The previously released version was good but I love the imagery on this one. I’m going to end up re-watching this vid 10 or so times tonight just to catch some of the symbolism that may have ‘went over my head’.

This wall reminds me of something that came up during a brainstorm session at one of my past agencies. The Hello Wall is an interactive experience that allows the consumer (person) to control their experience. This could be modified in so many different ways, i.e., puzzles, games, mazes, etc. Cheers to my friends in the UK for this effort. More on the above video, below.

Background

Wasted Spaces commissioned London-based artist duo Hellicar & Lewis to develop The Hello Wall.

The installation went live this Monday, March 8th. It uses Twitter to let the public interact with the huge wall projection on Wembley High Road.

Until Sunday March 14th, you can get interact with this live artwork by Tweeting commands to @thehellowall. You can use shapes (triangles, squares, circles), commands (more, less, shake) or just say hello@thehellowall.

The project is part of a 50-meter high outdoor video installation on Wembley High Road. In the past 5 weeks the installation has showcased international and home-grown artists including Rafael Rozendaal, David Szakaly, Robert Hodgin and currently, Hellicar & Lewis.

The below is a trailer for the fourth series (season) of the epic UK teen drama, Skins. It is teenage angst at its finest. Forget Gossip Girl if you are looking for a realistic view of the middle children of Generation Y. These Millennials in the UK are an example of the multiculturalism, complexity, and pervasive globalism which plays a large part in the future of the Western world. For example in season 2 one of the characters, Tony Stonem, dealt with Jungian elements throughout the entire episode. Each episode of the series tends to deal with inner workings and hidden mechanisms of each character’s psyche. Deep stuff for teenagers, but shallow enough to keep you watching each new episode. Now that I have you fixated on Millennial TV…

Other good Millennial’s TV would be (older skewing–A 21-29) American HBO comedic drama, How To Make It In America. Lastly, take a look below for a taste of the new season of Skins which is currently airing on E4 in the UK.

Wally Vega is an enigmatic character out of Ohio. He represents an irreverent style of Hip-Hop that has FINALLY been embraced by the mainstream. However, he goes DUMB on this track. As I look out of my Brooklyn apartment’s window, the sun is shining. Indeed this son of Ohio is shining, too. With an upcoming EP pending release, the streets and internets now know, “Vega’s in the house!”

Rishad Tobaccowala, chief strategy and innovation officer for Publicis Groupe’s VivaKi, let the 4A’s Transformation Conference people know that the transformation in the industry will be led by (young) “builders”. It was the best talk (from a marketer) that I experience during my trip out west. The video has some good sound-bytes but does not do Rishad justice. I see this view upon crossing into the area where my alma mater takes up residence. Secondly, I see a Rolling Rock "Born Small Town" ad. FYI RR is one of the classic American brews and the topic of discussion in a lot of my UMass marketing classes. For the record, I got an A in marketing.

This is the most interesting site design I’ve ever seen. It is all about exploration and discovery. When I stumbled upon it, it was rather plain which immediately peaked my curiosity. As I investigated around the screen, I slowly found links to other parts of the site, seen only when my mouse moved over them. Possibly, Kanye is attempting to make a metaphor about who he is as a person. Maybe.
