Hey Guys it's 2020 and we are back. In this episode we catch up on where the hell we've been. What's been going on in our personal lives, and what games we are looking forward to as well as playing. Chris is balls deep in The Witcher 3 again. Even tho with his new job he only gets to play for about 2 hours a night. Kaleb has been rock climbing, drinking beer, and writing.

The guys are very excited for FFVII Remake and Resident Evil 3. With Chris being excited for a Animal Crossing which release a little before those two games.

GDX Podcast Episode 19: Border Blade

Then we hop into what we've been playing. Chris and Hollow have played a ton of Borderlands 3 together even trying to conquer the raid. They haven't cleared it just yet but it will happen. Hollow's been playing Borderlands 3 and Destiny 2 and his thoughts on them are very Hollow Blade. Chris is still playing Starwars Fallen Order but he's at the end and about to finish the game. He gives us a short review of his almost 40 hours with the game.

The guys then jump into some more of the pop culture stuff going on. With only 15 days til the end of the Skywalker Saga, Rise of the Skywalker is on everyone's mind. The guys also discuss the shows and movies they've seen. Chris just started watching Starwars Rebels and is loving it so far. Hollow's been watching Kingsman. Again be ready for another normal Hollow review.

It seems that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a bit too hard for many gamers out there. As such there has been people who have now called for the developer, From Software, to add an update that gives the game an easy mode. This as you would expect has caused some very vitriolic comments on twitter and social media.

We dive right in on our take on the easy mode debate, which differs between us. We talk about reviewers using cheat codes, and whether they would still be employed by us if they wrote the review for GDX. Plus so much more.

Hey everybody and welcome to episode 6 of the GDX Podcast. We know we've been gone for about a month but we are back!. There is so much that gets discussed in this episode that it's a double size 1hr and 40min episode for you. So lets get started.

Resident Evil 2 Remake has launched and the guys go into a good detail about it.

Kingdom Hearts 3 has finally been released and Chris is really excited to see Sora's story come to an end.

In recent news Reggie Fils-Aime is stepping down as Nintendo President. The boys reflect on Iwata, Miyamoto and Reggie's time at Nintendo.

A Nintendo Direct happen a few weeks ago and the guys go over all the big news.

Link's Awakening is being remade (it's coming in 2019) and on this the 33rd anniversary of the franchise, the guys go into how they feel about the recent announcement.

The guys show their age and gripe about Konami for a little while. Even going into a bit of Silent Hill talk.

The guys end talking about Ubisoft and how strong their 2018 was and how 2019 is looking to be a good year for the developer as well.

GDX Episode 5

This week on the GDX Chris and Kaleb are talking Resident Evil 2, Dark Souls 1-3, KKingdom Hearts 3, and the Oscars.

It's been awhile and the guys start the episode catching up on the things they've been playing. For Chris that Darksouls Remastered on the Switch. It's his first time completing the game and he's now caught the Souls Borne itch. Aside from spending most of his time with Darksouls Chris has also been spending his time with Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Season 16 of Diablo 3.

Kaleb on the other hand has been playing Darksouls Remastered on the PS4, after having his urge to play reignited by Chris. He's also been dabbling in some games here and there like the Order 1886, and some indie titles.

Both guys have been just trying to fill the time until Resident Evil 2 releases. Which this show was recorded on the eve of. The guys speculate which characters have been cut. Talk about the time limit demo for the game, and are just really excited for the remake to be so close.

Kingdom Hearts 3 reviews dropped today. So the boys spend sometime discussing the fallout from Polygon's review as well as what other sites have said. Following this the guys do dive deeper into the lates news like EA and Starwars canceled game.

Chris and Kaleb round out the episode talking about the Oscar's since Black Panther got a best picture nod. They go over who was nominated and Chris will tell you what movies has boobs.

GDX Episode 3

Hey everyone and welcome to episode 3 of GDX. Tonight Chris and Kaleb sit down and discuss the future.

First the guys give you a run down of why it's been 3 weeks since the last episode. It involves blood, sweat tears, and some audio quirks.

2018 is coming to a close quite quickly and the guys turn their attention to the future of 2019 what they are excited for and what 2019 and beyond could hold for the gaming industry.

Resident Evil 2 Remake is coming up quick. Both Chris and Kaleb can't wait as Resident Evil 2 is one of their favorite games. The guys discuss the newest Mr.X video that was released as well as discuss the Licker video and the other information that has come out since the last Gaming Death Podcast Episode.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is the other big game that is right around the corner. The guys go over the story so far. Chris still needs to complete Dream Drop Distance and Birth by Sleep. Kaleb on the other hand hasn't touched any of the games since Kingdom Hearts 2.

