New Goals for Memorial Day weekend! Because of course you have nothing better to do this weekend than play Zynga / Facebook games. Am I right? Huh? Huh?  Who’d visit family on a three day holiday? Psh.

If I am understanding the in-game text correctly, the rewards are six 6x stoves, and a statue of Buck Toupee. Gee. If all it takes to get a statue of me is torture people into building stoves….

Okay, I’ll tone down the snarky.  But I will just say that I am seriously considering giving these a pass.  I’ve learned that increasing the number of burners increases the number of dishes I’ll have to cook, so there is very little benefit to having more burners, either from 6x stoves OR from a statue that grants one additional stove slot.

Look what I found above my game window:

Don’t worry. It’s not real. I’m just tired and a little bitter.

Some tips:

1)Try to get to the later days goals sooner than they unlock naturally. Day 12 has a dish with a 2-day cook time, no doubt to pressure you into spending Cafe Cash to skip.

2) If you finish the multi-stage buildable (the 10-stage things where you paint a room or build a crib) occasionally it will trigger a completion on a later day’s goal. One of those dark grey squares pop up in the upper left of the screen. QUICKLY click on it and you’ll be able to see what dishes are expected. You might even be able to cook them early if you know them.

Anyway, there’s a lot of cute stuff in this one. There’s a tree (what I collect) and a pony, cow, and some animals. Even a free dart for the Mystery game.  Take a look at the simple math that I’ve put after the crop entries. This is to help you figure out how many sets of 16 you’ll have (for those max-sized combines) and the extras plots remaining. You’ll figure it out, if it’s important to you.

Use the following information to plan crops ahead so you can blow through the quests as fast as possible. Good luck!

Added Copper Hard Drive, Copper Motor, Copper Heating Coil and Copper Burner Ring.  I hate when they sneak those in later. *grumble* ~The FG

I’m so unhappy about these goals that I can’t even say anything nice.  I don’t know how they think I can get the Graphite Goals AND this done within their respective time limits.  If you can, I’m happy for ya though.  I don’t have any of the specific goal info though, sorry. Ran out of spice and patience.  I’m sure someone respectable will put it in the comments though, so check there or the forums.

TIP:  After putting your stove out as directed in Goal #1, put it away during goal #2 and pull out a more useful stove. You don’t need the 6x frame to be taking up a slot in your cafe. Finish the goals first and THEN take it back out of your inventory.

These should be easier for you to collect. If you’re wondering, I do intend to go to the older stuff and fix them up like these, but for now, it’s only working on the ones I mention it on.

5-4-2012 – Added Graphite Hard Drive and Graphite Motor ~The FG

Hey everyone.  Are you as excited as I am to see the new 6x stoves?  This set of goals has.. probably.. 15 or so goals. I haven’t gotten to the end unfortunately because the dreaded Multi-stage builder they added, called the “Graphite Stove Shop”, has slowed me down considerably.  Still, I was able to get through the first  few and have an idea that it’s probably 15. Two for each burner (12), two intro goals, and 1 goal at the end for “Ultrafication”.  That’s my prediction.  Let’s see how close I get to being right.

Keep in mind that we’ve got less than 7 days to get 15 goals done, which means we’ll be doing two goals a day. Think it’s doable? I doubt it.  I can tell there’s going to be a lot of ticket submission in my future. *sigh*

TIP:  After putting your stove out as directed in Goal #1, put it away during goal #2 and pull out a more useful stove. You don’t need the 6x frame to be taking up a slot in your cafe. Finish the goals first and THEN take it back out of your inventory.
