and healthy