Looking at the movies of 2019, both Detective Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog have movies coming. The guys discuss their thoughts and spend a good amount of time riffing on the Sonic movie poster.

This extra long episode gets wrapped up talking PS5 and the future beyond 2019 for the gaming industry.

GDX Episode 2

Welcome to episode 2 of GDX. Your weekly podcast about videogames, movies, tv, and geek culture. This is an episode where the crew will probably make some of you angry..... Oops.

The guys start off talking about Blizzcon, the yearly convention put on by Blizzard/Activision to celebrate everything Blizzard. Day one is normally a press conference to announce new things coming in the pipeline for some of the biggest Blizzard games which include World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch, and this year Diablo. This year it was the Diablo announcement that set the internet on fire. While many fans were eagerly awaiting the announcement of Diablo 4 Blizzard announced instead Diablo Immortal, a mobile Diablo game that takes place between Diablo 2 and 3. Since this isn't a new PC Diablo game and it isn't Diablo 4, the internet decided to grab their pitch forks and come for Blizzard's head. Many feel this is a cash grab by Blizzard, and that it's Blizzard selling out more to their activision overlords. While both Chris and Kaleb feel that Blizzard could handle the situtation much better than how they did, the guys feel that the angry mob of the internet is going too far.

It seems like the internet just really wanted to be angry this week because the guys move on from the Diablo Immortal fiasco, to the final Smash Ultimate Nintendo Direct. Before the direct there was a leak commonly refered to as the Grinch Leak that supposedly showed 5 more characters coming to Super Smash Brother Ultimate. Those characters included Shadow the Hedgehog, Banjo Kazooie, Mach Rider, Ken Masters, Geno, and the Chrous Kids. Many felt this leak was legitimate with what seemed like the poster getting fired after it was leaked, and the promo materials shown were almost identical to the offical promo materials for the game. When the direct happen it was reveled that the Grinch Leak was false. Instead of all the characters shown in the leak Smash is only getting 2 more characters (Ken Masters and Inciniroar) ontop of this the game is only getting 5 DLC characters no more and no new echo fighters. This set the Nintendo fans to the net to yell and complain. The guys have mixed feeling about this.

The guys talk a bit about Red Read Redemption 2. While the guys wish they could have spent more time with the game, it killed Chris' PS4, and Kaleb needs to beat Assassin's Creed Odyssey before really jumping into it. They do spend time discuss the problems with Red Dead 2, which include the pacing that the internet seems to be all over these days. They do try to dissuade that the pacing does get better after chapter 2.

The guys end the cast talking Resident Evil 2 remake. Since the guys haven't spoken about the gameplay footage shown at E3 and the subsequent videos, they spend some time reminicing about the how the new footage has them excited for one of their favorite games of all time.

GDX Podcast Episode 1

Welcome one and all to the very first episode of GDX. Your hosts Chris and Kaleb are here to talk about the happenings in the gaming world, their takes on the hottest new games, console and accessories for all the major video game platforms, as well as some movie and tv reviews.

In this inaugral episode of GDX, Chris and Kaleb catch you up on what has been going on for the past 5 months. What happen to The Gaming Death Podcast, and where we have been. This includes the rumor of a possible death, a possible falling out, and a possible health issue. (one of these was right)

Then the guys finally get to talk about God of War. It's not a very long conversation but after lots of build up the guys felt it was right to have the conversation that should've happen months ago. Like everyone else, they love the game.

It's the eve of Red Dead Redemption 2, or as Chris likes to call it Rootin Tootin Cowboy Shootin 2. So of course the guys have to talk about Rockstar Games. Everything from Grandtheft Auto 3, Grandtheft Auto: Vice City, GTA IV, and GTA V get compared to Red Dead Redemption. While some are apprehensive it seems from the reviews, that Red Dead Redemption 2 is one hell of a game. Listen next week when we discuss it in more depth.

The guys end the episode talking about Spider-Man PS4. Chris just finished the game and has lots of thoughts on it. The review for Spider-Man PS4 is spoiler filled and no stone gets unturned. Please keep in mind that the guys review of Spiderman PS4 like most of their reviews spend more time on the negatives that are normally glossed over by other outlets.

Hey guys and welcome to the Gaming Death Podcast Episode 239: I'm Chris and joining me tonight back from the land of Hobbits and Elves Mister Kaleb.

Tonight's episode starts off with Assassin's Creed Origins, Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered, and Burnout Paradise Remastered. All 3 are amazing, even if it surprises Kaleb that I don't buy DLC.

Kaleb played 2 indie games on his flight to and Kiwi Land. The first was Subsurface Circular. Which is a talking sim that takes about 2 hours to complete. The second was Mulaka. A 2d Zelda clone based on Native American and Mexican folklore. This causes a bit of an argument between Chris and Kaleb about games and why someone would waste their time with a good game when there are other great indie games to play like Celeste or Stardew Valley.

Then we get into some trailer talk. Especially Dead Pool 2. That trailer is so good annd everyone should go watch it right now.

Then we answer your questions before wrapping up the show for tonight.

Final Fantasy XV new content announced; The game will be supported into 2018 and the ability to switch characters during the main story is coming soon.

PSX is next weekend; It has already been comfirmed that game play and story elements of The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima will be shown.

Another new Tekken 7 character announced; Geese Howard of King of Fighters fame has been confirmed to joing the roster.

SMT V announced for US release; In an unsurprising announcement Shin Megami Tensi V has been announced for US release on the Nintendo Switch

Mario Odyssey selling well; Amazon has announced that Mario Odyssey is their best selling game of the year.

Nintendo hits it big with the Switch; The Ninentdo Switch is on track to out pace the Wii in it's first 10 months on the market. The Switch has also been named tech of the year, and sold more units than any other system over the black friday/cyber monday weekend.

Good Guy Bungie; Bungie cancelled a live stream on the upcoming Destiny 2 Exspansion to address fans concerns and layout what the next few updates have in store for the end game.

Demon Souls is dead; After nearly 10 years it was announced that the servers for Demon Souls will be shutting down for good at the end of December.

Destiny 2 Releases today. Chris and Kaleb are both looking for the reviews to determine if they want to pick it up or wait it out.

Resident Evil 7 Gold edition announced with all 3 pieces of paid DLC, and the Chris Redfield No Hero DLC has been announced for December.

No more Heroes 3 announced as well as a bunch of other games at the Nindies.

The Gaming Death Podcast Episode 219: I Need to Scan This

Hey guys and welcome to episode 219 of the Gaming Death Podcast. Tonight is a shorter episode apologies before hand.

Chris was checked out over the weekend, since him and his family had to put down their beloved family dog Muffin. She was an 11 year old Border Collie who didn't win her fight with Cushings disease. While Kaleb was just completely checked out. So the news of what happen in Charlotte neither knew about til late. The guys discuss this for a little at the beginning I promise it's short. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family's of those hurt and killed.

Onto some video games! Kaleb finally completed Andromeda! He believes it's the most unique game in terms of quality he has ever played.

Chris has fallen down a Kingdom Hearts hole. He has already completed Kingdom Hearts One and Chain of Memories plus he's about 10 hours into Kingdom Hearts 2. He gives a look back on the games after not playing any of them since launch.

Hey guys and welcome to episode 214 of the gamingdeath podcast. Tonight we have Chris and Hollow Blade on this Freedom Day celebration.

Hollow has gotten back into Final Fantasy 14. The guys discuss the changes since it's become a realm reborn, the cost to start playing, and the differences between FF14 and FF11.

Chris has been playing the new Diablo 3 Necromancer Class. It's probably one of the most broken classes in the game. As such he's been able to get to higher rifts and do difficulties he's never been able to in all the years he's been playing D3.

Ever Oasis came out for the 3DS and Chris can't put it down. It's one of his favorite games he's played so far this year. The awesome amalgamation of Runfactory meets Kingdom Hearts is phenomenal. Ever Oasis does to Action JRPGs what Bravely Default did to classic JRPGs.

The Gaming Death Podcast Episode 213: The truth is on the Horizon

Hey guys and welcome to episode 213 of the Gaming death Podcast. Tonight Chris, Kaleb, and a surprise Hollow Blade go over what they've been playing, talk about Sony's decision to not allow cross platform play, and answer your questions.

Horizon Zero Dawn is one hell of a game. Chris and Kaleb have finally jumped back into it with both feet. They start out talking about all the nuances and really analyzing the game. There is more conversation to be had here but Hollow jumped into the cast and the discussion was cut short. Which is a good thing.

Hollow and Chris have been going hard on Heroes of the Storm. Hollow wins as long as Chris isn't playing with him. That's okay tho we all have to learn sometime, but Chris is a damn potato with DPS characters.

Sony has refused to let players of Minecraft and Rocket League play across platforms. Their reasoning is that they won't have control of the content put out by players on the other networks. Chris is fired up on this one and thinks that Sony is holding back the whole industry with their decision. While Kaleb defends Sony and believes they don't need to do this because of how far ahead of Everyone they are.
